This is my personal take on what might have happened BETWEEN the very last two scenes of BBC's Merlin. Rating is a precaution because I don't know what will happen yet. Spoilers for Series 5.

On his death bed King Uther Pendragon confesses to his children, Arthur and Morgana that their brother didn't die sixteen years previously but had been locked away, hidden from everyone after he had had an epileptic seizure in public. This story mirrors the 8th Episode "The Beginning of the End" but with a twist. This is a slight AU the first chapters will follow the episode before deviating for the plot. What if Merlin and Mordred were brothers and this story Showcases Merlin attempting to do the right thing can he save his brother from Uther's hatred

Sometimes Merlin thought about that first night in the pub, when he'd been sure that putting up with Arthur Pendragon wasn't worth any possible benefit that might come from it at all. Looking at the wide and shining smile in front of him now, he knew it had been worth it after all; all of it.

Merlin's destiny was a great one, and Merlin was worthy of it. But it wasn't always easy. Just some thoughts on how Merlin's character, and Merlin's and Arthur's friendship developed through the series.

Is there any hope for both of them to survive, now that even Arthur realizes that what he feels for his friend is love?

Emily has been filming Merlin for years, now. She plays the role of Gwen, she and Bradley have become friends, but what she feels for him is more than friendship. The two of them attempt their first romantic scenes. What will happen?

Merlin is sick and Arthur has no idea what is going on. Especially when Merlin take on the looks and mind of a two year old.
