This AU story begins at the point in "Knockdown" when Rick and Kate are trying to figure out how to go after Lockwood without getting Ryan and Esposito killed. Castle's kiss shocks Kate into a realization.

A few weeks after their trip to the Hamptons at the beginning of season 5, Kate discovers she's pregnant. This is a short story of her finding out and both of them processing the news. A standalone story with only 3 chapters. I know the title sucks, I'm so sorry. COMPLETE.

Christmas, Beckett thought firmly, was humbug. It encouraged over-consumption, bratty behaviour, and unpleasantness – not to mention the migraine-inducing properties of tinsel, twinkling lights, or shining stars. An AU meeting, set in December of 2003. Almost five years after the death of her mother - and still reeling from the loss - Kate Beckett relies on an unlikely ritual to keep herself from spiralling and, in the process, meets someone who is as in need of a distraction this holiday season as she is. Authors Note: Sequel to Girl from Yesterday, No Time Lapse, the story picks up where we left off. It blends some Canon dialog, courtesy of Dust Jackets Dot Com then goes quickly and completely AU. This will describe what our friends have been up to, Rick and Kate WILL NOT END UP TOGETHER! Taking a Literary License to fill in the blanks.

It takes place after THE NOSE (Ep 05) and goes AU from there. Kate realizes that it's stupid to hunt LokSat on her own to protect the ones she loves because they will always be in the crosshair especially since they all know about LokSat. Whenever a case might be connected to LokSat their lives will be in danger. So they team up to find LokSat and take them down – together.

Post 5x16 "Hunt." Beckett takes care of Castle.

Rick is in prison for a crime he committed. He lost his appeal and Black Pawn needs someone to write for him. Black Pawn managed to hold the story about Richard Castle to being only local. They own the name Richard Castle so now they need a Ghost writer. They find one. - COMPLETE

Set directly after the finale scene of 4x23 Always and developing an alternative storyline following Castle and Beckett finally finding their way to each other. Things will unfold a lot differently and faster than they did on screen. The main theme will be their relationship and the events regarding their families as things continue to evolve.
