Akame ga Kill: Kill the Second Chance.
Quick Note – In the last chapter, I said I would reveal the next four people who will get their spirits after I come up with perfect names and I did; I came with up the perfect names for the spirits, which took a bit since I was having trouble picking names. There were so many good ones for the spirits, and I didn't know which ones to pick, but in the end, I picked the good names.
Here are the next four people in Night Raid to receive their spirits:
Leone's spirit will be a lion, which will be named Luria. The spirit's ability can give her a great enhancement of strength, making her punches and kicks more powerful than before, while being able to lift heavy objects up like boulders without any struggle. It can also give Leone a very durable body and extremely high senses that will warn her if anyone is about to attack her. Like Spear and Chelsea, Leone can use the necklace whenever she wants during the day or night but has to recharge it once she's done using the power and the only way to do that is by placing the necklace in the wild forest.
Sayo's spirit will be a dragon, which will be named Kaliyah. The spirit's ability can produce a special set of arrows that can pierce through any type of armor, including defensive Teigu's like Incursio, while giving Sayo sharp dragon eyes to see anything in the dark and detect enemies faster than a blink of an eye. It can also make her fly in the air like Akame's spirit and give her a hardened body of scales. However, once Sayo uses the necklace's power, she must absolutely make sure no one attacks it since it becomes vulnerable during battle. One attack and the necklace won't be available to use until a few days.
Cosmina's spirit will be a rabbit, which will be named Bella. The spirit's ability can make her Teigu – Heavy Pressure, a microphone that can brutally kill enemies or innocents by shattering the bones with ultrasonic waves, due to the user's amplified voice – much stronger than before, pulverizing not only humans but Danger-Beasts as well. The spirit can also make Cosmina control people and obey whatever she commands but would only work if she's in her spirit form. Otherwise, it won't work. There's no downside, but the necklace has to recharged after using it and the only way to do that is by singing a few songs, which can be anything type like rock or calm.
Suzuka's spirit will be a mummy, which will be named Neith. The spirit's ability can improve her superhuman abilities, which are strength, speed, endurance and durability, to the point she can be impossible to kill. Even Akame's Murasame won't be able to kill her. But one person can. The spirit can also give Suzuka the power to summon spiritual mummies. It's like the same as Najenda's spirit, but Suzuka's spirit will only summon mummies, no other creatures or animals. There is no downside, but the necklace has to be recharged after using it and the only way to do that is by playing it in a fresh roll of bandages.
Alright, that is the next four people from Night Raid getting their spirits. I know you guys would write about the last two members not being in Night Raid, but since Cosmina and Suzuka are going to be joining in the future, I decided to write them so that I won't be confused when I start writing the spirits for the Jaegers. So, here are Cosmina's and Suzuka's spirits for the story.
With the four people who got their spirits out of the way, it's time to get on with the story. Let's head right into the chapter!
Enjoy the chapter.
Chapter Six: Reunion with Night Raid.
Previously in the last chapter.
Seeing the sad look on Tatsumi's face, along with the tears in his eyes, made Leone walk towards him and gently embrace him in a hug, her head resting on his shoulder. She felt Tatsumi become startled and tense in the hug, which made her tense as well, thinking she did something wrong. But the tension vanished when Leone felt Tatsumi's strong arms wrapped around her back, making the former breath out an inward sigh of relief. She didn't do anything wrong, she had only startled Tatsumi.
'I wish I can enjoy more of these warm hugs in the future,' Leone thought, the tears in her eyes finally streaming down her face once again and landing on Tatsumi's shoulder. 'But I can't. Tatsumi has fused with a Tyrant instead of having the scent on him and I have to report this to Night Raid. They are going to make sure he gets assassinated, no matter how hard he tries to explain himself.' The image of Tatsumi being assassinated popped into Leone's mind and it caused more tears to stream down her face. 'It sucks that there's nothing I can do to change Night Raid's mind about killing Tatsumi.'
'I don't want to let go of Leone at all,' Tatsumi thought, releasing his own tears and hugging Leone close to his chest, afraid to unwrap his arms around her. 'I'm scared that if I do, she could suddenly drop dead with bullet holes in her stomach and a pool of blood forming underneath her. I really don't want to see that in my mind again.'
The date, which had once been comfortable, now turned into sadness as both assassins continued to hug each other and cry silently about the different thoughts in their heads.
(In the Present; With Tatsumi and Leone)
How long has it been since Tatsumi and Leone held each other and cried when they were about to head their separate ways? A few minutes? Half an hour? An hour? The two didn't know but didn't care as they continued to hold each other with tears streaming down their faces.
It was rather unnerving for two adults who don't know each other quite well to cry heavily from going separate ways – it's like couples breaking up and never meant to see each other again – but Tatsumi and Leone had extremely great reasons to cry heavily.
One had to go back and tell Night Raid about what she learned during the date, which eventually destroys the chance of a relationship she had longed to have with a handsome man who can love her, understand her, comfort her, protect her and care for her. Leone hoped she can convince Night Raid not to kill Tatsumi, even though it was greatly impossible since she knew they won't listen to her, due to her habit of killing people for fun. Not innocent people, but corrupted people.
The other didn't want to let go of a very close friend he hadn't seen in eight years, a very close friend whose death still haunts his mind ever since he met her a couple hours ago after being kicked out from the inn he had been staying at upon arriving the heavily corrupted Capital. Tatsumi just didn't want to let Leone go in fear she could suddenly drop dead with bullet holes in her stomach, which made him become very angry at the person responsible for her death.
The Prime Minister of the Empire: Honest.
Oh, how Tatsumi hated the old man who pretend to be a kind person to the emperor when he's nothing more than a very sick, sadistic cruel pig underneath with every fiber in his body. It was because of him the brown-hair assassin lost everything in the old timeline, including his friends, his childhood friends and the person he loved the most, Esdeath. He will make sure Honest receives a very slow, tortuous, brutal painful death in all time that will certainly haunt the old man forever even in hell.
After a few more minutes of crying heavily while still continuing to hold each other, Tatsumi and Leone finally ended the embrace but didn't pull their arms away as they now stared into each other's wet eyes, their faces strained with tears.
The silence between Tatsumi and Leone was uncomfortable and awkward, which is an understatement, given they don't know what to say after crying for so long. What can they even say to begin with? It wasn't like they could just go back to the way things were moments ago where they had been enjoying each other's company. No, that ship has long since sailed after Tatsumi revealed he was a half human/half Danger-Beast hybrid to Leone.
"Well…" Tatsumi stated, breaking the uncomfortable awkward silence and trying to make a conversation. "This is rather awkward."
"That's the understatement of the century, Tatsumi," Leone agreed, letting out an amused snort before wiping the tears off her face with her hands. Tatsumi did the same thing to his own face. "I couldn't form words at all to break the silence because I feared I might say something regrettable. Like I said before, I never been in this type of situation and I'm still not sure what to say or do, despite the fact we hugged each other."
"I know and I don't know to say or do either, Leone, even though we did hug each other like you said. That counted as something to do."
"True, the hug did make me feel a bit better, but I still feel sad."
"Want another hug?" Tatsumi suggested with a small smile. Leone immediately nodded, happy to take in more of the warmth that makes her feel safe. The two went to embrace each other again and this time, they had smiles on their faces instead of tears.
After another few minutes of holding each other in silence, Tatsumi and Leone ended the hug in happy spirits, the sad feeling they had when they don't want to go their separate ways completely vanished. They were now prepared to go their separate ways, but before they could leave the private room, Leone stopped Tatsumi.
"Hold on, Tatsumi," Leone said, getting Tatsumi to pause from walking over to the door and turned towards her. "Before we leave and go our separate ways, I want to give you a token of gratitude for cheering me up twice in a row during our date. I almost forgotten about it until now."
"And what would this token of gratitude be, Leone?" Tatsumi asked curiously, wondering what Leone was going to give him.
"This."
Without any hesitation, Leone grabbed onto Tatsumi's face with both hands, closed her eyes and pulled him towards her to crash their lips against each other, initiating a passionate kiss. Tatsumi's eyes widen in shock at first from what Leone had done, but instead of pulling away, he closed his eyes and kissed her back with equal passion, wrapping his arms around her waist to pull her closer to him. He almost moaned into the kiss when he felt Leone's huge breasts pressed against his chest; they were so incredibly soft and squishy.
A moan left Leone's mouth when she felt Tatsumi kissed back, which gave him the opportunity to thrust his tongue inside her mouth where their tongues swirled around in an epic battle. As they continued to passionately make out in the private room, not caring if a waiter comes in to interrupt, the busty blonde wrapped one arm around the brown-hair assassin's neck to deepen the kiss, while using the other to run through his brown locks. In response, Tatsumi kept one arm around Leone's waist but moved his other to her jiggly plump ass where he began rubbing, kneading and squeezing it roughly.
Feeling her ass get roughly handled by those strong hands made Leone let out a loud moan in Tatsumi's mouth, the wonderful noise being music to his ears and almost making him give into his Danger-Beast instincts, something he quickly suppressed before it took over his mind. He had no intention of letting his instincts take over and mate Leone into oblivion inside this room where many people could hear.
Tatsumi discovered his Danger-Beast instincts when he reached puberty a few years ago and he has been suppressing it ever since then. It's not like he wanted to mate Leone – he really does because she is someone he has feelings for and it's not because of her voluptuous hourglass figure but her caring heart – it's just he wants to focus on rejoining Night Raid again and saving Sayo from the noble heiress before he starts mating with beautiful women.
Tatsumi only needs more time to prepare himself before he's ready to start mating.
Eventually, the passionate kiss between Tatsumi and Leone had to end because they need to pull away for air, something they clearly didn't want to do. They want to continue ravishing each other's lips and mouths! But it wasn't until their lungs started to hurt that they finally, yet reluctantly, pulled away from each other, not before giving one last kiss. Tatsumi and Leone, both panting a bit heavily and blushing from the kiss, brought their foreheads together and open their eyes to stare at each other, a thin string of saliva connected to the tip of their tongues.
"There…" Leone panted as she continued to stare at Tatsumi's beautiful emerald-green eyes with half-lidded eyes, not regretting what she just did moments ago. She knew without a doubt Tatsumi is the perfect man for her and it's the reason why she gave away her first kiss. "There's your…token of gratitude…Tatsumi. My very first kiss…" Leone slowly licked her lips, along the thin string of saliva, to taste more of Tatsumi.
"That was amazing…" Tatsumi breathed out, also continued to stare at Leone's golden eyes with half-lidded eyes as well, while completely inwardly stunned at what happened. Leone has never once kissed him before, not even in the old timeline, except licking his ear in a seductive manner. Either way…Tatsumi greatly enjoyed the kiss. "Does this make us a couple now, Leone, or is it too early to tell since we still barely know each other?"
Leone's half-lidded eye stare vanished once the question registered her mind, and she became highly unsure. "I…I don't know, Tatsumi, I never been in a relationship before. I think maybe not because couples would need to know each other more instead of going on one date. I could be wrong, though."
"We don't have to become a couple now, Leone," Tatsumi quickly reassured the blonde-hair woman who was looking more unsure of herself. "We can go on a couple more dates in the future to decide if we are a couple. Until then, we can just stay as two people seeing each other."
"I could work with that," Leone said, nodding her head in agreement after thinking the idea over. "But I don't think we are going to see each other again since I have rather complicated work in the Capital. It takes so much of my time I won't be able to visit the districts or the bar we're currently in."
'Complicated work in the Capital, huh?' Tatsumi repeated the words Leone said in his mind. He mentally snorted. 'That's a new one, Leone, I'll give you that. You did say about having military connections in the Imperial Army, only to have connections to the Revolutionary Army. Your cunning skills may fool lots of people, but it's not fooling me, especially since I learned my mistake in the old timeline.'
On outside appearance, Tatsumi offered Leone a sympathy glance. "I can understand the feeling of complicated work, Leone. Work always comes first before visiting the districts in the Capital or coming to a bar to relax."
Truth be told, Tatsumi hadn't really experienced any complicated stuff for the last eight years, but he did have a bit of trouble making the necklaces for Night Raid since he wasn't sure what animals to channel through. He even made one for himself and he hasn't used it ever since. Tatsumi was waiting to use the necklace at the right time.
"Yeah, work sucks," Leone's rather blunt agreement made Tatsumi laughed out loud. Man, how he missed this woman ever since he first met her in the old timeline. He couldn't wait to see the other members of Night Raid in a few days.
After talking a bit more about trying to see each other again in the future, which will happen very soon in a few days, Tatsumi and Leone finally went their separate ways after leaving the private room and the bar, not before giving each other a short passionate kiss on the lips. They did this in the private room they rented because they don't want the citizens to spread rumors, which could lead to bad consequences.
As Tatsumi and Leone continued to head their separate ways, both were having different thoughts running through their heads.
'Well, I guess that's it,' Leone thought, letting out a huge sigh as she came to a stop from the direction she walked. 'The end of a relationship I had longed to have with a handsome man. I knew it wasn't going to happen ever since Tatsumi revealed he fused with a Tyrant instead of having the scent all over him, but I held on the hope inside me… that we can start a relationship, regardless of Night Raid's intentions about killing him. Only I was wrong.' Leone let out another sigh, this one being sad. 'There's no doubt me and Night Raid will have to take out Tatsumi in the future since he is an official enemy for fusing with a Tyrant. Damn, this sucks.'
'Alright, you noble heiress bitch, I hope you and your family are ready to meet death soon,' Tatsumi thought angrily, his emerald-green eyes changing into crimson-red with the pupils becoming cross-eye as he continued to walked in the direction he chose moments ago. He had his hood up concealing his face, so he's not worried about anyone discovering his eyes. 'Because I'm about to kill you all very slowly, brutally and mercilessly for harming my childhood friend who had done nothing wrong to you. You will all die by my hand.'
Alright, I'm ending the part chapter right there, despite me wanting to keep writing, because I want to get this story up and running. It's been four months since I last posted a chapter and I feel extremely bad for making you guys wait that long. I didn't even realize it has been that long until I checked the date. Very sorry about that.
I'll try to write the next part chapter for this story as quickly as possible since I have a few ideas how to start it off. I might even start writing it in order to make up for the long-waited update, even though this part chapter is making up for it. But I want to take a small break for a day since writing this caused me to become stressed.
Also, I just recently posted a new story called Cursed Hiccups. You should check that out if you're interested.
I'm very sorry for the long-waited update and I hope this part chapter makes up for it.
Write a review if you like this story and enjoy the chapter.
