Second Chance

Chapter 1

"Hey girl!" Alya called over from the stairs.

I held onto my backpack strap as I greeted her, "Hey Alya."

"Are you ready for the party tomorrow night?" She asked.

I giggled, "Sure am. You?"

She smiled, "You bet I am. It's going to be so awesome and between us Nino got a connection to hook us up." She whispered the last part.

I looked over at Nino, eyebrow raised, "What? Cut loose a little Marinette. Booze at a teen party is always a must. Might do you some good."

I scuffed, "And what is that supposed to mean, exactly?"

Alya gave him a look and he shrank back, "Sorry, Mar, but it's true. It's been months and you're still so…stiff."

"And what is wrong with me focusing on my school work? I've earned it." I defended myself.

"Nothing, girl, nothing is wrong with it. He just means it would be good for you to not be so serious all the time. That's all." Alya said, clarifying for Nino.

I pursed my lips, "Didn't realize I was."

Alya smiled a little and put an arm over my shoulder, "I know. Everyone has their own way of getting over a break up. You've just dived right into any kind of work you can find, aside from school, you've been working in the bakery a lot more lately too. I barely see you, Mari. This party might just be the thing to help you relax. It'll be a good thing."

I raised an eyebrow, "And Anarka is okay with us drinking on the houseboat?"

Alya bit her lip, "Not exactly."

I sighed, "Alya." I whined her name as we all walked to our lockers.

"What's the matter, Mari?" Juleka asked me as she closed her locker.

"Did you know that Nino is bringing alcohol to the party tomorrow-" I began to say but was cut off by Juleka.

She put her hands over my mouth, "Shhhh. I already know. I asked him to."

She let go as I gasped, "Jules, why would you do that? You know your mom wouldn't allow it unsupervised."

"Shhh, Mari, keep your voice down. I know but it's really no big deal, it's not like we will be doing anything illegal. We're all of age."

I raised my eyebrow as I was still 17 as was Rose, Kim, Nino, Nathaniel and Mylene, 18 is the legal age. I'll be 18 come August 6th. It's the end of January now, the 27th to be exact.

She smiled sheepishly, "Well most of us. But Luka is gonna be there so it's fine. He's practically an adult."

"And have you asked your brother if he's cool with babysitting all of us." I asked, shaking my head.

Luka is 19 now, his birthday is September 26th, and I highly doubt he signed up for this. The Couffaine siblings thought of no better way to celebrate Juleka's 18th birthday. Ankara had agreed to the party as long as we were all responsible and didn't cause too much chaos while she spent the weekend away from home for work as her job needed her to travel for a meeting. She's going to be so disappointed in all of us when she finds out when she gets home on Monday. I don't like that thought.

Nino chuckled, "Babysitting? C'mon Mari, he agreed to it."

I looked back over to Juleka, she shrugged and smiled, "What? I have my ways."

I giggled and shook my head then I heard a really shrill voice yell out for Juleka. I looked to see Rose running up to her and crushing her in a hug and kiss. I laughed again at the affection, they are the first lesbian couple that came out in freshman year, the same time I was finally dating Adrien. But sadly not all fairy tales last, you have to wake up to reality some time. I shook my head from the thoughts. No. No depressing stuff today, I am going to have a good and positive day. And hopefully all the good vibes will last into tomorrow night when the party starts.

Rose turned to me and I swear I saw bright lights, "Oh my gosh Marinette! You look so cute today! Are you feeling better?"

I giggled, "Much. Thank you, Rose."

Today I decided to wear a red halter dress with my jean jacket, knee high black socks and my red converse, my hair is down in a dark wave down my back. A ribbon tied in the back to keep the sides of my hair in place. Instead of what's become my usual, jeans and a hoodie. Adrien and I had broken up over 6 months ago and he's moved on with Kagami while I, well, I'm a mess. A mess who is slowly starting to feel like herself again and it feels really good.

"I am happy to hear. Oh! Did you remember to tell your dad about the macaroons we need tomorrow?" Rose asked cheerfully.

I giggled, "Yes, Rose. Don't worry, I've got it covered."

She clasped her hands together in excitement, "Great. I can't wait."

She then turned to Juleka, "You may be turning 18 today but the real party begins tomorrow."

We all joined in laughter as we walked to our class. Ms. Bustier smiled as we all settled into our seats.

"I'm so glad to see everyone in good spirits today. Shall we begin with a roll call?"

Time Skip

I was sitting quietly in the library, books laid out as I worked on some homework when my phone chimed. The librarian looked over at me and I smiled at her sheepishly as I grabbed my phone from its spot on the table. I then quickly turned on the silent and opened my phone up to a message from Luka.

Luka: Hey

Delivered: 2:44 pm

Marinette: Hey, rockstar. What's up?

Delivered: 2:44 pm

Luka: Do you still need me to pick you up today?

Delivered: 2:45 pm

Marinette: Yes please. I still need to get some more materials for Jules

Delivered: 2:45 pm

Luka: Okay. I'm sure whatever you create, she'll love it

Delivered: 2:45 pm

Marinette: Thank you. Hey, did you know about Nino bringing alcohol tomorrow?

Delivered: 2:46 pm

Luka: Yes. I can play supervisor, it'll be fine. Don't sweat Mari

Delivered: 2:46 pm

Marinette: Oh. *sad face emoji* your mom is going to be disappointed in us

Delivered: 2:47 pm

Luka: Haha I think I should be the one worried about that. You worry too much

Delivered: 2:47 pm

Marinette: Hey, I love your mom, she's one of the best.

I just don't like disappointing anyone's parents, feels like a betrayal

Delivered: 2:48 pm

Luka: The feeling is mutual, my mom is always asking when you're coming over.

You are such a goody two shoes no wonder she loves you

Delivered: 2:48 pm

Marinette: Hey, it's simple respect. Besides I can be a little dangerous if I wanna be

Delivered: 2:49 pm

Luka: Ha oh yea miss dangerous, I'd like to see you try

Delivered: 2:49 pm

Marinette: *tongue sticking out emoji*

Delivered: 2:50 pm

I sighed then put my phone in my bag, then gathered up my things as school would be ending in 10 minutes. Luka is probably already outside waiting for me. This period is just a study hall in the library anyways so it's not like I'll miss any class time if I leave the library early. Once I have my things gathered I head across the courtyard to the locker room where I pass Adrien at the stairs.

"Mari?" He calls out.

Shit. Why can't he just ignore my existence? I sigh and turn around, "Oh, hey, Adrien."

He looks me up and down, clearly checking me out. Which annoys me now when it used to excite me. He's with Kagami, he shouldn't be looking at me like that.

"You look really nice today." He compliments me with a smile.

"Thanks." I say then turn around, walking away.

But of course he just has to catch up to me, "A-are you leaving school early?"

I sighed, getting the rest of what I needed for homework and closed my locker back up, shoving my things in my messenger bag as I put the strap across my shoulder.

"Yeah, Luka is waiting for me." I answered as I left the locker room. Adrien comes along, still following me.

"O-oh so you and him are dating now?" He asked.

I paused in my steps, "What? No, he's taking me to a fabric store to get some materials I need to finish Juleka's present I'm making her. Though I don't see how it's any of your business if we were."

Sure enough there he was, waiting for me at the bottom of the steps, leaning against his motorcycle. Wearing his black leather jacket, black ripped jeans and his usual white Jagged t-shirt and black converse. He smiled upon seeing me come out then frowned seeing who was following me. Adrien sighed.

"Mari, I didn't mean it like that. I was just thinking it would be good for you, you two deserve a second chance. I still care about you, you know." He said, a small smile on his face.

I laughed a little, "Right. Well, I've gotta go, Adrien."

I was almost to Luka when Adrien's hand stopped me, "Mari don't be like this. I'm really trying here, I'm still your friend. I honestly only want to see you happy. What do you say to all of us hanging out later? Me, you, Alya, and Nino, like old times. I miss you, Mari."

I took my hand from his, "I can't. I'll be working on Juleka's gift later and tomorrow morning I'll be helping my dad make everything for the party."

His smile fell, "Oh. Alright, have a good day then."

"Yeah, you too." I said as I grabbed the spare helmet from Luka, strapping it on my head.

He nodded to Luka before heading back inside the school. Luka looked over at me, eyebrows raised.

"You wanna talk about it?" He asked, getting his helmet on and balancing the bike.

I sighed and wrapped my arms around him like clockwork, "Definitely not. Can we just go?"

He sighed then started up the bike and in the blink of an eye we took off. It didn't take us long to get to where I needed to go and gather all that I needed then head back to my house. Luka came upstairs with me to my room to help as my mom gladly made us some warm green tea with honey mixed in. This woman loves Luka, I swear she's secretly planned our wedding at some point. Dad is pretty fond of him too, which says a lot, as he brought up a plate full of fresh chocolate chip cookies.

"Papa, we have enough, you can go now." I whined as he came up for a second time with sandwiches.

Dad gets a little flustered, "Well you can never have too many snacks."

He said grumbling down the stairs, I sighed as I rolled my eyes as I took off my jacket and pulled the ribbon out of my hair as I found a hair tie. Luka lounges on my chaise, helping himself to the cookies.

He smiles and chuckles at me, "He's just trying to be a good host."

I roll my eyes as I gather all my hair and put it in a high ponytail. "No, he's trying to be a busy body." I mumble.

Luka laughs again and shakes his head looking over at me while I cross my arms over my chest.

"What?" I ask.

He shook his head, "It's nothing."

I shrugged then sat down in my desk chair and opened up my sketch book, flipping to the page where I have a dress sketched out. It's an off shoulder dress that ends about knee length, I have black lace for the sleeves that flow elegantly down the sides, like something out of a renaissance film. I've always loved that era, the gowns were always so beautiful. The dress itself has a corset style for the bodice and then flows down like ripples, as if it were something out of a fantasy book. The main color being purple obviously as that's her favorite color and black to compliment it. I grabbed my marking pen and put my reading glasses on, getting on my hands and knees as I lay out the fabric and got to work cutting out my pieces and pinning the pattern down.

"Oh, Mari. She's going to love it. Why don't you take a break, you've been at it for a while." Luka says, breaking my concentration.

I take my foot off the pedal to my sewing machine and sigh, knowing he's leaning over me.

"Yes, but this dress won't make itself."

He sighed, then massaged my shoulders. "You're tense, Mari. Come take a break and eat, I promised your mom you would."

I sighed and swiveled my chair around, "Of course you did. Wouldn't want to disappoint her now and be demoted." I said sarcastically.

He scuffed, "Please, I'm an angel in your mom's eyes. Nothing I do would upset her."

I laughed, "Someone sounds pretty full of themselves."

He shrugged, "Mom's love me, what can I say? It's a gift."

I laughed again and sighed as I reluctantly sat by Luka on my floor as he laid out two plates full of the dinner my mom prepared that night. Looks like tonight it's sweet and sour chicken with rice. I looked over at my alarm clock, 6:50 pm, blinking at me in big red numbers. Wow, I can't believe it's that late already. I picked up the plate and started eating.

"Speaking of moms, wouldn't yours want you home by now?" I asked.

He chuckled, "Mari, I'm 19 years old, I have no curfew."

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever."

"I promised I'd help you finish the dress and that's what I'm going to do. I'm sure your mom won't mind me crashing here." He said.

I sighed, "You're probably right. Though I don't have much left to do. I just have to finish sewing the main bodice then attach the sleeves and thread the ribbon through the corset."

He smiled, "You always amaze me when you get like this."

I was chewing some chicken when I looked at him, I swallowed my piece and cleared my throat, "Like what?"

I sipped some tea, "All business like. You're so focused and driven when you're working on something. It's a sight to see." He explained.

I smiled, "Oh, thank you."

He nodded, taking a bite of his food, "You're welcome, Mari. I just wish you'd relax once in a while, you get so tense when you work."

I sighed and rolled my eyes, "You sound just like Alya."

He raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh?"

I nodded, "Yeah that's basically what she told me today. That I need to and I quote, 'just let loose sometimes because I've been stiff', then Nino backed her up."

I shook my head, "Apparently wanting to do well makes you too serious."

He chuckled, "There's nothing wrong with wanting to do your best but I can see their point. They just don't want you to end up closed off to your surroundings and don't want you to stress so much. They just want to see you happy and well, so do I."

I nodded and sighed, "That's what Adrien said too. He just wants to see me happy."

I scuffed setting my half eaten plate down, "What is it with everyone saying that? I am happy. I'm doing really well. My grades have never been better and I love helping my parents in the bakery. Just because I don't have a boyfriend doesn't mean I'm not happy."

Luka sighed and set his plate down too, "Mari, I know all of that. And I for one am very proud of all your accomplishments but even you have to agree that you've still been a little depressed since the break up. Doing all that you're doing is so great but it's a distraction from the real problem Mari. You're not over Adrien."

I stood up and scuffed, "Yes I am. It's just hard seeing him all… like that. It's like we never happened, like I never meant anything. It makes me doubt myself and the whole idea of love, Luka. How can two people go from loving each other so much it consumes them to barely acknowledging each other at all? What does that say about me? Am I really that easy to forget?"

"Never. You have such a big heart, Marinette, I've personally witnessed what it's like to be loved by you and it's something incredible. But like you said, what you had with Adrien consumed you. It suffocated you, until there was nothing left of you and now that he's gone, you don't know what to do or think anymore. So it makes sense that you find other things to put all your energy into, I just don't want to see it burning you out too."

I smiled at him, "Thanks Luka. You always know what to say."

He shrugged, "It's a gift."

I laughed as I looked at him and thoughts of what Adrien said came back to mind. I giggled to myself and shook my head.

"What?" Luka said with a smile.

I shook my head, "Nothing, something dumb Adrien said to me today."

"What was it?"

I giggled, "Well, before he followed me out to meet you, he asked if we were dating."

Luka's mood changed a little, "What did you say?"

"I told him that we weren't though it wouldn't be any of his business if we were. Then he told me he just thought it would be a good thing and that we deserve a second chance. Can you believe it? My ex was trying to give me dating advice. It's hilarious." I said, shaking my head and laughing again.

Luka smiled but it faltered. "I mean there's no way you still have feelings for me like that, it's been years. You've even had a girlfriend before. Adrien is nuts."

"Y-yeah, totally crazy." He said, looking lost in thought.

"Luka, are you okay?" I asked, looking at him with concern as I picked up on his total mood change.

There's no way, is there? He shook his head from the thoughts, "Y-yeah I'm fine. C'mon let's finish the dress. I'll go take these downstairs."

Luka then gets up and carries the plates downstairs to the kitchen sink, I shake it off and go back to working on the dress. Luka and me. Me and Luka. I admit there was a time I started having genuine feelings for him as more than a friend when we tried to date but I couldn't really focus on it back then. Thoughts of Adrien clouded my mind like a thick fog I couldn't see through. But things are different now. I shake my head once more to get the thoughts to go away, I don't have time to ponder having unresolved feelings for Luka when I have a dress that needs to be done by tonight. What feels like mere minutes turn into hours as I finally stretch, my work complete, the dress on my mannequin finished and I have to say looks very nice. Very Juleka. The alarm clock read 1:38 am. Luka already went up to my bed to relax as he said, code for listening to music on his phone. I sighed and quickly changed into my pajamas, keeping myself out of sight. Not like Luka would look anyways, I know I'm safe with him. I reluctantly climb up to my bed and settle in next to Luka, who's already half asleep. He was awake enough to pull back the covers for me and help me settle in, it takes moments as my head touches my pillow to fall asleep. Not before I felt Luka's lips on my forehead, kissing me goodnight.

"I do Mari. I still love you. I've never stopped." He whispered as I fell asleep.

The Next Day

"Marinette! C'mon or we're going to be late to the party!" Alya yells from downstairs.

I looked over at my alarm clock, time reading 7 pm. The party is already supposed to be starting, Luka left this morning to go help set up everything and so I could finish any final touches with the dress and wrap it up. She ran over here first to pick me up for the party, we agreed to walk together. While Nino does what he does with his so-called 'connection' which is code for his older cousin, Andy. I've met him a handful times during junior year and he's really chill, he and Alix got along great given that they are both skaters. I finished a few final touches with my lip gloss as I called back down to her.

"I'm coming geez Alya."

I put my hair up in space buns today and dressed pretty casually. Wearing a red cami top, black shorts and matching black jean jacket with my red converse. I clipped my earrings in and adjusted the bracelet on my wrist, the one I made out of a guitar string with the pic Luka gave me when we met along with a charm bracelet that Alya and I got each other for Christmas one year. I sighed giving myself one last look before I grabbed my purse and Juleka's present from my chaise seat and made my way downstairs. Alya held out her hands to grab the present so I can make the rest of the way down without falling.

"Wow Mari, this is a beautiful wrapping." Alya commented looking over the gift box.

I got one of those plain white shirt gift boxes and wrapped the dress up in some black tissue paper then taped the box up and wrapped it in a metallic purple wrapping paper and tied a huge black bow on top of the corner, with a small card slipped under the bow with Juleka's name on it. Alya was dressed similar to me except she had a white tank top on with her usual plaid shirt, only now it was tied under her chest and in tan shorts and her orange converse. Her hair is up in a high ponytail, her tan watch on the right wrist and our charm bracelet on the other as we both barely ever take them off.

I giggled, "Thanks Alya."

She grinned, "I'm sure she's going to love it. You have a talent for gift-giving."

I laughed as my mom came around the corner with some tea, "Leaving already girls?"

We smiled at her and nodded, "Yes Mrs. Cheng, we've gotta get going or we're going to be later than we already are." Alya told her with a smile.

"Oh, alright. You two have fun but not too much fun okay?" Mom said.

I sighed, "Yes mama."

Mom hugs me tight then lets me go, I smile at her as I make my way out the door, Alya leaving first when I stopped as mom called out for me.

"Marinette, wait. Do you have your phone, keys to the house and to your scooter, extra clothes? I thought you said it was a sleepover too." Mom said, worried.

I held up my purse where I kept everything, "I've got it all in here, as for the clothes Jules will have extra for me to change into."

Mom sighed, "Good. Dad is finishing loading the scooter with what's needed for the party, make sure to thank him."

"Of course I will. Bye, I love you." I called waving to her as I made my way down the stairs.

"I love you too." She yelled then soon enough Alya and I were outside.

The warm Spring sun greeted us as we walked over to my scooter, where my dad was closing the seat, seeing my two helmets on the ground next to it. I smiled over at him and reached up to give him a kiss on the cheek once I caught up to him.

"Thank you daddy." I said to him, with a smile.

He smiled down at me and chuckled, "Anything for my girl." He said, hugging me in one of his famous bear hugs.

He looked over at Alya and I as we put the helmets on, "You two be safe now, you hear?"

We both nodded, "We will, don't worry Mr. Dupain, I'll keep her outta trouble." Alya told my dad with a laugh.

He laughed back and nodded, "I'm sure you will Alya."

With that I started up my scooter and took off once I knew Alya had Juleka's gift secure as well as holding on to me. It didn't take long before we got to the houseboat and I parked my scooter by Luka's motorcycle. The music from the speakers is already loud and deafening, some kind of dub-step is playing. What happened to no chaos? Everyone from our class was there and then some, where did all these other people come from? I looked over at Alya, both of us thinking the same thing as we shared confused looks. Rose was the first to see us and came running over, dragging Mylene with her.

"Marinette, you're finally here. Everyone is starving!" She exclaimed.

I laughed and opened my seat compartment, where all the macaroons and other pastries my father baked for us. I helped him of course this morning with most of it, it just came time to when I needed to package them all up that I had to start getting ready. Dad took care of the rest for me. Rose happily started helping unload the goodies as well as Mylene. I noticed Ivan saw us, cutting off his conversation with Kim and ran over to help.

"What kind of man would I be if I let all the ladies do the work?" He said as he took the boxes from Mylene.

Mylene giggled, "Aw thank you teddy bear."

We all laughed as we made our way onto the houseboat and towards the tables set up off to the side that have all kinds of food laid out and next to it a table for all the gifts. Juleka looked over from where she was talking to Luka and walked over to me with a smile, holding her arms out to me. I held my arms out to her as we met each other and hugged. Luka walked up behind her and smiled over at us.

"Mari, I'm so glad you're here. We were all waiting for you two. You and Alya are the last to arrive besides Nino of course." She said cheerfully.

For once her beautiful hair was pulled up into a ponytail and her bangs were clipped to the side with a barrette showing her serene face. She was wearing a purple cami with a black ripped cami over it and black shorts like mine and black heels for a change. She looked amazing.

"You look amazing Jules." I said with a smile.

She grinned back, "Thank you, oh this must be the gift Luka kept telling me about." She said, happily taking the present from Alya.

I scowled at him, "You told her?"

"No, I just told her it was something she was going to love for a very long time." He defended.

Juleka laughed, "I can't wait to open it."

"Why don't we just do it now, Jules? Everyone is pretty much here, don't you want to open your gifts before the real party starts." Alya suggested.

Juleka nodded, "Yes, you're right Alya. Good idea."

Rose started clapping to get everyone's attention but the music was too loud. She got annoyed and we all were shocked when she screamed out hey.

"Juleka is going to open her presents now, get your butts over here!" She yelled at everyone as Max cut the music.

Juleka took a seat in the middle of the deck as everyone either stood or sat around her as Rose helped her open the gifts and she gave her thanks. I was leaning against the bar table, arms crossed as I watched her open gifts, smiling at all her reactions. Luka came over and rested his elbow on the table as he stood with me, smiling at his sister. It makes my heart swell at the sibling bond they have, each happy for the other. It's so sweet. Rose brought over my gift for her, the last one.

"I saved the best for last." Rose said as she winked at me.

I shook my head and giggled as Juleka happily took the box. Grabbing the card she smiled as she read aloud.

"Juleka, I hope you find yourself as beautiful as I do. Happy 18th. May all your wishes come true, Marinette."

Everyone awed as they looked over at me, I waved them off and giggled as she carefully opened the gift, getting to the tissue paper. I swear her eyes bugged out of her head at the sight as she gasped, putting her hands to her mouth. She stood up then as she took the dress out of the package and looked down at it, twirling it a little as she held it close to her. She looked over at me with tears in her eyes, nothing but gratitude and love in those honey brown orbs, then ran over to me and crushed me into a hug.

"Mari, it's gorgeous, the best present ever. Thank you so much!"

I giggled, "You're welcome."

She jumped in excitement, "I'm gonna go put it on!" She exclaimed then ran down to her bedroom to do just that. I laughed after her and the party went back to how it was shortly after, Rose and Mylene then helped carry all of Juleka's gifts to her room. It didn't take long for Juleka to change and come back out, spinning around. She really did look amazing in the dress, I take some pride in my work complimenting her so well.

"You look hot, Juleka!" Kim shouted from where he was talking to Max.

Jules blushed and laughed as Luka looked over at Kim, with a 'you better think carefully about your next choice of words', kind of look.

"Who's ready to party!" Nino shouted from the bridge to get onto the houseboat, holding the alcohol up in the air.

Cheers could be heard from everywhere and I watched as Nino and his cousin help load the booze onto the boat. I counted 3 kegs. Then from behind them were Kagami and Adrien, hand in hand as Adrien had a 6-pack in his free hand, helping Nino. I went rigid at the sight of them, I didn't think they would be coming due to how strict their parents are. Of course I should have known Nino would help Adrien out of whatever rule his father set. Luka noticed my change and sighed.

"You okay, Mari."

I nodded, "Yeah, why wouldn't I be? They are just people here to support Juleka and enjoy the party. No other significance."

Luka sighed, "Marinette."

I brushed it off and walked over to where people were already using the kegs and poured myself a drink and downed it in one go. Adrien I can handle seeing every now and then because we're in the same school together but Kagamai was still being home schooled and I haven't seen her in months. Right around the time I first saw her with him. Know how Adrien and I broke up? He cheated on me. With her. I caught them kissing one night when I was supposed to be meeting Adrien for a date. The details got blurred for me, all I know is that one minute all was well then the next, boom. We ended up in a huge fight and the rest was history. I closed myself off and cut him out, I didn't want to hear from him or listen to any excuses he might have tried. I was just done.

The betrayal was too great for me, it drowned me. She was supposed to be my friend. She lied to me about not having feelings for Adrien anymore, how happy she was for me. Yet in the first weakened moment she got, she kissed him and it's not like Adrien pushed her off him. Luka knows, he's the only one who knows how it really affected me. I remember being unable to claw my way out of that pit of despair that it got to be too much at one point and I almost harmed myself. Luka stopped me. He always stopped me from going totally over board. I downed another drink and another. Welcoming the buzz I was getting. No more, sad thoughts Marinette. Get a grip. You're supposed to be having fun, letting loose like what Alya said. That's exactly what I did.

A few hours passed when Alya found me dancing with Juleka, Mylene and Rose and pulled me past a table where a few people were playing beer pong to the bar where the jell-o shots were. Alya handed me one and grabbed one herself, she crossed arms with me and we downed them.

"Ladies, ladies. That is not how you do jell-o shots, this is." Nino said as he draped an arm over Alya.

Grabbing one of the little cups and dumping it on Alya's chest, then proceeded to eat it off her, smirking like the Cheshire cat as she blushed. Alya and I laughed at his antics.

"Please, that's just your excuse for wanting to see some girl on girl action. You're such a perv, Nino." I teased.

"A guy can dream." He said back, downing whatever drink he had in his cup.

Alya laughed then grabbed a jell-o shot, then dumped it between my boobs. I was laughing so much that it jiggled as she smirked at me, wanting to put on a show and I honestly didn't care. Alya's tongue twirled the jell-o around on me then she lapped it up, bringing it to my neck before she bit it and swallowed it.

"Shit that was hot." Nino said, looking awestruck.

At that point most of the guys gathered around to watch us eat jell-o off each other. It was Alya's turn again but before she did, she gave me a look that told me to just go along with it, I nodded. She dropped the jell-o on me once again and moved it up my neck with her tongue then she did something I was not expecting. She moved the jell-o up to my mouth as she kissed me. Then pulled away while we both chewed half of the shot, laughing at the guys' reactions. It was just so hilarious to mess with them like that, I could see where Alya's plan was heading.

"Holy shit." Kim said breathlessly and blinked.

"Alright all of you beat it, go hose down or something. Damn." Luka said, trying to shoo the guys away from us.

Alya and I bursted out laughing as the guys went elsewhere, leaving us with Luka. Luka grabbed my arm and pulled me to him. "Don't you think you've had enough, Mari."

I shoved him away to get out of his grasp, "I'm fiiine Lukaa. Alya! Let's go dancing!" I shouted as I pulled her along with me.

My head buzzed in rhythm to the beat of the music that was playing, like something at a rave. I lost myself in the music as I danced with Alya, Nino joining her. I laughed and looked around, a golden color caught my eye and I just paused… Adrien. And upon a closer look, he and Kagami were going at it wayyy too much. I nearly gagged. I found the closest drink to shut the sight out, then I got another and another. The buzz intensifies creating that fog I like. Where I don't have to think about anything other than having fun with my friends.
