Hey guys! A happy new year to all! Here's to hoping that we all have a better year!

How was your holidays? My family had another get-together and boy, it was fun! I got my driver's license! Hell yeah! So without further ado

Jaune Arc stood side-by-side with the members of Team RWBY as they found themselves inside the halls of Dragonsreach. The young Crusader looked around and he noticed something. A person dressed in leather moved familiarly, Sticking close to the shadows.

"By Azura, it can't be!"

"You... You're!"

"You know this man, Imrelith?" A middle-aged man with blonde hair asked. His sheer presence and charisma echoed in the halls of the room.

"Jaune?" Ruby asked, cutely tugging on Jaune's cloak as the second Divine crusader held a hand to his chin while looking at the Woman with gray skin and red eyes.

"Little Lith?" Jaune's voice broke through his mouth with bright blue eyes. "It is you!" Jaune said with joy evident in his voice.

"Uncle Jaune? But how?!" Imrelith asked, her voice breaking as she looked at the Blonde.

"Seems like you can be a knight now, huh?" Jaune said with a smile as he lowered his hand. "And you're even a housecarl for Tyr's descendant," Jaune continued with a smirk, stunning both the Dunmer and the Jarl.

"Why are you here, Kinsman?" Balgruuf asked, focusing on Jaune.

"My companion here can tell you why we're here, Jarl Balgruuf. They were in Helgen when it was destroyed," Jaune said, using a gentle tone but with the confidence and strength of a man who had seen through countless battles. Jaune gently presented Ruby and leaned into her ear. "You can do it, Crater Face,"

Hearing the word from her first friend from Beacon, Ruby took a deep breath. "Riverwood calls for aid, my jarl!" Ruby said in a higher pitch than usual. "Gerdur sent us! The dragon destroyed Helgen. And last we saw it heading this way,"

"A dragon did?" Jaune whispered under his breath with only Blake catching it as her ears twitched. Tuning out the conversation, Jaune clenched his left wrist as the group followed the Jarl to the room of the court wizard.

A woman wearing leather armor and a hood that covered but what caught Jaune's attention was the blade on her waist. The woman looked at him and he gave her a discreet Blades salute. The woman gave him a nod and returned the gesture discreetly, disguising it by grabbing a scroll before walking away.

"So the Jarl thinks you can be of use to me? Oh yes, he must be referring to my research into the dragons. Yes, I could use someone to fetch something for me. Well, when I say fetch, I really mean delve into a dangerous ruin in search of an ancient stone tablet that may or may not actually be there." The court wizard said.

"Are you sure you want to leave a soul gem near an unwarded pentacle? Also, you're going to step on your shock rune," Jaune said, catching the attention of the mage, and cutting him off from his tangent.

"Where? I would never... ah, I see. You are a fellow enchanter." Farengar said, looking at Jaune. "And someone knowledgeable about the higher arts."

"All right. Where are we going and what are we fetching?" Yang asked, looking at Farengar as she held her cloak in her arms.

"I, ah, learned of a certain stone tablet said to be housed in Bleak Falls Barrow - a 'Dragonstone,' said to contain a map of dragon burial sites. Go to Bleak Falls Barrow, find this tablet - no doubt interred in the main chamber - and bring it to me. Simplicity itself."

"But we just went there!" Weiss said with a groan, careful to not let out that Jaune was in the main chamber for some reason.

"We did not see any stone,"

"Other than the wall with some writings on them," Yang said and even now, she can still hear the chants echoing in her very soul.

"Here lies the guardian, Keeper of Dragonstone, And a force of unending Rage and darkness" Jaune recited the words that echoed in her aura. "is it this stone?" Jaune asked, stretching his hand out, allowing a stone tablet to form in his hand.

"Ah! The Dragonstone of Bleak Falls Barrow! You already found it! You are cut from a different cloth than the usual brutes the Jarl foists on me." Hearing the word Brute made the temperature a bit warmer as a pair of Amethyst eyes slowly bled red.

Blake gently squeezed Yang's shoulder while Ruby looked at her. Weiss glared at Farengar. Jaune noticed this and sighed. 'Yang needs to control her temper,' He thought as he felt his shoulder warm up a bit. 'Yeah, I shouldn't be one to talk,' the second divine crusader thought as he remembered his temper.

"Farengar! Farengar, you need to come at once. A dragon's been sighted nearby. You should come, too." Irileth said as she turned around to return to where she was supposed to be.

Following the court wizard the Huntresses-in-training and the Divine Crusader looked at the scene unfold in front of them. The Jarl stood proud as a young man dressed in the armor of Whiterun city guards took deep breaths.

"So, Irileth tells me you came from the western watchtower?"

"Tell him what you told me. About the dragon."

"Uh... that's right. We saw it coming from the south. It was fast... faster than anything I've ever seen."

"What did it do? Is it attacking the watchtower?"

"No, my lord. It was just circling overhead when I left. I never ran so fast in my life... I thought it would come after me for sure."

"Good work, son. We'll take it from here. Head down to the barracks for some food and rest. You've earned it. Irileth, you'd better gather some guardsmen and get down there."

"I've already ordered my men to muster near the main gate."

"Good. Don't fail me."

Finishing his conversation with Irileth, the Jarl turned to the people of Remnant.

"There's no time to stand on ceremony, my friends. I need your help again. I want you to go with Irileth and help her fight this Dragon. You survived Helgen, so you have more experience with dragons than anyone else here. But I haven't forgotten the service you did for me in retrieving the Dragonstone for Farengar. As a token of my esteem, I have instructed Avenicci that you are now permitted to purchase property in the city. And please accept these gifts from my personal armory."

Several guards came in, carrying several weapons, causing Ruby to get wide-eyed. Jaune watched with a smile at how Ruby eyed her new weapons. It wasn't Crescent Rose but he knew they were far more durable.

Ruby held an elven Battleaxe in her hands. "Just like Mom's..."

Yang looked at a pair of steel gauntlets and an Axe made of some sort of brass. The young woman nodded at the color scheme.

Blake held up an elven sword, nodding at the balance of the weapon.

Weiss looked at her new weapon. It was not Myrtenaster but it was beautiful.

Truthfully, Jaune already had a good enough battleaxe but extra weapons can't hurt. A black and red bow along with a quiver of arrows. "How ironic," Jaune whispered as he clenched the handle of his new bow.

Words from another language flowed from the lips of the Second Divine Crusader, confusing the girls of Team RWBY and making Farengar's eyes widen as the red glow of the bow dimmed, becoming dull. Nodding to himself, the young man strapped the quiver to the back of his waist, taking several arrows and holding it with his bow. Winking at the surprised Jarl and mage, the blonde nodded at them as his armor disappeared, revealing a rusted Steel imperial legion armor that fit his body like a glove along with a helm on his right hand.

"Woah! How did you do that?!" Ruby asked, looking at Jaune.

"No time to explain, we need to move!" Jaune said as he disappeared in a flash of lightning along with the rest of Team RWBY, the moment his helm was secured on his face.

"That armor..."

Jaune and Team RWBY suddenly appeared at the gate of Whiterun, by Irileth and her squad.

"Uncle- I mean, Sir Jaune!" Imrelith said, standing with an imperial salute, surprising all nearby.

"At ease, Imrelith. Are you and your men ready?" Jaune asked, his voice clear and steady as he stood proud and tall in contrast to White, Black, and Yellow who tried to get their bearings while the Red of the team looked at him with glinting silver eyes.

"Sir, Yes Sir!" Imrelith said with full attention, sounding more and more excited as she stood in attention.

"Good!" Jaune said as he looked at the rows of yellow-themed guards, taking one glance at his friends.

"I will make this quick. Stand up and fight, children of Skyrim!" Jaune's voice echoed in the city as he looked at them, the rusted armor glinting in the sunlight.

"A dragon soars through the sky outside Whiterun but have no fear! You are the children of snow! Your ancestors and your culture have endured and lived through countless trials. Hear the beat of your hearts and roar! We will show this Dragon that as long as a single one of us breaths, we will stand tall!" Jaune Arc roared, causing countless roars of approval as he looked at the guards in front of him.

"Remember the Oblivion Crisis! Remember the battles we fought! Remember how even the Destroyer's armies were weathered by the shields and blades of the North! Today, we show the wayward children of Akatosh who seek to enslave us that Skyrim and her children will stand strong, until the end! Are you with me?" Roars of approval echoed throughout the city. "I said are you with me?!"

"YES!"

"Good, then it doesn't matter if you are Men, Mer, or Beastfolk. As long as you are children of Skyrim, then fight! Cling to life!" Blue eyes roared with a blinding rage of resolution as Jaune raised his hand as a Beautiful spear was aimed skyward along with countless blades and weapons. Olaf and Jon looked at each other as they held their blades to the sky, The companions nodded at each other even with some undercover Stormcloaks drawing their blades. "Show them why the children of Skyrim will never falter! Mages, Warriors, Rogues, all of you! To Victory!"

"OR SOVNGARDE!" The voices roared as Jaune turned around and looked at the members of Team RWBY who looked at him with wide eyes. Their classmate who was admittedly the weakest of their batch was now commanding men like a seasoned Veteran.

As one, the guard Squad marched followed by Members of the Companions led by Jaune, Imrelith, and Team RWBY walking beside Jaune.

"So, Vomit boy, you're quite the general now, huh?" Yang teased, elbowing the second Divine Crusader with a smirk.

"You can say that," Jaune said as he looked to the sky. "But I'm more of a commander."

"Okay, I can believe that now," Weiss said, causing the Remnantians to look at her. "What?"

"Weiss, you just complimented Jaune," Blake said as she looked at the young man and her teammate.

"I can give Credit where credit is due," The Schnee said only to freeze as a shadow landed on top of the Western watchtower, casting its shadow over them.

Jaune Arc, the Hero of Kvatch, the Saviour of Bruma, and The Champion of Cyrodiil, let out a crazed smile form on his face as he inhaled.

"Yol toor Shul!" The dragon roared as a stream of flames erupted from its mouth.

A hand of killing light was raised as a lance of lightning pierced and dispersed the flames, hitting the dragon with enough force to stagger it and pierce through a portion of its shoulder.

"Aim for its wings! Ground it!" Jaune roared as the guardsmen drew their bows.

"Mages! Alternate between using wards and try to cripple its wings!" Jaune ordered as the girls of Team RWBY looked at each other and nodded. Drawing the string of his bow, Jaune started to shoot arrow after arrow at the flying dragon.

"Thuri du hin sil ko Sovngarde!" Yang paused as she heard those words. They were from a different language yet she understood it. (My overlord will devour your souls in Sovngarde!)

"It can talk?!" Weiss said in shock as the Dragon released a breath of frost that broke the wards of some mages. 'I need to learn magic,' Weiss thought as she supported those near her with her wards.

Blake had jumped to the dragon's back with help from Yang and Ruby and begun to hack away at its back. 'It's too tough!' Blake thought as her Elven Blade only managed to scratch its back but she hoped she did some damage.

"Krif krin. Pruzah!" The Dragon said before doing a bold maneuver as it dive-bombed into the ground.

"Your girls are insane!" Blake heard Jaune as she suddenly found herself getting pulled into the cool metal of the armor the Blonde wore while lightning covered the spear he held along with a yellow light before it stabbed and pierced the Dragon's back the moment it spread its wings.

"Brit Grah!" The dragon roared as it flew into the air while spinning like a barrel.

"Change to lightning!" Ruby ordered the mages on the ground as she saw the spear on the Dragon's back, knowing that fire spells and ice spells would be batted away. Salvos of lightning spells struck the dragon with several being absorbed by Jaune's spear

Back on the Dragon, Blake watched as a wide grin appeared on Jaune's face while he held onto the Dragon's scales. What happened to Jaune to have him act like this? He was more willing to fight and hunt like this.

"Hold on!" Clinging to the Blonde, Blake's eyes widened as she felt Jaune Crawl on the spinning Dragon's back.

"What are you doing?!" The Black of team RWBY asked.

"Killing this thing!" Jaune said as the dragon stopped spinning. "Blake! Do you trust me?!"

"Yes!" Blake shouted and she suddenly felt herself falling as Jaune jumped out of the Dragon with his bow drawn using his feet to hold the bow and his free hand to draw the empty bow.

"He's crazy!" A random Whiterun guard shouted as they watched the scene on the ground as Jaune and Blake fell.

"Jaune! Blake!" Ruby shouted as she looked at her sister and Weiss.

"Wait! Trust Uncle Jaune," Imrelith said as she looked at the falling Blonde.

"Jaune just jumped off a dragon with my partner!" Yang shouted with red eyes as her semblance flared to life and a fire formed in her soul.

"Oh, you of little faith," Imrelith said with a smile. "When it comes to insanity, no one can beat Jaune Arc,"

A spear formed on the bow, acting as a sort of arrow and the young man released the string, sending the spear soaring through the air and tearing a chunk of the Dragon's wing. As they neared the ground, Thunder and Lightning embraced Jaune and Blake as they reappeared beside Imrelith and team RWBY.

"That should down it," Jaune said as he set Blake on the ground.

Thwack!

"Ow!" Blake said with a wince as she held her wrist while Jaune just chuckled.

"I'll treat you to the finest tuna we can find," Jaune said with a smile as he looked at the dragon. There were already several casualties and Jaune could see Ruby get affected. Gently, the second Divine Crusader patted his first friend's head and ruffled her hair while sending a wave of calm to make the Red Reaper calm down.

Yang Xiao-Long was worried. She was brave that's for sure. She used only her beloved Ember Celica and fought the Grimm with just her body and shotguns but when they were transported to this place, she had to kill people to protect her sister. She had killed some bandits and even now, she still felt guilty about it but she had to protect her sister.

Finding Vomit Boy in Bleak Falls Barrow was a surprise. But she was confused, why was he there?! Ruby's male best friend, Vomit Boy, carried himself differently and her instincts warned her against fighting him. Now, that confused her! Vomit boy couldn't even hurt a fly! He was too kind for his own good! But now, seeing him inspire a group of people with a speech and how he was one of the only few to draw blood against a dragon.

'You can trust him,' A smooth and warm voice echoed in her mind. Deciding to listen to the Voice, Yang watched as the Dragon crawled towards them. She might not have helped in the Long Range but Jaune downed it and now. It was her turn. Activating her semblance, she can feel.

"Go wild!" Power flooded her entire form as Yang turned around and saw Jaune holding his hand out toward her. She could feel the flame that formed inside her burn brighter as an Unrelenting Force filled her entire body.

"I had forgotten what fine sport you mortals ca-" A blow from Yang's hand sent the Dragon soaring and skidding through the ground for several meters. Dragon teeth flew from the dragon's maw.

"Holy shit!" Yang shouted at how her punch did that.

Ruby held her axe and spun it around. Her weapons training from Qrow, while mainly focusing on Scythes, was transferable to any kind of Polearm. Her beloved uncle had taught her how to use an axe to at least have more connections with her mother. Without Crescent Rose, her blows were lighter but it scratched and dented some scales. Blake and Weiss danced and sent blows at the downed Dragon.

Weiss Schnee used her glyphs to strengthen the blows and support her friends. "Weiss!" Hearing Jaune, the young woman felt a hand on her shoulder. Normally, she would have scolded him but the surge of power that flowed in her body made her reconsider.

Was this his semblance? With this... the image of a knight appeared in her mind. With this much power... An ice-blue blade the size of a house slammed down on the Dragon causing Jaune to blink as the poor dragon was slammed on the ground.

"Weiss, listen to me," Jaune said as he kept his hand on Weiss's shoulder. "I want you to imagine ice."

"What?"

"Imagine ice! Imagine you have dust with you!" Jaune said as he looked at her.

Doing what Jaune told her, Weiss imagined numerous ice shards forming in her glyphs and she felt something inside her get reduced. Like a pool of water with Bucket's worth of water getting pulled out of it.

"Good, focus," Jaune whispered. Shaping the energy into ice, Weiss opened her eyes at the beautiful shards of ice that formed from Numerous Glyphs around her. "Now, let loose!" Numerous shards of ice pelted the Dragon, denting the scales as they hit.

"Is that, Magic?"

"Yes, you have potential for Magic, Weiss," Jaune said as he removed his hand. "I boosted your magicka Reserves. You have the best affinity with frost magic that I know. It's similar to using dust." Jaune said as he caught a guard that flew their way and set them down.

"Thank you," Nodding at the guard, Jaune looked at the bloody yet still-standing Dragon.

"Jaune! We have Casualties!" Ruby said, landing next to him after using her Semblance. She was shaking a bit but she kept herself together.

"Anyone dead?" Jaune asked pulling Ruby in his arms to pull her out of the way of Farkas who stopped his flight by stabbing his sword on the ground.

"None so far," Farkas said as he cracked his neck.

"Good! Rubes, I want you to use this crossbow and distract it," Jaune said as he amplified her aura back to full. The number of Guards and fighters made it easier for Team RWBY to not get hit by the dragon. A beautiful Crossbow made from Ebony formed in his hand along with a holster of bolts. "You're the fastest of our group and you're a crack-shot," Jaune said as he punched the ground in front of him, sending a giant spike of ice that skewered the dragon's wings, opening its defenses for a bolt to the eye from Ruby who used her semblance to dart and pepper the dragon with bolts.

'You're spoiling them too much,' The voice of Martin Septim echoed in his mind as an ethereal form of his friend appeared in front of him. 'Why didn't you just beat Mirmulnir, Jaune?'

Watching as Yang, powered by her boosted semblance, punched and broke the poor dragon's wing bones and how Blake used her shadow clones to distract Mirmulnir as Ruby took potshots with her new crossbow.

'Team RWBY should get used to fighting in Tamriel,' Jaune replied as he watched the battle in front of him. While some of the guards were injured, none were dead unlike his first battle in Tamriel where a heist went wrong and he ran away just to survive but now...

'Only those who can create a Myth-Echo of what happened to Pelinal and Lorkhan can kill you now... in combat,' Martin's voice said as Jaune laughed at this.

'So, who is this Dragonborn? I have to admit I'm Jealous... Team RWBY already have their own Magicka Pools and I had to close a lot of Oblivion gates before I got one,' Jaune thought as he looked at his friends.

'You proved your worth. All of the Nine were impressed and that spear was my gift to you,' Martin said as Jaune felt the spear in his soul glow with pride. 'You could have killed Mirmulnir alone but you instead took this chance to teach your friends lessons both good and cruel,'

"Dovakhiin, No!" Mirmulnir roared out loud as all members of Team RWBY did a flash attack that killed the dragon once and for all.

"Yang Xiao-Long, bearer of the Doom-Driven Dragon's Blood," Jaune announced, drawing his blade for the first time. "Heir of Alessia, adopted Child of Akatosh," Jaune gave Yang a salute as the people of Whiterun from the guards that were with them to those watching from the walls and balconies.

The words were heavy as all those who watched heard his words as if Kyne herself allowed the winds to carry them.

"I Jaune Arc, the hero of Kvatch, The Saviour of Bruma, the Champion of Cyrodiil, The first blade of Martin Septim, hereby offer my eternal fealty and service to you," Falling to a knee with his head bowed at the Blood-covered Yang.

"Jaune, What the fuck?"

Boom! Fuck yeah! Team RWBY just took Down Mirmulnir. Now, the reason why some companions and a lot of guards was because I am going to the lore side of things, meaning that Mirmulnir is as big as a house just like Odahviing in Legends. The reason why only Jaune could pierce the Dragon's hide is because his spear is an AEDRIC spear from ESO given to him by Akatosh himself. It contains a portion of his power and due to it being a divine Weapon, it will be powerful enough to pierce through a Dragon's scale. But that doesn't mean the others were useless. Regular iron and steel weapons of any kind wouldn't be as effective against a dragon and only something in the caliber of around regular Daedric weapons could pierce a dragon's hide by themselves.

Blake and Ruby are the speedsters of the two and while fast, they are not as powerful as say, a well-trained human from Tamriel especially those born under the steed. But they are still strong enough to dent the and scratch the Dragon's scale while Weiss is more of a mage of the group, her summon used Magicka and in this fic, Dragons or Dovah have high resistance to magic thanks to their skills.

For the reason why Jaune announced his presence well... it's a power play. By announcing himself as the Hero of Kvatch and his titles, he forced all political factions to accept the legitimacy of Yang as the Dragonborn. In this fic, Jaune is more well-known due to his exploits both in common with Tamriel and the underworld. It is also a warning to the Thalmor since they know that Jaune is a blade and that in his memoirs, he is named as a champion of Auri-el/Akatoh, it will make them less likely to attack and since they know the Divine Crusader's actions. Well, let's just say Jaune could be a worse threat to them than the Dragons.

In this fic, while the Thalmor are pissed at Talos since Tiber Sepim cause a genocide in Summerset Isles, they are more or less chill with Martin since he became an avatar of Akatosh/Auri-el after sacrificing his life to shut the gates of Oblivion. (it didn't stop them from conjuring Daedra as help during the great war). Jaune's tale is intertwined with the Nine and Martin, meaning that if they attacked Jaune or any member of Team RWBY they will piss off a lot of powerful people.

In regards to the Civil War, Jaune would be more or less pro-imperial due to having bled and died for the Empire against the Daedra, but he will be neutral to the Stormcloaks while Team RWBY is more pro-Stormcloak since the Empire tried to kill them. While Imrelith, well she is a niece of one of Jaune's acquaintances and while she used to be a member of the Morag Tong, I decided to have be that Dunmer's decided because why not?

The reason I did not let team RWBY and Jaune ring their weapons to Tamriel was because their weapons would be too impractical in Tamriel. But Tamriel ha blacksmiths! Well, they do, but having regular weapons will be more efficient and effective compared to Mechashift since Tamriel is a harsh land. Also, Tamriel is not as technically advanced (except the Dwemer) as Remnant and since there is no dust, they will have to learn to rely on conventional weapons more.
