Waking up in a ward in tripler Army medical centre was the last place Nani wanted when arriving back in Hawaii.

The hospital had called her little brother the only person that she had told that she was coming home, she hadn't talked to her father since their parents' divorce. She knew there was a 90% chance her mother was home when the hospital rang. She was 4 years older than her brother and 10 years older than her sister. Her parents had gotten divorced when she was 18 which was 4 years ago just after she had joined the marines.

A young man turned up at the front desk at the hospital while his mother parked the car.
"Can I help you?" the nurse asked
"You guys called about my sister Private First class Nani Strand-Tennant, Alex Tennant by the way. My mom will be through in a few minutes just give her the room number not the name"

He walked to room 45 and caught the end of his sister's conversation.

They both heard footsteps and their mother talking to someone.
"I'm special agaent Kai Holman, this is SAC Jane Tennant, Can you tell us what happened?" the agent asked
Their mother's mouth hang open with shock at her oldest child sitting in a hospital bed with bruises all over her face and a dislocated in a sling.

"Mom you're catching flies. Kai this is private first class Nani Jane Strand-Tennant." Alex said
Kai looked at her mother "Boss, you okay working this since she's your daughter that you didn't tell me about"
Jane was still shocked so she just nodded.

"I was coming out of my doctor's, I've just got back to the island when someone called my name, I was caught off guard and beaten. Next thing I know is I woke up here like this"

"Several from high school, few from my time in the marines."

Alex interrupted "you can also add Kace Howard's brother to the list. He was pretty mad when you turned him down after prom."

"Mom said something about Tyur which is prison and angelu is angel".

Jane said "I said If he hadn't been in prison on the mainland, I would have killed him. No one will harm my angel"
