Chapter 32
You look happier you do.
Ain't nobody hurt you like i hurt you.
Nobody loves you like i do.
I'll smile and hide the truth.
"For someone who doesn't care you seem to always find me."
"I'm never looking for you." Brooke replied.
"This town is the size of a shoebox. I glad we can go back to being strangers. I think we're better off that way." Brooke added in.
"It wasn't all bad right.?" Felix asked.
"There were times and moments of joy and happiness sure."
"But that was a long time ago. Why do you ask.?" Brooke asked.
"Maybe being around you reminds me of feelings i don't feel allowed to have." Feliz admitted.
"I'm sure you're wife would love to hear that." Brooke replied.
"When you don't marry for love it's kind of expected that you're not really invested." Felix proclaimed.
Brooke swallowed hard. "So why did you marry her?" She asked. Unsure why she wanted to know.
"We take nice pictures. It's the plan. Apart of the same world."
"Sometimes i wonder what would of happened if i stayed with you and went along with what we wanted." He admitted.
"There is no point to that." Brooke said.
"I would of been here by now. The line was long at the cafe."
"Ready to go for lunch.?" Lucas asked.
"I am. Just waiting for you. Looking up ideas for the wedding."
"Felix was on the way out." Brooke said.
Lucas walked over to where Brooke was and kissed her.
Brooke kissed him back.
Felix quietly left the clothing store. Trying to let go of this consuming longing and jealousy he was having a hard time keeping below the surface.
"I've been looking into some things of my own."
"Houses. Homes that are both our style and they have pools."
"And the window seat in the room Bailey wants." Lucas explained.
"We should have a spacious home. Natural light. An office for you. A room for me to create. A guest room." Brooke replied.
"We haven't really talked about having kids. Would you want anymore.?" Lucas asked.
"I would at least two." Brooke replied.
"I cannot wait for that."
"But what i want is for us to have time alone." Lucas said.
"I want that too. More then you know." Brooke replied.
