As we were on the bus, we approached the island. The doors were then opened, so we could jump out. Me and Shiver decided to land at Pleasant Park, as it sounded peaceful. When we were gliding there though, I saw how many students were there. I gulped before landing in a basement with Shiver. We fist bumped so we teamed up,and started looting. I found a chest and reached into it. I found a Purple Heavy Shotgun and some small shields. Shiver found a Green Assault Rifle and bandages. We put the supplies in our bags and drank the shields, making us a little stronger. I had 3, so I got two and Shiver got one. Afterward, we went out of the basement and into the fray. It was way more chaotic than we thought. Students were shooting like crazy. I managed to sneak up on one with one my Heavy Shotgun, while Shiver gunned down another with her rifle. They weren't teamed up, so they were both eliminated. The problems weren't over though, as another team rushed us. They hit Shiver pretty hard, but I eliminated them with my Heavy Shotgun. "Are you okay?" I said running over to her. "I'm okay, but they hit my arm hard.." She said. I patched her up with the bandages we had and we headed away from the town and into the wilderness. It was a long journey to the island, so it was late by the time we got there. As the night came, I could hear the chirping of crickets and the rustling of leaves. Suddenly, I heard something, I looked up and saw a giant screen. It showed everyone who had been eliminated the first day, it was about 15 of us, leaving 185 left. Me and Shiver set up a tent in a secluded area, and we both tried to sleep the day off. The next morning, we woke up. It was pretty early, but the storm, or danger zone, was shrinking, meaning we would be pushed in. I woke Shiver up pretty hastily, as I wanted us to move quickly. "Sweetheart, wake up. We have to go." I said. "Are you sure?" She said, sounding really tired. "Yes, trust me love. I have survival instincts." I said. "Alright.." She said. We gathered our stuff and headed south, toward the safe zone. We were pretty dirty, with Shiver having her shawl and sarashi wrap damaged, exposing her a bit. I wasn't any different either, my fur was filled with leaves and dirt and I was a little muddy. Suddenly, as we were walking and talking, I stopped Shiver suddenly. "Huh? Why'd we stop?" She asked, confused. "Tripwire. Look." I said, pointing to a nearly invisible string. I knew that a team must be nearby, so I rushed into the bushes. Shiver followed me, wanting to be by my side at every moment. I throw a rock at the string, triggering the trap. I then see a team rush out, looking to get an easy elimination. They seem confused where there isn't anything however. Then, I made my move. I rushed both of them with my Heavy Shotgun, getting both of them. They had some good loot and some supplies. Me and Shiver looted all we could. They had some more shields, some medkits, and some Blue Assault Rifles. One also had a Blue Pump Shotgun, and I took it, giving my Heavy to Shiver. After traveling a bit farther south, we found a big big lake. It was the lake I saw in my dreams, I could even see the city in the distance. I checked my wristband. The place was named Loot Lake. There were also now 98 students left, meaning a lot had been eliminated. Me and Shiver headed toward the lake, stopping at what looked like a shipping yard. As we went into a building though, a team consisting of an Umbreon and Sylveon approached us. I went fully defensive, but Shiver saw they didn't mean any harm. "Hey.. We don't want any trouble.." Umbreon said. I put my gun down and looked at them more closely. The Umbreon had a pin with a trans flag on their chest. The Sylveon had glasses on their face, they seemed pretty nerdy. I assumed they were both female, as Umbreons are born 100% male and the Umbreon in front of me had a trans pin, and Sylveons are born 100% female. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked. "We were hiding." Sylveon said, seeming really shy. "Well okay, what are your guys's names?" Shiver asked. "I'm Abigail, and she's Lily." Umbreon said. "Nice names! Do you guys want to team up?" Shiver said. They agreed, and we all fistbumped. We now had a whole squad. I felt a little suspicious, but I tried not to say anything. As we headed back outside, we looked at the lake. It seemed to have an island in the middle with a house. The lake was very open, so I didn't think it was a good idea to rush to the house. "I say we take another route, this lake is too open." I said. "But don't you think the house would have a good amount of loot? I mean, it is called Loot Lake afterall." Lily said. "You're right, but we would be way too susceptible to being sniped." I said. "Maybe we can go for a supply drop?" Abigail said. "They have good loot, as well as being in less busy areas." "Hm, that could work. Are there any nearby?" I said. "I saw one on my map earlier!" Shiver chimed in. "We can head to it, it's only west of here!" "Okay, lead the way." I said before heading toward the supply drop. We walked west, trying to stay in cover as much as we could. When we finally got to the drop, I opened it while the others kept watch. Inside was a Chug Jug, a Purple Assault Rifle, and a Gold Pump Shotgun. I immediately took the pump, and Lily took the rifle. Abigail took the Chug Jug as she needed it the most. Afterward, we grabbed the other supplies and ran off. The storm started to close in again, but this time very close. There were about 14 of us now, and the storm was pushing us into the city I saw in my dreams. It was named Tilted Towers, and we headed into it through a mountain route. The city was very busy, with people shooting all over. Me, Shiver and Lily ran behind a building for cover, but we couldn't say the same for Abigail. She stuttered, not moving a muscle. She had been knocked. I tried to go over to revive her but it was too busy. We had to let her be eliminated. We rushed some more people and eliminated them, leaving only 4 left. With the last student surrendering, I grabbed my Gold Pump and shot. We had won and graduated, but we couldn't say the same for Abigail. When we were teleported back to the academy, we were given our diplomas and congratulated for surviving the whole event. I felt like this was a war crime however, forcing students to fight to graduate? At least they didn't die, but it doesn't make sense to me. I just ran home, not even driving. I ran all the way home, as if I had lost it. Which I had.
