Chapter 20 - Rainbow Badge
Azlan, Sabrina, Elysia and Freya reached Celadon City, where they noticed some posters were posted on every place.

POKEMON CONTEST FOR ALL AGES TRAINERS
'You are welcome to come to our festival and participate in our challenge to get the rare Pokemon, not only would you be able to keep the Pokemon if you win. You will also receive a Kings Rock.'
Sabrina is excited after hearing the prize "Honey, I need this prize, I want to evolve my Slowbro, in Slowking. Can you win this King Rock for me?" She stared at him with her puppy dog eyes.
"Ok, I entered this contest, and got it for you, my dear," Azlan said, and he patted her head. She gives a smile filled with pleasure.
They were just going to enter the contest when they heard.
"Honey, I need this prize, I want to evolve my Slowbro, in Slowking, you win the king rock for me."
"Ok, I will enter this contest, or try to win, but do not blame me if I am not able to win this."
They thought that someone was copying them, but when they turned around, there were two girls and two guys standing, just not far from them.
They were Ash, Misty, Brock and some unknown girl. Azlan knew them except for the unknown girl.
The girl was holding the collar of the Ash and shaking, she warned, "If you do not win this. Then I will not only blame you, but also punish you by taking you shopping." Ash's face became horrified after hearing this.
But since it was not Azlan and his wives' problem, they turned back, and went to where the festival was arranged.
"Let's enter the festival," Azlan said, and four of them went towards the gate.
"Excuse me sir, have you come here for the competition," A man told them at the entrance.
"Of course," Azlan nodded, handing him the flier.
"Come this way please," The man brings them to the stage.
"Here they should tell you when to start and when you will get the Pokeball you will use to capture a Pokemon."
"Thanks," Azlan thanked him before heading to the stage, with Sabrina, Elysia and Freya following him close behind.
"Welcome everyone to our annual festival, today we gather here together to witness our Pokemon competition. In this competition trainers will try to get the unique Pokemon, the rewards are to be able to keep the Pokemon and you will receive a Kings Rock," The announcer announced at the top of the stage.
Everyone in the crowd began screaming and clapping. "All trainers who will participate please come forward." Shouted the announcer. Then a lot of trainers moved forward to the stage including Azlan, Sabrina, Elysia and Freya, who decided she would participate. They noticed that the Ash and the black haired girl were also participating.
"Now, please come and get the Pokeball you will be using today," Shouted the announcer before trainers got the Pokeballs from the boxes.
"Well we were using Ultraballs for this, that's rare. I wonder how they got their hands on something as rare as this," Ash guessed looking at the Pokeball.
"Everybody you may now begin," Shouted the announcer before everybody ran into the forest.
"Alright let's go," Azlan shouted, together with Sabrina, Elysia and Freya they ran toward the forest.
While they were searching for the Pokemon, they noticed Ash thrown his Pokeball on a girl's head.
"He was really stupid," Azlan said, as he saw this Ash guy two or three times. But everytime he does weird things, just like now.
"Now I got you," Ash shouted before throwing a Pokeball, and then he heard a scream.
"Who threw that?" Someone shouted.
Ash quickly ran away. "Whoa that was close," He said trying to catch his breath before he heard someone saying. "There you are".
In front of him stood a woman dressed in a kimono. "Who are you?" Ash asked, looking confused.
"I'm the person who got hit by your recklessness at throwing a Pokeball," Woman said glaring at him.
"I'm so sorry about that, I hit you. I only saw a shadow so I thought it was Pokemon," Ash confessed his crime, while scratching the back of his head.
"You thought, but you didn't really think that. You are a stupid," Woman replied before turning her head away.
"Oh so now you're calling me stupid is that it. You want me to teach you a lesson," Ash asked after getting up.
"I am not calling you stupid. In reality you are a stupid," She shouted.
Ash felt bad for his behavior, when he noticed the girl was getting angry at him.
"I am really sorry, really really sorry," Ash apologized by joining both his hands in front of him.
She was impressed by his behavior, "Ok, this time I forgive you, but next time you are ready for punishment." She said before walking away.
They noticed a group of Ralts, "This was mine," Ash quickly shouted, as he jumped in front of the Ralts.
"No, this is mine," The girls, who were called stupid the Ash, also jumped in front of them.
"Azlan, I needs this, this is so cute," Freya said by making her face like , that's was the Azlan tactics. But after Sabrina started making this, Freya also copied. What was the time when Azlan made this face, and melted Freya. Now it was the opposite.
"Ok, ok," Azlan nodded, as he came in the middle of the group.
"Hello everyone, since there are already many Ralts, why are you guys still fighting, just take each one for you," Azlan said. Then he turned towards one Ralts, "Can you please tap in her Pokeball, and became her Pokemon," He pointed to Freya's Pokeball.
Ralts started blushing after hearing Azlan's sweet's voice, and before Azlan said something more, the Ralts went and touched the Pokeball of Freya.
"Now, happy," Azlan asked her, Freya gave a smile and nodded. Azlan turns back to the girl and Ash, "Ok guys, see you later," And he goes to find other Pokemon.
Ash and the girl are shocked, they didn't know, just what happened. Then he remembered that this guy's name is Azlan, and he was the same guy, who likes to keep his Pokemon outside, just like now.
"Well, whatever, now it was my turn," Ash said, then he focused on Ralts. His eyes turned purple, "You will come with me right, you will help me to win the King Rock and save me from punishment, right."
The Ralts didn't what happened to her, she goes and touched the Pokeball and capture herself. "See, it's so much easier," Ash showed off as he gave a proud look to the Kimono girl.
The Kimono wearing girl is first shocked, then she is amazed, and her face also becomes puppy eyes. "You have mistaken me for the Pokemon, right, please also help me," She said while shaking his hands.
"Okay, okay," Ash nodded, then he turned towards the other Ralts, his eyes again turned purple, "Hello cute Ralts, why didn't you just put her Pokedex." The Ralts again didn't know what happened to her, and just like a machine she followed the command and caught herself in the Kimono wearing girl's Pokeball.
"Thank you, thank you, my name is Erika," The kimono wearing girl said and gave a kiss on Ash's cheeks.
Meanwhile at the other place, "Now the Beldum is mine, or with this the Pokemon, I win the King Rock and punish my dear boyfriend for not winning." Pakura said to herself and started laughing.
When the participants were still searching for the Pokemon, an announcer shouted, "Hello everyone, now the time is over, please stop capturing the Pokemon, and return to the stage."
Everyone stopped capturing the Pokemon, and returned back to the stage. Many of the participants who have caught the Pokemon are separated from the group, which didn't catch it.
"Now everyone shows us the Pokemon, which you caught," Announcer said.
Everyone started, show the Pokemon, which they caught. Someone has caught Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Rattata, Bulbasaur, Cubone and many others.
Finally Freya, Erika and Ash were left. Erika threw her Pokeball and a Ralts came out, "Amazing guys, amazing, she is the clear winner. She caught a Ralts, being the Cutest and best Pokemon so far, which is also not relative to our region. It impresses folks," The announcer shouted.
Then Freya takes the stage, and throws her Pokeball, and once again a Ralts comes out. This time everyone becomes shocked, "Well everybody looks like a tie between participant Erika and participant Freya, now only one our last participants Ash Ketchum was left."
"Alright my turn," Ash said before stepping onto the stage and releasing the Pokemon and putting it on the scale. "Impressive folks, again impressive, today we have three participants who have a tie. We have decided to settle this by the battle with the Pokemon they caught to see who is going to advance." Shouted the announcer.
"I will not participate in this round, I surrender," Erika said, since Ash has helped her catch the Pokemon, she decided to withdraw from it, and left the festival.
"Okay guys, now only two participants are left," The announcer shouted, he didn't know, what's happening today.
"Guess this Ash kid is going to lose this competition so soon I feel bad for him," Freya said, loud enough for the whole crowd to hear, including Ash.
"Why that little, I swear I will teach her to not get overconfident," Mumbled Ash under his breath.
"Now will trainer Ash Ketchum and Freya Starwind, please step into the battlefield," Announcer shouted.
Both Ash and Freya stepped into the field and Ash was shocked at who was standing in front of him. "Why do you call me little," He asked after throwing his Pokeball.
"It's because you are younger than me," Freya replied before throwing the Pokeball.
Both of them released Ralts. "Ralts use Magic Leaf, before her Ralts," Freya shouted, her Ralts hit Ash's Ralts by gathering the leaf.
It makes the Ash's Ralts near fainted, he greeted his teeth when he noticed his Ralts was going to be defeated already without using any move.
But then suddenly a magic happens, the Ash's Ralts started glowing, and when the light faded, Ralts evolved into Kirlia.
"What a game changer guys, it really was a game changer. Ash's Ralts at the last moment evolved into Kirlia and turned the match into her favor," The announcer shouted.
"Now it's my turn, Kirilia, Leaf Blade," And Kirlia gathered the leaf into her hands, which turned into the shape of a blade, and then with one move, Ralts was defeated.
"Freya's Ralts are unable to battle, which means Ash is the winner of this competition." Shouted the announcer making the crowd scream and clap.
"Alright, good job Kirlia." Ash said while hugging Kirlia, Kirlia started blushing with his hug. He returns Kirlia back to her Pokeball. Ash went up to the stage and received the Kings Rock.
"I can't believe I lost to him." Freya said in shock.
The Freya's Ralts show a depressed look, "It's okay," Azlan came and patted the Ralts, and Erika while using his Time Powers, he healed Ralts.
Ralts felt so much comfortable with the Azlan' pats, and then she also started glowing, when the glow was over, she had also transformed into Kirlia.
"I am sorry, I wasn't able to King Rock," He said to Sabrina.
"It's ok dear, we will find another place," Sabrina said.
"Let's go to the Celadon Gym," Azlan said, and they left the festival.
Ash goes to Pakura, he gives her the King Rock. "Good job honey, you actually won." Pakura said with a saddened voice.
"Yes, I have won this, but why are you sad? Now since we have King Rock let's evolve your Slowpoke" Ash said, he gave her the King Rock.
"You know why I am sad, because I miss your punishment, but there was a reward for you," Pakura said while taking Ash in her arms and leaned in for kisses. They also goes for the Celadon Gym.

Azlan, Sabrina, Elysia and Freya have reached the Celadon Gym, its design looks like the shape of Gloom Pokemon.
But before they entered the Gym, some girls stood in his way. But before they asked him some questions, they were shocked by seeing his cute looks. Although in the Pokemon World, people have the most craze for Pokemon more than handsome boys and beautiful girls.
But still, some of them still fall for the boys and girls. B
Just like in the present, before the girls asked Azlan something to Azlan, he had already entered the Gym.
"Hello, is anyone here?" Azlan asked.
"Yes, I am, what do you need?" A girl's voice came out. It was the same girl, who was present in the festival, Erika.
"Oh, so you are the Gym Leader," Azlan nodded looking at her.
"Yes, I am the Gym Leader of Celadon Gym, Erika," Erika answered.
"Ok, I am here to challenge you with the Gym Battle," Azlan replied.
"Ok, as the Gym Leader of Celadon Gym, I am accepting your challenge," Erika accepted.
"This will be the two on two battle between the Gym Leader Erika and Challenger Azlan Starwind. And the first one to lose both Pokemon will become the loser. Let's begin," The referee announced.
"Ok," Azlan nodded, "Charmeleon, go for the battle." Charmeleon jumped in the arena.
"Go Tangela, I choose you," Erika shouted while throwing her Pokeball.
A Pokemon comes out, which has the vine over all of his body.
"Eeeewww, what a disgusting Pokemon," Freya comments, as she closes her eyes.
"Tangela, use Vine Whip," Erika shouted, Tangela used her vine to hit the Charmeleon.
"Charmeleon, use Smokescreen," Azlan commanded. Charmeleon created the Smokescreen, then Tangela was not able to see in the smoke, and Charmeleon dodged the Vine Whip easily.
As the smoke vanished, "Tangela, use Stun Spore." Erika shouted, and Stun Spore came out of Tangela going towards the Charmeleon.
"Charmeleon, used Flamethrower," Azlan commanded, and then Charmeleon used the Flamethrower, causing the Stun Spore to vanish, and some of them hit Tangela.
Before even Tangela became fine, "Now, end with Fire Punch," Azlan commanded, and Charmeleon hands started gathering the fire, and then with his punches, Tangela collided on a corner, then he fell with the swirling in his eyes.
"Tangela is unable to battle, this round goes for the Charmeleon, Gym Leader sends your next Pokemon," The Referee announced.
"Kirlia, go for it," Erika shouted, and then she threw the Pokeball, from which Kirlia came out. It shows that Erika's Ralts also evolved into Kirlia, from which Azlan deduced, maybe the Ralts group has reached their limits for evolving.
"Lucario, go for the battle," Azlan commanded, and from behind him, Lucario jumped on the stage.
"Which Pokemon is this," Erika was confused, as she took out her Pokedex, but its data showed an error.
"Kirlia use Confusion," Erika shouted, Kirlia's eyes started swirling, and she was making Lucario confused.
"Lucario, calm yourself, and use Focus," Ash commanded, Lucario closed his eyes, and through the Aura, he focused on Kirlia.
Seeing no results, "Kirlia, use Psycho Cut." Quickly Kirlia slashed his arm sending a circle of Psychic energy towards the Aura Pokemon.
"Lucario, use Aura Shield," Azlan commanded, and then Lucario created a Sphere around him to save himself from the Psycho Cut.
"Now, end with the Aura Sphere," Azlan ordered, then Lucario created the Aura in his hands and threw it on Kirlia, knocking her out.
"Kirlia is unable to fight, the winner is Azlan Starwind of this battle," The Referee announced.
"This Rainbow Badge is the proof of your Victory," Erika said, giving him the Rainbow Badge.
"Thanks," Azlan nodded, as he was ready to goes out, then he noticed Ash Ketchum with the black haired girl come inside the Gym.
"Hello, is anyone here, I have come for the Gym battle," Ash shouted after coming inside.
"Yes, I am, welcome to my Gym," Erika replied with a surprise to see Ash.
"E-Erika what are you doing here?" Ash asked, his eyes widened in surprise. Then he noticed the Azlan group. "Hello, Azlan, why did you come here?"
"Just like you, for the Gym Battle," Azlan answered. Ash nodded, but his focused return back to Pakura, when she questioned her.
"Ash, how did you know her?" Pakura asked, looking angry, she forgot Ash also knows Azlan, while she thought, 'I wonder how he knows someone like that, I bet they have a secret relationship.'
"Yeah, I kind of threw a Pokeball at her by accident, because I thought she was a Pokemon." Ash said, scratching the back of his head. "And also helped her in catching the Ralts."
"How do you get a person mixed up with a Pokemon?" Pakura scolds him by slapping him in the back of his head.
"It was an accident, and I am already apologizing to her." Ash confessed holding the back of his head in pain.
"Hi my name is Erika, I am the Celadon City Gym Leader." Erika replied, smiling at the two of them.
"Hi, my name is Pakura Ameyuri," Pakura said, smiling at her, but from her expression, it clearly shows she was angry.
Ash noticed this, so he decided to get their attention. "Hey come on, let's have a Gym battle. That is the reason I came here."
"That's okay with me, let's battle with the two on two Pokemon," Erika agreed, smiling at Ash, making him blush slightly. Pakura noticed and sent a glare at Erika, which Erika just responded to by sticking her tongue out.
"Hey Ash, you became ready," said Erika, grabbing one of her Pokeballs.
"I'm sure that you will put up a good fight," said Ash reaching for his own Pokeball.
Both threw their Pokeballs out into the field, Ash released his Kirlia and Erika released her Gloom. Kirlia first goes to Ash and starts hugging him before going to battle.
"This will be a two on two Gym battle between Gym leader Erika and trainer Ash Ketchum, let the battle begin." Shouted the referee before signaling them to begin.
"Gloom, use Stun Spore," Erika said, before vines shot from Gloom and wrapped around Kirlia. Stun Spore came out of Gloom and headed for Kirlia.
"Kirlia, use Light Screen," Ash ordered, and Kirlia began making a barrier around itself preventing the Stun Spore from entering it.
"Kirlia use Confusion" Shouted Ash, Kirlia quickly confused Gloom, making him let him go and walk around randomly.
"Kirlia, now use Fire Punch," Ash commanded, and Kirlia's fist got hot and began burning, she punched Gloom sending it flying.
"Gloom no," Shouted Erika. Gloom fell on the ground but stood up. "I knew you could do it," Erika cheered, but before she commanded.
"Now use Psycho Cut," Ash commanded. Quickly Kirlia slashed his arm sending a circle of Psychic energy and hitting Gloom head on.
"Gloom," Erika shouted, before running up to Gloom who was knocked out.
"Did you have to be so harsh," Erika shouted, tears forming in her eyes.
But to Erika's surprise Ash hugged her and looked her in the eyes. "I'm sorry, it's my fault that your Gloom is in this condition," Ash whispered, before reaching into his backpack and pulling out a potion, which he sprayed on Tangela.
"There she should be feeling better," Ash said, getting up and putting his potion in backpack.
Meanwhile, Azlan and his wives looked over the battle, "How can Erika become like this? Soft and silly, she was not like this, when you battle her," Sabrina comments.
"She has fallen in love," Freya replied.
"Really," Sabrina asked, which Freya replied by just pointing her fingers towards them.
Sabrina then focused on Ash and Erika's situation.
"Thank you Ash," Erika said, covering her face with her hand's to hide her blush.
Pakura saw the whole thing and became really angry, she ran up to Ash and slapped him in the back of his head. "What was that all about Ash?" Shouted Pakura looking at Ash with a deadly glare.
"I was just helping her Pokemon," Ash said, rubbing the back of his head in pain.
"Oh really, it looked more like you were flirting with her." Pakura said, tears forming in her eyes.
"No it's not like that." Ash said, picking her chin up. "You know, I love you," Ash whispered, before leaning in and kissing Pakura on the lips.
"Oh Ash, you're so sweet." Pakura smiled, when they parted.
Erika just looked at the whole play and felt herself get filled with anger and got an idea.
Much to everybody's surprise Erika ran up to Ash and kissed him on the lips before sliding her tongue in his mouth, she then stopped and looked at Ash and gave him a wink before running off, knowing Pakura would kill her for pulling something like that off.
Ash just stood there in shock while Pakura ran after Erika. 'What just happened here' thought he before chasing after Pakura.
Azlan and his group left the scene, after seeing their banter, for their next Gym Battle.
Meanwhile, outside the Gym, after a lot of running Ash caught up to the two girls who were screaming at each other. "Hey girls, calm down," he said, separating the two girls.
"You stay out of this," Erika and Pakura said in unison, pushing Ash out of the way.
"How about a Pokemon battle, whoever wins keeps Ash and whoever loses has to go home," said Erika smirking.
"Fine then," Pakura shouted.
"Wait Pakura, I am not here for the prize of battle," Ash said, stepping in front of the girls.
"I forgot." Agreed Pakura scratching the back of her head.
"See stupid girl like you doesn't deserve Ashy" said Erika nuzzling up to Ash.
"The perfect girl for Ash is me."
"Hey only I can say his nickname Ashy,'' Pakura said, pulling Ash to her side.
"Ashy is mine," Erika said, pulling on Ash.
"NO he is mine," Pakura said, pulling Ash to her side.
"Will you girls stop?" Ash shouted, before pushing the girls off.
"Oh Ash you're ready to tell that girl off, I knew you wouldn't betray me," Pakura said, running up to Ash.
"No Ashy is going to tell you off," Erika said, running up to Ash.
"No, it's not my problem," Ash replied, and stood aside from the way.
"What about, we will share him," Erika suggested.
"That's ok," Pakura agreed.
"Girls, I am not like a candy to share," Ash did not like that idea.
"You stay out of it. I'll get him on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday is a day off for him," said Erika while pushing back to Ash.
"And I get him on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, that's an equal amount of days," Pakura agreed, she likes this idea.
"But what about that battle we never got to finish?"' Ash pointed out.
"Do we really have to battle?" Erika asked. "I can just give you the rainbow badge."
"Is it really fair?" Ash was puzzled.
"Actually there is something I need you to do for this badge," Erika said with a smirk.
"Really a battle?" Ash asked, getting excited.
"Yes, a battle," Erika said, before she ran up to Ash and began kissing him on the lips and slipping her tongue inside his mouth. Ash was in shock but after a while figured out what kind of battle she wanted and slipped his tongue inside her mouth. After kissing for what seemed like hours Ash pinned down Erika's tongue and separated to catch his breath.
"Looks like you win," Erika said, frowning. "How about a round two?"
"I think that's enough for one day Erika." Ash sighed.
"Fine, here is the Rainbow Badge." said Erika, handing Ash the badge and giving him a peck on the lips.
"Was that really necessary?" Pakura asked with a sigh.
"Alright I kind of got the Rainbow Badge." Ash said while doing his signature pose.
Erika also joined his traveling companion. After closing her Gym for a few days, Ash asked her, what about the Trainers which come very far here.
Erika replied, her assistant put a tough task for the trainers, which came in absent of her, if they completed the task, then her assistants gave the Rainbow Badge to them.
Azlan, Sabrina, Elysia and Freya has just missed a big dreams.
