The first kiss of many more (to come)
Her hand in hers, warm, unleashing a small fire that soon spreads through her veins warming up her body and daring the cold freezing air blowing and lashing at them merciless.
A giggle escapes the lips of the burgundy haired girl beside her as her grasp around her hand tightens, pulling her closer as they slip through a little patch of ice on the timid cleared path in between the copious snow surrounding them.
An enamored smile spreads across Yoshiko's lips, her heartstrings being pulled with such a melodious sound, before she does her best to keep them steady going through the white landscape around them towards a hidden clearing that Riko loves.
The blue haired girl then feels her heart fluttering with love as they come to a stop and notices the girl beside her gazing up at the night sky, the full moon blessing them in such a special night illuminating the pianist's features breathtakingly, magically even, before the first explosion resounds in the air.
A mix of colors spark Riko's golden eyes, and Yoshiko finds herself unable to gaze at the sky and watch such a marvelous show when she can get lost in her girlfriend's mesmerizing eyes instead, her breath caught in her throat admiring it.
A soft smile draws on Riko's lips watching the fireworks in wonder, and Yoshiko can't help but fall even more in love with her than she already is, squeezing her girlfriend's hand in return to find herself getting lost once again in a pair of sparkling golden eyes and a sweet smile.
- Happy New Year, Yocchan.
Riko whispers coyly, a light blush dusting her cheeks that could compete with the beauty of the fireworks going off above them.
- Happy New Year, Riri.
Yoshiko whispers equally soft afraid of breaking the magical spell they seem to be under, cupping Riko's cheeks ever so feathery feeling their cold against her now warm hands, before they shorten their small distance to share a sweet tender kiss with the colorful fireworks still going off above them.
The first kiss of many more that will surely come through the New Year.
