Prologue
I never thought my life would become what it had. Sure, hunting the things that went bump in the night was pretty out of the ordinary. But I was prepared for that. I craved it. It was everything else that happened that I still to this day can't get my head around. Family. Love. Hope.
It always felt like my life was a constant storm; the thunder and hail never let up. Hunting let me purge the darkness brewing inside.
Until them. Until him.
Now we're here and I'm finally content. Happy, even. You couldn't feel anything else in this paradise, this… heaven. So I figured it was time to let you all know my story: the story of how I met the Winchesters. (I don't think I'll be able to stop Dean from popping up now and then, giving his two cents. Just let him have his moment.)
But it's a turbulent ride, I can tell you.
