Natsu considered himself a ladies man if you would have to put a name to it. He's been called a lot of things. Womanizer. Playboy. Whore. Either way, same thing with different words so he didn't mind much. He never was one to be one with the ladies until high school. Him and Gray were always popular so it wasn't a surprise when they began to have a flock of girls at their beaconing freshman year. They always came to support them during sport practices and events. They would twirl their hair and giggle at every small thing, eyes trained on their faces as if it was the most precious treasure. Gray is the one who really got him into becoming a womanizer since he always wanted to one up him and when he lost his innocence to some junior who sucked his dick behind the baseball field one day, it was like a switch just came on. The feeling of getting his dick sucked and the adrenaline rush he received was so addicting he was determined to chase after the feeling. He's broken more than a dozen hearts in his career and it wasn't really his fault. He never told any girls he loved them or cared much but it was merely their choice to fall in love. He always told them from the start he didn't like clingy girls nor did he ever want anything more than a quick hook up. Call him an asshole, he knows it.
He dated his childhood friend, Lisanna, for a bit. She was the one he actually lost his virginity to and he can't say he ever was in love with her. Sure, he loved her but it wasn't anything he would write home to. They grew up together and the pressure of them ending up together was so important to everyone else that they tried it for about a year before she called it quits. Claiming she wasn't into dick like the other girls and insisted it wasn't his fault but Gray never let him live it down about how he let his first and only girlfriend turn gay.
Maybe that was what made him into a whore. It's not like his heart was broken, they still stayed good friends even till this day. Lisanna went to Edolas with them but she ended up staying since she loved it so much. It was a mess trying to get Mirajane to let go but her little sister was happy and that's all that really mattered.
Girls never really interested Natsu for a long period of time. He was only there for one thing and one thing only and maybe he went back for a couple more rounds but really, he didn't give a fuck. He lost track of his body count sometime junior year and now as he grew into this twenty-one year old frat hunk, Natsu was reeling in fish like it was breeding season.
It was safe to say Lucy was an interesting one. He definitely wanted to get his hands on her before anyone did. It's not like him and Gray or anyone else never shared a body before but Lucy was different. He wanted to be the first if not last to get his hands on her. She was different from the other girls who would commit arson if he asked because she was also part of the league. The league of super hot hotties who could get anyone they wanted just with a flick of their wrist and she proved that at the party when she had more than one of his brothers profess their love for her then and there.
She looked like she was used to it. Laughing about it rather than blushing and being super embarrassed because he didn't really care for it at all. He likes girls who are confident. Girls that knew they were attractive because he knew he was.
So when he asked Erza to introduce Lucy to him he was kind of expecting her to go off on him and talk about his slutty habits like she always did but when she turned red and started stuttering like he asked her to drop her panties, Natsu was definitely intrigued. That meant that Lucy might have said something or even maybe Erza was thinking something indecent which had him smirking as she said she would introduce them tomorrow at lunch.
And now he was one up ice-dick and that pussy-cat. Max wasn't even in the same league. If Lucy were to choose him, he would most definitely off himself because if Max the broomstick loving freak can get someone as hot as Lucy Heartfillia, then life wasn't worth living.
Maybe this wasn't the bet that fueled his inner slut but the possibility of someone being able to keep up with him! Did nobody else see how she was purring his name and practically eye-fucking him all night? Or was she doing that to someone else too? He had to get more intel.
And so, that was how he was at a table full of Zeta's at the cafeteria during his open hour before he had lab, leg bouncing under the table as he awaited this blonde goddess. He sat next to Erza who was mindlessly going through a catalog he knew was Heart Kreuz while the blue-haired pledge from last night sat next to her. He was pretty sure her name was Wendy but he really wasn't paying attention last night. Laki also sat at the table but was too busy with her face in a chemistry book while two other freshman pledges he's never seen before eye-fucked him across the table. Bisca was furiously typing on her phone with blush on her cheeks which he knew was Alzack on the other end and his eyes darted from each and every face that came through the doors of the cafe.
Natsu just groaned, face buried in his arm as he started to get impatient.
"Erza, I'm bored." He whined, leaning into the red-head who didn't budge.
"Then maybe you should find something to do."
"I have lab in an hour," He groaned, eyeing the clock on the wall. "And I don't want to go all the way home to come back in twenty minutes."
"Guess you'll just have to suffer till then," she let out a small sigh. "Did you introduce yourself to the new pledges?"
Natsu raised a lazy eyebrow at the three across the table from him. The two instantly got stiff as blushes spread across their faces, quick to look away as he rolled his eyes. "Touka, Faris and this one is Wendy." He pointed at the blue-haired cock block. "See?"
"Good job, Natsu," Erza gave him a small pat on his head as he grumbled. "You know, you don't have to be here."
"Where else would I go?" He said with annoyance in his voice as Erza turned to look at him. He instantly sat up straighter and offered a sheepish smile. "I mean, I missed you. I love you!"
Erza could only roll her eyes at his lies, flipping the next page in her catalog. "Have you found the culprit for Plue's murder?"
"I interrogated the pledges. They didn't do it. I have them hunting down the murderer as we speak."
Erza seemed to like the answer as she saw her little approach with her best friend. "Lucy! Levy!" She raised her hand at them making Natsu perk up. "Over here!"
While Lucy looked hot last night, she was beautiful during the day. She had her golden hair pulled up into a ponytail with a pair of reading glasses perched on her cute button nose. She didn't wear any makeup besides the lashes that were still glued to her and he thought she still looked sexy with her leggings and baggy t-shirt.
"Oh, hey!" Lucy was first to greet as her eyes landed on the dark ones. "Natsu, right?"
"Right." He grinned as he pulled the chair out next to him. "Here, have a seat next to me."
Levy offered Lucy a knowing look before she took a seat next to Wendy while Lucy took a seat next to Natsu. He was quick to turn his body to face her, eyes wide and face bright like a golden retriever.
"What are you doing sitting at our table?" Lucy asked as she took her lunch out of her bag. Natsu eyed her chips and queso like a begging dog.
"This is Natsu." Erza tried to introduce the pink-haired student who was practically drooling. Lucy just made a face of confusion as she nodded slowly. "He said he'd like to become acquainted with you."
Lucy laughed at this as her eyes landed on Levy's who held back a smile.
"We met last night." Lucy said as she unwrapped her burrito. "Unless you don't remember?"
"I'm surprised you do." Natsu mused as he stole a chip from her. Lucy shot him a silent glare. "You were pretty hammered. Did you end up getting McDonald's?"
"Yes, my sweet Wendy over there got me some." Lucy smiled at Wendy who just blushed and smiled back.
Natsu watched her in awe as she took a big bite of her burrito. He coughed and adjusted himself to peel his mind away from the image. "I just figured we should get to know each other. You know, as friends. Since we're friends."
The snickering across the table had Natsu shooting Bisca a glare, nudging her with his foot as she pretended to not listen. He could also see the other two pledges sitting at the table were still watching him and he just ignored them, eyes still glued to the blonde who was mindlessly eating.
"What are you majoring in?"
"I'm an English major with a minor in communications and marketing." She said as she popped a chip into her mouth. "And you?"
"I'm in chemical engineering."
"Wow, you must be pretty smart."
Natsu smirked, making Laki roll her eyes from across the table. "I'm pretty good at chemistry. I suck at everything else."
"Levy is also in STEM." Lucy motioned towards her blue-haired bestie who offered a wave when Natsu looked over. "She's industrial engineering, though."
"We love women in STEM." He flashed his eyes at the blue-haired one who just rolled her eyes at him. "I think women in STEM are so much smarter and I give them props for joining such a male dominated industry. It's not easy. We need a lot more women like you."
Levy turned beet red as she cleared her throat, looking away from the table who was watching her reaction. She's never really had anyone say that to her and for it to come from someone like Natsu made her overthink this entire situation. Because she definitely was not team Natsu for Lucy but now that she was interacting with him sober, he didn't seem so bad.
"T—thanks," she muttered out as Bisca put a sympathetic hand on her shoulder.
"So, are you from here?" Natsu returned his attention to Lucy who was still shoving the giant burrito in her mouth. It made him almost groan out as she took the giant thing, her cheeks puffed out. He really did have to get laid… ASAP.
"I'm originally from Acalypha. I moved to Magnolia not too long ago and came to MU with Levy. We were roommates before we joined FZ."
"I've never seen Natsu so interested in someone before," Bisca leaned over to whisper to Laki. Natsu whipped his head to shoot the sisters a glare, a scowl mirroring his features. "Get to the point, Natsu." Laki teased as the male rolled his eyes.
Lucy only quirked a brow as she looked over at Natsu who was just scowling. "Huh?"
"Fuck off, Bisca. I'm going to tell Alzack you think he's ugly."
It was now Bisca's turn to scowl and blush as she stuck her middle finger up at the playboy. She grabbed her tray and left in a rush, grumbling about strangling the player who just snickered in victory. He offered an innocent wave goodbye, leaning back into his chair with that stupid grin on his face.
He yelped when Erza smacked him upside the head, the rosy-haired student bent over in pain as she looked over at the one who he referred to as the she-devil.
"Natsu, stop being a jerk."
"I didn't even do anything, Erza!"
"Oh, I have to go," Lucy's voice brought him back to reality. "I'm going to miss my class. I only had thirty minutes for lunch today." She was shoving half of her burrito back into her bag along with her chips and queso.
Natsu felt panicked as he also stood up. "Let me walk you to class."
"Don't you have class to go to?" Erza's death glare sent shivers down his spine.
"I'm just going to walk her to class. I'm going to my lab right after." He offered reassurance. "Come on, Lucy," He motioned for her to come with. Lucy gave a wild look to her sisters and pledges who all smiled at her, devilish looks and a slight hint of jealousy mirroring their features as she waved goodbye.
She skipped ahead to walk beside the frat boy who slowed his pace for her. He couldn't help but watch her tits bounce with her movements, slapping himself in the face for thinking so lewdly even while she's in a t-shirt.
"So, what building are you in?" He asked as they excited the cafeteria building.
"I'm in the art department. I'm taking Art History as my extracurricular."
"I took that my freshman year. Let me know if you need any help when it comes to assignments."
"Thanks, you're kind to offer," she smiled softly. Natsu felt his heart throb inside his chest and he clutched the front of his t-shirt, fighting the urge to blush. Natsu Dragneel did not blush! Nor did he fold!
"Lucy!"
Turning around, the couple saw the one Natsu refers to as ice-dick making his way over to them. Natsu couldn't help but roll his eyes as Gray came forward, a smug look on his face as he realized he interrupted something.
"Hi Gray!" She offered a wide smile. "Where'd you come from?"
"Math department. I just got out of class," he offered a smile. "Where you two heading?"
"Class." Natsu said, the look of displeasure crossing his features as they continued their walk.
"What class are you headed to?" Gray's attention was on her, purposely bumping into her to catch her eyes. Natsu scowled at the interaction, feeling possessive of her already.
"Art History."
"I took that freshman year. Let me know if you need any help with any of the assignments."
Natsu rolled his eyes, catching the glint in his best friend's eyes as Lucy giggled.
"Natsu said so, too. I assume you two took the class together?"
Natsu was now smirking as Gray's dropped. Point one for Team Natsu. Zero for Team Gray.
Coming to a halt in front of the art department building, Gray and Natsu silently battled who got to open the door for the sorority sister. Lucy could only giggle at the act as they angrily whispered back and forth as she watched. She soon decided to open her own door, offering a wave goodbye as the two looked over in defeat.
"See ya."
Lucy Heartfillia was definitely a heartbreaker. She loved a good game of cat and mouse and most of the time she was always the untouchable mouse. She lived for the thrill of knowing what more they could do just for the heiress to give any ounce of attention their way. It definitely had its perks and while she snuck out of her house one too many times to meet her flavor of the month, she was a retired player.
Like she said, she grew out of the whole 'fuck-you-daddy-pay-attention-to-me' phase, she was at peace with herself. Mostly.
Gray was a handsome hunk. Tall, dark, and handsome. Cool. He had looks that could kill and cocky smile that could woo a girl to her knees. Two summers ago she would have been on that before they had exchanged names. Voice deep enough to push her over the edge.
But that Natsu.. oh, he made her lady parts tingle in a way she hadn't felt. He was hot, in a smothering sexy bad way where his sharp eyes had her knees buckling. He was shorter than Gray but not by much. Not like it mattered since she still had to look up at him. Muscular, tan, and confident. She loved a confident man. A man who isn't insecure. Someone who knew what they wanted and they got it.
She wasn't stupid. She knew since that night that the brainless DZ boys were plotting something. Why else would they hound her like they did? This is why she never went out. It got tiring to feed off such energy at all times. Gray and Natsu just happened to be the newest brothers she's never met before and when her sisters had a reaction like that to their return, naturally she would be curious as to why. And she understood why. No questions asked.
She wondered if she should string along the two for fun but eventually came to a conclusion she might possibly rip them apart. She's done that to a couple of best friends and she felt bad about it. So, in order to avoid this feud she decided to settle for one and Natsu was who her kitty leaned to.
He looked like a talker in bed. Someone who pressed hot open mouth kisses down your chest while he had his hands wrapped around your throat. Someone that'd spank her till she had tears rolling down and her legs quacking after a couple of rounds of rough sex.
Maybe if he didn't work out she could always try ice-dick.
Lucy spent most of her class daydreaming about Natsu fucking her that she didn't realize it was over till people began to leave. She was surprised to see said brother waiting for her when she came out of class. His toned body leaning against the building walls as a lazy smirk pulled up to his lips at the sight of her. He waited for her to come over, standing up straighter as she smiled.
"What are you doing here?"
"I figured I could walk ya home since we're neighbors and all." He grinned.
Her giggle was like tinkering bells as they began their journey back to frat row. "Only because we're neighbors?"
"What are friends for?"
She casted her head down, laughing and shaking back and forth. The blush on her cheeks made her want to cover herself, refusing to give him the satisfaction of his successful flirting.
She was surprised to see how easy it was to talk to him. He seemed to have something to say to everything as they carried conversation. One story turning into multiple conversations mid-way through. She didn't even realize they were right outside FZ until they were standing right out front.
She didn't want to give him the idea she wanted to linger as much as she did, immediately walking up those steps of her home. "Thanks for walking me home," her voice was sweet like honey. "See you whenever."
"Hey, can I have your number?" He was quick to ask as she turned to look at him.
She had a smile on her lips, botton lip caught between her teeth as she stood at the door. "Hm, I don't know," she had a playful tone in her voice. "I don't like to give my number out to strangers."
"Well good thing I'm not a stranger," He matched her energy, one foot at the foot of the steps. "Just a friend asking for another friend's number. For friend activities and friendly conversation. You know, cause we're friends."
He was witty and she liked that about him. She just kept finding herself giggling as she met him halfway. She was pleased to see even while two steps up she was eye level with him. Looking into those piercing eyes had her knees weak as she held her hand out for his phone.
She typed her contact in and added a cute heart next to her name before handing back. His hand lingered as he felt the slight feel of her pinky finger, mouth curled as he saw the small blush on her cheek.
Lucy said her goodbyes and she was inside her home, back pressed against the door to feel the effect of the Dragneel spell.
He was good. Dangerously good. He knew what the hell he was doing and this excited Lucy to see how far she could take this. She was practically trembling with joy as she felt the familiar buzz of her cellphone in her pocket.
Natsu wasn't the type to usually text first. He didn't really like texting at all. He was more of a face-to-face type of guy. But when he watched her disappear behind the wooden door, he was pleased to see her name with a heart attached; accurate for her contact. He messaged her before he walked off the front steps, a grin spread across his face as he felt like a winner. Team Natsu two points. Everyone else, zero. He felt giddy knowing this was a win-win situation. He gets the blonde bombshell and bragging privileges for life. He would be the top dog, everyone would know about him in DZ history—hell, everyone on campus!
He wondered what kind of kinks she had. She looked like someone who had a daddy kink and by all means he was willing to play someone's daddy. He might not be able to give her everything she wanted since she was the sole bread winner and maybe she wasn't looking for some broke college fuck who just wanted a chance between her legs but he wasn't looking for a relationship. Lisanna ruined that shit for him. He just wanted to know how she sounded when his cock was kissing the deepest parts of her cunt. And maybe how good she really did suck dick for someone to go blind.
Lucy was a magnet. He could see she attracted attention anywhere she went whether it was with good or bad intentions. His eyes caught multiple spineless dicks turning to watch her and it made him feel a bit better he was the one walking besides her.
Natsu was exceptionally happy today. For multiple reasons. Mainly because he was successful with obtaining the phone number of said blonde who was the prize of MU. And this extra boost of confidence allowed him to knock not three but five idiots in the ring down at the gym. His workout was going great! It was a great day!
"Alright, salamander, you're a bit cocky today," Gajeel pounded on his gloves, a wide smirk on his face. Natsu jumped around, trying to burn off the excess energy he had as he grinned. "Let me show you who the boss is."
The two were always wild with one another. Not afraid to show blood as they swung. They always had wicked grins across their faces when they fought and nobody ever got in the way to figure it out.
Gajeel was an old friend of Natsu's. They met sometime in high school when Natsu was running the streets. Gajeel was a lone wolf and he recruited him to join his friend group. Took him a good three years to actually come around but they were solid. He never wanted to go to college but attended trade school up in Magnolia for mechanics. Natsu decided to join him when Gray and Erza got in. He owned the gym down the street from campus and while MU had a gym, he preferred Gajeel's. It was a two story, twenty-four-seven gym with a sweat room for a low cost of nothing since they go way back. Well, that's what he liked to say. There just happened to be some hot chick who was working the front desk at the time and he fucked her so good she offered him a free membership and that was two years ago but his card still swiped so fuck it, right?
After a long round of going back and forth, the two were laid out on the ground, breathless. The grin on their faces still present after their beating.
"What's gotten into you?" Gajeel asked while ripping his gloves off. "You seem too happy."
"Can't I be happy?" Natsu scoffed, throwing his gloves down.
Gajeel just rolled his eyes, cracking his neck as the two slid off the rink. Natsu had gathered his belongings to sling his duffle over his shoulder, face sleek from sweat as his friend walked him out. His eyes were glued to his phone as he looked for a missed message from his sister sorority but to his disappointment, the one person he wanted to hit him up was radio silent.
"Is this about some whore you're fuckin'?"
"She ain't a whore and we ain't fuckin'." Natsu clicked his tongue in disapproval, shoving his device down his pants pocket. "We're just friends."
"Since when are you capable of being friends with females?"
"If you saw this girl you would understand," he laughed, adjusting the strap on his shoulder. "Underwear prince and I have this bet going to see who could pull a move on her first."
"Not surprised with a couple of sluts like you two."
"You need to get laid," Natsu put a hand on his shoulder. Gajeel just scowled, pink dusting his cheeks as he threw his arm off.
"I don't stick my dick in everything and anything like you, salamander!"
The rosy-haired one only snickered, flipping him the bird as he started his walk back to his home. "See ya, metal face."
"Don't come back!"
Natsu was a bit disappointed Lucy hadn't texted him back. He was staring at her contact as he wondered what she was up to. He also scrolled through his other messages, finger twitching to see if he could hit up any of his old flames who wouldn't treat him like she was treating him at the moment. He hadn't gotten laid since he's left Edolas and he wondered if his charisma was wearing off.
He only laughed, knowing that wasn't his case.
Walking down the streets of frat row, his walk was interrupted as a familiar voice caught his attention. He resisted the urge to roll his eyes as he faced the fraternity brothers who were out on their front porch drinking, his eyes trained on the blonde who was making his way over to him.
He didn't know why Sting didn't join Delta Tail. He was clearly obsessed with the rosy-haired one. Sting transferred over to MU right before he and Gray had left for Edolas and he was always trying to wiggle his way into his life. At first he found it endearing but at one point when Sting would become more of a cock-block and an annoying fanboy, Natsu had just wanted to stay the hell away from the happy-go-lucky dumbass. Maybe because Natsu did leave for a year Sting had decided to join Saber Tau.
Saber Tau always tried to rival DT but they weren't a match for the rowdy crowd. They proved it during Greek Week every year where they beat them in every game possible. Whether it was strength or endurance or even drinking tolerance, DT always came on top. Well, Cana had come on top of that a couple too many times but FZ and DT were brother and sisters so if they won, everyone won.
"Coming home from the gym?" Sting eyed his duffle. "Want a drink?"
"Sure," Natsu held his hand out as a cold beer was placed into it. "What are you fucks doing?"
"Starting the semester strong," He shrugged as Natsu walked over to the porch of the rowdy bunch. He offered half-assed waves to those he knew. "How was Edolas?"
"Great. You should go." The DT brother offered, a smile on his lips as Sting looked like he was actually thinking about it for a minute. "Lots of babes."
"Speaking of babes," Sting smirked as the older one quirked a brow. "I heard there's some new hot pledges over at FZ. You should had seen the ones they had last year. There's this one blonde with huge tits—"
"Lucy?" Natsu asked without thinking.
Sting had a grin on his face, slapping the back of the male who jerked forward and spilt some of his beer. He scowled at the blonde who was laughing. "Figured you would know about her already, Natsu!" Somehow, Natsu didn't like how he said it as he rolled his eyes. "I think she's some prude or something. She never comes out and as far as I know nobody has gotten their hands on her."
This was something that interested him. Natsu was now all smiles as he faced the ST brother, crossing his arms across his chest.
"Is that so?" He mused. "She recently came to one of my parties. She knows what she's doing."
"Care to wager and see who could get her first? Blondes stick together." Sting wagged his brow.
Natsu scoffed, irritated that he was still entertaining this idiot for this long as he chugged his beer. He let out a belch and crushed the can, tossing it in the yard of their frat house.
"You're not even on the same level as me even if you tried. She ain't gonna go for someone like you."
"I smell a bitch," Sting snickered.
Natsu flipped him the bird as he walked away, another burp rolling out of his mouth. "Nah, I ain't worried about a pipsqueak like you. Let me know how my dick tastes, fuckface."
And with that, he was back at his frat house, stomping through his home like an angry man. He ignored the looks and greets that came from his brothers and pledges as he flung his duffle into his room before he fell face first into his bed. Gray wasn't in their room and he didn't think twice about it as he kept thinking about the bombshell from FZ. What was it about her that drove him mad? She clearly had eyes on her in every direction and he wasn't the only one interested to see what she looked like when a mouthful of their dick. He only wants his dick wet. But Natsu Dragneel is not a man who is used to rejection. Especially from women. So, he decided he was going to break this little bitch's heart like the man he knew was above everybody else. Call him cocky, he knows it. Confident, he likes to say.
So, he rolled out of bed, took a cold shower, beat himself off thinking it was Lucy who was stroking his dick, and got ready for what? He didn't know.
The phone only rang twice before she answered, pride swelling in his chest.
"What are you up to?"
Lucy didn't know what she was signing up for. Maybe it was just a night of passion she was yearning for after years of being celibate. Or maybe just to have the feeling of adrenaline rush through her body as she played with a man's heart. This was unknown as she got ready to hang out with the heartbreaker: Natsu Dragneel. He called her while she was stepping in her shower. With the water running and not a single piece of clothing on her, she imagined Natsu standing there watching her wash herself as she answered. He asked if she was free and if she wanted to go to the library with him since he was on pledge duty tonight. He persuaded her to keep him company and told her it wasn't much of a choice since he knew where she lived and he'd stand out there all night if he had to. She liked to play hard to get and teased him but she was going to go anyway and the way his voice sounded over the phone had her knees shaking as he said he would like to stare at her all night than the lame freshmen.
He had his way with words and she knew he was a talker in bed by the way he spoke to her.
She decided to dress up for this occasion to see how much she could fuck with him. Not the whole nine yards but enough that she could probably get something from anyone if she batted her lashes and asked sweetly. Freshman year was usually when people went buck wild but she was brought back to her confident sexy ways since she had eye candy that was knocking at her door. Something about Natsu riled her up and the social last night made her remember how much fun she had when she used to be sloppy and having men at her feet. She kind of missed it when she was queen bee.
Since it was still the early days of September, it was still warm out so she had the privilege of showing off more. She was going for something more casual-cute and wore one of her shortest jean shorts. She paired it with a t-shirt that was one size too small but enough to cover what was important. She let her long golden locks down this time as she slipped on her platform sandals, hoping she could get some height to her petite form. She swung her backpack over her shoulders after she checked she got her laptop and her books, wondering if he really was waiting for her out there. She peaked through her curtains to see and she just rolled her eyes when there was nobody there.
Who was she kidding? Why would Natsu Dragneel from DT be waiting for her?
A lot of her sisters were out or still in class. Lucy offered to be on library duty for their pledges to get it out the way since she was going to be there anyways. One of her sisters was forever grateful for her since she had an upcoming date, saying she'll buy her a pretty bottle sometime soon.
Grabbing her emotional support water bottle, Lucy barely was out the door when she noticed the frat boy standing on the porch. Face glued to his cell and his hand shoved into his pocket, Lucy felt the blood rush to her cheeks as he looked so ravishing in his red tee and grey sweats. What was it about men in grey sweats that made them look like whores? He looked delicious.
"Took ya long enough," he was smirking at her, phone back in his pocket. "I thought I was going to have to go in and get you myself."
"I didn't think you were serious when you said you'd wait for me." She watched him eye-fuck her. She liked how he was taking her in, feeling better about herself as she walked past him.
Natsu was quick to be next to her, matching her pace. "Of course I was. I'm a man of my word."
"I didn't know that. Thought you'd bluff."
"There's a lot about me you don't know, Lucy."
She liked how he said her name as she shuddered at the breathless sound of his voice. What was it about this man that was just so irresistible?
"Then I guess I better get to learning," she flirted back, sending a wink his way. She could see how he swallowed hard. "You're playing a dangerous game."
"Well lucky for you, I like to play games. And I tend to win. You see, I'm a winner."
Lucy hummed, a smile on her pretty glossed lips as she tilted her head to look at the one next to her. He was annoyingly cute and he was messing with the bull.
"Funny," she snorted, their destination coming ahead. "I'm also a winner."
"Winners stick together."
He was faster to open the door for her this time, offering for her to go in first as he held it open. She was short enough to walk underneath his extended arm, flicking her hair over her shoulder so he could get a whiff of her. She swore she heard him let out a groan of some sort as they waited for the elevator to the fifth floor. She could feel the heat rolling off his body and she had to bite down her grin at the way he was twitching beside her. She knew she had him in her grasps and one right move and he would have her bent over right here. But what was the fun in that?
"So, what made you want to be friends?" Lucy asked as the elevator doors opened while people piled out. "You seem like a guy who already has plenty of them."
"The more the merrier, right?"
"Right." She sounded unimpressed by his answer.
Lucy jammed the button for the doors to close, the two silent in the metal box.
"Is it wrong that I want to be friends?"
"Not at all," Lucy offered a smile, her grip on her backpack stripes tightening around her hold. "Just curious. Guys like you don't make friends with girls like me."
Natsu was now smirking as he turned to face her. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Exactly how it is." She didn't give him the satisfaction of returning his gaze. "Aren't you an engineering major?"
"I'm a straight forward type of guy, Luce. I don't like to jump to conclusions."
Her eyebrows raised at this, slightly turning to look at the man who was shamelessly licking his lips.
"I like when girls tell me what they like straight up. No bullshit."
"Interesting." Her lips pulled into a smile as the doors opened. "I'll keep that in mind."
Walking in the fifth floor, tables were flooded with the obvious groups of pledges for their respected organization. Girls separated into their own while the boys were fucking around. Some of the girls were smitten, flirting with the table next to them or playfully fighting with each other. But once the two had come it was like they walked into an interrogation room where eyes were on them and lips were sealed. Maybe it was their energy but it didn't seem to bother either one as Lucy went straight to her FZ pledges.
The girls were more than excited to see their future sister, the blonde squealing about how cute they look. The pledges were relieved to have someone like Lucy for the library rather than someone like Erza who wouldn't even let them breathe in the direction of anyone else. Lucy was actually easy to talk to and very helpful when it came to freshman year courses. The sophomore herself was technically a junior with all the college credits she did bring in her freshman year. She only really had a year and a half left if she kept this pace up but she also thought about continuing with her masters in the future.
After all, daddy did raise smart girls and daddy only wanted what was best for his little girl.
Bent over at the table next to Faris, Lucy was trying to help her with her homework but created too much tension in the air without realizing. She even had the girls looking at her juicy behind as she pointed at the screen to help the young girl with her math homework.
Lucy knew what she was doing as she could feel the heated stares at her behind. Especially one from the rosy-haired frat boy who she was stringing along.
She was intrigued when a familiar ginger approached her, glasses on his handsome face as he leaned against the table with his palm. He offered her a seductive smile, eyes looking her up and down.
"Hello, Princess," he purred, body too close for her comfort. "Nice to see you, again. Looking sexy as always."
"Nice to see you, too, Loke," she remembered his name, head tilted to the side in a cute manner while she stood up straight. "Wouldn't expect someone like you in a place like this." She flirted, a smile curled on her lips.
Loke had his eyes trained on her, licking his bottom lip as she batted her lashes.
"Well, I am an uprising junior. I need to be on top of my studies. It's what I'm good at. Being on top."
Lucy rolled his eyes at him, looking over at her pledges who were drooling over the playboy.
"I'm good at a lot of things." He implied, smile so bright he could blind cars. "Would you care to find out?"
"I don't think you could handle me." She challenged.
"Oh, I'd love to find out."
"Lucy," Gray's voice had her turning to look. "What a nice surprise."
"The whole gang's here." Lucy snorted, weight shifted to her left leg as she planted her hands on her hips. "It's like a package deal."
"It's hard to stay away from a beauty like yourself."
"You boys sure are hard to keep away." She waved them off, trying to ignore them as she pulled her belongings out to set herself up next to Wendy. "Some of us have stuff to do so why don't you skedaddle?"
"Leave her alone," Natsu was now at their side, standing up straight with his chest puffed.
The pledges at the FZ table were all swoon, melting at the sight of the three DT boys who were surrounding the table.
"Get back to work," Lucy instructed, walking away to have the boys follow like dogs.
She knew they'd follow her and the sway of her hips had heads turning as she came to the table of the DT fraternity. The pledges were more than excited to see her, some of them paling at the sight as they remembered her crazy strength and wild eyes. She flashed a quick smile which had them melting, eyes trained on the blonde.
"Hiya boys," she said, low and soft. "You guys have to keep these three on a leash. They keep getting lost."
"Just trying to find our owner," Loke grinned, stepping into her line of sight once more.
Lucy sighed and turned to look at Gray and Natsu who just watched, arms crossed their chest. Gray just happened to be shirtless, her eyebrow raising at him. "Where'd your shirt go?"
"Goddamn it," he looked down to scowl, looking around the room for his missing shirt.
"They're just a bunch of idiots," Natsu stepped forward, smiling down at her. "How about we get a private study room?" He suggested as the boys at the table whistled low.
Lucy laughed, her eyes rolling as she placed a hand out in front of him. "I don't think we'll get much studying done if we did."
Natsu perked up at this, his invisible tail wagging back and forth.
"And besides, I don't think you're ready for any of this."
"I was born ready."
Lucy felt trapped, wanting to take Natsu up on his offer as she forced herself to take a step away. "Nice try, Dragneel. Have a good study session boys." She offered a wave before going back to her own table.
All of them watched her leave, seeing how she sat down at her table to get her stuff together.
Loke sighed lovingly, his hand against his heart. "I fall in love with her more and more each time I see her."
"You're a fuckin' weirdo, Loke."
"That's not the type of girl you fall in love with." Romeo, a young freshman pledge said as he twirled his pen in his hands. "She's definitely one to break your heart or break you in half."
"If this is God's way of punishing me for all the times I've broken hearts then so be it." The ginger went back to his seat, daydreaming about the golden beauty.
Natsu snorted, looking back at his table of pledges who were still very interested in the FZ sister. "Get back to studying ya horny bastards." He leaned in towards Romeo, his potential little he had his eyes on as the dark-haired freshman leaning in. "Any update on Plue's murderer?"
"We overheard some lambda pledges talking about some prank they've pulled recently. Investigation is in process, sir."
Natsu nodded in satisfaction, ruffling the head of his favorite pledge. He then took a seat, body facing the FZ table so he could watch Lucy. He was anxious to know more.

.
Lucy had decided that she won't be going to the library to study anymore. She couldn't get any work done with the way these DT boys were hounding her every minute. Surprisingly, Natsu wasn't one of them as they occasionally came to drag one of them back but he gave her space which she appreciated. He was like a bodyguard almost, keeping the unwanted away but keeping his eyes trained on her like she was a precious jewel. It almost made her feel important.
She was utterly pleased when she got a reaction from him in any way besides pleasure. He seemed to hate how boys would come up to her to flirt or introduce themselves, shaky hands and all. Especially when this blonde cutie came up. She thought he would burst into flames right then and there.
"Nice to meet you, Sting, I'm Lucy."
"Oh, everyone knows who you are," he held her hand to kiss it. The heat from the room seemed to drop as everyone scooted away from the glaring male across the room. "Not everyone gets to have a beautiful woman like yourself run the streets of MU."
"Hardly." Lucy laughed out loud. "Never understood it."
"Well you're pretty famous. I don't know a single person who doesn't know about you."
"How flattering." She offered a pleased smile as Sting grabbed a chair to pull it next to her. She didn't move away but didn't give him her entire attention as she glanced over at her homework. "What can I do for you?"
"I wanted to come over and see if you'd like to go on a date."
Lucy swore she could hear something break but she ignored it.
"A date?" She echoed to make sure she heard right.
"Yeah, you know. Me. You. Dinner. Maybe a movie." He shrugged casually trying to pretend he wasn't actually terrified of her answer.
Lucy was silent as she thought about her answer. The other pledges at the table were also quiet, wondering if she was going to stay as they were on the edges of their seats. She caught a glimpse of her eye candy across the room and she could clearly see he was fuming but it made her smile that he cared so much.
"Sure. My last class is actually Thursday. I'll be free after five."
"Sweet, I'll come pick you up at six."
Sting tried to slide out of his chair in a cool way but his heel accidentally caught onto the leg making him trip slightly as the chair went flying. Lucy had to second guess if she was actually committed to this date as he scrambled to get up, wondering if he was also a ditz. At least he was cute. He had that Natsu cuteness to him. Charming. Handsome. Bright. He definitely wore his heart on his sleeve though as she noticed the subtle embarrassment and shyness that came from him and she remembered seeing him last year. She was sure they were the same age.
Packing up her belongings, Natsu was quick to stomp over to her, pretending he didn't care too much as he crossed his arms. He waited for her so he could walk her back.
"Are you going to go?"
"Hm?" She turned to look at him, head tilted upwards to lock eyes with his dark ones. He had a fierceness behind it that she found attractive.
"The date. Are you going to go?"
"Is that any of your business?" She scoffed as she shoved her textbook into her bag. "And why are you eavesdropping on my conversation?"
"Please," he scoffed, turning his head away in annoyance. "You two were loud enough for the whole floor to hear. Everyone fucking heard him ask you out."
"Well, wouldn't it be rude for me to not go after I told him I would?"
"Sting's a fucking idiot and a loser. Don't waste your time on someone like him."
"And who would you rather I waste my time with?" She countered, swinging her straps over her shoulder. Natsu was quiet, eyes narrowing as he didn't want to respond the way he wanted to but he just huffed.
"He's a fucking loser. He's obsessed with me."
"Aren't they all?" She murmured as she began her walk. She offered a sweet wave to the girls who were all starting to get their belongings together as well, ending the study session they were forced to partake in every night. "Anyways, why does any of this matter?"
"Because you're my friend. Friends don't let friends go on dates with losers."
Lucy only rolled her eyes, feeling some type of sincerity in that statement but also a hint of jealousy. She turned to face the older one, giving him a deadpan expression as he stared right back. She could see Gray and Loke approaching them with the rest of the DT pledges as she scoffed.
"Just say you're jealous."
"I'm not jealous." Natsu was quick to interject. "Can't be jealous of someone who is below you."
"What do you have against Sting anyways?"
Gray was now laughing as he overheard her question, a hand clamped down on the broad shoulder of his roommate. "Natsu and Sting had this stupid feud since they were swimming in ballsacs."
Lucy raised a brow at him as she felt small around the group of boys who surrounded her.
"That Sting would suck Natsu's dick if he asked." Loke said as he pulled out a cloth out of his pocket to wipe his glasses clean. "He's been obsessed with Natsu since he transferred over here which, I'm pretty sure he did because he knew Natsu attended MU."
"So he's some kind of fanboy or is he in love with you?"
"Maybe both." Gray answered for Natsu, shrugging his shoulders. "Which is even funnier that you're going out with him Thursday night."
"Did everyone listen to my conversation?"
A chorus of yes was heard from the crowd of boys as the elevator door opened. They all piled in making Lucy feel somewhat claustrophobic and uncomfortable as she was pressed against the elevator wall. She couldn't say this was the worst position she's ever been in but can't say it was pleasant either. Especially since Natsu made sure he was the one who could press himself against her, the warmth of his body blanketing her quite warmly.
She wished for the elevator to get stuck but was a bit disappointed it was a quicker way down than up. The boys were packed like sardines in a can, filing out as she finally was able to breathe.
"Seriously, you can't go out with him."
"Natsu, let the lady go out and experience him herself. Maybe she'll like him." Loke tried to stick up for this lady so he could be on her better side. Lucy merely rolled her eyes at his smile.
"I'm on flame-brain on this one," Gray jerked his thumb towards the rosy-haired student. "If you end up liking him, I might lose respect for you, Lucy."
"To say the respect is already there?" Lucy scoffed while the four walked through campus back to their respected homes.
"Of course," Gray placed a hand over his chest. "How could you say I don't?"
"Considering you three are the whores of this forsaken college campus and Greek life," she didn't see the three exchange uneasy knowing looks with one another. "I didn't think you had an ounce of respect for women in that body of yours."
"Of course we respect women," Natsu was now part of the conversation. "If we didn't we wouldn't be sticking our dicks in them."
"Now that's disrespectful."
Lucy could only roll her eyes as they waited to cross the street. "You three are a load of shit. It amazes me."
"We're just worried about your wellbeing," Natsu tried to argue. "Since we're friends."
"What? You think I could do better?"
"I know you could do better."
"Oh, really?" She was starting to get annoyed at their persistence. "I don't see anyone else stepping up. Everyone just seems to just want to get into my pants without even buying me dinner. At least Sting was sweet enough to ask me out rather than get straight to the point." She stopped to cross her arms across her chest to look at the three stunned DT boys. They were all awkwardly quiet, sheepishly looking away from her burning stare since they knew she was referring to them as well.
Lucy only scoffed, flicking her hair over her shoulder to walk ahead from them. She was now irritated.
"Lucy, come on," Natsu reached for her arm, trying to get her attention. "Don't be mad. We were just trying to look out for you."
"Puh-lease," she rolled her eyes, dodging his grip. "You three have been trying to get into my pants since we met. I'm not that stupid."
Natsu whirled his head to look at Gray and Loke, the two of them eyes wide and screaming to abort the mission. Gray made an X with his arms and Loke shook his head rapidly, remembering the body-slamming incident he did not want to encounter again. One was more than enough and he was still nursing his body through the pain. The blonde didn't even offer another word or an acknowledgement as she stomped up her stairway and disappeared into the sorority home.
The three boys were exchanging looks with one another, feeling bad she was so mad about the whole date thing. While it was harmless fun they thought they were bantering on, Natsu might have taken it a step too far but it was understandable since it was Sting. But Natsu felt the sting (ha-ha) of rejection and he did not like it.
That night he was punching the air as he tried to think about ways he could sabotage their date and also maybe apologize. Was it even worth apologizing for? Girls are fucking exhausting.
