Dimentio, still holding Izuku, tried to open a portal. Bakugou took Izuku from him and he managed to open a portal.

"Get him through, quickly. I-I can't keep it open for some reason."

Bakugou dragged him through, Ochaco following, then Tsu, Todoroki, Olivia, and finally Olly. Dimentio went through afterwards. He nearly collapsed when he came through. Olly helped him back up. Dimentio flipped up the hood on his poncho.

"I tried to come as close to town as possible for Izuku's sake. We shouldn't expect to run into anybody, but if you see someone, pretend I'm not here. If anybody's still alive and finds out I came back..." He turned on his heel and his jaw dropped open. "Wh-what the...?" He rushed off ahead.

The group sprinted to catch up with him.

"Wow!" Ochaco gasped. "What a pretty city!"

"B-but! I destroyed it all..." He squinted at the center of town. "Is that a castle?" He turned back to the group. "We'll need to sneak me through the crowd to get to my house."

"If this is your home," Olly said, "why hide?"

He sighed. "Because if anybody finds me here, I'll be banished for eternity. And we don't want that while Izuku needs help. Come on, we're going to that castle."

Dimentio had them stick to alleyways and shaded areas until they reached the doors of the castle. Two guards blocked them access.

"What is your business here?"

Olly bowed. "We are here on an important mission. We are here to find a cure of sorts."

They stabbed Olly's foot with a spear. "Nobody's allowed inside at this hour!"

Dimentio sighed and moved to the front of the group. "Let us in. I'm a friend."

"Nobody's allowed inside at this hour! Begone!" They tried to stab at Dimentio, who grabbed the spear with his hand and snapped the spearhead clean off.

He removed his hood and bore his fangs with a low growl. "I said let us in."

One of the guards almost dropped his spear. "A-an Acid O-Oni?! H-here?! R-right away s-sir...!" They opened the doors and Dimentio pulled his hood back up.

"Come on." He entered the doors.

"Dimentio, what did they mean 'Acid Oni,' and why did they only let you in after they saw your face?"

"Acid Oni are the most powerful, and most feared, demons of this world. They didn't know me, they only feared me." He touched his cheek under his left eye. "And that cursed demon that took my eye was an Acid Oni too."

Olly wished to comfort him, but had no idea how. He faced away from him instead and continued next to him in silence.

They stopped in the throne room. The throne sat atop a small set of steps, a red carpet spread out on the ground towards it. Seated in the throne, was a male with dark skin who looked about Dimentio's age. His dark blue hair was tied into a messy bun. His shirt was blue with golden shoulder pads and a long red cape that reached the ground. He held a champagne glass in his gloved hands; the white of the gloves matching his long, puffy, pants. His light blue sneakers stood out like a sore thumb.

He looked at them with his blue eyes, Olly noticing his pupils looked like lightning, they even holding a small glow. He placed the glass onto the arm of the throne, the clink echoing in the silence. "Hm? Why did those guards let you in? I'm having me time right now. I would like it if you left. Go on, shoo." He gave them a dismissive wave of his hand.

Dimentio was eerily silent. He removed his hood and finally said, "Em?"

He gasped, nearly knocking the glass off the throne. "Didi? You're still alive?!" He fixed the cup's position. "Hmph, I thought for sure Piper finished you off by now. I know she followed you."

Dimentio dug through his pockets for a second before pulling out her mask. "Piper...died."

That made him leave his throne and come over. He snatched the mask from Dimentio, fear in his eyes. "Didi...Y-you killed her?"

"What? I didn't! She killed hersel-"

He shoved the mask back into Dimentio's arms. "H-how could you? She was my friend! She left me in charge of this place!" Tears started to line his eyes, but he placed a hand on his forehead and moved it down the bridge of his nose. His tears vanished and he had a straight face once again. He looked at Izuku. "What's wrong with your...friend?" He faced back to Dimentio. "Did you finally decide to keep your tail? And you ended up hurting somebody with it when your abilities finally came in?" He laughed. "How pathetic are you?"

"Em, what happened to you?" He grabbed his wrist. "Were you using your power on yourself the entire time I was gone? Look at yourself! You're like a brick wall!"

He swiped down on Dimentio's face as well, the jester calming down and letting go of Em's wrist. "I'm guessing you're here for an antidote?"

Dimentio rubbed his head. "Y-yes...Em, you need to stop using that. You're hurting yourself."

"I am not. Everyone in this realm is just like me. Perfect." He held out a small vial filled with a blue liquid. "And this is the antidote, right?"

Dimentio grabbed at it, but Em pulled it away.

"Tah, tah! I'm not going to give it to you after you were so rude! You'll need to earn this from me now. You like to fight, right?"

"And who said that?" Dimentio was clearly upset at that statement.

"How about a tournament? You win, and this is yours. Lose, however, and your friend will watch you suffer whilst slowly dying himself. Do you really think you can win?" He held out his hand.

"Dimentio, this is not a good idea," Izuku warned. "This is the complete opposite of a good idea!"

Dimentio reached for Em's hand. "One condition."

"Alright. What is your demand?"

"Keep them," he pointed towards the group behind him, "out of this. If they get hurt, our deal is off and I'm taking that back."

"Deal."
