Day 8, 11:30 AM
Camera Room
"Last time on Total Drama-" Chris yawned, his eyelids were evidently getting heavier and heavier, about to close any time soon. "Hoo, I need to sleep."
Blaineley raised an eyebrow. "Well, what were you doing all night?"
"I spent all night trying to contact Godfrey." Chris reasoned out in the laziest way possible.
The hostess in red let out a loud snort that made her sound like a fucking pig. "I'm sorry for asking this but, who the hell is Godfrey?"
"He's a guy that breaks the fourth wall a lot," Brea began. "He also treats this season as if it were a story, likes to analyze characters and certain potential plot points, and oh, he's also standing right behind you."
"Ah…" Blaineley nodded but widened her eyes in realization at that last bit before turning back to see… yeah.
"Greetings!" Godfrey greeted with a nod, his sharp blue eyes focused on the hosts.
Godfrey was a tall, pale and lean fellow, with wild wavy dark brown hair obnoxiously poofing out. He wears a dramatic looking maroon coat that falls up to his knees, with a gray shirt and a black vest underneath, accompanied with black jeans and dark brown shoes, which all in all, nothing pretty much stands out- okay, maybe the coat did.
"Hey." Chef gave a small wave back. "Looks like you're on time unlike Chris' thoughts here."
"Of course I'd be on time before the intro, right?" Godfrey eyed him.
Once silence grew between the hosts, Don cleared his throat. "Uh… speaking of intro… hit it!" He said in a complete rush.
"We didn't even do the recap." Brea noted.
"Who gives a fuck?" Chris snorted, falling asleep afterwards on the desk in front of him as the theme started playing.
*Opening Theme #1*
Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine
The camera zooms into the dance practice room where Lyle was practicing his ballet. May and Sami were watching him and applauded as he landed on his plié successfully, while Arabelle on the other hand, watched with disgust.
You're always on my mind
The camera leaves the room and heads to the auditorium where we can see Beatrice masterfully playing the piano until Antoinette sits on the keys smirking, causing several off-key notes being played. Ryder sees this and pushes Antoinette off the piano, causing her to land face first to the floor and Ryder and Beatrice high-fived.
You asked me what I wanted to be
The camera zooms under the high-five and next thing we see is that we are in the bedroom of one of the teams' houses, where Janice was writing in her diary. Toxa was standing right behind her, rubbing her hands as if she had a plan. Toxa then turns back, only to find Misha crossing her arms. On the window however, we can see Pierre trying to get a peek of the girls.
And now I think the answer is plain to see
The camera warps to the other house's living room, where we can see Rival and Therion doing their handshake. Mara is then seen in the window waving at them causing Therion to blush but then scowls when he sees Mara taken away by Ulysses. Both boys however, ignored Alec, who served them a plate of cookies, with a shocked expression on his face.
I wanna be famous
The camera zooms into the cookies and warps to the backstage where we can see Carter and Mag arguing, with Nash trying to break them up, by throwing his lasso at them. Lee on the other hand, freaks out as he sees this, and runs away from them instead of telling them something important.
I wanna live close to the sun
We then get a view of the storage room, where Gordon and Vanessa were looking for something. Colin opens the door, scaring the two, but leaves after that with a downed expression.
Go pack your bags, I've already gone far
The camera then warps again to the dressing room, where we see Adala and Zack comforting Sybil, who looked as if she were crying. It then pans onto ELV on the other side of the room, who happens to pass by and (unintentionally) begins to eavesdrop.
Everything to prove, what can you say?
We now go to the cafeteria where we can see Holly, Evan, and Leticia chatting. Arreis and Kimmie have plates of food in their hand but Kimmie accidentally drops the food on Holly, making her mad. Mairead was on the other table, laughing, while Gabe didn't look too pleased.
I'll be there one day
The camera quickly zooms into a small library where Dustin, Oli, and Robert were playing cards. However Maya comes in and slams the table, causing all cards to fall off, getting glares from the three boys.
'Cause I wanna be famous
The scene then swaps to a camera room, where we can see Brea, Blaineley, Chris, and Chef arguing. Don then arrives and stops everyone but is stopped when Enrique starts scolding them.
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na-na!
The scene switches to the office room where we can see Chris holding a bunch of papers, then leaves his office with a note that says "NO TRESPASSING" in big red letters.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The first "I wanna be" shows the Sopranos (Janice, Sami, Toxa, Beatrice, Kimmie) against the Tenors (Alec, Colin, Zack, Lyle, Oli). The second "I wanna be" shows the Mezzo-Sopranos (Vanessa, Misha, Adala, May, Mairead) and the Mezzo-Tenors (Gordon, Pierre, Therion, Nash, Robert) shaking hands. The "I wanna be famous" shows the Altos (Arabelle, Antoinette, Mag, Sybil, Arreis) and Basses (Rival, Ryder, Carter, ELV, Gabe) sharing a group hug.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The fourth "I wanna be" shows the four interns standing there with mixed expressions. The fifth "I wanna be" shows the five judges with different reactions from different performances. In the second "I wanna be famous" shows the five hosts crossing their arms with smirks on their faces.
*whistling in tune*
The whole cast can now be seen on the stage, bowing as the audience applauds them loudly. Flowers were being thrown to the stage as the curtain closed, revealing the season's title, "Total Drama Act II: Musical Power" in gold letters. The episode title, "Episode 9: It Don't Mean A Thing" can be seen written below, in silver letters.
*End opening theme*
Episode 9: It Don't Mean A Thing
"Let's make this kid look like a fool."
Major House (Toxa, Beatrice, May, Misha, Mag, Antoinette, Lyle, Ryder, Carter, Therion, Rival)
Things were already being tidied up for the arrival of the former Minor members. Beatrice, May, Ryder, Carter, and Therion were all gathered up in what used to be Major A's room as they discussed who sleeps where.
"So, girls in this room and boys on the other?" May summarized. "Sounds pretty good."
"Yeah," Ryder nodded in agreement towards May's statement. "Beds wouldn't be a problem since we're much fewer than back in day one."
"So I guess we should bring our things to the other room, right guys?" Therion asked, gesturing towards Ryder and Carter.
Carter nodded without any emotion. "Yeah, let's do that." He added and got up, gathering his belongings.
Both Therion and Ryder followed suit and got up as well, grabbing their bags.
"See you guys later!" May waved as the boys left.
Meanwhile, Toxa, Misha, Mag, Antoinette, Lyle, and Rival were making their way to the Major house.
"So I guess this is it, huh?" Lyle grinned as he stared at the front door. "Welcome to Major, everyone."
"Eh, I've already been here. Doubt that anything changed." Antoinette rolled her eyes as if moving from one team to another was a daily routine.
"Well, this is new for the ones who haven't switched teams, you hypocrite." Mag snarked, but Antoinette ignored as she expected it to happen.
"What are you waiting for, you assholes? Let's get in, already!" Misha ordered.
"Hold up, I think we should wait for someone in the Majors to open the door for us." Rival suggested.
"Let's knock." Toxa simply stated and knocked on the door just as she said.
Minor House (Sami, Adala, Vanessa, Sybil, Arreis, Zack, Colin, Pierre, Gordon, Robert, Gabe)
Meanwhile on the Minor's house, the camera pans to Sami, Janice, Adala, Vanessa, and Sybil fixing their things in their room as the former Major members had just arrived.
"So… what does it feel like being in Minor?" Adala asked as she began unpacking her things.
"As a person who's been into both, it's just a team so if I were to be honest, being in Major or Minor doesn't really affect much." Vanessa shrugged.
Arreis just nodded. "Well, we'll see once things heat up."
"Yeah," Sami sighed disappointingly.
"You alright, Sami?" Sybil asked the fandom girl.
"I'm fine." Sami stated in a bit of a harsh tone, leaving Sybil worried and confused.
With the boys, Zack, Colin, Pierre, Gordon, Robert, and Gabe were getting along quite just fine. Or that's what it seems.
"Top or bottom?" Zack asked Colin, who was just right next to him. "I'll take whatever's left."
"...doesn't matter." Colin stated in his usual depressive tone as he settled for the bottom.
"You know Colin, it's quite alright being in the Minor team. I mean, sure we're more prone to elimination than the Majors, but that doesn't mean that you're guaranteed to be eliminated." Gabe explained, tossing his bag on a top bunk.
"I'm kinda tired of moving from one team to another, you know?" Pierre stated as he laid on his bunk. "I mean, things aren't consistent."
"Well, last season wasn't consistent when it comes to challenges for your information." Robert noted.
"Does this mean we newbies should be worried?" Gordon wondered out loud.
"Maybe." Colin answered without any emotion in his voice.
Night 8, 6:00 PM
CHALLENGE 4.1: Make It Up (Location: Backstage Rear Chamber, Makeup Studio)
Night had fallen over the island. The whole day went by pretty slowly since there wasn't much going on, but who was there to blame?
The contestants and hosts have gathered up just behind the backstage area. It was also the same place where some of the contestants went to get some costumes back on the other day.
"So what are we doing here in the makeup studio?" Robert asked the hosts.
"Oh, that's a secret." Brea smirked. "Actually, it isn't. Your challenge has to do something with makeup, and some veterans."
"How do those even go together?" Misha asked with a completely dumbfounded expression.
"Hey, it's not like you're gonna give them some random girly makeup and make them look like fools!" Brea rolled her eyes.
Gabe stared at everyone intently. "Isn't Mara the makeup artist back in Act I?"
"She didn't even do anything but dreamed about Therion." Don blurted out.
"Oof." Some of the contestants were heard saying, while Brea on the other hand, sighed in relief as everyone had no idea that just single-handedly revealed the challenge.
"As expected from Brea Delamonca." Godfrey plainly stated from behind. "Always turning things upside-down."
"Should I take it as a compliment?" Brea asked. Godfrey was about to answer, but instead was rudely interrupted by Chris.
"M'kay, it's time to keep your mouths shut." Chris said in a strict manner.
Everyone fell quiet in almost an instant.
"Wow, that actually worked…" the raven-haired host widened his eyes in amazement.
Because of this, no more words came out of his mouth. Even Chef tried snapping his fingers in front of Chris' face, but still nothing happened.
"Okay… he's probably in shock…" Chef concluded, though he either seems unsure or he's trying to pull off a joke… probably more like the latter.
Don decided to take the wheel like usual. "Okay future stars, your challenge for tonight is going to be a… makeover!" He announced, making it seem like Brea never revealed it, but failed as he received some… not so satisfying reactions from the cast.
"Well… who are we gonna give a makeover to?" Adala asked from behind.
Godfrey turned to Brea. "You need to improve on your grammar."
"I'm working on it." Brea narrowed her eyes in slight annoyance. "Not everyone is perfect, for your information."
"I'm just saying!"
Brea sighed. "Oh well."
Blaineley shrugged at the bickering and carried on. "To answer Adala's question, we'll be introducing you… our top four contestants from Act I!"
The veterans, mainly Robert, Gabe, and Arreis all widened their eyes, surprised to see their former castmates again.
Clayton, Olivia, Xavier, and Faith emerged from the red curtains located on the side as some cheers from the cast were heard. The four soon joined the hosts in the front of the room.
"So how does it feel like being… guests on the sequel to your season?" Godfrey inquired, handing his microphone to Clayton.
"Uh… pretty neat I guess? Hey, at least we got to take a break from our schedule." He quickly said before passing the microphone to Olivia.
"Exciting." She answered. "That's all I could say for now." She added, before giving Xavier the microphone a few seconds later.
"Uh… pretty good I guess?" He sheepishly chuckled. "I have no idea what we were supposed to do so…" he trailed off, quickly passing Faith the microphone.
"Pretty exciting, and why do you all seem like you're so nervous? Like, nothing bad is gonna happen, yeesh!" Faith ranted a bit.
"Says you." Blaineley snarked in the background.
"Says a host who hasn't been in season one." Brea snarked back.
"BE QUIET!" Don yelled at the hosts, causing everyone to fall silent. "And Chris, get a hold of yourself together!"
Chris finally snapped out of his daze. "Right…" he sneered a bit, grabbing a paper out of nowhere and began reading it. "So… to add up on the lame explanation provided earlier, you will be giving these former competitors from last season a makeover, since they have another music video shooting session later!"
Some of the contestants widened their eyes, but no words were heard from any of them.
"Since we only have two teams, each team will split into two more teams, boys and girls since we have two girls and two boys from Act I." Godfrey added.
Carter nodded in agreement. "Hmm, makes sense."
"So," Brea began. "Major girls, you will be getting Olivia! Major boys will be getting Xavier! Minor boys will have Clayton while the Minor girls will have Faith! There are four backstage rooms in the corridor over there where you will be doing the challenge."
Blaineley cleared her throat. "Also, we will be giving you the theme for their makeover. You'll find out what it is later. And lastly, you have… an hour to accomplish it. So… GO!"
The contestants were all startled by Blaineley as they scattered around for a moment, before heading out.
Room 1 - Major Boys (Lyle, Ryder, Carter, Therion, Rival)
The five Major boys, along with Xavier, entered one of the backstage studio rooms. The third placer of Act I sat on the spinning chair right in front of the mirror.
"So…" Xavier began, fumbling his fingers. "Have any of you tried doing a makeover before?"
Lyle shook his head no, and turned to Ryder, who also shook his head no, and turned to Carter, who also shook his head no, and turned to Therion, who also shook his head no, and turned to Rival, who also shook his head no, and turned to… yeah, the wall.
"Ah, I see…" Xavier nodded, jutting his chin. "Well, it won't be that much of a problem, I can guarantee you five that." He added with a slight chuckle.
The five contestants chuckled nervously in response.
Carter (Major): "Okay, why are we so awkward? I mean, come on, he's just the third placer of Act I, he doesn't even look bad at first glance. He just looks nice."
"Let's just wait until the hosts tell us what to do." Carter suggested, speaking up for the five.
"Yeah, good idea." Ryder immediately nodded in agreement.
Xavier noticed how nervous the boys were getting, and only let out a short laugh. "Relax, guys. No need to be so nervous and awkward, besides, I was in your position two years ago."
"Right…" Therion realized.
Their conversation was cut off by the door knocking.
"I'll get it." Rival declared and opened up to see Chris.
The raven haired host stared at the contestants, until his eyes fell on Xavier.
"Hmm, I say the theme you could go for him is… kind of bad boy-ish, I mean, that's one of their upcoming music video themes according to the production crew back at Fresh Entertainment." Chris jutted his chin. "So yeah, just give him some bad boy vibes for this one. Oh, and don't forget about costumes. You're not only doing makeup, but costumes as well."
"Sounds… quite easy, so to speak." Lyle commented.
"Well, be careful about what you say, Lyle as this may seem harder than you think." Chris sneered, looking at the door. "And now's my time to leave. You have about… fifty-five minutes left." He added before finally leaving the room, with Rival closing the door behind the host.
Therion looked over at the clothing rack, then over at everyone else. "So, how do we start?"
Room 2 - Minor Girls (Sami, Adala, Vanessa, Sybil, Arreis)
Adala, Vanessa, Sybil, and Arreis were in the second room along with Faith, who was on the spinning chair. Brea had just given Sami a piece of paper and left the room.
"This shouldn't be too hard." Sami commented, while staring at the paper. "I was the costume designer last time for my old team and things went pretty good."
"I don't mean to toot your own horn Sami, but didn't Carter find those costumes?" Adala laughed a bit after hearing Sami's proud comment.
"Oh right, my bad!" The fandom girl giggled nervously.
Sybil looked at Sami. "Well, Sami-"
"So guys, how are we supposed to pull off this… chic-ish theme Brea gave us?" Sami asked everyone else.
"Maybe-"
"Vanessa? Do you have any… experience on doing makeovers?" asked the fandom girl.
Vanessa let out a loud chuckle. "No."
Sybil widened her eyes. "Wait, I-"
"What about you guys? Arreis? Adala?" Sami turned to the other two girls, completely ignoring the former actress.
"Oh, please. I know how to do a grand makeover. That's easy." Adala boasted with a smirk. Arreis also followed with a nod.
"Same, except for the easy part." Said the veteran.
"Nice. I guess we'll just follow what Adala and Arreis say. I can help out with the costumes as usual, and maybe Vanessa can help me out." Sami summarized.
"That sounds alright." Arreis nodded.
"Um, what about-"
"Let's start." Sami declared as she gestured to Adala, Vanessa, and Arreis towards Faith, who was still seated on the spinning chair with a very observant face.
Faith (TDA1 Alumna): "Are they having… some kind of conflict or something? Because I really sense something… not good here."
Adala (Minor): "Is it just me or has been Sami ignoring Sybil just now? Or maybe something happened yesterday or something and I don't know about it?"
Room 3 - Minor Boys (Zack, Colin, Pierre, Gordon, Robert, Gabe)
"Hmm…" Zack skimmed the paper Don had just given him. "Soft?"
"Yeah, soft." Don nodded in confirmation. "What about it?"
"Wait… how are we supposed to do… soft or whatever this theme is?" Robert raised an eyebrow.
"That, I can't help you. You have to figure that out yourselves." Don smirked. "Good luck." He added, closing the door behind him.
Gabe sighed as they had no idea how to put this all together. "Now what?"
Clayton seated on the spinning chair. "Maybe… light colors or something? You know, something that doesn't seem too dark or flashy?"
Colin analyzed what Clayton said. "...maybe he's right."
"Same. That was what I was thinking too." Gordon nodded, looking at the makeup kit not too far from them. "Are we gonna look weird as boys doing makeup?"
"Yes." Colin sighed. "I don't really see any males give makeup to others. It just sounds… wrong?"
"We're lowkey pulling off an Ezekiel in here." Gabe chuckled. "But hey, if girls can do it, so can we. We're definitely not losing to the Major team."
Clayton laughed at Gabe's sudden words of encouragement. "Yeah, you guys can go ahead and start. You'll know if it's easy or not."
Robert grabbed the makeup kit, opened it, and gasped at the tools… or… makeup… in it. "Whoa. Okay, how to do this…?"
Zack grabbed a box of foundation. "Maybe we should use this first or something? It's called foundation after all."
"Nice try, Zack. But that ain't funny." Gordon told him. This caused Zack to pout.
Despite that, he grabbed the sponge from the foundation, applied some powder into it, and turned to Clayton. "Okay, Clayton. Close your eyes."
Colin (Minor): "Why is this making me cringe so hard?"
Clayton squinted his eyes shut as Zack gently dabbed the sponge on the brown haired boy's face. Once he got some powder on Clayton's face, he placed it back on the small box.
"Hoo, that didn't make me feel like a professional." Zack laughed.
"What's next?" Gordon asked. "Blush? Lipstick?"
Robert burst out into laughter. "No offense Gordon, but you suddenly sounded like a girl when you said that."
"Do I get a say in this or something?" Pierre asked from the side.
Gabe laughed. "I literally forgot about you. Sorry 'bout that."
Pierre facepalmed.
Room 4 - Major Girls (Toxa, Beatrice, May, Misha, Mag, Antoinette)
"Ooh, elegant girl vibes." Antoinette grinned as soon as she read the paper after Blaineley left their room. "I think I'm gonna like this challenge."
"Sadly, I doubt it." Olivia commented at her as she plopped herself on the chair. "Doing a makeover is not as easy as you thought it would be."
"Was there a makeup challenge last season, if I may ask?" Beatrice asked as she grabbed the makeup kit.
"No." Olivia shook her head as May approached in front of her with powder.
"Stay still, Olivia." May whispered as she dabbed the sponge on the powder and gently glided it on Olivia's face softly.
May (Minor): "Let's make this kid look like a goddess." Her eyes gleamed.
Misha was watching them interact while picking out a costume with Mag. "We got this round in the bag."
"We surely do." Mag nodded, while browsing some clothes on the clothing rack until she stumbled upon a beautiful, bell-sleeved floral dress. "This one looks good."
"Yeah, let's have her try it later." Misha agreed. "Hope it's not too weird that we're doing the makeup first before the costume."
Misha (Minor): "Let's make this kid look like a fool." She smirked. "Nah, just kidding."
"Hey guys, have you seen Toxa?" Beatrice asked. "How come I haven't seen her ever since we got in here?"
"Maybe she went to the bathroom." May answered as she continued to put a layer of blush on Olivia's cheeks.
"Oh, okay. If you say so." Beatrice shrugged.
Antoinette (Major): "Maybe she went to do some sabotaging… she's always being sus."
Toxa was currently sauntering on the hallways, with a small bottle of… some cream on her hand. The bottle had a label, but it was too hard for the camera to pick up. She looked at the door in front of her.
Backstage Room 1.
She knocked on the door, waiting for an answer while clutching the small bottle on her hand.
Toxa (Major): "Time to kick someone unneeded out of the game."
Room 1 - Major Boys (Lyle, Ryder, Carter, Therion, Rival)
Knock knock knock!
"Who's that?" Ryder asked out loud. "Should I go check it out?"
"Yeah, why not." Therion responded as he and Ruval were looking for some costumes.
Ryder approached the door and carefully opened it, with Carter watching carefully not too far.
"Oh, hey Toxa." Ryder greeted. "What brings you here?"
"We ran out of moisturizing cream." Toxa sighed. "You guys have any more here?"
"There's a spare bottle by the makeup kit." Rival said, pointing to the makeup kit behind him.
"Great, thanks!" Toxa grinned and quickly walked over to the makeup kit where Rival pointed.
Carter was off to the distance helping Lyle fix Xavier, and staring at Toxa intently at the same time.
"You okay, Carter?" Lyle asked as he had just finished fixing Xavier's hair.
"Is something the matter?" Xavier asked as well.
Carter stopped looking at Toxa. "...nothing in particular."
Carter (Major): "Something is… just not right. Why would Toxa come all the way here and ask for moisturizing cream? She could have just asked the hosts or something."
"Found it." Toxa said, holding up another small bottle. She went out the door. "Thanks."
"No problem." Ryder said.
Toxa (Major): She was cackling, holding up the bottle she got from the makeup in the room some of her teammates were in. "Remember the bottle I had earlier? It's full of that strong hair removal cream. I switched it out with their moisturizing cream. So when they use that on Xavier, that's automatic disqualification for them. Which means, someone can go home tonight. It's gonna take effect like… later or something so it will probably take a while."
Back at the room Lyle went up to the makeup kit and grabbed a small bottle. He put a small amount on his fingertips and went back to Xavier.
"Okay Xavier, I'll just put some of this moisturizing cream on your face so… you know." Lyle stated.
"Okay? Just go ahead." Xavier nodded as Lyle began applying some to him.
"Wait Lyle-" Carter stopped him.
"Yeah?"
Carter sighed. "Never mind."
Room 2 - Minor Girls (Sami, Adala, Vanessa, Sybil, Arreis)
The girls from the Minor team were just about done with giving Faith a makeover.
"Looks like we're done." Vanessa cheered. "Wanna look at the mirror or something?"
"Well, what do I look like?"
Faith stepped out of the closet. She had on a long sleeved white blouse along with matching flowing pants. On her feet were white sandals but had heels about an inch high. She also wore a white headband, and on top of that, she had on natural makeup.
"Perfect." Adala squealed. "We are definitely going to win this, guys."
Faith looked at herself in the mirror. "Not bad guys. Good job."
"Let's just hope that the hosts will think so too." Sami added.
"Good job, everyone!" Arreis cheered, followed by the rest of the girls… except for Sybil as she stayed silent throughout the whole ordeal. "So… what do we do now?"
"...Chill?" Faith suggested as she sat back on the chair.
"Yeah."
Room 3 - Minor Boys (Zack, Colin, Pierre, Gordon, Robert, Gabe)
The boys of the Minor team were also about to finish.
"You look pretty neat." Pierre smirked as he smoothed out the creases of Clayton's light blue dress shirt. He also straightened out his jeans (which seemed a bit weird, but let's face it, it's Pierre) and checked to see if his brown loafers were properly worn.
"This looks good but, I don't think we'll win." Colin shrugged.
Gordon raised an eyebrow. "Why?"
"Who knows what's going on with the Minor girls?" He asked.
Zack widened his eyes in realization as he remembered the conflict especially back in the film making challenge.
"Uh… they'll be fine."
"You sure about that?" Robert asked. "You seem to know about something you're not telling us."
"Our team is fine, guys. Really." Zack assured.
Gabe sighed. "Okay, if you say so."
Zack (Minor): "I know both Gordon and Gabe were in my team's last challenge, but I was the only one who witnessed the conflict between Sami and Sybil. Gosh, I hope nothing bad happened…"
Room 4 - Major Girls (Toxa, Beatrice, May, Misha, Mag, Antoinette)
The Major girls were doing their finishing touches on Olivia and her yellow floral dress when suddenly, the door busted open, revealing Toxa.
"Where were you!?" Mag yelled at her. "You literally did nothing to help us out so far!"
"Maybe she had to take a poo." Misha commented, causing Antoinette to burst out into laughter.
"I had to do some stuff." Toxa plainly stated as she placed the moisturizing cream bottle on their makeup kit.
"What stuff exactly?" Beatrice asked back, also getting suspicious with Toxa's actions.
"Definitely she went to do some sabotaging." Antoinette sneered, when Toxa approached her and yanked her hair downwards. "OW! HEY, STOP!"
"SHUT THE HELL UP!" Toxa shouted on her face, then let go of her hair and stormed out.
Olivia widened her eyes. "What in the name of Musimental Island just happened?"
May sighed. "Looks like we know who to vote for."
Toxa (Major): "I can't believe Antoinette knows. She needs to get out. She'll probably be an easy boot as she is very untrustworthy anyway."
Night 8, 7:00 PM
Backstage Rear Chamber, Makeup Studio
Moments later, everyone was back at the studio. The hosts were standing in front of the room. Clayton, Xavier, Faith, and Olivia were standing just behind them. There were chairs for everyone to sit, save aside for the three chairs in the front… Wait, why three?
"Alright everyone!" Chris announced. "Now l' the time for our judges to… well… judge your costumes!"
"And makeup." Don whispered.
"Shut up. It'll sound wrong when I say that." Chris sneered back.
Brea rolled her eyes and carried on. "Anyway, some of our judges couldn't make it today so we have Godfrey replace one of them… but that aside, let's welcome back… Ms. Leticia Henderson!"
Leticia waved at everyone as they applauded and took her spot on the far right chair.
Blaineley cleared her throat. "Next one, we have… Godfrey!"
Godfrey emerged from the door where Leticia entered, waved at everyone as well and finally took a spot next to Leticia.
"And last," Chef began. "We have… Ms. Holly Rosewood!"
Holly came inside the room and sat next to Godfrey's other side. Only a few applauses were heard.
Arreis (Minor): "Why did it have to be her out of all the judges? At least Ms. Leticia's nice."
"Now judges… please state your take on the work of… the girls in the Minor team first." Don announced. "Faith, please step up."
Faith noticed the look on the judges' faces but stepped up anyway.
Leticia examined her first. "Wow, you managed to nail down the chic concept. Bravo."
The Minor team cheered for a bit, as they weren't done yet.
"Yeah, you guys did pretty good on this one." Godfrey nodded in agreement. "Did everyone do their part?"
Adala gasped but tried to lie. "Ye-"
"No." Sami shook her head disappointingly, cutting her off. "Honestly, we did everything but… one of us just didn't… do that much."
Sybil widened her eyes. "Wh-"
Sami (Minor): Sami sighed and smacked her forehead. "Look, you may look at me as some sort of antagonist who's trying to be a bitch, but the whole point is, I want Sybil gone. No, I need her gone. I can't look at her anymore. Even though it isn't her fault that Ashley is no longer with me anymore, I just… can't look at her anymore ever since she revealed that to me. Whether it's true or not. I know it seemed kinda foolish and selfish of me but… it's for the sake of my mentality."
Sybil (Minor): She was rapidly blinking her eyes. "W-why would she just put the blame on me?" Her voice began choking towards the end. "She- I-" she then broke out into a sob. "WHAT THE HELL DID I EVEN DO!? IT'S NOT EVEN MY FAULT! I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF IT WAS HER OR NOT! AND NOW SHE'S JUST… IGNORING EVERYTHING I'M TRYING TO SAY!? It… she…" she buried her face on her hands and began crying, breaking down.
"Tsk tsk tsk." was the sound that escaped Holly's lips. "I have nothing to say."
Faith raised an eyebrow at that comment, but Vanessa in the back sighed in pure frustration.
Vanessa (Minor): "Why is she always like that?"
The three judges whispered to each other for a bit.
"Minor, out of 5 points, you get 3 for this one." Godfrey announced.
The Minor team all gave mixed emotions.
"Next, we'll be having the work of the girls of Team Major! Olivia, please step forward." Blaineley said.
The Major team all hoped that they would get a five for this one.
"It's… too bright." Holly commented.
"I think it's fine." Leticia contradicted. "Godfrey?"
"I'm… gonna have to agree with Holly sadly." Godfrey declared, causing the Major team to be disappointed. "However, you did pretty good on the makeup, it definitely complimented everything, but I'm not saying I wear makeup. No no no."
Everyone looked at Godfrey a bit baffled.
Beeeeep-
A few moments of score-talking later, the scores were quickly in.
"Major, you get 2 out of 5 points." Leticia said.
None of the Major team members reacted.
"Well… next up is… the boys of team Minor. Clayton, please step forward." Don said.
Clayton stepped forward as he was told to. The members of the Minor team were… less nervous, so to speak.
"It's… alright overall." Holly said.
Chris (Host): "ABOUT DAMN TIME SHE SAID A FUCKING POSITIVE COMMENT."
"I think they did a pretty good job." Godfrey said. "It's not as soft as I expected it to be, but overall, pretty decent."
"I'm not a jeans fan, sadly." Leticia laughed. "But I'll say you did pretty good."
They took a few moments once more to walk about the score.
"4 out of 5." Holly said. "Good job."
The Minor team gave looks of relief.
"Alright, last but not the least, boys of Team Major. Xavier, please step up front." Chris ordered.
"Um, why does my face burn?" Xavier squints his eyes. "No seriously, it's like my face is burning just now."
Ryder, Carter, Therion, Rival, and Lyle all looked at each other in panic.
"Uh, what did you guys put in his face?" Carter widened his eyes.
Lyle frantically panicked. "I don't know! All I did was put moisturizing cream on him!"
By this time, Xavier was already screaming in pain, so the medic rushed him out of the auditorium as fast as they could.
Clayton, Olivia, and Faith looked extremely worried, but at the same time, someone is to blame here.
Both Rival and Therion came back in the room with the makeup kit they had in their room earlier. Rival immediately grabbed the bottle, tore off the label and widened his eyes as soon as he read, hair removal cream.
"Uh, Lyle? What the hell were you thinking!?" He scolded him.
"I didn't even know it wasn't the moisturizing cream!" Lyle panicked. "How am I supposed to know!?"
"You could've just tore off the label or something!" Therion shouted.
"Wait." Lyle turned to Carter. "You knew about this, did you!?"
"What do you mean I knew about this?! I just told you to wait just in case if there were any signs of caution!" Carter retaliated.
"Hey, any of you could've read the warning label before using it!" Ryder yelled.
Don shook his head. "Lyle, you're disqualified."
"Disqualified? Disqualified from what?" Lyle widened his eyes.
"From the whole game." Chris added. "You will be taking 22nd place in Total Drama Act II: Musical Power."
"Uh, WHAT!?" Lyle shouted, full of rage. "Wait, IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW!? WHAT THE HELL!?"
"Interns, please escort him out of the building. Immediately. Before anything gets worse." Brea commanded. "Lyle, you're disqualified since you've caused damage to, not a contestant, not a host, not a judge, and not even a staff member or an intern, but someone who is a part of the Act I alumni, and that's… a major offense actually."
"Wait, I swear I didn't know!" Lyle screeched but was escorted out by Ulysses and someone in a black coat. He tried to restrain from them, but failed-
Wait… someone in a black coat?
Godfrey sighed at the situation. "Anyway, since Team Major has been disqualified due to the incident, Minor Team wins the advantage for the next challenge! Congrats."
Everyone shared different emotions due to what had happened.
Auditorium
Moments later, we now pan to the auditorium, where only Chris, Chef, Blaineley, Brea, Don, and Godfrey were present.
"Does this mean the four alumni won't be able to attend the aftermath?" Godfrey wondered.
Don sighed. "Sadly, that's probably the case. The worst part is that their shooting for their next music video is postponed until Xavier gets better."
"Wait… did any of you catch who was that intern in the black coat? The one with Ulysses?" Brea asked. "I mean, he looked too chubby to be Dustin, so I guess that means… uh oh."
"What?" Chef asked.
"I think he's back." Brea sighed.
Blaineley had no idea what everyone was talking about so she just started the outro. "So… will anyone find out that Toxa was the cause of all this and not Lyle?"
"Will Xavier get better in time for the Quadrigon's music video filming and the next aftermath? Don asked.
"Will Sami and Sybil ever solve their growing issue?" Brea added.
"And who is that intern in the black coat?" Godfrey said.
Chris cleared his throat. "Find out next time on-"
