Day 1, 3:00PM
MAJOR HOUSE - MAJOR A ROOM
Everyone in the room seems to be doing their own thing. Beatrice and May were chatting with each other on May's bunk, Nash was asleep on the couch (and his cowboy hat didn't fall off, surprisingly), Antoinette was busy listening to music from her phone, Arreis reading a book below her, and Colin and Ryder were surprisingly not in the room.
The camera secretly pans to Beatrice and May, who were giggling.
"You have twin siblings? How cute!" May squealed as she clutched a white pillow from her bed.
"Yeah, I wanted to win the show just for them. Diane and Cassius are too young to take care of themselves, and of course they need my help." Beatrice added with a sad smile.
"Well… where are your parents?" May asked, with a frown on her face and laid down on her pillow.
"Um… my mother died when she gave birth to the twins. I'm not really on good terms with my father…" the timid girl admitted sadly.
"Oh… I'm sorry, I didn't mean to-"
"It's fine, May. That was a long time ago." Beatrice assured the small girl with a smile. "I don't really think about it that much anymore, so it's fine, really. Besides, I'm currently residing in my grandparents' house."
"...T-that's good to hear." May smiled a little to Beatrice. "Well, I've always wanted to perform on Broadway. My parents were actors from Broadway… I want to follow their footsteps and reach those stages!"
"You go girl! If you ever perform on Broadway, save me a VIP ticket so I can visit you backstage!" Beatrice giggled.
"Aww, thanks! If ever that happens, bring the twins with you so I can meet them!" May squealed.
"Of course!"
The camera then switches to Arreis, whose bunk is on the opposite side from May's and Beatrice's bunk.
It showed her reading a book. It looks as if she was really into the book, considering it was a mystery novel.
"Can't keep my hands to myself~" sang a voice from above her. "I want it all and nothing else~"
Arreis squinted her eyes for a moment, since she was disturbed from her reading. She then stepped out of her bunk and noticed that Antoinette was singing a song she was listening to from her phone through her earphones.
"Hey, Antoinette! Would you pipe your Selena Gomez wannabe-ness down just for a few minutes? I need to finish my book!" Arreis frowned, thus startling the diva.
"Pardon?" Antoinette turned to her as she removed an earpod from her left ear. "Oh. What do you want, Arreis?"
"Keep it down, will you? I'm trying to finish my book!" Arreis huffed as she crossed her arms.
Antoinette climbed down from her bunk and marched up to Arreis with a smug look on her face.
"Honey, this is a musical season. We need to keep up our musical intelligence if we don't want to get eliminated by not following the rules." Antoinette smirked and crossed her arms just like Arreis.
"Oh, for goodness' sake, Antoinette! Who knows what kind of shitshow the hosts are up to!" The veteran spat. She didn't want Antoinette to get into her nerves this time. Right on her mind, she thinks that this lady would be a female version of Sal.
Little they know that Nash was wide awake, standing right in between them.
"Partners, if we don't get along soon, all our efforts would be wasted, for darn toothin'!" Nash stood in between them. He doesn't like fights, as he wasn't even raised to argue with others. But no one except Chris would want to see a fight now, do they?
"Listen, kid." Antoinette turns to him, with obvious anger in her eyes. "We can win even if we don't get along. Just look at how others handle it." She gave a small huff and exited the room with a loud thud in the door.
"Hoo, I don't like having to deal with this old woman." Nash sighed, but Arreis placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Thanks for keeping her away, Nash." She flashed a small smirk. The young cowboy gave her a thumbs-up in response.
"Anytime partner." He smiled.
FRONT YARD
In the front yard of the two houses, the camera pans to Colin and Ryder, who were walking on the way to the theater. Colin was looking around, with a rather depressed emotion, and much to Ryder's concern, the older boy decided to speak up.
"Hey, Colin. If you don't mind me asking, why are you so… dejected? Like, all the time? Well… not to toot your own horn, course. I'm just… curious." Ryder asked, sucking his teeth a bit at his question. He didn't want to give him the feeling that he was intruding him now.
"It's just what I am." Colin shrugged. "Futile, weak, always rejected a lot…"
Ryder took this opportunity to take it into his head and nodded a bit at his response. "Ah, I see… everyone has got into that point of life… I've been like that too. Back when my parents kept on seeking fame from me."
"Your parents are fame mongers?" The younger boy asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Well… yeah. Kinda. I just… don't want to be, y'know, that famous. But I wanted to join this show, so I can get what they want: fame. But then again, I just want to have fun. At least I won't be so constantly pressured by my parents all the time." Ryder explained, taking a deep sigh in the end.
Just before the entrance to the theater, a black, shiny object caught Colin's eye. He nudged Ryder a bit with his elbow and pointed his finger to the bushes.
"I think it's a figurine." Colin pointed out.
"Let's go check it out." Ryder filled his eyes with excitement and ran to the bushes.
When they got there, a small figurine was indeed shining below the bushes. Colin gasped and grabbed it. It was spherical in shape towards the bottom, had a long stem, and had a single tail sticking out from the top that drapes to the bottom of the figurine.
"This isn't the Sixteenth Note, isn't it?" Ryder responded, pointing to the single tail of the figurine. "I mean, the Sixteenth Note has two tails. This one only has one."
"It's an Eighth Note." Colin answered, widening his eyes. "I don't remember the hosts explaining this earlier…"
Ryder bit his lower lip. "Bro, I got a bad feeling about this…"
"What?" Colin asked, turning his head towards Ryder, who had an expression of uncertainty.
"You said the hosts didn't explain this." He pointed out. "So, don't you think that this could be a… Time Signature?"
"Well… we don't know what this is." Colin shrugged and stared at the Eighth Note figurine in what seemed like forever. "...but I'm gonna keep it. It's not like I'll win anyway." He sighs dejectedly and takes it.
Little they know that someone was watching them from the other team...
MAJOR HOUSE - MAJOR B ROOM
"Hey, Adala. What do you think will be the challenge today?" Sami asked, staring at the ceiling that was just right above our bunk.
Adala and Sami were currently the only ones in the room so far. It was probably Zack, Pierre, Carter and Gabe were downstairs, either grabbing a snack or just chilling. Sybil on the other hand, was in the bathroom taking a shower.
"Considering the hosts…" Adala answered who was sitting just on the edge of her bunk. "I think it would be something similar to the first challenge last season."
"No… I don't think so. I thought I heard them say that it has to do something with our facts… so maybe a trivia challenge?" Sami chirped. She was already climbing down from her bunk and gingerly took her seat next to Adala.
"Well… what was your fact?" Adala asked the fandom girl, who was playing with a strand of her velvet hair.
"I told everyone that I was a huge fan of Act I." Sami chuckled sheepishly. "But to tell you the truth, I haven't watched from Episode 11, when the fire broke out. It kinda gave me chills, considering that this was the exact theater that got burned to ashes and was renovated then…" the velvet haired girl shuddered. "From there I knew that chaos would ensue. So I gave up on watching. But then I got so curious so I enlisted myself into this show…"
"You… got guts." Adala smirked, liking Sami's courage. "I mean, who knows how chaotic this season would be compared to the last. Hell, we only saw this coming from our own televisions at home and we're not even one of the veterans like Gabe!"
"You got a point there." Sami chuckled lightly. "Hey, wanna go grab a snack downstairs? The challenge doesn't start until at least after dinner anyway, so we still have a lot of chill time."
"Yeah, good idea. Let's-"
Before Adala could finish, a knock was heard on the door. Sami hollered out a "Come in!" for there's literally nothing these two girls would hide now, right? The door opened to reveal Sybil, who had just finished her shower. She was seen with a bath towel tightly wrapped around her thin form.
"Um, hey guys." She waved a bit sheepishly as she entered the room.
"Hey, weren't you outside?" Sami asked her.
"Yeah, but I just want to cool myself down a bit." Sybil answered her.
"We're gonna go down for some snacks. Wanna come with us when you're done?" Adala asked the other girl.
"Maybe later. I'm gonna go get dressed for a moment if you guys don't mind, hehe." Sybil chuckled nervously.
"I see. See you in a bit!" Sami waved cheerily as she and Adala exited the door, leaving the young actress in the room.
"Oh, where in the world is my bag?" Sybil muttered to herself as she tried to find her bag from her bunk, and even Pierre's bunk.
"Looking for this?" A smug voice was heard right behind her, which made her jump a bit and turned to the source of that voice, only to find the said bunkmate with a white backpack in his hand.
"Pierre! What the- you dare walk in here when you know that someone is not wearing anything but a damn towel?" Sybil yelled at him, her face slightly reddened from the sudden attention.
"I have a proposal to make." The other teen smirked, revealing his dimple on his left cheek.
"What are you planning to make? An alliance? With you? Fuck no!" Sybil argued.
"No? Well, you leave me no choice then." Pierre chuckled a bit and gave the actress her backpack before leaving the room.
"What the hell was that all about…?" Sybil wondered out loud.
MAJOR HOUSE - LIVING ROOM
As stated before, Zack, Carter, and Gabe were indeed in the couches of the living room, chatting to each other with a few snacks seen on the coffee table such as some crackers, three cups of juice, and some ham and cheese sandwiches.
Suddenly, Antoinette was seen storming out of the door, with obvious anger written all over her face, leaving the three speechless. (with Carter practically dropping his cracker to the floor)
"Should we call on the other team to join us? I mean, it would be pretty nice to have the whole Major team… considering that we're safe from elimination…" Gabe jokes.
"Well… I say it's not a bad idea, but considering how Antoinette left, I think we should just let them be for now." Zack sighed. "Gosh, look how many fights are there and we haven't even started the first challenge yet."
"Here comes Adala and Sami." Carter states as the two mentioned girls were indeed approaching them with snacks in their hands. Once everyone was seated, Carter suddenly perked up, earning attention from everyone. "Who are you guys voting off of the Major team if we lose?"
"Pierre obviously." Zack answered without a doubt. "Look how he treats Sybil. He treats her like a submissive baby."
"You have a point there." Gabe nodded. "I don't really like him, judging by his aura. And mind you, I'm not even an aura reader like Dawn!"
"And considering that Antoinette is on Major A, I have no doubt that they'd be voting her off the team. Due to her attitude." Adala pointed out, taking a sip of juice from her cup.
"So, it's a Major B alliance then?" Sami asked before taking a bite of her sandwich.
"I'm voting with you guys just because I have the same opinion as you." Carter deadpanned. "But that doesn't mean that I'll be a part of your alliance."
"Wha- you don't trust us, dude?" Zack widened his eyes.
"It's just day one. Besides, who knows what could happen to anyone." Carter stood and took a hold of the door handle. "But… that doesn't mean we are enemies. We're just… teammates." He added and left the house.
No one spoke a word after what he just said.
"I'm sorry but… he's kind of a strange person, don't you guys think?" Gabe asked everyone currently present in the living room.
"Maybe because of his problem with Mag?" Zack asked.
"...Maybe."
BACKYARD
If there's a front yard, then there's a backyard! Jokes aside, let's follow the camera that zooms into one of the Minor teams.
The camera zooms into Minor A, sitting in the grass of the backyard. Almost everyone in the team was present, with the exception of Rival and Therion.
"I honestly think that it sucks being in Minor." Toxa said as she rested her head in the grass, lying down. "I mean, how come only the Minor teams go to elimination?"
"Well, we can eliminate a Major member if we have an item." Alec pipes up.
Kimmie scrunched up her nose. "This is honestly worse than the Advanced and Noisy Notes back on Act I."
"I'm pretty darn sure that those were used after I got eliminated, considering you went farther than me." Robert smirked back at Kimmie.
"Well… I was three placements higher than you, Robert. Hardly anything happened. Besides, when you and Gabe get eliminated, that's when the acappella side challenges start." Kimmie answered, placing a hand on her forehead. "Jeez, these items are making me frustrated."
Misha was seen walking towards them, only to trip. "Shit." She cursed under her breath and fell over but was loud enough for Mag to hear.
"Um… you okay, Misha?" Mag asked as she lent a hand for Misha to get up in which she gladly took it. "What was that?"
"Yeah, I just tripped on something." The pink haired girl nodded as she got up, noticing a black stick sticking out.
"Let's hope it's not a nail… I don't want you to get leptospirosis." Mag chuckled as she dug a bit under the dirt… only to find a small figurine, which looked like a small top hat that was tilted sideways.
"Bitch!? It's a Half Rest!" Misha widened her eyes and gasped at the figurine Mag was holding. Everyone else rushed up to them, eyes widening and others gasping as they saw the sight of the said item.
"What does that thing do again?" Alec asked, pointing to it.
"If I heard it correctly, I think it allows us to eliminate a player." Kimmie answered. "...but, what if it's actually a Whole Rest? Because… y'know, they kinda look alike?"
Everyone stared at each other, internally freaking out for fifteen seconds before Rival sashayed himself between them.
"Hey guys! Uh… why do you all look like you saw a ghost? Is there even a corpse in here-" Rival asked sheepishly, only causing him to turn his attention to the figurine everyone was all cahoots about as he hissed a bit. "-oh..."
"So… who should keep it?" Toxa asked everyone who was still pretty awestruck by the item they found just before the first challenge.
"I- you… we- Jesus Christ, YOU KEEP IT!" Mag shouted frantically and tossed the figurine to Misha as if it were a burning hot plate. "I'm not here only to get eliminated today by a Time Signature!"
"No fucking way, you found it bitch, so you're keeping this shit!" Misha retaliated loudly, using almost every swear word that pops into her mind and tossed it back at the vengeful girl, only for Alec, who was standing in between them to catch it effortlessly as if it were a handkerchief.
"LADIES!" Alec shouted. "We don't even know if this is a Time Signature or not! We should keep this to ourselves before someone else gets a hold of it, and eliminates us!"
"Well… no offense but… that's literally the smartest thing you said all day." Robert chuckled.
"How's that offensive?" Alec raised an eyebrow.
"If you don't find it offensive, then… you keep it." Robert concluded and walked away from the group, with Alec running after him
"W-wait! What the hell do you mean by that!?" He shouted.
"Um, am I the only one who finds this weird because no one actually wants to keep the item? Hell, it's actually musically powerful." Rival made a pun while asking everyone.
"Nope. You aren't the only one." Toxa answered. "Hey, aren't you with that Therion guy a few minutes ago?"
"Oh, Therion? It's a loooong story…" Rival laughed as he rubbed his hands together.
MUSIMENTAL THEATER - HALLWAYS
Mara was seen in the hallways, walking with Eden. It seems like she was telling a story to her.
"So… yeah, we hooked up and- ah!" Mara gasped as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned around and found Therion standing behind her, grinning from ear to ear. "T-Therion?"
"Roses are red, violets are not really blue, there's only one beautiful girl in here, and that is you." Therion cheekily recites one of his several Roses are Red remakes and hugs Mara. "No offense, Eden."
"None taken! I don't even know why you said that, but it's great to see you again!" Eden smiled as she gave Therion a high five.
"Wait- you two met?" Mara widened her eyes at this sudden revelation.
"Yeah, we competed together in Submerged. It was fun until Sheldon found me in the vents and had everyone against me." The agent girl scoffed as she crossed her arms.
"I didn't do so good there." Therion chuckled.
Eden looked at the two, and finally sighed with relief. "I'm gonna leave you two here for now. I'm gonna check up on the others."
"See ya!" Therion and Mara waved as Eden went off to the other side of the hallways.
Mara sighed a bit and faced Therion. "You know… I've been thinking…"
"Thinking about what?" Therion turned to her, wondering what she was thinking about.
"Is Rival still… mad at me for what I did to him? It's still bothering me up to now… I just… I don't know. It's really unlikely for me to do that, considering I'm also close to Adrian during Wars…" Mara sighed, feeling the urge to cry.
Therion knew this was coming, since she has mental issues so he rubbed the back of her head and hugged her. "Don't worry… he won't. Besides, he'd be happy to see you."
"Happy to see who?" A voice rang out just from behind the two. Therion and Mara turned around, only to find Ulysses standing there with his arms crossed. "So, Mara… this is the guy you've been hooked up for a while, huh?"
"Ulysses? What the hell! I already told you, we're not a thing! And we'll never be a thing!" Mara shouted.
"Dude… wait, Mara, what's this?" Therion asked, widening his eyes from Ulysses to Mara with a shocked expression. "And who's this!?"
"'Sup." Ulysses chuckled. "I'm your worst nightmare, bro."
Ulysses made a grunt before lunging at Therion, with Mara trying to break the two, only to push the poor girl to the side harshly.
"ULYSSES, STOP!"
Ulysses gritted his teeth, looking directly at Dustin, who was running for him.
"Dustin, stay the fuck out of my way!" The bigger male yelled.
"No! You stay the fuck out of other people's lives, you schemer!" The chess player retaliated.
"Fine, if that's what you want." Ulysses made a death glare at all three of them before heading out of the hallways.
"Are you guys okay?" Dustin asked the two, only to wince at the sight of Therion… mad. He then felt like he was intruding so he decided to leave the two and run after Ulysses. The gamer boy on the other hand ran away without answering the question.
"Wait, Therion!" Mara shouted and ran to chase after him.
"Don't you dare talk to me!" Therion shouted in front of Mara as he stomped out of the hallway, leaving Mara helpless. She fell down to her knees and began to sob.
MINOR HOUSE - LIVING ROOM
The camera zoomed into the Major house, where we can see Lyle, Gordon, ELV, and Oli sitting on the couches and chairs. For the four of them, they were all currently on good terms.
"I used to be in the same ballet class as Evander." Lyle chirped and made a small chuckle. "He had a bit of a… let's call it, a balancing problem."
Oli snorted a bit upon hearing this. "Dude, you weren't kidding, considering his build you know. He's kinda buffy once you look at him~"
ELV and Gordon gave him an odd look.
"...and I thought you liked Amanda." ELV added, and placed a pocketbook back in his pocket.
Lyle on the other hand decided to end the awkward situation. "Now now, quit staring at each other! Oh, and ELV, you said you know how to cook, wanna whip up something with me while we wait for the others?"
"Sure." ELV nodded, still keeping a close eye at Oli, in which the awkwardness practically… intensified.
While the two boys were in the kitchen, Gordon turned his attention to ELV's chair, which had a pocketbook on it.
"Huh, ELV must've left it there." Gordon said to himself and grabbed the pocketbook. "Or it could've fallen…"
"Dude, you might wanna return that to him… look how scary he can get…" Oli gulped but gasped a bit when Gordon grabbed his wrist and led him up the bathroom, thankfully, there was no one using it so they shut the door locked and tight.
"Look at this." Gordon showed the pocketbook to Oli. "It says, 'Property of Elvin Armada.' Don't you think it's him?"
"Well… now that you mentioned it… he didn't say his real name earlier… maybe that's him?" Oli added as he rubbed his chin. "Or maybe that's his father… you know the one that he said that consumed crack…"
Gordon made a stern look before opening the notebook. It had several entries written, so he flipped near the end of the notebook and gasped.
"What is it?" Oli asked.
Gordon showed Oli the notebook. The heading said 'plans' on it, and there were five plans written under it.
"Number 1, make an alliance… number 2, vote for anyone in your team who is not in an alliance… dude, this is messed up." Oli gasped loudly.
"I don't know about this, but I think Lyle is in trouble. Who knows, if those two get into an alliance, Lyle could be out sooner than we think." Gordon added.
The two were about to leave the bathroom but heard a knock.
"Hello? Is anyone in there? Gordon?"
"That's Lyle. Get him in here!" Gordon ordered and Oli unlocked the door, revealing the person to be indeed, Lyle. They then urged him to enter the room.
"Wait… you two used the bathroom together?" Lyle asked, widening his eyes.
"Well, no. But do you think ELV could be… scheming against us?" Oli asked him back.
"Don't be such a judgemental person, Gordon! ELV seems like a nice person so far."
"Oh yeah. He's really nice. In fact, he is so nice that he is planning to eliminate us one by one." Gordon snarked sarcastically.
"I won't believe you if you have no pro-"
Gordon sighed dramatically and abruptly gave Lyle the pocketbook.
"Read the final pages of it." Gordon hissed and went out of the bathroom. "Oli, warn the others."
As the two left, Lyle stared at the pocketbook in his hands, processing every piece of possible info that had just been released.
MINOR HOUSE - MINOR B ROOM
In the Minor B room, the camera zooms into the four girls, Janice, Mairead, Arabelle, and Vanessa. Everyone seems to be chilling in their respective bunks, not seemingly making contact with each other, assuming that everyone needs to take a break before the competition.
Mairead got out of her bunk, and went outside the room, only to bump into another veteran, Oli.
"Hi, what's shaking?" the socialite asked.
"Your wig." Oli replied. Mairead just gave him an odd look. "Oh, sorry. Look, Gordon wants us to vote out ELV if we do lose the challenge."
"Hm? What for? You guys can't possibly be judging him around first glance, do you?" Mairead widened her eyes at the sudden decision made by one of her teammates.
"You see…" Oli sighed a bit. "Gordon found something that might have belonged to ELV. I guess curiosity killed the cat in him so he skimmed it and found out that ELV was possibly scheming against us. So he said that we should take wind of it, before it gets worse."
"Well… where's the proof that you were saying?" Mairead asked.
"It's with Lyle. He's currently examining it if it's true." Oli answered.
"But, what if it's not?" The socialite turned to him once again, only to be met with Oli's state of uncertainty.
"...we should still let the rest know. I suggest you go tell the girls then."
Mairead sighed. What if she tried to persuade the other girls and they won't believe and vote her off instead? It felt like she was the one making choices. But, there was no time lost. She went back into the room and took a deep breath.
"Guys…" Mairead bit her lip. "The boys are planning to vote for ELV… that is, if we do lose."
"What for?" Arabelle got off of her bunk and faced her. "How will we know if what you're saying is true?"
"Um, Oli told me. He said that they found something that-"
"You trust Oli?" Arabelle spat. "Come on, he got the first boot last season. What makes you think that he could be trusted? Knowing you, you probably know the reason why he got booted off…"
"You know Mairead, I hate to say this but… I agree with Arabelle. We don't know if this is true or not. It's kind of like… you're spreading a rumor." Janice admitted, not wanting to offend Mairead.
"Wait." Vanessa stood up. "Do you know where Oli got this information?"
"Uh, he and Gordon skimmed through the proof. He said it's with Lyle." Mairead started to sweat bullets. These girls are, in fact, very hard to convince.
"Well, what kind of proof?" Arabelle pressed further.
"H-he never told me that." Mairead shrugged and placed her hands behind her back.
"See? That's where you dip, Mairead. Placing your trust in the wrong people. No wonder why you decided to use Xavier last season." The taller girl crossed her arms.
"Stop it, Arabelle! You haven't done anything here so far but caused mayhem!" Vanessa shouted.
"I did not use him! He was just a friend! Don't ever drag him into this, because he's not even competing anymore!" Mairead fumed.
"I don't care." Arabelle spat before going back to her bunk. Mairead then ran out of the room, her emotions welling up with anger.
Later after dinner, the camera then cuts to the hosts. They were all currently in the auditorium. The camera crew were already in their places, and there was no live audience because, you know, coronavirus issues.
"Good evening everyone!" Don greeted the cameras.
"Last time in Total Drama, we met all thirty contestants, showed them the items for this season, and led them to their houses!" Chris added.
"Chris, that was literally so bland." Blaineley criticized, but turned back to the cameras. "Drama also continues to increase when the teams split. It appears that tensions start to rise between our competitors, and we haven't even started the challenge yet!"
"So tonight, please welcome our competitors!" Brea announced. An applause track was played as all the contestants entered. The curtains opened, and behind these curtains were two sets of long tables faced to each other, as well as sixteen chairs on one side for the Minors and fourteen chairs on the other side for Majors.
"Thus challenge is called," Chef started before the hosts shouted:
"Show Me What You've Got!"
"So basically, this part is a trivia game. I hope you all remember your facts earlier, because this is where they will come into play!" Chef added.
"All of you must pick a representative for each team to compete in every round. Questions about a competitor or pertaining to the previous season will be asked. First person to answer correctly gets a point! Once you have an answer, pressed the red button in front of you!" Brea declared.
"Oh, this will be easy." Adala says as she rubbed her hands.
Once everyone was seated, the hosts then took the wheel once again.
"Welcome to Episode 2 of-"
"TOTAL!"
"DRAMA!"
"ACT II!"
"MUSICAL POWER!"
"Cut to the theme!" Chris ordered.
*Opening Theme #1*
Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine
The camera zooms into the dance practice room where Lyle was practicing his ballet. May and Sami were watching him and applauded as he landed on his plié successfully, while Arabelle on the other hand, watched with disgust.
You're always on my mind
The camera leaves the room and heads to the auditorium where we can see Beatrice masterfully playing the piano until Antoinette sits on the keys smirking, causing several off-key notes being played. Ryder sees this and pushes Antoinette off the piano, causing her to land face first to the floor and Ryder and Beatrice high-fived.
You asked me what I wanted to be
The camera zooms under the high-five and next thing we see is that we are in the bedroom of one of the teams' houses, where Janice was writing in her diary. Toxa was standing right behind her, rubbing her hands as if she had a plan. Toxa then turns back, only to find Misha crossing her arms. On the window however, we can see Pierre trying to get a peek of the girls.
And now I think the answer is plain to see
The camera warps to the other house's living room, where we can see Rival and Therion doing their handshake. Mara is then seen in the window waving at them causing Therion to blush but then scowls when he sees Mara taken away by Ulysses. Both boys however, ignored Alec, who served them a plate of cookies, with a shocked expression on his face.
I wanna be famous
The camera zooms into the cookies and warps to the backstage where we can see Carter and Mag arguing, with Nash trying to break them up, by throwing his lasso at them. Lee on the other hand, freaks out as he sees this, and runs away from them instead of telling them something important.
I wanna live close to the sun
We then get a view of the storage room, where Gordon and Vanessa were looking for something. Colin opens the door, scaring the two, but leaves after that with a downed expression.
Go pack your bags, I've already gone far
The camera then warps again to the dressing room, where we see Adala and Zack comforting Sybil, who looked as if she were crying. It then pans onto ELV on the other side of the room, who happens to pass by and (unintentionally) begins to eavesdrop.
Everything to prove, what can you say?
We now go to the cafeteria where we can see Holly, Evan, and Leticia chatting. Arreis and Kimmie have plates of food in their hand but Kimmie accidentally drops the food on Holly, making her mad. Mairead was on the other table, laughing, while Gabe didn't look too pleased.
I'll be there one day
The camera quickly zooms into a small library where Dustin, Oli, and Robert were playing cards. However Maya comes in and slams the table, causing all cards to fall off, getting glares from the three boys.
'Cause I wanna be famous
The scene then swaps to a camera room, where we can see Brea, Blaineley, Chris, and Chef arguing. Don then arrives and stops everyone but is stopped when Enrique starts scolding them.
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na!
The scene switches to the office room where we can see Chris holding a bunch of papers, then leaves his office with a note that says "NO TRESPASSING" in big red letters.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The first "I wanna be" shows the Sopranos (Janice, Sami, Toxa, Beatrice, Kimmie) against the Tenors (Alec, Colin, Zack, Lyle, Oli). The second "I wanna be" shows the Mezzo-Sopranos (Vanessa, Misha, Adala, May, Mairead) and the Mezzo-Tenors (Gordon, Pierre, Therion, Nash, Robert) shaking hands. The "I wanna be famous" shows the Altos (Arabelle, Antoinette, Mag, Sybil, Arreis) and Basses (Rival, Ryder, Carter, ELV, Gabe) sharing a group hug.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The fourth "I wanna be" shows the four interns standing there with mixed expressions. The fifth "I wanna be" shows the five judges with different reactions from different performances. In the second "I wanna be famous" shows the five hosts crossing their arms with smirks on their faces.
*whistling in tune*
The whole cast can now be seen on the stage, bowing as the audience applauds them loudly. Flowers were being thrown to the stage as the curtain closed, revealing the season's title, "Total Drama Act II: Musical Power" in gold letters. Episode 2: Mon Moi Inconnu
"...You never told me that."
Night 1, 6:00PM
CHALLENGE 1.1: Show Me What You've Got (Location: Auditorium)
"So, what are you guys waiting for? Pick a representative!" Chris says, and everyone huddled up into circles, deciding who's going up against who.
MAJOR A
"Who's going first?" Ryder asked his teammates. "Wait. Who watched all the episodes of Act I?"
"I competed last time, so I obviously know what happened." Arreis piped up.
"I think you should go later, Arreis. Who knows, it's probably just a fact about the others." Beatrice squeaked.
"I'll go first, partners!" Nash volunteered. "Nothing's gonna stop me from that old man for darn toothin'!"
"You mean Chris?" May asked. "Who knows what he could ask."
"Yup."
"What he said." Colin sighed.
"Well that settles it. Get out of here and go break a leg." Antoinette smirked.
MAJOR B
"Sami, you have knowledge from Act I, right?" Zack told her.
"Uhh-" Sami thought before Adala suddenly butted in.
"Uh- no. Not that much. I'll go first." She stood.
"Wait, Adala! I didn't even-"
"She can probably handle it, Sami. Who's gonna get hurt by a single question, anyway?" Carter retorted, sounding a bit bored by this whole ordeal.
"I think we should save Gabe for last. Who knows how trivia-worthy the last question would be." Sybil suggested. Gabe nodded in response.
"Good point, baby." Pierre winked.
"Nice try, hotshot. But two words: fuck you!" Sybil hissed.
Adala (Major B): "This won't be so hard. Right?" She changed into a worried expression. "...Right?"
MINOR A
Alec looked at everyone. "So… should I go first or-?"
"Says the person who has the item on his hands." Misha furrowed her eyebrows but Mag got in front of her and covered her mouth.
"Quiet, Misha! You don't want anyone to find out now, do you!?" she hissed, and then turned her attention to Therion, who appears to look dejected as ever, hell, even more dejected that Colin. "Is he okay?"
"Dude, you alright?" Rival asked, placing his hand on Therion's back.
"Ugh, Rival. Give me some space now, please?" Therion pleaded.
"O...kay…"
Rival (Minor A): "Look, I'm kinda worried about Therion. He hasn't said a single word to me when he came back earlier…" his eyes widened. "This is about Mara, isn't it?"
Kimmie and Robert exchanged glances and both shook their heads no.
"Alright, rock paper scissors and we'll see who gets to do this shit." Toxa smirked and she and Alec did a round of rock paper scissors. Alec got scissors and Toxa got paper. "Well… fuck."
MINOR B
Things are… not so good with this team. Oli, ELV, Lyle, and Gordon were staring at each other intently, and Arabelle was glaring at Mairead.
"Vanessa, we need to do something." Janice panicked. "I don't think we're gonna go far if this ordeal is still going."
"If they're gonna keep that up, so be it." Vanessa stood up.
"What the hell does she think she's doing?" Arabelle folded her arms, snapping out of her glare towards Mairead.
"She's going to do this for us, that's what." Gordon told her.
"Let's just hope that she'll get a point." Lyle sighs.
"We have Nash for Major A, Adala for Major B, Alec for Minor A, and Vanessa for Minor B! Let's see how this will go!" Chris grins, taking a piece for paper from an intern off-camera.
The four mentioned contestants stood up from their chairs as the rest who weren't called sat down.
"Question one: Who among the contestants has schizophrenia?" Blaineley read the paper.
The four teens looked around the room to see who could fit under that label.
No one moved an inch for about a minute until…
Beep!
It was Vanessa.
"Um… Colin?"
The lights went red as a buzzer effect went out.
"Nope." Blaineley shook her head. "Anyone want to steal?"
Another minute went by. Some contestants stared at each other, others had an idea of who that could be.
Suddenly, a button was pressed at the Major's side.
"Yes, Adala?"
"I'm just gonna say Arabelle because she is pretty much messed up right now."
The stage lights went red once again as Adala sighed and took her seat, earning a glare from Arabelle.
"No. It's down to Nash and Alec! Who will claim the first point for their team?" Chef asked for the camera.
The cowboy and the wannabe joker looked at each other for another minute. The camera then showed a split screen, with both of their hands almost touching the button.
Beep!
"Yes, Nash?"
"Carter?"
Carter widened his eyes at the mention of his name.
But unfortunately the lights went red.
Nash (Major A): "Partners, I could've sworn that it was Carter."
"Sorry, Nash. But it's not Carter. Alec?" Don turned to him.
The camera went to Alec, who had his fingers crossed and was about to make a wild guess.
"Um… Rival?"
The lights went green.
"One point for Minor A!" Brea declared as said Minor Team jumped and cheered (with the exception of Therion). "Pick your second representative!"
Alec (Minor A): "Holy crap, I didn't even know that the answer is part of my team! I should talk to them more often…"
Rival (Minor A): "To be fair, I said a while ago that my fact was that I don't have a good past, so I don't think they're gonna be based on our facts now."
MAJOR A
"Sorry, partners." Nash shrugged. "I couldn't tell from their scrunched up faces and all."
"That's alright, bro." Ryder placed a hand on his shoulder. "If it makes you feel better then I'll go next!"
"Now now, who said it was you?" Antoinette stood up.
"And who put you in charge?" Beatrice muttered.
"Guys, please stop." May pleaded quietly.
"Can we just agree that Ryder will take this one for us?" Colin meekly said to them. No one said a word.
Arreis (Major A): "Okay, but the people in my team aren't raised right. Specifically talking about Antoinette."
MAJOR B
"Way to go, doofus." Pierre sneered.
"Oh yeah? Try being under pressure, trying to figure who in the damn world has schizo-whatever-you-call-it, and score a point with a wild guess!" Adala shot back, but was then held back by Sami who shook her head no.
"If you think you're so smart, Pierre, then let's see how you do it." Sybil cheekily smirked.
Zack, Gabe, and Carter pushed him forward.
"If you don't get this one, then you know who's going to Minor tonight." Carter stated as he crossed his arms.
"Big time." Zack added.
MINOR A
"We are so gonna win this." Mag cheered.
"Bitch, I agree." Misha smiled.
"When are you gonna stop calling me a bitch?" Mag suddenly asked.
"And when are you guys gonna decide who's going up there?" Toxa asked back. "You guys don't wanna break our lead now, do you?"
"I'll go!" Kimmie raised her hand excitedly. "I mean, how hard could it be?"
"Really hard." Alec answered. "I didn't even realize that the answer was right next to me!"
The camera pointed to Rival who just waved hello.
MINOR B
"Come on, Vanessa! What the hell made you think that that ragged piece of shit is the answer?" Arabelle raged.
"So it's not okay for you to let me answer someone who I knew back then?" Vanessa retorted. "What about you? What do you know about Lyle and May that trick your ass off?"
Arabelle went on full steam as she was about to land a slap to Vanessa but was held back by ELV.
"Not today, lady." ELV stated. "Especially when you're in a challenge and everyone in their homes is probably looking at you."
"We're filmed 24/7! Who else wouldn't see the fact that Gordon and Oli got a handful of proof against you right in their hands?" Arabelle revealed, causing Gordon to bite his lip and Oli to fumble his fingers and some others to gasp.
At this point, ELV's eyes widened.
"What?"
Lyle stood up and cleared his throat. "Um, what she meant to say is that, it's your turn… right?"
ELV flashed a glare at his team before standing up.
Lyle (Minor B): "Hoo, I'm not good at stopping this type of tension, but we can't let the others win now because of this."
"We've got Ryder of Major A, Pierre of Major B, Kimmie of Minor A, and ELV of Minor B!" Brea announces.
The second batch of four contestants stood up.
"Question two," Blaineley began. "This person faced a problem pertaining to oversaturation."
Pierre snorted. "What are they, a computer? This is not even a question!"
"Hell no. Think of it the other way." Blaineley retorted.
All we can now hear is some crickets chirping.
Until…
Beep!
The camera then pans to both Ryder and Pierre, who appeared to press the button at the same time, but it was revealed that Pierre pressed it first, with a huge smirk on his face.
"Ryder." He answered, causing the other boy in the Major team to gasp as the stage lights turned green.
"Dude, come on!" Ryder shouted.
Ryder (Major A): "What was that?!" He was mad. "It's not like I don't know anything about myself! Oh, Major B is going down!"
The other teams gave looks of disgust (especially Major A) while Major B on the other hand had their mouths wide open as Pierre smiled triumphantly.
"And that's one point for Major B! Which means both Major B and Minor A are tied with one point! Let's see how the other two teams can catch up."
MAJOR A
"Ryder… WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT FOR!?" Antoinette yelled. "THAT WAS YOUR FUCKING FACT AND YOU LET THAT ASSHOLE GET AWAY WITH IT!"
"Oh, if you want to win so badly, Antoinette, we'll let you play!" Arreis yelled.
"And it's not even MY fault that Pierre beat me to it!" Ryder retaliated, smacking his hand on the table.
"Just… stop it, Antoinette." Colin sighed.
"You know what!?" The diva yelled crankily, completely ignoring Colin's comment. "We don't know who's gonna win now so might as well dump all of your asses and-"
WHACK!
Beatrice was seen suddenly smacked Antoinette's face, breaking her nose and it eventually starts bleeding.
Next thing we know, we see a bunch of stars shooting against a black background for a few seconds before the scene faints to normal.
"Eep!" May gasped.
The diva then fell out of her seat, feeling dizzy. May, Colin, and Nash looked in horror while Arreis and Ryder sighed in relief.
"Daaaaaaaaaaaamn, partner…" Nash winced a bit at the horrid sight.
Antoinette (Major B): She clutches her nose as her head starts spinning dizzily. "...fUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuUuCk…"
Beatrice (Major B): She slapped her forehead. "Jeez, Beatrice. How could you be so stupid… if Diane and Cassius are watching this right now, I'll just hope that they won't see that… violence. But I swear, if Antoinette gets her head on us one more time, something bad will happen to her. I can feel it."
Arreis (Major B): "That… was… AWESOME! DID YOU SEE THAT!? OH, THAT IS INSANE, GIRL! SALUTE TO THAT!"
"Ehehehe…" Beatrice laughed sheepishly. "Um, now what?"
Colin sighed dramatically. "I'll do it."
MAJOR B
"And that, babe," Pierre smirked triumphantly as he wrapped an arm around a shocked Sybil. "Is how you get your team to victory."
Sybil shook her head rapidly and tossed his arm away. "I don't care. Who's going next?"
"The fact that we got a point… dude, that was cool!" Zack widened his eyes. "Sorry to judge you, bro. You might not be as bad as it seems."
"I get that a lot, but that's far behind now." Pierre chuckled.
"If we're not gonna decide who's going and just continue to give praise to Pierre, I might as well go." Sami stated and stood up.
"You sure about that, Sami? The team hasn't even decided yet." Carter said as he gestured to the others.
"She can do it, Carter." Adala added. "I'm pretty sure this won't be so hard."
Carter (Major B): "Nuh-uh. You're expecting us to know a lot of these contestants in the past ten hours? No way."
"You don't trust me Carter, do you?" Sami crossed her arms.
"No one is to be trusted in this game." Carter responded. "Like I said earlier, we're just teammates."
"Riiiiiiiiight…" Sami nodded, obviously not buying anything Carter was saying.
Gabe rolled his eyes a bit. "Just let her do it, Carter."
Carter scoffed a bit and shrugged.
"...whatever you guys say."
Sami (Major B): "Gabe was right… he is pretty strange… might as well stay away from him. If he said I can't be trusted, well so can't he."
MINOR A
"Crap, look who's catching up." Mag hissed as she looked at Minor B.
"Yeah. Looks like anyone could win now.' Toxa bit her lip.
"So which one of you bitches wants to go up next? Because, you know, if we don't win, I'm not gonna be the one saying goodbye to y'all!" Misha states as she shook her head.
Kimmie sighed. "Sorry guys. I didn't even managed to snag an answer to that last question."
"It's not a big deal, Kimmie. We've got a point anyway thanks to Alec, and there's still plenty of rounds for us to earn some!" Rival cheered, trying to put Kimmie's mood up.
"Yeah, you… did alright. If it wasn't for Pierre, that is." Robert laughed and placed a hand on Kimmie's shoulder, causing the dreamer girl to blush.
"T-thanks guys."
"Look who's blushing now!" Alec laughed, earning odd stares from Toxa, Misha, Mag, Rival, and even Therion. "...oh. Sorry."
Toxa shook her head. "If any of you derps isn't gonna volunteer, then I'll do it."
"Whoo!" Mag cheered.
Alec (Minor A): "Look at me. I scored a point for our team and now I just completely killed the mood out of everyone."
Misha (Minor A): "I'm so rooting for Toxa and Mag on this one. They know a lot of these guys before from other seasons, so who's to say that she won't have a fucking fact or two from them? We're gonna win this shit!"
MINOR B
"Did- did you just throw the challenge?" Arabelle began fuming for the umpteenth time in this episode.
"I didn't throw it. How will I know what kind of oversaturation they meant?" ELV rolled his eyes and deadpanned.
"Pfft. Stop being so cocky Arabelle." Lyle sighed. "If anything, we want to see you do it."
Janice sighed as well. "I'm sorry Arabelle, but if you don't score anything for us and we end up losing until elimination next episode, then I'm afraid you'll be gone."
"Yeah Arabelle. You're so fucking nice." Vanessa sneered with full sarcasm, with Mairead pleading them to stop fighting.
"Stop, Arabelle! I don't want you to get hurt like what Beatrice did to Antoinette!" Mairead said. "Unless you guys didn't see that of course."
Gordon and Oli were still silent.
"Fine!" Arabelle screamed like a banshee. "As you wish!"
Arabelle (Minor B): "I can get us that point. They'll see!"
"So it's Colin for Major A, Sami for Major B, Toxa for Minor A, and Arabelle for Minor B! What a… crazy bunch." Brea commented as she read the paper. "Question number three: This person's father was believed to be in bed with another contestant's mother."
"Um, what the actual fuck? Who in the whole damn world will reveal this kind of shit?" Arabelle asked, not liking the question they were given.
Carter (Major B): "You've got to be kidding me, Brea. How much do you know?"
The four of them all had mixed reactions. Sami looked at everyone, thinking deeply about who's got involved with another person's parents. Arabelle on the other hand kept on sulking to herself. Toxa crossed her arms and thought far and wide, considering that about a fourth of the cast is familiar to her. And Colin, for the first time in this season, was plain confused as he looked at everyone from left to right. It went on for what seemed like an eternity.
Beep.
"It's about damn time someone pressed that button!" Chef yelled, smacking the small table next to him.
Sami gulped as she took an answer. "ELV?"
Everyone waited for three seconds until the stage lights went red as Sami sighed.
"Nope. It's not ELV." Blaineley announced. "Let's see who will take the steal!"
Colin, Arabelle, and Toxa each had for what seemed like a staring contest until Arabelle smacked the button, nearly breaking it.
"PIERRE!"
…
Red lights for Minor B.
"What the fuck Arabelle? I may have an attitude, but I swear my parents aren't like that!" Pierre stood up.
"Well… curse you all!" Arabelle sneered and sat on her seat.
"Next time, try and chill your goddamn ass for goodness' sake." Vanessa smirked.
"Ugh!"
Beep!
Everyone paid their attention to Colin, who literally eyed everyone one by one with a downed expression on his face. With a dramatic sigh, he said the name.
"Carter."
Everyone waited anxiously for the result.
Then, the stage lights went yellow.
"WhOoOoOo… duhz dat meen wee wong?" Antoinette slurred as if she were drunk, seeing stars all over her mind.
"No, you motherfucker." Arreis spat.
"I hate to say this but Arreis is right. You guys didn't get it right." Chris stated as Colin sighed and took his seat.
"But why have it yellow, Chris? Ran out of red lights? What's this, a traffic jam? Red, yellow and green?" Mag joked, elbowing Toxa who snickered a bit as well, with Misha trying her best to hold her laughter.
"No." Chris spat back. "It just means that the answer is close to correct."
With that, Minor A's laughter died down completely and Colin smacked his hand in the table frustratingly, with Ryder calming him down by patting his back.
"Toxa, it's now all up to you." Brea told her, and suspenseful music begins playing in the background.
Toxa immediately had an idea in her head. Thanks to Colin's answer which was Carter, she imediately thought of the person who just elbowed her.
"Mag."
Mag widened her eyes as the stage lights went green. The vengeful girl stood up, with a pure shocked expression, eyeing specifically at Carter.
"What?"
"What is right, Mag." Carter stood. "How do you all know this kind of information?"
"You guys can't be serious. You can't just broadcast some private information that I don't even know on national television!" Mag ranted, getting angry at that second.
"Actually, we can, Maggot." Chef sneered at her, and then snorted for a bit, then burst out into laughter, which caused the current background music to stop playing. "Get it? Because your name is Mag and all of you are maggots so you're officially a Maggot-"
Everyone looked at him oddly while Mag and Carter glared at him.
"...uh, Chris, where did I put my Rainbow Pegasus Juice?" Chef suddenly changed his mood while Chris facepalmed.
"Didn't you had one this morning?" Chris asked him.
"Get this homie out of my sight before the ratings go down. Now." Blaineley ordered the staff as they pushed him out of the auditorium.
"Hey, you can't do that to me! I work here!" Chef shouted as he was being dragged away by some staff members.
"Hoo, good riddance." Brea sighed. "Now currently, Minor A are in the lead with 2 points and Major B not far behind with 1 point. Let's see how will Major A and Minor B cope up because without further ado, pick your contestants for round 4!"
"Hey, do we get half a point? Because, you know, we almost got it right." Arreis asked.
"Fine. Half a point for Major A, landing them in third! Minor B, catch up!" Chris ordered.
MAJOR A
"Don't be so down, Colin. At least we have half a point." May assured, but Colin just shrugged in the end.
"You're right. But it won't be for long." He responded.
"But we can't be stuck in third for long, darn it!" Nash added, followed by a "No!" coming from Antoinette, who was clutching her nose with a towel.
"Be quiet!" Beatrice shushed her but was met with a frightened stare from May. "I mean, I'll go, hehehe."
"I gues we'll be cheering on you, Beatrice! We're counting on you!" Ryder cheered.
"Yeah!" Arreis nodded in agreement.
Ryder (Major A): "At least we're third! I'm rooting for Beatrice to get this next point. Oh, and what are supposed to do with that Eighth Note that Colin and I found earlier? Should I let them know?"
MAJOR B
"We need to pull Minor A down, pronto." Adala told her team. "Second is not enough."
"Well, look on the bright side, Adala." Sami sat next to her. "We're doing better than Major A, which means, there could be no one here going down to Minor tonight!"
"So… who wants to go?" Zack asked. "It's either me, Sybil, Carter, or Gabe."
"I thought we agreed on me going last." Gabe pointed out to the taller boy.
"Oh, yeah. Right." Ryder chuckled sheepishly. "Carter?" He looked at the blonde boy across from him who appears to be deep in thought.
"...I'll go later. Let Sybil go first." He said. "...it's just… how do they know?"
"Well, you know them, they pretty much snoop around." Sybil shrugged.
Sybil (Major B): "I honestly don't like how this is turning out. I just hope that Carter will be able to trust us because getting that kind of info out and about in national television can turn him into something… not good."
MINOR A
"Way to go, Toxa!" Misha cheered, sharing a high five with the indigo-haired girl. "So what do you say, bitches? Who's going next?"
No one spoke up.
"Come on, guys! We can't let anyone else take the lead now, right?" Toxa told them. "What about you, Therion? You haven't even said a word yet."
"Toxa, please. Just don't talk to me." Therion sighed.
"Therion, what the hell happened to you?" Rival asked.
"You really wanna know?" Therion asked, in which Rival nodded, earning him another sigh. "I'll tell you later."
"What about you, Mag?" Misha asked Mag, and winced a bit just to see that she looked… really mad. "Okay… maybe later."
"I'll go. I have a feeling it's about Act I next." Robert stood as he rubbed his hands together.
Toxa (Minor A): "We are definitely winning. But on the other hand, I'm kinda worried for Therion. I don't know how would Rival feel about this since he's close with him. And mind you, he wasn't even like that during our time in Blackwing Academy! Yeah, I knew that I've seen him somewhere…"
MINOR B
"Guys… we are LOSING! How the hell are we supposd to keep up?" Arabelle asked her team.
"I don't know! You think of something, genius!" Vanessa shot up.
"Wait." ELV said in a low voice as his team looked at him. "What did Arabelle said about Gordon and Oli having proof against me?"
"Uh, I… um… hey-OW!" Oli gasped as Gordon hit his knee.
"Against you? What do you mean we have something against you? We don't even know you! Right?" Gordon retaliated, clearly lying, but it wasn't obvious, making ELV sigh and slump back to his seat. "Hey, where's Mairead?"
"She said she's doing it. You guys weren't listening because you were busy arguing about ELV." Janice scoffed.
Lyle (Minor B): "I don't know about Gordon as much as Vanessa does, but he is a good liar. He actually covered up about the evidence earlier, and he didn't even say that Mairead and I were a part of it!"
"This is it folks! For round 4, we have Beatrice for Major A, Sybil for Major B, Robert for Minor A, and Mairead for Minor B." Chris says and gets another piece of paper. "Question four: This person has been rejected by a lot of people, making them what they are today."
"That doesn't sound like it's from Act I." Robert added stupidly.
Once again, no one moved and stayed still as if everyone was a statue at some random museum.
Vanessa widened her eyes as Colin bit his lip from his seat.
At this point, the viewers (or in this case, readers) can tell who the answer was, but the question is, do any of these four know?
Everyone stayed still for another minute.
"You have ten more seconds. If nobody hits the button by the time the ten seconds are up, no one gets a point." Chris tolds them. "Ten…"
…
…
…
"Nine…"
…
…
…
Beatrice looked at everyone and sighed, not knowing who to answer.
"Eight…"
…
…
…
"Seven…"
…
…
…
Sybil buried her face into her hands, not a single answer popping into her mind.
"Six…"
…
…
…
"Five…"
…
…
…
Robert eyed everyone one by one, from his own team to even the hosts, but to no avail.
"Four…"
…
…
…
"Three…"
…
…
…
Mairead began to sweat, feeling Vanessa stare at her intently. She knows that she would completely put her team down, but why would she press the button even though she doesn't have an answer?
"Two…"
…
…
…
"One…"
…
…
...
The stage lights went red.
"Welp, I guess no one has and idea of who to answer then? Well, I'll just say it straight: The answer is…" Brea began. "...Colin."
Everyone gasped.
"Just as I thought…" Colin sighed again and placed his head on the table.
Beatrice (Major A): "THE ANSWER WAS IN MY TEAM ALL ALONG!? AHHHHHHH!"
Sybil (Major B): "...I never even considered him." She smacked her forehead.
Robert (Minor A): "That does it. I hope my team doesn't blame me for this because I do not even know the others in this game."
Mairead (Minor B): "Oh shit, so that's why Vanessa was looking at me…"
"Scores are still the same. Minor A leading wih 2 points followed by Major B with 1 point. Major A also has a half point while Minor B are still stuck with zero." Brea rushed through the current standings. "For this next round, pick two from your team. Who's up for round 5, anyone?"
MAJOR A
"Come on, May. I guess it's our time to shine!" Arreis squealed as she pulled May's arm and led them to the table.
"GOOD LUCK, PARTNERS!" Nash cheered like a random cheerleader from a high school football team.
"I guess we're not letting you play this time, huh?" Zack mocked a bit towards Antoinette, who just glared at him.
"I wonder though, how come it's not obvious?" Colin wondered to himself but was loud enough for Ryder to hear.
"What's that?"
"Like, they all know that I'm worthless and useless, so why don't they know the answer to that?" Colin rolled his eyes but Ryder shaked him by his shoulders.
"Dude, you need to keep yourself together! Not everyone's gonna… well… pity you. Especially Antoinette." Ryder told him.
"Stop it, Ryder. You're not helping. If it makes you feel better, I'll just use this Eighth Note, hope it turns into a Time Signature, and I'll be on my merry way home. Happy?" Colin stared intently at Ryder.
Ryder (Major A): "I honestly can't say if he's angry or sad, but… I just want to help him."
MAJOR B
"...What now?" Adala asked everyone again. "Not a lot of options left…"
"Nice job, babe." Pierre snickered with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.
"Pierre, how the fuck would I know that that question belongs to Colin as the answer? I don't even know him as much as the others do! Besides, he was with Ryder this entire time, snooping around the bushes in front of the theater!" Sybil retorted.
Sami widened her eyes and gasped about this sudden revelation that came from Sybil out of all people. "Wait. Snooping around the bushes? That does not sound like him."
"It will sound like him if he was actually finding an item as powerful as a Half Note." Carter added sarcastically. "Hell, everyone here could do anything to get their hands on such items in the game. That is, if they're not afraid of the Time Signature."
"So that's what you're doing outside, huh~" Pierre cheekily responded.
"Oh fuck, so you're saying that Major A could be planning against us now?" Gabe told them.
"Come on, Gabe. We're not letting this slip past our fingers." Zack told him and the two prepared themselves for the next round.
MINOR A
"I can already taste the victory~" Alec cooed but Misha suddenly smacked the back of his head lightly.
"We're in the lead, but we haven't won this shit yet!" Misha told him, causing Alec to chuckle sheepishly.
"So who's going?" Mag asked her teammates, who were now deciding on who should go. "I don't really know much about last season, so I think I should go after you guys.
"I'll go!" Rival volunteered with a smile on his face. "I think we can secure the lead on our team. Plus, I've watched some episodes after my time in Time Warp so this shouldn't be too hard."
"Well, Kimmie and Robert already have gone, so I'm coming with Rival. Besides, I've got some knowledge about Act I too." Misha added.
"Win this, guys." Therion added.
"You two know the most about the past season compared to the rest of us, minus the veterans." Toxa told them.
MINOR B
Janice turns to everyone else that had high tensions just by looking at them. "Guys, if we're not gonna shut up and just stare at each other like some random assholes, I swear someone in this team is going out tonight!"
"And?" ELV raised an eyebrow.
"I say we have Gordon and Oli do this round." Janice concluded.
"Who said you're in charge?" Arabelle stood up again.
"Don't get me started." Janice glared with pure rage in her eyes. She was really tired of witnessing them fighting a lot, so for her, it's time to end this. "And who says I can't lead?"
"Well I say you aren't fit to be a leader." Arabelle shot at her. "Hell, you even lost the singing contest back in ninth grade, just for a stupid dolphin note. It just proves that you can't even lead yourself to victory. Plus, you were so sensitive that some people even called you a crybaby."
Janice was the type to get hurt easily, so when Lyle saw that she was fighting the urge to cry, he stood up.
"That's enough." He broke the tension from the two. "Oli, Gordon, we're counting on you for this."
"Alright." Oli nodded.
"Okay! For this round, we have May and Arreis for Major A, Zack and Gabe for Major B, Misha and Rival for Minor A, and Gordon and Oli for Minor B!" Chris sighed. "Man, that's a lot of saliva to take in."
"SO!" Blaineley shouted like a banshee from earlier. "Anyone who gets this right gets two points for their team so keep your chins up!"
"Question number five: This contestant got criticized and bullied so much by a lot of people that they even had a suicidal attempt not too long ago." Brea read the paper.
The Major A duo were already having a hard time.
"The hell…?" Arreis widened her eyes.
"Why would they do such a thing?" May looked down.
"Well, who do you think it is?" Arreis whispered to her.
"I don't know…" May sighed.
"Well… shit." Arreis cursed under her breath.
The Major B duo in the other hand, analyzed some of the other contestants that they have an idea of, based on the previous questions.
"Zack, who do you think it is?" Gabe asked. "Because I'm absolutely sure that it's not one of the veterans."
"Yeah, you're right Gabe." Zack said. "Let's try and put our focus on the ones that aren't so… nice?"
On the other side, the Minor A pair were focusing on the ones they don't know much about.
"Therion used to get bullied…" Rival whispered. "...but I don't remember him being criticized before…"
"I don't think any of the veterans fit that label…" Misha responded. "Because in Musical Impact, it was Spear who used to get bullied and criticized, but he never attempt suicide."
"So, you think it's someone we don't know much?" Rival asked her.
"Probably."
The camera then pans on to the last pair, Minor B. Oli was busy thinking of who to answer, but Gordon looked… down.
"So, who should it be?" Oli asked. "I don't think it can be people like Arabelle or Antoinette, or even ELV! What if we-"
"I think that's me." Gordon whispered.
"What?" Oli turned to him.
"I used to get bullied by the kids in the orphanage. The staff there also criticize me for being too bland and boring. I was so angry and sad at the same time, that I nearly hung myself up in the orphanage's basement, but… I gave up and just ran away."
Oli noticed his voice getting a little shaky, so he just nodded and gave him a pat on the back.
Beep.
The camera then shows Arreis and May. Arreis appeared to pressed the button but May on the other hand was covering her ears as if a bomb just blew off.
"Uh… Colin?" Arreis answered.
…
Red lights for Major A as their team sighed in disappointment.
"Guess we're stuck at half a point now, huh?" May smiled sheepishly as Arreis nodded sadly.
"Sorry guys, but it's not Colin. He may be dejected and all but do you think he would do that? I guess not." Blaineley shrugged.
"Am I supposed to take that as an insult or a compliment?" Colin asked the female host who just shrugged.
"Whichever way you like. Now, who will steal the point?" Blaineley asked as the screen split, showing the remaining three pairs.
Beep.
The camera now shows Minor A, who appear to be a bit confident. Rival pressed the button as Misha had a huge smile on her face.
"We think it's Janice." Misha answered.
…
Red lights were flashed for the Minor A team as the team scoffed and crossed their arms.
"Sorry guys…" Rival apologized as he scratched the back of his head.
"Well, I guess it's all up to Major B and Minor B! The B teams! Haha!" Brea laughed like a maniac as the hosts looked oddly at her. "Yeah, whatever. Who's going to get a point now?"
A minute of silence passed between the two pairs. Zack had his hand near the button to press it, but then recoiled his own hand away from the button as if something was stopping him. Oli on the other team was unsure to press the button because he wanted to win those points for their team since they were losing, but at the same time, it felt uncomfortable for him since this kind of side from Gordon will get intentionally revealed to everyone.
"Ten…" Chris counted.
"Nine…" Blaineley followed.
"Eight…" Don continued.
"Seven…" Brea added.
Beep!
Both screens now show both boys with their hands on the button in front of them but only one of them has been pressed.
"Yes, Oli?" Chris turned his attention to the dark skinned boy.
"Gordon. Sorry, pal…" Oli answered and apologized to his teammate at the same time.
Green lights for Minor B as the team widened their eyes.
Vanessa (Minor B): "On the bright side, we're in the lead with the other Minor team. On the other side, I never knew this about Gordon. He was so busy arguing with Tyrone back in Archipelago that he never had a chance to tell me about his life…"
The other teams gasped as well.
"So that means, both Minor teams are in the lead with 2 points! Major B is now in third with one point. And just like that, Major A is now last, stuck with only half a point!" Chris laughed a bit. "Oh, and someone get Chef back? That'd be great."
"With that, we are now going into the sixth round! For Major A and B, we'll have Antoinette and Carter respectively. For Minor A and B, you have one minute to pick your representative!" Brea announced. "For the remaining Minor players who won't get picked for this one, we're gonna set this off with the Sudden Death Round."
MAJOR A
"What are we gonna do, partners?" Nash asked his team. "We can't just let Antoinette play considering her nose for darn toothin'! Plus if we have her do this, we could be voting someone off of this team!"
"Well, we'll just let it be. She's the one going in Minor anyway." Colin added.
"But don't you guys want to win?" May asked them.
"May, we might lose this first challenge, but we'll just hope that we won't lose the rest." Beatrice told her as she patted her head.
"Beatrice's right." Ryder nodded in agreement.
"So you're saying that you guys will vote for me?" Antoinette glared at them. She was no longer clutching her nose.
"Um, yeah." Arreis grimaced at her.
MAJOR B
"Win this, Carter. We don't want Major A to catch up to us now!" Sybil told him.
"What she said." Pierre deadpanned.
"Uh, we're just half a point more than them, so is that big of a deal?" Sami asked them.
"Of course it is, since Zack and Gabe didn't get the question right!" Adala retorted.
"Hey, it's not our fault we don't know who it is!" Zack said.
"Yeah!" Gabe nodded in agreement just ti have a line in this scene.
"Fine, just stop your blabbering because I'll be the one to get us that point yada-yada." Carter sighed as he stood up, prepared to face the others.
MINOR A
"So it's either you," Misha said as she pointed to Therion. "...or you." She added as she pointed to Mag.
"What are we even gonna do in the sudden death round anyway?" Therion asked his teammates. Unfortunately no one has any clue of what will happen to them.
"Who cares about this sudden death. I'll do that." Mag volunteered for the said round. "I can take whatever they have in store for this so called sudden death round."
"You sure about that?" Toxa asked her.
"Who knows what you will do." Rival followed.
"Come on guys! Have faith in her! Plus, Therion's gonna go up this round… right?" Alec turned his attention to them.
"Let's just hope we'll beat this against Minor B. They're catching up fast." Robert said as he pointed to the other team.
MINOR B
Vanessa widened her eyes to Gordon "...You never told me that."
"Well, now you know." Gordon sat in his seat and buried his face on his hands.
"Ignore him. Janice, since you're so stupid lately, you're going up next." Arabelle yelled as she pushed Janice forward.
"But-"
"No buts!" Arabelle glared.
"So does this mean I'm doing the sudden death thingy? Whatever that is, that sounds like it will not strike my fancy." Lyle rolled his eyes.
"Um, yeah." ELV nodded.
"So now we have Antoinette for Major A, Carter for Major B, Therion for Major C- I mean Minor A, and Janice for Minor B!" Blaineley sighed.
"And let's have question number six! Name all the contestants of Musical Impact that got eliminated by traditional means that does NOT include tampered votes until Episode 12." Chris snickered. "Ooh, a toughie."
The four contestants sighed.
Janice (Minor B): "So, there are three people, that's for sure. But the only person that I know that got eliminated by a vote-off is Oli. I'm pretty sure everyone knows that. But… who could the other two be?"
Therion (Minor A): "I don't know much about Act I, only because someone was an intern there." He scoffs.
Carter (Major B): "I knew I shouldn't have gone in this round!" He smacked his forehead.
Antoinette (Major A): "Who eliminated what now?"
Beep.
"Yes, Janice?" Blaineley says as the attention turned to the Singaporean girl.
"Um, Oli, Amanda, and Meredith?" Janice twiddled her fingers.
Red lights for Minor B.
"You got Oli right. Amanda was voted off by tampered votes made by Evander whom Sal forced him to, and Meredith was eliminated by an injury." Chris told her.
"Wait so we don't even get a half point?" Oli asked.
"No." Chef answered. Arabelle then glared at Janice.
Beep.
"Since I don't really know," Antoinette began. "I'm just gonna say Oli, Spear, and Faith because they're people."
Red lights for Major B.
"Look, you got Spear right too. But was Faith even eliminated before Episode 12?" Brea eyed her.
Major B began staring daggers at the diva as she chuckled sheepishly.
Beep.
"Yes, Therion?"
"Hm, Oli, Spear, Samuel, and Kimmie." He answered.
Once again, we have red lights for Minor A.
"Wait, he got it right! He said everyone!" Kimmie stood up.
"No, Kimmie. He got three of them right but one of them didn't get eliminated by traditional means. Come on, weren't you a competitor?" Don retorted at her. "Oh hey, I finally got a line in this stupid chapter-"
"Oh yeeeeaaaaah… hehehe…" Kimmie laughed sheepishly.
"Wait we don't even get a half point?" ELV sighed.
"There are no half points in this round, my friend." Don said.
Don (Host): "Oh come on, Kimmie. You weren't even eliminated by a vote-off…"
Carter (Major B): "Wait. If Kimmie's acting like that, that means she didn't get eliminated by a vote off...'"
Carter slammed the button as fast as he could.
"Oli, Spear, and Samuel."
Green lights for Major B.
"YES!" Adala cheered as the said team cheered as well. Carter also sighed in relief.
"So that means, Major B, Minor A, AND Minor B are secured for the second part of the first challenge!" Chris announced.
"Wait, there's a second part?" Sami asked.
"Weren't you not paying attention to the rules? There will be one non-musical related challenge, one musical related challenge after that, then comes elimination. So you guys aren't safe yet." Brea pointed out.
"But what about the-"
"Oh, the Sudden Death Challenge!" Chris shouted as he cut off Mag, who scoffed. "May we have Mag and Lyle come up front?"
The two aformentioned contestants stepped forward.
Mag (Minor A): "Okay, what the hell are planning to do to us?"
Lyle (Minor B): "So far, I do not like where this is going."
"This round is simple." Brea said. "The two of you each held out your hand, and Chef will smack it."
"Sounds hard." Mag commented.
"Hush!" Brea yelled. "Chef's hand slap will get harder and harder as time passes by. If you called it a quits, the other Minor team wins an advantage for the next episode. Ready?"
Chef began to approach the two.
"Dear me, I am not-"
"Go!" Brea shouted, ignoring Lyle's comment.
Chef went to Mag first, giving a weak slap on her hand.
"Okay, I didn't even feel anything. Is this some kind of joke?" Mag narrowed her eyes as Chef went to Lyle and smacked his hand weakly also.
"Ha! Your slap is nothing compared to a baby's." He laughed.
Chef made his way to Mag again and slapped her hand a bit harder.
"It feels like your giving me a high five." Mag chuckled.
Chef went to Lyle, giving the same kind of slap as well.
"Okay, this one is probably about the strengrh of a toddler." He smirked.
Chef once again heads for Mag and gave her quite a hard hand slap.
"Um… okay."
Mag (Minor A): "I'm gonna be real honest here. That one kinda hurt."
Chef did the same for Lyle who made a gasp.
"Oof!"
"Give up?" Mag taunted.
"Of course not!" Lyle huffed.
Chef made his way to Mag once again and gave a hard smack on her hand as Mag winced in pain.
"Ow!"
Then for Lyle, he made the same smack.
"Ouch!"
"Alright, this is getting boring. Let's make this quick~" Chris clapped twice as a highlight reel showed the two getting their hands smacked.
"OW!"
"OOF!"
"OUCH!"
"YOU TRYNA KILL ME!?"
"ACK!"
…
…
…
…
"I quit." One of them responded.
"Looks like we have our advantage winner!" Chris yelled. "Congrats to..
…
…
…
…
...Mag and Minor A!"
"WOOHOO!" Minor A cheered as they all jumped and hugged one another.
"It's just an advantage, I mean we're not going to elimination later, right?" Lyle told Minor B.
"I hope not." Oli shrugged as the others looked down and sighed.
"Well, are you done cheering? Because you all can rest up for a bit! By 9:00PM, we're gonna do the second part of this challenge and the elimination! So rest up!" Blaineley shouted and the rest scrambled out of the auditorium like a bunch of ostriches.
"Yee-haw!" Nash shouted out of nowhere and Adala smacked the back of his head.
"You just ran over my foot, cowboy!" Adala yelled.
The scene went black for a moment, then it cuts to the five hosts on the stage.
"So, what an episode! Things are really starting to shimmy up, huh?" Blaineley told her fellow co-hosts.
"Yup!" Don nodded. "So, what will happen with Colin and Alec now that they've got an item in their hands?"
"What will happen to Therion's relationship with Mara now that Ulysses came into play?" Chef smirked.
"Will Arabelle and Antoinette ever get along with their teams?" Chris added whilst rubbing his hands vigorously.
"What will happen to Carter, Mag, and Gordon now that their secrets are now out and about?" Blaineley pointed to the camera.
"And most of all, what will happen to ELV now that half of Minor B are planning to vote him out?" Brea crossed her arms. "Find out next time on-"
"TOTAL!"
"DRAMA!"
"ACT II!"
"MUSICAL POWER!"
The hosts waved at the cameras before the screen fades to the credits theme.
