Shepard is unusually pissed at most things and is feeling particularly lonely. That is until she starts getting messages from an anonymous person (not for long) that makes her feel special. Well a different special than the First Human Spectre. She learns that not everyting in life comes easy. Garrus/FemShep. Future language, violence and who knows what else. Slight AU throughout.

One-Shot written for the February Aria's Afterlife Contest.- Killing is simple. Some kill to live, others to protect, the insane for fun, but a few for the money. In a galaxy this big though, that's a lot of people. This is one such hired gun's day.

The war is nearing its conclusion. The Systems Alliance is in complete shambles, as are the major governments of nearly every other space fairing race. The reapers are winning. The only organization not utterly decimated is Cerberus. It is now the only power left that can effectively protect the Human race. But to do that requires the utter defeat of all Alliance forces.

In this story: Shepard is Shepherd of the VDV, Anderson has a headache, the Council has coffee and the Reapers are ripped a new one. A parody of the many things I found illogical in Mass Effect proper, done up in my classic style of satire, thought and laughs. Enjoy!

Shepard, Jack and Aria are having one of their annual nights out. Away from routine, stress and pressure. However, the "bro time" turns out to be a hard promise to follow through since the only thing they end up talking about are their other halves.

Garrus makes an interesting find on what should be a routine intel run. Set a few months after ME2, kind of messing with the events before ME3. Shakarian romance.

Shepard wakes up after destroying the Reapers but is pulled back into angsty visions of the events that led up to the destruction of life as she knew it. Now she finds herself broken, battered, and completely alone.

"We had grown into one another somewhere along the way. We were officially a team." (Shannon A. Thompson, Take Me Tomorrow)

A drunk Shepard winds up between the sheets...with a batarian. But not just any batarian. All rights are retained by Bioware.

"You're alive, Shepard," she said, gently stroking his shoulder. "Isn't that enough?" But he didn't know if it could be. Somehow, 20 of his people – the Normandy's people – died in that attack and he lived. An alternate take on ME2 had Shepard survived the destruction of the SSV Normandy and never had to be rebuilt by Cerberus.

Before she was a hero, Commander Shepard was just another soldier. Before she was a soldier, she was a child. This is a story of that before. Two shot, Spacer F!Shepard.

So the idea behind this is that, sometime between ME2 and ME3, Shepard is reminiscing about her crew and describing them to someone- maybe it's Vega, or Anderson, or Kaidan even. This is my third one. I've done Grunt and Jack- so now I'm attempting a more sensible order. The language might be a little choice, but come on, it's Zaeed.

After Horizon, Joker's had enough of the sulking on board, so he decides to do something about it. It's just too bad for Cerberus that "doing something" means dumping Shepard and Kaidan alone on a dangerous planet to hash out their problems, a planet that one member of the crew is already intimately familiar with. Rated M, mostly for later situations and a whole lot of profanity.

Scars are memory. Images of the life one once lived. Being reborn, being fixed, doesn't change that. Her past was hers, the only thing left. She couldn't let it go. Warning: self-harm.

If only Shepard were there. He might have found a way to retake the Alarei, to find evidence that proved she was innocent. But Shepard wasn't there. He was dead, for nearly a year now and she was on her own. AU Drabble fic
