Flames shot all around smoke as black as the night itself soared into the sky the princess's fearful eyes twitched in horror the scenario from almost three years ago is being replayed before her eyes a demon is attacking the kingdom ravaging and burning buildings, the people hopelessly ran rampant but alas it was to no avail "Where is the Dragon ball?"
The beast wheezed a two headed hound it opened it's mouth shooting beams taking down and killing unfortunate victims in its wake "AHHH!"
The desperate screams of agony were too much for the young princess to bear as she cradled into a ball shutting her teary eyes and covering her ears 'Someone please save me.'
With that final thought all the screams and terror subsided and pitch blackness was all she could see.

"Move find any survivors!" commanded a man watching the ravaged village though the sun was shinning brightly giving hope the burned down city provides a rather bittersweet atmosphere.
Three days ago this village was attacked by a demon it was not out of the ordinary for this place after all it was called Goblin village due to being an easy target for demons however almost three years ago they were dealt with by an unknown induvial that saved the princess from an arranged marriage to one of those demons, since then the village had experienced piece until now many fighters or those with fighting potential around the world are being targeted and killed by new demons that came from where anyone would know "Someone is here!"
The commander turned to meet the man carrying in his arms a little girl with black coals all over her and unconscious "Anyone else?"
The soldier shook his head "She's the only one we found."
"Take her in we'll question her" the soldier nodded taking her to a medical tent were a group of medics had immediately began cleaning the coal out of her face and forcing water down her throat, her eyes twitched before she pushed the water away coughing.
"Are you awake?" the doctor asked the girl only nodded lazily "What's your name?"
"Misa" the girl answered in a toned down defeated whisper.
"Misa do you remember anything that happened here?"
Misa's mouth quivered clutching her kneed "Demon attack*Hick* everyone mom and dad."
Misa choked as she buried her face unto the ground whaling unlike last time no one came to save the day not that monkey tailed boy or anyone for that matter she was alone now, a pat found itself on her back calming her somewhat she turned around meeting the eyes of a girl of similar age with long black hair and matching eyes wearing a blue armour "There, there Misa right?"
Misa nodded sniffing a bit before she turned to her comforter "You are?"
"Chichi daughter of the Ox King" the girl introduced herself, she held Misa by her hands getting her up to her feet "C'mon let's take a walk."
The two girls left the medical camp and circled around the nearby forest left untouched by the monstrosity that attacked Misa's village allowing a calmer scenery in the face of this chaos, as they walked around the duo saw the many animals still disturbed and fearful over what had occurred in the human settlement to reach to them "Feeling better Misa?"
"I think so" Misa answered with a sigh her eyes watering again "I just wish he was here, he would have saved me like last time."
Chichi turned to her curious at the prospect that someone can face that demon head on "Who could possibly defeat a demon?"
"I never got his name but he had a monkey tail and very messy hair" Misa recalled as she played with her own hair to describe her saviour.
Chichi placed a finger under her mouth this description had reminded her of someone else someone she hadn't seen in three years "He sounds strong."
Misa nodded "He is when I was kidnapped by demons he came in and beated them up."
Chichi giggled thankful to see new life and light come to Misa uplifting her mood.
*Swish
The bushes around the two girls rustled Misa panicked while Chichi stood in front of her "HOWL!"
A giant wolf lunged at the two girl's but Chichi managed to land an uppercut to the beast sending it afar.
*SWISH
The rustling of the bushes got harder as more wolves came out and surrounded the two girls Misa panicked but Chichi remained firm, one brave wolf rushed at Chichi who ducked and elbowed the beasts belly sending it flying to his partner two wolves ran in hoping to overwhelm the human child with numbers but Chichi ducked and tripped their feet before she grabbed their and began swinging them around in circles throwing them at the rest of the pack that panicked and ran off "Fueh that will show them."
Chichi dusted her hands and legs once all the wolves had scrambled away, Misa was in awe at she witnessed slowly approaching Chichi "Hey Chichi how were able to do that?"
"You mean the fighting?" Misa nodded "Well my dad learned under someone called the Turtle hermit who is said to be the strongest martial artists in the world and I wanted to learn though dad was against it at first he agreed and taught me some moves, I wish to one day meet someone again and show them how strong I am now."
Misa gripped her hands at how useless she was once again she needed saving, envious of Chichi's prowess didn't even describe it perfectly she wanted to find that demon and make him pay to make him cry out and whimper in fear like how Chichi did with these wolves "Chichi can you teach me some martial arts?"
Chichi turned her head to side oblivious to Misa's inter turmoil "Sure I don't see why not."

Thanks to befriending Chichi as well as her status as a princess Misa was located to Ox King's castle as a temporary home weather her village when rebuilt get annexed or not is yet to be debated but one thing was clear in Misa's mind she wanted to find that two headed demon dog and kill it for that end she now stands before Chichi both girl wearing martial arts gi "Alright to begin we need to set a schedule a path to martial arts is by good training, eating and resting so we'll get up in the early hours of dawn to train then eat lunch after some studying and finally rest clear?"
"Yes."
"Then let's get started!" Chichi cheered as the duo of young girls reached the castle's courtyard where a gardener was waiting smiling upon seeing the princess.
"Chichi here for the morning routine?"
"You bet and I got a partner for now Misa the princess of goblin village" Chichi introduced her new partner.
"Nice to meet you sir" Misa bowed lightly.
The gardener grabbed two packs of water bottles "This's today's patch."
Misa narrowed her eyes at the bag and then Chichi "What are we supposed to do with this?"
"Water the plants obviously" Chichi answered as she pointed at the numerous plantations "Their so wide and many that we got to give them water for growth and at a set time."
"What does this have to do with training?" Misa demanded.
"Dad and his partner were delivering milk to people as part of their training but we can't emulate that here so instead we water plants" Chichi explained again oblivious to Misa's inner turmoil.
"That's not what I mean! Teach moves!" the turmoil couldn't be contained internally any longer as Misa finally snapped.
Chichi shook her head "You need strength first how can you bend your Ki when it's in such low amounts, if you do that you'll die from exhaustion and loss of life energy."
Misa despite her anger caught on wat Chichi is saying "Ki?"
"It's the energy of life all things humans, animals and demons have them some can manipulate their Ki to make powerful attacks" Chichi explained "To achieve that end one must amplify the amount of Ki their bodies possess training is the first and foremost method, the Turtle hermit's training regime is specifically made to increase the amount of Ki in safe ways that'll not have our bodies be destroyed from inside out by the excess amounts that wish to escape."
Misa begrudgingly nodded "Very well."
Chichi smiled "Good then let's get started!"
The girls ran about watering the plants in the vast garden emulating the Turtle hermit's method of a set time along with walk patterns and collecting empty bottles that were set there.
Next they swam in the nearby lake which some lamprey called it home that tried to latch on to the girls to drink their blood.
After that they cleaned up the massive ball room not leaving a single dust to prosper before ultimately taking a break for some learning followed by some much needed delicious lunch then a nab.
At long last the two girls laid in their now shared bedroom Chichi laying in her own bed whilst Misa had a futon next to her "Chichi how long will we continue doing this?"
"For as long as we can."
Misa turned around in her futon with a grump determined to continue "Fine but I better get those moves soon."
"Misa why do you want to learn martial arts?"
The brunette didn't even turn to meet her roommate "I just…nothing."
Chichi turned in her own bed "Sorry if this's private."
Misa remained silent as she gazed at the window of the bedroom the night was calm just when the attack happened, just when she was captured that time demons always come when humans feel safe just to shatter their peace of mind for personnel gain of chaos.
A/N: Done, this's a story that I wanted to do when I first signed up in this site being based on Dragon Ball Divergence by TokiNabi where Chichi is more active in the storyline but the story stopped at the beginning of the Namek arc but like the original author I dropped the idea for some reason but now I can finally get myself to do it first starting this story as part of a request by someone from this sight that wanted a story based on Misa fighting a demon so the beginning will be a bit slow to some before we can get to the Z portion.
