"Clay, hurry up! We're gonna be late!" Two teens were walking to the UA entrance exam, something that everyone was excited about. They had been waiting years for this and now finally they were going to show the world they could be heroes.

"Stop pulling my arm, you might rip it off." Clay looked at the girl dragging his arm to the door of the building. Kyoka Jiro, one of his best friends in the whole world. Actually, she's probably his only friend in the world after thinking about it.

"Maybe if you didn't sleep in so late, I wouldn't have to rip your arm off." Her Earphone Jack ear lobes began attacking him, stabbing him in the back and arms and causing him to hurry his steps. "I swear, if we're late because of you I'll poke your eyes out."

They eventually made it to the venue, other students in the room and more still filling in. There were open seats near the back of the room, so Clay and Jiro sat down together and waited for the presentation to begin.

"What's up, UA candidates? Thanks for tunin' in to me, your school DJ. C'mon and lemme hear ya!" There was silence in the room before Clay started wooing at the Hero. Jiro next to him scooted a bit away acting as if she didn't know the boy. Other examinees were giving him weird looks as well.

"Thank you for that my new favorite listener! Now let's talk about how this practical exam is gonna go down, K? Like your application said, today you rockin' boys and girls will be out there conducting ten‐minute mock battles in super‐hip urban settings. Gird your loins, my friends. After I drop the mic here, you'll head to your specified battle center, sound good?"

Clay looked at the card in front of him and saw that he was in field C, he looked at Jiro's card and she was in field E. "Guess we won't be meeting each other in the field then." Clay smiled a teethy smile and she rolled her eyes back at him.

"I feel bad for the people in your area, they're likely not going to even get a point with what you're gonna do." Jiro rolled her eyes, and he gave a mock show that he was offended earning a chuckle from the girl.

"If they can't keep up then that's their problem." Clay looks down at his arm, rubbing it and then thought of something and putting a smile on his face. "But I suppose I should give them something to help, so to make it fair I'll only use three monsters."

"Great, you're a real saint, you know that?" Jiro's question was entirely laced with sarcasm, but he still showed a cheeky grin as best he could.

"I know, I bet everyone's going to love me when we get in there." Clay turned his attention back to Present Mic as he continued talking about the exam.

"Okay, okay, let's check out your targets. There are three types of faux villains in every battle center. You'll earn points based on their level of difficulty, so better choose wisely. Your goal in this trial is to use your Quirk to raise your score by shredding these faux villains like a mid‐song guitar solo. But check it! Make sure you're keep'n things heroic. Attacking other examinees is a UA no‐no, ya dig?"

Another of the examinees started talking some nonsense about UA making a mistake on the handout that was in front of the students. Clay rolled his eyes at him; UA doesn't make mistakes. If he had just waited, then Mic probably would have spoken about it.

The hero then spoke about the other enemy and started the process of separating us into our groups. Clay boarded the bus to make his way to ground C, looking around for anyone that looked slightly interesting. Unfortunately, he didn't see anyone that stuck out to me.

"Maybe I should only use two monsters? No one here looks too impressive." He mumbled under his breath, not realizing that he was in actuality speaking out loud with others hearing him. "No, they might have some quirks that are really impressive, three is a good number."

Some of the other examinees looked at Clay with anger in their eyes, others looked at him with confusion and some just ignored the boy. After a few minutes they arrived at the center and exited the bus.

Looking at the area that they would be using to conduct this test Clay couldn't help but think about how much it would cost to make something like this. Then he gained a smirk on his face as he realized that he was about to destroy most of this city with his quirk.

"Right, let's start!" The voice of Present Mic boomed out from our backs while everyone was still admiring the fake city. I didn't need to be told twice and immediately activated my quirk. Appearing on my arm was a blade with five exposed slots and five hidden slots underneath those exposed slots.

My arm had a hole that one would think lead down to the bone, but actually was just a hole that led to nothingness. From the hole though, five cards appeared which I took into my hand, and I inspected.

The other examinees had at this point already entered the arena, running as fast as they could to smash some robots. I on the other hand was walking calmly with a smile on my face as I looked at the cards and selected one to use.

"I activate the Spell Card: [Rage with Eyes of Blue]." I spoke to no one in particular and proceeded to drop the cards in my hand on the ground, them turning to dust as they were banished to activate the effect of my spell card.

"Dragons of light, engines of destruction, pulverize all those who are in my path. I Special Summon three [Blue-Eyes White Dragon]!" Placing the cards that had shot out of my arm hole onto the blade on my arm, three beams of light shot into the sky grabbing the attention of all the contestants in the area.

*ROAR* *ROAR* *ROAR*

Three roars were heard throughout the area, even grabbing the attention of contestants in other arenas, thinking a real villain may have attacked UA. From the beams of light flew three dragons all white in body and with piercing blue eyes.

The dragons all landed behind me and bowed their heads, waiting for the orders of their master. "Haha, that never gets old. Blue eyes, there are robots in the area in front of us. I want you to destroy as many as you can while not hurting any of the other contestants."

*ROAR*

The dragons roared their approval and shot into the air. Other contestants began running away in fear from the dragons that had suddenly appeared in the sky, ignoring the test that was still ongoing and opting to hide.

The dragons upon seeing the robots in the street without any other contestants in the way to possibly get in the crossfire began charging their attacks. Finally, the attacks were charged and the dragons let loose, turning not only the robots to ash but also the buildings and streets.

I watched as all this destruction took place, really hoping that no one was hurt in the blast. A minute after I summoned my dragons my duel disk beeped and ejected another card from my arm hole. I looked at the card and I laughed hysterically.

"Don't you think this is too much? I'm already guaranteed to enter UA at this point, no point showing off." I held the card in my hand and walked around as my dragons continued annihilating any robots they came across.

I tried to help people in the area, those who were nearby where my dragons were and trapped under rubble. I didn't doubt that I would get into UA, but I also wanted to show the school that I wouldn't just have mindless killing machines only destroy everything while I sit back and watch.

"There are two more minutes left of the exam! Hope you've tried your hardest." The voice of Present Mic rang out again causing the other participants to finally come out of their hiding places and desperately search for any surviving robots.

A few seconds after Mic spoke there was a rumbling in the city and the buildings shook. Others turned and thought they would see one of the dragons flying nearby destroying the area, but what they saw was something that no one could have expected.

A giant robot was rising from the city destroying multiple buildings in its vicinity. If I hadn't seen my dragons, then that probably would've been the biggest thing I've seen. Unfortunately, nothing could quite compare to some of the monsters I could summon.

"Maybe this wasn't overkill?" I looked at the card that my disk had spat out and shrugged my shoulders. "Oh well, nothing for me to do. I activate the Spell Card: [Polymerization]!"

A swirling vortex of orange and blue appeared above me and my dragons flew in the vortex as the material for my next summon.

"Feast your eyes on the most powerful of all dragons, in its fully evolved glory! Fusion Summon! Show yourself, [Neo Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon]!"

From the vortex above me came a pillar of light, piercing the sky once again. From within the pillar two white wings, twice the size of the robot appeared, followed by a trident tipped tail. The pillar of light finally began to subside, giving the world a view of my almighty beast.

With orbs of blue light and white scales running along the length of its wings the massive creature was revealed. One head roared from the center mass, where one would assume its head would be, then suddenly another from its left should appeared, roaring like the first followed by the last head on the right shoulder.

The roars were loud enough to shatter the windows of any buildings near us, and even managed to push the robot back a bit. The robot seemed to look up at my dragon before its eyes released a red glow.

"Blue-Eyes, destroy this pesky insect and win me this duel!" The dragon roared to acknowledge my order before each head gathered up orbs of plasma in their maws. The robot tried to approach the dragon but unfortunately it moved too slow to make any progress.

"NEO NEUTRON BLAST!" With one final almighty roar the dragon released the three streams of lightning in its maw at the robot. The blasts punched through the robot and ended up destroying some of the buildings behind it, luckily there were no people there so no one was hurt.

After about 5 seconds the dragon stopped the attack, letting the robot fall to the ground in defeat. A cloud of dust was kicked up, causing me to cover my eyes. But after a moment the dust settled and I was left standing before the robot with my dragon floating behind me, admiring the destruction I just helped create.

"AND TIMES UP! WILL ALL CONTESTANTS PLEASE REMAIN WHERE THEY ARE IF THEY ARE IN NEED OF MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, OTHERWISE HEAD TO THE EXIT OF YOUR CENTER. YOU'LL RECEIVE THE RESULTS IN A WEEKS TIME!"

The sound of Present Mic's voice knocked some sense into the other participants who had stuck around to watch the spectacle. I turned around and didn't bother waiting around for the medical teams, I was completely uninjured.

My dragon unmanifested itself in a burst of yellow particles, showering the city with the yellow snowflake constructs. I didn't doubt that I had made it into the academy, nothing would be able to top a performance like that.

"I hope Jiro made it through, it would suck if she didn't." I hoped on the first shuttle that drove us back to the main campus so people could get changed if they wanted to or leave straight away without changing.

I ended up going straight to the gate to wait for Jiro to arrive, but she ended up beating me to the gate. She was leaning against the gate with her arms crossed, giving a look that I knew all too well. I should probably just run...

"YOU IDIOT!" Too late.

"Hey Jiro... What's up?" I rubbed the back of my head, embarrassed and scared for what was going to come next.

"I saw what you did from my battle center! Why couldn't you just stick to using subtle monsters like you're HERO's, not dragons?!" She ended up sticking her earphone jacks into my ears and letting loose a full blast attack.

"GAH!" I ended up using another part of my quirk, using it to take on the properties of one of my monsters, giving me wings, a tail, sharpened teeth, reptile like blue eyes and some white scales. After a moment the transformation was complete, and the blast wasn't destroying my ears.

"Look, I'm sorry that I ended up going a bit overboard, but I swear it was necessary!" She took her jacks out of my ears and let me rub them to recover, crossing her arms again when she heard what I said.

"It was necessary to blow a hole through the wall of the city center you were in?" Yeah, even I can't defend that.

"Okay, so maybe it wasn't absolutely necessary, but hey, I can pretty much guarantee I got in!" I flashed a toothy grin with my transformation still active. This did seem to calm her down a bit, so she wasn't about to attack me once again, which is a win in my books!

"Whatever, just don't come crying to me when they're asking you to pay for the damages you caused." With that said Jiro began to walk away. I watched her for a bit before remembering that I lived with her family.

My parents were friends with the Jiro's for a while and they lived close enough to UA, so they didn't have to move. My family on the other hand lived pretty far away, meaning we would have to move if I wanted to attend. They ended up making arrangements for me to stay at the Jiro's for the duration of my stay at UA which was super lucky.

"Hey, wait up!" I realized that she was getting further and further away, not slowing down in the slightest.
