Alex didn't want a future without Charlie and Charlie didn't want a future without Alex. It was clearly stated in their letters. Alex couldn't see himself in the future without his loving boyfriend with him and Charlie felt the same way about his future. In their minds there was only a future with each other. To Alex,there was no future without Charlie. To Charlie, there was no future without Alex. Alex had to have Charlie in his future and Charlie had to have Alex in his future. They were each other's future. There was no future unless they had each other in the future,for the rest of time. If Alex couldn't have Charlie in his life,he didn't want a future. If Charlie couldn't have Alex in his life,he didn't want a future. But thankfully they have each other in life. Alex barely got through the time without having a boyfriend like he has now. Charlie came into his life and taught him what love is after learning of his past without him. And that is how Charles Hayden Brixton St. George saved Alexander Dean Standall's life. They wondered what their lives would be like for the rest of their lives. Alex and Charlie were hanging out one day and they were talking about the future and what it might be like for them.
