Having settled the other matters, Optimus made his way back to his room. He was pleased to see that Lancex was now awake and sitting on the bed. Optimus could see that Lancex was loving things as the bot smiled while Predaking sat next to Lancex, cuddling and snuggling with the bot. Happy that the other two seemed to be happy, Optimus moved toward the pair and then sat with them, and the trio talked.
"Lancex, Predaking and I need to talk to you and it is important" Optimus softly explained and Predaking nodded.
With a bit of trepidation, Lancex nodded and then said, "okay, what did you two need to talk to me about?"
"What would you think about being in a relationship with Predaking and I?" Optimus asked, hopeful.
"Why would you two want me?" Lancex asked, clearly stunned at the what the question was asking of him. Optimus and Predaking sighed sadly at hearing that, wishing the confidence that Lancex displayed while fighting was also in his love life.
"Lancex, ever since you appeared with the Autobots, I have felt drawn to you. I don't care if you are submissive or not, prince or not. You deserve to be loved for who you are, regardless, and I love you for who you are and would love nothing more than to prove it to you if given a chance" Optimus explained. Lancex looked to Optimus. "Even when we went to Eos, I still felt the same. It made no difference which world we were in."
Lancex was processing what Optimus said, and was in shock when Predaking added, "Much like Optimus, I fell for you as well ever since I met you, and fell for you even harder when you saved me by using the truth. You are wise, smart, brave, caring, and cute. I have never had a mate or a lover before, but I want you and no one else. Like Optimus, I ask for a chance to prove myself to you."
As Lancex processed all of this, Optimus and Predaking both piped up, saying and slightly begging, "All we ask is that you give us a chance to court you, please." Lancex had to think for a moment, did he really want this…or not. The answer could have wide ranging ramifications for them and all bots, especially the three now here.
