Kai and Raya are surrounded by Dorama and the stagehands.

"So you see, Ninja, there is nothing you can acquire that I cannot confiscate. And yet, to think of all that I, your humble narrator, had to overcome. Why, the dangers, the hardship, the drama I have personally endured."-

"Egotistical villain monologues are always boring." Kai cuts in.

"And this one is super boring." Raya added. "Forget your speech circus clown."

"You know what's not boring?" Kai asked as he and Raya leap to their feet.

"Fireballs!" Wyldfyre yells as she runs in, surprising the Smiths and Dorama as the wild girl lands in between the good and the bad. Shaking his head to clear it, Kai throws a fireball as Wyldfyre throws her element. But Dorama uses his staff to absorbs the attack.

"Hey! No fair!" Wyldfyre yells.

"Of course it's fair! Absorbing exotic energy is my true dramatic gift, you two-bit player. It's why my patron of the arts, the Good Empress Beatrix recruited me in the first place. And so, I dedicate this Core to her!" Dorama holds up the Dragon Core like it was displayed in a showroom, his stagehands applaud.

"And here I always believed your Grandpa Chen was the dramatic one." Kai told Raya.

"You always said he was. And mom and Lloyd's dad both confirmed it."

"I wish he was still alive so I can compare grandpa and Dorama for myself." Raya pouts.

"Also, I want to thank my many fans." Dorama continued. "Now, because of me, we will have the Dragon Energy Core forever!"

Suddenly the Lava Tide leader appears to steal the Core back. "Yoink!"

"No Core for you! No Core for you!" The Lava Tides chant as they run away, leaving Dorama baffled.

"Was I just robbed by a troupe of waddling fire philistines? After them!" He and his stagehands chase after the Lava Tides.

Kari turns to Raya. "We have to get that Core first!" He turns to Wyldfyre. "As for you! I told you to never come back."

"I would like to redeem myself and prove to you that I do care for others instead of my power."

"Pfft." Kai folds his arms. "Maybe I don't trust you anymore after what you did to my daughter!"

"Please Kai." Wyldfyre begged. "Let me show you." She looks at Raya. "I am sorry I turned my power on you. Kai has every right to be angry with me."

"Fine, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt." Kai growls at her, grabbing Raya. "We gotta get that Core before circus freak does!"

Both sides chase the Lava Tides, when Dorama tries to tackle the leader, she launches the Dragon Core to another Lava Tide.

"Keep away!"

Raya and Wyldfyre block a Lava Tide. "Cores are for winners! No Core!" The Lava Tide launches the Core away when both teens jump for the Dragon Core.

"Come on you pests!" Raya complains as the Lava Tides play Keep Away with the Dragon Core. "Give us Ninja the Dragon Core!"

"How are these things so fast?" Dorama complained.

The Lava Tide Leader soon finds herself sliding to a stop as she's cornered and Kai comes up behind her.

"Gotcha!"

"Or do you? We launch the flaming boulders if you say 'what'."

"What?"

"Ha! You said it!" The leader gloated, pleased she tricked Kai into saying it, she looks up at a Lava Tide. "You! Launch the flaming boulders! Our final defense system!"

A gong struck and suddenly flaming boulders are raining down on everything.

"Flaming boulders?" Wyldfyre asks, then throws her arms up. "Awesome!"

"Back when the world was normal, I definitely would have agreed." Raya said as Kai backflips out of the way of a flaming boulder.

"I know you think this is a game." He said as everyone ran from the threats. "But we need that Dragon Core to save the world!" He told the Lava Tide Leader, making the creature laugh.

"You expect me to believe that annoying girl you're with is gonna save the world? Ha! Give me a break."

"One break coming up!" Wyldfyre said as she runs over and takes the Dragon Core.

"Aww, come on!" The Lava Leader complained.

"Wyldfyre, pass!" Kai yells, waving his arms as she runs with the Dragon Core.

"Yeah right! You're just gonna lost it again!" She's suddenly drenched with water, as Raya races in and snatches the Dragon Core.

"Yes! I do have my mom's element!" Raya exclaimed, until Dorama uses his staff to trip her and one of his stagehands grabs the Dragon Core.

"Haha! The second act plot twist! Gets them every time." He gloats, while behind him the Lava Tides tackle the stagehand and the Dragon Core bounces and rolls away.

"Yes! Classic prank."

"It is." Wyldfyre said as she picks herself, still drenched with water. "It really is!" She runs after the Core, shoving Dorama out of the way.

"After that Dragon Core!" Raya yells.

Soon everyone runs after the Dragon Core. But the lava Tide leader grabs it and escapes up a wall. Dorama shoots his staff at the leader but misses.

"You had better run! I am well versed in all types of stage combat!"

"A circus stage is a lot more different then combat, you glitter puff!" Raya yells at him chasing after him, Kai is on the other side of her.

"I'm still waiting for you redemption arch!" He told Wylefyre. "Where the hell is it!? And next time, pass the Core!"

"Passing is for teams, and teams are for people too weak to work alone!"

"Then you should've never came back!" Raya tackles Wyldfyre to the ground. "Garmadon has more class and dignity then you!" She pushes Wyldfyre more into the ground before bouncing up and running after the Dragon Core.

"I wish Skylor or Nya were here." Kai whined. "I know I can trust my girls!" He chases after Raya.

Dorama uses his staff to fly after the Lava Tide leader and lands in front of her. "Prepare for my standing ovation!"

The Lava Tide leader launches the Dragon Core back down below as another game of Keep Away is back.

The Lava Tide leader leaps back down as she catches the Dragon Core. "Ha! Totally planned!" She laughs.

Wyldfyre lands in front of the leader. "I'm tired of these games." She conjures her Heat as everyone regroups behind her. "Eat Fire!"

"Wyldfyre, no!" Kai yells.

"And she's not listening. Again." Raya said deadpanned as Wyldfyre throws her element at the laughing Lava Tide, the heat its the mouth making the Lava Tide leader grow, Wyldfyre pauses for a split moment before throwing more heat, creating the Lava Tide leader to grow even bigger. "Wyldfyre! Stop!"

"Oh." The Lava Tide leader is now pretty large. "I mean, still part of the plan!" She laughs.

"I wish Cole was here to knock that golem back down to size." Raya said.

"Uh." Wyldfyre said nervously as her power goes out. "My flames always stop enemies."

Kai took a step forward. "I wouldn't say always."

"Yes always!" Wyldfyre yells, glaring at him.

"No! Not always!" Raya yells back.

Soon the Lava Tide leader looms over everyone. "Crushing you will be my greatest practical joke!" She laughs.

"No Core for you!" The Lava Tides all chant again. "No Core for you!"

"Don't you pin heads get it!" Raya yells. "The whole world is at stake! Everybody's lives are at on hooks!"

"You!" The Lava Tide reaches down and grabs Raya.

"RAYA!" Kai screams. "Let go of my daughter, right now you ball of gas!" His hands turn to flames as he turns to Wyldfyre. "Don't you ever think before you act!?" He shoots his fire at the leader, who yelps and drops Raya.

"Why would I do that?" Wyldfyre questions Kai as Raya runs over to her father.

Dorama and his stagehands run up to the Lava Tide leader. "Cease your advance! I, Dorama, two time winner of the Ninjago City Stage Actor Union's, Certificate of Honorable Mention, do hereby." He doesn't get to finish as he and his stagehands are blasted away by the Lava Tide leader. "Alas, I have been disrespected."

"Dad, we can use Flame right about now!" Raya cried before she, Kai and Wyldfyre are chased into a dead end.

Wyldfyre turns to Kai. "Why would you lead us here?"

"What?" He turns to her. "You were in front!"

The Lava Tide leader looms towards them. "Nowhere to run." She taunts. "Nowhere to hide! Prepare to."- She's suddenly tackled to the ground by Heatwave and the Dragon Core flies away and lands in Raya's arms.

"YES!" She cheers.

"Oh yeah! That's my family!" Wyldfyre gloats, jumping up and down as Heatwave battles the Lava Tide leader, before getting injured.

"Flame, help him!" Kai yells, throwing out his element and his dragon comes out and helps in fighting the Lava Tide leader.

Both dragons team up to fight the Lava Tide leader, Heatwave uses his tail to smack the Lava Tide leader towards Flame, who in turn uses his tail to smack the Lava Tide leader back and into a wall. Both dragons run to the Ninja.

"Flame, good boy!" Raya praised as she and Kai leap up on Flame. "And you too Heatwave."

Heatwave lets out a mournful roar as he takes to the sky with Wyldfyre on his back.

"See ya, losers!" Wyldfyre tells the Lava Tides.

In the Wyldness, Heatwave crash lands on a cliff.

"I can't believe it." Kai said as he and Raya jump off Flame, who disappears. "We finally have the Dragon Core."

His smile disappears when Heatwave collapses.

"Heatwave's hurt!" Wyldfyre cries as she rests her hands on the dragon's leg. "We have to help him!"
