The sky is rather dark despite the morning coming in to brighten the darkness black clouds swirled in the sky, they came from the smoke left behind by the fire which engulfed the castle and the kingdom last night.
"HERE!" a guard shouted many of them going about trying to save as much as they can from the destruction of last night's incident trying to find a glimmer of small hope in this tragedy that befallen them on their soils to their loved ones, many homes and families were in grief over their losses the demon's rampage and search for their king left a trail of untold destruction behind.
Within the walls of the castle Chichi and Misa sat next to the giant bed which had the corpse of Ox King laying on it "Princess you should eat something."
The sorrowful servant whispered to Chichi who didn't respond simply holding the hand of her father his warmth could no longer be felt his strength can no longer be called upon for help and assurance which she needs now more than ever "Princess?"
"Go" whispered the sorrowful Misa to the servant who nodded and left the two girls next to the giant corpse, swallowing her lump and sighing weakly "Chichi I'll go and find it."
Chichi's eyes widened for the first time this morning "Misa you-"
"It's my fault I should have listened to you and ran but instead I wanted revenge and had you lose your father" Misa whimpered before she continued "I need to fight that monster not only for my village and family but also to make up for what I did here, bye."
Misa ran off from the room prompting Chichi to get off and chase after her "Misa!"
She was ignored as the girl continued running and running through the halls and out in the gate as Chichi tried her best to follow her both girls reaching the wilderness but the denseness of the trees got the better of Chichi who eventually fell on her knees panting having lost track of her friend "Misa!"
She called for her but only the terrified critters of the forest answered her, forcing herself up Chichi navigated her way through the dense forest trees with no clear way on her mind she kept on and on before her body could no longer follow her and she collapsed unto the dirt.
*Rustle
The bushes moved the wind roared hitting the weak and fragile branches "Rah."
Looking up Chichi was surrounded by hungry wolves most than likely not finding prey for days on end thanks to the destruction left behind by Bagpipes, they opened their maws letting their saliva fall unto the ground as their leader roared and lunged towards Chichi before he was hit back by a servant "Princess."
The wolves growled as they began to circle and jump sideways in an attempt to lose their chaser but he was able to see through and took down every wolf that attempted to lung seeing no way to victory the canines growled before disappearing into the bushes with sad eyes "Princess where are you going? Do you realize the dangers not only from these wolves but the-"
"Misa had gone missing!" Chichi immediately yelled shutting the man who simply bowed his head.
"I understand but right now our people need help, they need hope that everything will return to peace and they can't do that without a symbol of their land being you" he lifted his head a bit and stared her in the eyes when he spoke the last bit of her being a symbol.
Chichi looked over herself true the Ox King is her father she is his one and only heir of this mountainous Kingdom but she's nowhere as strong as he is, though he taught her what he learned from Turtle Hermit Roshi it still wasn't enough that beast came into her home and killed her father when he attempted to protect her and Misa.
Her tears dropped unto her trembling fists and unto the ground at her own helplessness how can she ever stand next to that person and complete the vow they took if she is unable to protect her father "Princess it's time to return."
He grabbed her hands and guided her out of the forest and back into the castle were many worried servants spoke of their pleasure for her safety but she remained unresponsive still complementing her revelations 'Misa where did you go?'

Scorched the village looked abandoned like a lost civilization recently discovered by archaeologists her home "I'm sorry Chichi but I am an avenger after all."
Misa left the village making her vow as she looked over the piece of paper she came across being an old worn out advertisement of the recently held 22nd world's martial arts tournament won by Tienshinhan student of the Crane Hermit, many of the people that competed there were already targeted and killed by the demons but a small amount of them still remain determined to defeat the demons and she was going to join them.
Using the signs she began her long journey on foot her body could only listen to her heart hoping it'll not drag her down the road when she reaches the destination, the morning's sun turned to noon as she left behind her ruined village.
*FLAP
Her ears picked up looking around she noticed that she was alone no critters or birds making a sound, she quivers as her fear settled in.
*FLAP
There it was again looking up she saw a demon, humanoid with wings on its back green scales covering it's skin and yellow eyes wearing a black gi pants held by an orange belt "What do we have here?"
The demon descended landing in front of Misa who took a stance but her fear made her body shake unable to keep the stance in place, the demon noticed as it spat "King Piccolo has nothing to fear anymore aside from that old geezer the remaining fighters are all cowards."
He then closed the distance and smacked Misa letting her roll on the ground with blood gushing out of her throat and a cut on her forehead, the demon stood before Misa rising it's claw ready to end this.
Misa averted her gaze and closed her eyes preparing for the end to come "Wolf fang fist!"
"GAH!" the demon as his voice turned distant bravely Misa opened one eye to see a young man with long black hair styled in a ponytail stand before her, he helped her up to her feet.
"Are you alright miss?" Misa weakly nodded as the demon roared reminding them of his presence looking over to the roar Misa was shaken to see the monster flapping it's wings as it dived towards them, the young man took hold of her before he narrowly dodged with a cut on his cheek forming.
The demon clutched it's fist as it rushed at them with the young man throwing her upwards standing his ground as he threw a punch of his own "Wolf fang fist!"
The demon's punch overpowered the young man's "AH!"
He fell back as he held his bloodied hand, the demon smirked ready to cut him as Misa was recovering she felt helpless as another would die for her sake "YAMCHA!"
Someone yelled as a gun was fired hitting the beast on its ear making it bleed, the demon turned to see who shot him being a young woman with blonde hair accompanied by another young woman with blue hair in addition to a small Pig and a flying blue cat, the demon roared as it was about to lunge at her but suddenly stopped looking up to the sky prompting the other's to do so as well but other than the black clouds nothing else was there.
*FLAP
The demon flapped its wings and flew away without giving them as much as a second glance, Misa's knees given up and allowed the girl to fall gathering her breaths clutching her chest to ease her beating heart.
It happened again she was helpless before this monster similarly to what happened to her village and Chichi's home she was a burden she should have died alongside her family and friends that day after all she was "Are you okay?"
The question interrupted her plane of through as she turned getting reminded of the group that came to her rescue "Y-yes."
"Are you from around here?" the blue haired girl asked.
"No I'm from somewhere else I was going to the city" Misa answered.
"Well the city is too dangerous now so it's best for us to go to the burning mountain" the blue haired girl said "I'm Bulma this here is Launch."
She gestured to the gun wielding blonde "This's Oolong and Puar."
She introduced the Pig and Cat "Here is Yamcha."
Finally she introduced the young man that saved her "Yo."
"Thank you for saving me but I must be off" Misa tried to leave but eh blonde haired woman caught her from behind the collar.
"Yeah not happening girly have you seen that monster?" Launch asked as she pulled Misa back to face her "It's too dangerous for a little girl like you come with us and you'll be safe."
Misa wished to decline their offer not wanting to bring harm upon them like she did with Chichi but even alone she stands no chance "Okay."
Bulma beamed with a smile as she took lead and everyone followed her taking their seats on a giant tracker before she drove them in the opposite direction of where Misa was headed "Um where are we going?"
"The Ox King's castle" Oolong answered, Misa's eyes widened as she bit her sleeve in guilt.
"Can't we go somewhere else?" Misa quickly asked.
"I'm afraid not" Launch answered "Right now many of the best fighters are being killed off two of our own already had fallen and Ox King is one of the best."
"Well he's the best we know of as of now but we got no other choice" Bulma cleared.
"Um" Misa bit her sleeve again trying to dissuade the strangers from taking her back to where she ran off from.
"Don't worry kid" Oolong slapped her back giving her a smile "I was scared of Ox King at first like you thinking he's a man or in my case a pig eating monster but he's a gentle giant after all."
"He might also be out best choice at finding Goku" Bulma followed.
"Goku?" Misa risen an eyebrow finding the name familiar as if it came to her before.
"Yep he might be a kid but he's the strongest guy I know of" Bulma spoke proudly.
"You also want to take your radar back from him" Yamcha spoke up making Bulma tighten her hands on the steering wheel.
"That too besides we need the Dragon Balls to revive everyone those creeps killed" Bulma swallowed a lump on her throat.
"Revive?" Misa whispered like a mouse taking its last breaths.
"Yes we can use the Dragon Balls to revive everyone that died at the hands of those monsters" Puar answered.
Misa's eyes brightened for the first time this morning not only can she have her father and fellow villagers back but Chichi can have her father back as well, clutching her hands with new found determination Misa smiled "There is hope."
"Yeah we just ought to get to Ox King's castle first" Launch kicked the driver's seat angering Bulma "So get on with it!"

The drive was long not was the road quite stretchy but Misa's guilt made it longer what is she supposed to do when she sees Chichi again?
The prospect of reviving Ox King and those that fell to that monster is a beautiful fantasy but will she believe her?
Misa herself can't truly bring herself believe these Dragon Balls can do that but it appears these strangers do and they won't leave her to the city out of the goodness of their heart "Halt!"
The tracker did so as Bulma lowered her window allowing the man to take a good look at them "State your business for being here?"
"I'm Bulma Briefs we're here to talk to the Ox King" the guards head was low when this sentence was spoken shaking Bulma "Um sir?"
"Ox King is dead" the guard revealed shocking Bulma and the other's.
"What that can't be?" Oolong cried "Please tell me your joking."
"I'm afraid not a giant two headed hound monster attacked the castle last night and killed many including the Ox King" the guard affirmed.
"Oh no they got to him too" Yamcha clutched his hands in rage.
"Hey wise guy did a guy named Goku come through here?" Launch asked.
The guard shook his head again "Can you describe him?"
"He's a little boy with spikey hair and a monkey tail he was friends with Chichi" Puar answered.
"The young master unfortunately we haven't seen or heard of him in a very long time" the guard answered.
Bulma's lip quavered they came all this way for nothing no Goku to be found and no Ox King to help them out, the guard looked inside the tracker taking in the frustration of the group until he saw someone familiar "Misa?"
Misa turned away at being called "Who?"
"Your Misa the girl Ox King took in we were informed you ran away and to keep our eyes out for you" the guard answered ruining Misa's attempt to play dumb, soon enough everyone's eyes were on her.
"You ran away from here?" Launch asked.
"Why didn't you tell us Ox King is dead?" Oolong demanded.
"Settle down you two Misa obviously distressed so let's not make it harder" Puar flew to her defence.
"It's my fault" Misa said in a defeated whisper "The monster came for Ox King but I wanted revenge and caused his death, I tagged along believing we can undo this with those things you mentioned."
Bulma took a deep breath before turning to Misa "It's okay we'll bring Ox King and everyone back we just need to find Goku and my dragon radar so be at ease."
"It appears you came a long way strangers so why not lodge in here for a bit?" the guard told them with Bulma nodding and continuing to drive into the castle district seeing the destruction of last night's attack not even the fires she saw back then could cause this much suffering, once she parked the group left the vehicle with Misa being last confronting what she left behind her.
"Misa?" she followed the voice finding none other than Chichi.
"I-" before Misa could utter more Chichi hugged her.
"I'm glad your okay" Misa wailed as tears descended down her cheeks as the two girls embraced.

"First Cymbal and now Tambourine!" the aged Piccolo seethed in rage.
"Lord Piccolo the Dragon Balls are now complete just summon the Dragon and wish for eternal life and youth, with all of these threats gone you shall reign supreme over the globe once more" Piano assured his master.
Piccolo looked towards Piano "Very well but go and find Bagpipes to destroy the target I had Tambourine follow last thing I need is another Hermit."
"As you wish master Piccolo" the Pterodactyl headed monster bowed as he followed after his master to summon the Dragon created by Piccolo's good counterpart.
"Shenron come forth and grant me my wish!" the sky turned dark as lightning shot from the Dragon Balls transforming into a giant green serpent like dragon.
Piccolo's disgusting aged lips transformed into a smile as he laughed "Now my reign shall be eternal."
A/N: Well after the death of Ox King in the last chapter we now prepare for the end of classic Dragon Ball as after the next chapter which focuses on the group in Ox King's castle final battle with Bagpipes and Piano will be the time skip for a pre Z chapter focusing on the formation of the Son family, I believe the Piccolo Jr arc will be the same as canon so I might skip it and just allude to it and even if I feel like doing some of it it'll be the Chichi and Goku fight along with proposal and even then I feel like not doing it so what do you guys think?
