When I woke up, I noticed I was elsewhere. I wasn't in bed with Shiver in my dorm room, I was at a house somewhere. I got up and headed outside. Outside, I found myself in a town, there were no people, just me, but the town was about the size of a neighborhood. I decided to get in a car and head out of the town. As I drove, I saw a lake, and near the lake was a bigger town, it seemed like a New York style area. I decided to drive to the lake. I got out of the car and walked to the dock. It wasn't that big of a lake, but big nonetheless. As I attempted to get closer to the water, I suddenly trip and fall in, but before I drown, I wake up. I'm in what I was wearing to sleep, Shiver next to me, and I'm covered in sweat. As I'm hyperventilating, Shiver wakes up and looks over, seeing me shaking and hyperventilating. "Love, are you okay?" She said, seeming very worried. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just had a nightmare I guess." I say as I calm my breathing. "It's okay, it's over now, you're here with me." She said, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Okay, I just need to breathe." I say, still calming myself. "Take all the time you need, it's okay. Just know it's over. Do you mind telling me what happened?" She asked me, trying to see what triggered me. "Well, in the nightmare, I woke up, in this weird place, it was like a town, so I took a car and left the town, which led me toward a lake and some city. I go to the lake, but as I look at the water, I fall in and drown." I say. "I see, you've never seen this place before?" She asked. "To my knowledge, no I haven't." I replied. "Well, it's 4am. Just try to get some rest, okay love?" Shiver said, hugging me. "Alright. Love you." I say before laying back down and trying to fall asleep again. When I actually wake up, it's about 1pm. Shiver is gone, but I assume she just went to her classes for the day. I could go to my classes, but I didn't feel like it, so I just got on my Macbook Pro and started doing some work. After about an hour or two, Shiver comes back. She's wearing a white coat over her sarashi wrap with her oddly tight leggings and rounded glasses. "Hey Honey, you okay?" She says, taking her coat off and putting on her shawl. "You were knocked out this morning!" "Yeah, i'm alright. I just woke up funnily enough." I said. "Well Del, if you ever feel sick or anything, I can skip class to take care of you okay?" Shiver said, smiling at me. "Yeah, I know. I just don't want you missing your classes or anything because of me." I said, laughing a bit. "But honey, It's okay. I'm a top student so missing a few days won't do anything." She said, trying to reassure me. "It's fine really, I can take care of myself you know." I said. "This scar on my eye and the fact that I was in a car crash doesn't mean anything!" "You were in a WHAT!?" Shiver said, shocked that I had gotten into a car accident. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?" "I didn't want you freaking out or anything. But I guess you did anyway." I said. "Well next time, you have to tell me that type of stuff sweetie! You can't be running around almost getting yourself killed and not tell me about anything that happened!" Shiver said, annoyed but not angry. "I know but, it's really whatever. My body can take it." I said. "You sure?" Shiver asked. "I'm fine. Don't worry about it." I said before grabbing my MacBook Pro and my glasses, which I put on since my vision had been blurry up to that point. "Well, if you insist, just don't kill yourself okay?" Shiver said, before giving me a kiss on the cheek and going into the kitchen. I smiled a bit before putting my MacBook in my bag, I then grabbed some other stuff and my car keys before heading out.
