The Gerudo that rule Hyrule have a prophecy that states that one day a Gerudo prince will be born and he shall amass a great harem in addition to saving the whole of reality. After the event that initiates this prophecy- The Merge- occurs, the young prince Niklas is thrust into a quest to save Hyrule. No biggie, not with his harem standing behind him. After the events of the great Calamity, all of Hyrule was devastated. None more so than Link, and Princess Zelda herself. It's now up to them to step up and restore the kingdom to its former glory. Though with their own personal trauma, it's a task that's easier said than done.
