Last time on Autobot Defense Unit: "Hey John, I got an idea. Mimura, can you transform." Yuma said with an idea in his head. Mimura transformed as Yuma asked Hiroto to help him pick up Mimura's body and load it into the bot's body. Closing the door and waiting, they saw the door reopen and Mimura stepped out of it. Mimura was shocked as he looked at Yuma and bro hugged him. John smiled too as Meg kissed her Fiance's cheek. Soon John got their attention and said, "Listen up team, now that Megatron, who is Galvatron, is back. We have to be extra careful now. This Unicron wants evil to triumph, but I say Unicron can go to scrap. We will fight until Unicron and the Decepticons are NO MORE!" The team cheered and John smiled at his team.
Present: John looked over his drone as Toka walked up to him wearing a new dress. John looked and saw her and it made him blush. John pulled at his collar and said, "Woah Toka… you look… hot." Toka giggled and blushed as she said, "thank you." John smiled and kissed her before she said, "So how about you and me go on a date." Toka smiled and said, "Sure." John smiled before his drone's chest began glowing. Toka saw it and pointed it out to John.
"Orion." John said before hopping into his seat and closing his eyes. Opening them again, he was back on Cybertron where Orion Prime and Alpha Trion waited for him. John walked up to them and changed into his drone. He asked them, "What is it?" Orion replied, "the time has come for you to increase your skills in defending your home, by gaining a third mode." John was speechless, but he quickly regained his composure and asked, "what alt mode is that Orion?" Alpha Trion spoke up and he said, "You can fight in the air with Jetfire, you fight on the ground, now you must fight in the water." John was speechless but nodded his head. Then three water based vehicles appeared, a Virginia-class submarine, a Admiral Hipper-class heavy Cruiser, and a Queen Elizabeth-class aircraft carrier. John looked at the options in front of him and was in awe at the variety of the ships.
In the real world, Toka and the team looked at John's Drone and John as they glowed before Teletraan-1 said, "Alert. Alert, Decepticon Activity in the Indian Ocean." That was when John and his drone stopped glowing and Optimus got off his charging pad and said, "Aerialbots, Broadside, Ironhide, Bumblebee, with me." The bots and drone pilots nodded their heads and Karma and Bumblebee droned up. Optimus knelt down and said, "Looks like our date will have to wait, Toka." Toka nodded her head and said, "Go get them baby." Optimus nodded and transformed into his truck mode.
At the marina, Ironhide and Bumblebee got onto Broadside with the Aerialbots as Optimus transformed into his robot mode. Ironhide looked at Optimus and asked, "Are you not coming prime?" Optimus looked at him and said, "I am Ironhide, but I have a surprise for you." Optimus then ran towards the water, jumped into the air, and transformed into a Virginia-class submarine. The Autobots were speechless as Ironhide contacted Optimus and asked, "HOW LONG HAVE YOU HAD THAT FORM?!" (A.N.: Yeah I know Optimus Prime doesn't have a Submarine Alt form, but he really should in my opinion.)
"Orion Prime and Alpha Trion spoke to me and gave me the ability to have a Third form to transform into." Optimus told Ironhide as he traveled alongside Broadside. Ironhide and Bumblebee were impressed and wanted a third mode as well. Optimus told them, "While having a third mode is very cool, we must focus on the mission at hand. Broadside, any detection on your radar?" Broadside checked and said, "Nothing yet Prime." Optimus acknowledged Broadside. Optimus then said, "Understood, keep an eye on the horizon and the sky, I shall cover below the water." Broadside acknowledged Prime and kept an eye on the horizon and the sky. Ironhide and Bumblebee looked at each other and nodded, they needed to get a third alt mode for themselves too. After arriving in the Indian Ocean, Optimus dived lower and spotted some Decepticons. He then launched two Torpedoes at them. When the Torpedoes struck the Decepticons, the explosion was big and both cons were taken out.
"AUTOBOTS!" Shouted another Decpeticon. Soon Ironhide and Bumblebee joined Prime as he transformed under the water and shot more cons. Ironhide and Bumblebee were having trouble moving in the water. That was when Sky-Byte arrived and tore into several Decepticons. Optmius smiled as he said, "Good to see you Sky-byte." Sky-byte nodded his head and said, "Likewise Prime. Broadside, come assist us!" Broadside acknowledged the order and after the Aerialbots took off. Broadside transformed and joined the battle. After kicking the Con's tin plates, the Autobots were about to celebrate before hearing a low rumbling. That was when a huge Bot stood up on the ocean floor and said, "Tidal wave."
"BY THE ALLSPARK!" shouted Broadside. Optimus looked at Broadside and asked, "You know him?" Broadside nodded his head and said, "Yeah, it's Tidal Wave, the Decepticon's dark fleet. He's a power house." Optimus nodded his head and transformed into his Submarine form and launched two torpedoes at Tidal wave. Sky-Byte also took shots at tidal Wave as they dodged his hands and blaster fire while Ironhide and Bumblebee were having trouble traversing under the water. So to combat the issue they got on Broadside and took control of two of his guns. Tidal Wave then shot up towards the Surface. Optimus gave chase as he contacted the Aerialbots about him. Silverbolt acknowledged Optimus right as Tidal Wave broke the surface of the ocean. Broadside and Optimus followed Tidal Wave as he made his way towards an inhabited Island.
"Autobots, we must stop him!" OPtimus shouted as he and Broadside pursued him on the sea while the Aerialbots fired at him from the skies. Tidal Wave swatted at the Aerialbots like mosquitoes when a military transport plane that an amalgamation of the body of a C-130 Hercules, the wings of a C-17 Globemaster III, the cockpit of a C-5 Galaxy and the tail of an Antonov An-225. It transformed and slammed into Tidal Wave's head, making the giant con fall backwards, The Bot floated above the water as Optimus transformed onto Broadside and the bot said, "Hello Prime, I am Stratosphere. Aerialbot and transport. Ready to help where I am needed." Prime smiled and said, "Target Tidal Wave's face." Stratosphere nodded and opened fire at Tidal Wave. The other Aerialbots joined in targeting him. Ironhide and Bumblebee then joined in firing at Tidal Wave. Sky-Byte fired at Tidal Wave's feet, making him soon slip back under the water and into the Mariana Trench. Prime and Sky-byte then fired more torpedoes at Tidal Wave, striking his neck, and then it came apart from his main body.
After the battle, Ironhide and Bumblebee wanted to know if they could get a third form too. Optimus looked at them and said, "Well I think you would be getting other forms in time, but right now it's just me, sorry you two." Ironhide and Bumblebee were saddened by this but were also okay with it. Soon Broadside turned for home as Optimus was in his submarine form beside him. After arriving back in port, Ironhide called for a ground bridge before taking a blaster shot to his back. Looking up, the Autobots saw a Robotic Eagle and they opened fire at it. Prime called for Ratchet to get Ironhide out of there.
"ON MY WAY PRIME!" Shouted Ratchet as the Aerialbots took off after the Eagle. Optimus looked at Ironhide and held his hand as Ratchet arrived. Optimus and Ratchet then helped Ironhide and onto his charging slab. Manami ran to Karma's human body and helped him out of it as it was evident that he was in pain. Optimus leaned onto his charging pad, John got out of his Chair and ran over to Karma as Bumblebee docked up too. John then told Karma, "Until you're fully healed up man you're not to drone up at all." Karma nodded his head and groaned as he was taken to the infirmary. John stood there before looking up at the Ironhide Drone. Wheeljack got to work on the drone to make sure it could work again when it came time for Karma to drone up again.
