Ok, so this is no longer going to be a one-shot book (sorta), it's going to be about the boys' adventures at Hogwarts but also (kinda) following Harry's story. If you have any suggestions please feel free to share!

Kendall sighed as he sat in Potions class, it had been two weeks since the boys had started at Hogwarts and while some classes were fun like Charms and Transfiguration, others were boring such as History of Magic and Potions. He glanced over at James who also looked as bored as him, he shared most of his classes with James such as Defense Against Dark Arts, Flying, History of Magic and Potions, shared Charms and Care for Magical Creatures with Carlos and shared Transfiguration and Astronomy with Logan. He frowned when he saw Snape once again bully that Gryffindor kid Neville Longbottom and what was worse, no one was standing up for him. Granted it was fair as Snape favoured Slytherins and took any opportunity to knock points off the other houses, especially Gryffindor, Neville and that Potter kid in particular.

"just like school back home eh?" James whispered to him

"Yeah, and I'm sick of it," Kendall said sitting up straight

"What are you doing?" James hissed, worriedly glancing at him

"The right thing" he whispered back "Mr Snape?" Kendall asked out loud, catching everyone's attention, Snape's frown deepened as he turned away from Neville

"That's Professor Snape to you, Mr Knight," Snape said coldly, but Kendall barely batted an eye

"Do you have a doctorate degree?" James smirked as he knew where was was heading

"A what?"

"Since you have no idea what that is, you are not a real professor, so we should not be calling you Professor Snape, but Mr Ssnape" James sniffled a laugh behind his hand as everyone stared at him in shock, just then Neville's cauldron exploded, causing Snape's attention to return to him

"poor work Longbottom, that's the third cauldron you've destroyed this month, 10 points from-" Professor Snape was cut off once again by Kendall

"you know sir, a sign of insecurity is picking on the weak" Kendall said ignoring everyone's stares, he always did well under pressure

"What?" Snape said walking away from Neville

"I mean, potions isn't exactly the easiest class and from the way you keep picking on Gryffindor is a sign that you were perhaps once bullied by a Gryffindor, and you were unable to fight back, and now that you're a teacher you finally have the upper hand against the students"

"he's right," James said, after a few moments of silence remembering a teacher the boys had in the fourth grade who had acted the same way Snape was, except the attention was aimed at Carlos. Unfortunately for the Teacher, Carlos had great friends who would stop at nothing to bring the teacher to justice, meaning that they had devised a plan that caused him to get caught by the principal and in turn was fired. Now it appeared the Supertastic Super Squad was needed once again to bring justice to the classroom.

"your opinion does not matter Mr Knight, Mr Diamond" Snape gritted out

"it does matter when you're picking on an innocent student who is a first year and has no prior experience in Potions" Kendall ground out slamming his hands on the desk, he shared a look with James, who nodded and with a wave of his wand, cleared the table so it was empty "and you know what we say to bullies?" to everyone's surprise both James and Kendall jumped onto their desk, Snape jumped back in surprise as the two boys started singing

"Oh you such a turd

Oh yeah a giant turd

And you look like a turd

And you smell like a turd"

Everyone stared at the two students who had just sung the most ridiculous song in history, Snape clenched his fists before yelling "You two! GET. OUT." Kendall and James shrugged at each other before jumping off the table and grabbing their bags

"Sweet! We get to skip potions!" they could hear James gleefully say as they walked down the hallway

"I know! And I thought that History of Magic was terrible!" Kendall laughed and the boys' voices faded, the class turned their attention back to Snape who was turning redder by the minute

"if anyone repeats that song to anyone. Or I hear you sing it. You will immediately get detention." He then turned around and waved his wand over a whiteboard. A set of notes appeared as he sat behind his desk, he glared at the class and they immediately got the silent instruction to start. No one said a word as they worked on their coping down the notes and worked on their potions, they didn't want to risk Snape biting their heads off. Soon potions were over and everyone handed in a finished potion, even Neville, and they quickly left the dungeons and made their way to Transfigurations.

"Man, I will never understand that guy," Ron said "I mean, he talked back to Snape and called him a…you know...turd" Ron said, whispering the last bit in fear of Snape overhearing

"yeah" Harry nodded "Did you see Neville's reaction when a Slytherin defended him?"

"mate, I think we all had the same reactions," Ron said patting his shoulder

"I wonder why he and James didn't get into trouble," Harry said thoughtfully

"maybe it's because if he just punished James, then Kendall would do something much worse, like make the house lose a few dozen points or something." Ron shrugged

"It's still strange how a Gryffindor is friends with a Slytherin, from what you've told me Griffindor and Slytherin have been rivals for thousands of years and from what Hagrid says about dark wizards coming from Slytherin says a lot about that house, and with Malfoy and his cronies," Harry said "it's a strange friendship. even more so because he's friends with a Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff and Hagrid says that Hufflepuff is full of softies"

"I think that Kendall kid was already friends with him before they came here," Ron said as they walked into Transfiguration, "I remember my brothers saying that they all of them sitting together for breakfast early one morning" Harry nodded as McGonagall was about to shut the door, but paused as Kendall ran into the classroom and sat down next to Logan just as the caretaker's, Mr Bitters, angry yell echoed down the hall. Kendall snickered and held out his hand to Logan for a fist pump, in response Logan rolled his eyes but returned the gesture as McGonagall sighed heavily and closed the door

"I don't even want to know," she said, walking to the front of the room

"Psst, what'd you do?" Harry whispered once class had begun, they were just revising today

"Don't ask, I had no part of this!" Logan quickly said, causing Kendall to roll his own eyes

"Come on Logan, don't even deny that you helped us, this has your brains written all over it"

"first of all, this was your idea, not mine. Second of all, if I hadn't stepped in you would've blown yourselves up"

"but it was fun, wasn't it?" Kendall grinned and wriggled his eyebrows

"I gotta get new friends" Logan muttered, but he had a grin on his face and turned his attention back to Harry and Ron who were waiting expectantly

"We just discovered what happens when you mix dye, Kool-aid, Colovaria and a few other ingredients and then proceed to pour the mixture onto every tiled floor in the school"

"The result; is a super colourful spill that is almost impossible to wash off and it changes colour every few minutes" Kendall added with a laugh

"Bloody hell" Ron whispered, "how did you do that?"

"It wasn't easy, but we managed to convince Peeves to help us," Logan said "We bargained that we get free immunities from his pranks and we gave him a lifetime supply of our contraption"

"Plus we were bored" Kendall added "We also gave a few bottles to your brothers since we owed after they helped Logan from a few bullies. What we did was just a bigger demonstration"

"oh boy" Ron moaned, imagining all the dreadful things his mischievous older brothers could do with something like that

"can it come off?" Harry asked curiously

"yeah, we may like to cause trouble, but we're not evil," Kendall said "But Bitters made Carlos upset the other day, so this is payback"

"yeah, Bitters learned that if he messes with one of us, he messes with all of us" With that the boys turned their attention to their books allowing Ron and Harry to exchange worried and confused glances.

Later during Lunch, it was obvious that Peeves had dropped several bottles of the boy's contraption on several students and not only were their robes changing colours, but so was their hair, it made a good laugh from everyone as people kept coming into the Great Hall in various colours, such as purple, green, Yellow, Orange, Pink and much more, what made it even funnier is that every few minutes the colours would change. It appeared that Peeves had also managed to attack several teachers as many of them were sprouting colourful hair and robes.

"Attention students, as you can see we have a bit of a...colourful situation on our hands," Professor Dumbledore said halfway through lunch, his robes a bright pink instead of the usual purple "Peeves has managed to get his hands on several vials that are causing this mess that we know that someone has supplied him with" his gaze lingered over Weasley twins for several moments, before turning back to where Kendall and his friends were eating at the Ravenclaw table "but as these contraptions seem relatively harmless we are giving these troublemakers until the end of the day to come forward if they do, then the consequences will be less severe. that is all" with that Dumbledore sat back down in his seat and whispers erupted from the tables, everyone asking who could've given Peeves something that caused so much trouble.

"I told you this would happen!" Logan whispered to his friends as they walked out of the Great Hall "But you guys were all like 'oh, you're overreacting Logie! nothing bad will happen!' and now we're going to get expelled!"

"ok, firstly, you're overreacting again Logan" Kendall said calmly "Secondly, this stuff washes out, granted it takes a while but it washes out. Plus this is a magic school so it'll probably take a few days for them to sort it out"

"Plus you heard what Dumbledore said, it's not harming anyone" Carlos added

"and we're not getting expelled, it anything we'll get detention, but that's nothing new to us," James said thoughtfully "Although, if we do get expelled, I wonder if that'll be a record"

"I gotta get new friends" Logan muttered as the conversation turned to how quickly someone could get expelled from school

I think that some pure-blooded families would have started teaching their kids some simple spells once they got their acceptance letter and wand so that they could be prepared for Hogwarts as well as establish their family name, which is why James knew that cleaning up spell.
