"Marinette was so clever, wasn't she, Plagg?" Adrien smiled as he gazed at the "Ladybug" video Clara Nightingale had come to shoot. "It would be, if you were a good dancer," Plagg mumbled, eyeing a piece of cheddar. "Hey, come on," Adrien frowned, looking away from the screen. "This Cat has class."
"Maybe you could impress Ladybug with your dancing skills," Plagg grinned. "And reveal my secret?" "What, that you can't dance?" "No, that I'm Cat Noir!" "I was talking about you as Cat, I meant as Adrien!"
Adrien stroked his chin. Hm, the idea wasn't half bad. Sure, he would love to impress her as Cat but for now, that would have to come in the pun department. "You know, what? I'll do it!"
Adrien rewound the video, and watched sighing as he tried to copy the moves. Dancing was a lot harder then it looked!
"Your looking sore," Marinette said, as Adrien walked into school holding a large coffee. "You okay?" "Dancing is hard," Adrien groaned. "Dancing?" Marinette asked. "Uh….." Adrien paused. "Oh, my father has me taking me lessons!"
Marinette giggled. "I can't imange you prancing around in a tutu, but I bet you good in tights!" Adrien turned bright red. More like black leather, honey, but yes. "And yes, dancing is hard. Before those audtions for Clara, I was on my butt more then I was on my feet!"
Just then, the school bell rang. Adrien sighed. It was nice to think about school for a few hours.
The days pasted, and Adrien continued to work on his surprise for Ladybug, but it still felt stiff and jerky. "What am I doing wrong, Plagg?" he fell into his desk chair.
"Everything?" Plagg joked. "Plagg!" "Okay, here's what we'll do. First, you'll need these!" Plagg tossed Adrien a pair of sunglasses. "Now, put on a good bogey and let loose!"
Anything for M'lady, Adrien thought, but as he and Plagg danced and were silly, he loosened up.
"Wow, your quite the dancer!" A sweet and familiar voice said. Uh-oh, that was Bugaboo! Luckily, Plagg had ducked out of sight.
"Hi-hi, Ladybug!" Adrien stammered. "Having a jam session?" she asked, her eyes bright and playful. Adrien turned scarlet. "Actually, I was going to show you my dancing skills, but I just felt off! So, a friend of mine suggested I loosen up and here we are!" "I thought you looked great. After all, dancing is about having fun!"
"Thanks, Ladybug. Now, take a seat while I put on my dancing shoes!"
This could very right or very wrong, Adrien thought as he cued up the music. But as he started, he remember her words, dancing is fun!
"Wow, that was great!" "Glad you enjoyed it. Would you like to dance with me, Ladybug?" she smiled. "Only if we can boogie-oogie!" Oh, this girl had captured his heart. "Let's boogie on!"
