A Japanese Weresheep in Mutsuba Town

Summary:
There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.
Chapter 21: Attack of the Clone?
"It's certainly surprising. Who would've thought Zuwijo would open a bakery?" Yuamu mused.
"Boiled Bagel Requiem? Boiled Bagel…Boiled…Void…Oh, Voidvelgr! I get it!" Yuhi was pleased with himself.
Yudias and Zuwijo were having a silent confrontation out of Galaxy Form, Yudias in his UTS duds and Zuwijo looking like Manabu, standing across from each other while everybody else sat on the bench.
"This reunion won't go anywhere, chupa."
"It's not like Zuwijo is gonna just tell Yudias what all his plotting's about!"
Mitsuko, out of her armour, brought a plate of sandwiches. "All you need to know for now is the Great King of Terror is on the horizon."
"Ah. Rovian said as much. Which really wasn't much!" Yuhi remembered Rovian's cryptic remarks and gomenasorry.
"Till then, the local trouble ought to be addressed."
"Asaka-chan has been having us talk to the complainers in town."
"Not them. I was referring to the rumoured incidents of a boy/girl couple wreaking havoc."
"Incidents? What incidents?"
An explosion occurred in the woods by the bakery.
"Like that," Mitsuko stated.
"I found you, servants of the Black Hole Empire!" A girl was in front of the huge flame-lit plume of smoke.
"Hey, isn't that the actress you hired to do the commercial for your anime?" Yuhi asked.
"Hitsujigaoka Megumu-chan?"
"Mememelody! Cattle Meetimeetion!" She transformed, as she did in the anime!
"ME-ME-MEEEG-CHAN?" Chupataro had a fan freakout.
"Tha-that has to be cosplay, right?"
"Meeg isn't a cosplayer!" She stuck out her tongue at Yuhi. "Bleh!"
"Dense, aren't you?" a familiar voice teased.
"Who's there?" Yudias demanded.
The OG Chupataro walked his robot through the flames, like he was coming to terminate somebody. Dundun dun dundun! Dundun dun dundun!
Zuwijo, Mitsuko, and our Chupataro remained stone-faced. The twins and Yudias, on the other hand…
"Eh? Could it be?"
"You're –!"
"Disappointed, chupa! That Chupa's reputation has taken such a dive thanks to MIK's clone, chupa!"
"What do you want, chupa?" the Chupataro in UTS' camp snarled.
"You got stronger, huh, chupa? Chupa heard you wasted your endurance creating a new card with the Earthdamar, chupa? And based on this stupid human, no less! But behold, chupa! The real Chupa grew strong enough to bring Meeeg-chan to life forever with Chupa's piece of the Earthdamar, cabra!" he reintroduced and kissed Meeeg-chan.
"G-girlfriend?" was our Chupataro's response.
"Chupataro isn't like you anymore! He's with us now!"
"Well said, Yuhi!" Yudias was touched by Yuhi's defence. "Chupataro is my eternal friend and I will vouch for his reformation!"
"In the end, he's an inferior copy, chupa!"
"Valvelgear on! Duel Disk Mode!"
"Your Earthdamar cursed Chupa's blood, chupa! But what a curse, chupa! Chupa'll be glad to use it to teach you how weak you are, cabra!"
"I'll beat you and release Chupataro from the spectre of his past!"
"Be careful, Yuhi!" Yuamu cautioned. "With your Earthdamar, he can make Meeeg-chan cause you real damage!"
"Even if he can, I can't sit around doing nothing! Duel me, ya evil alien!"
Yuhi… Our Chupataro's eyes glistened.
"Ohdo Yuhi!"
"The one and only Chupataro!"
"GO RUSH!"
"GO RUSH, CHUPA!"
"Here we go! My turn! Draw! I summon 'n release Jointech Ace and Cliptera! A joined zeal! And joined bravado! If we join infinite power, we can make an invincible beast! Jointech Rex! Advance Summon!" (Level 7 EARTH Machine/Effect ATK 2500 DEF 1500)
"To summon your Ace from the start…You must be scared what Chupa can do, chupa! As you should be, chupa!"
"I set two cards and end my turn!"
"Chupa's turn! Draw, chupa! Chupa summons two monsters and releases them, chupa! O beastly demon plant that has grazed civilizations to destruction! Grow your cotton bolls of terror! Ewekai Barwoolmetz! Advance Summon, chupa!" (Level 7 DARK Beast/Effect ATK 0 DEF 0)
"0 ATK and DEF?" Yudias was puzzled.
"It's a new high-Level monster Chupataro-kun hasn't played before, that's for sure!"
"What is THAT, chupa? Chupa wouldn't put that in Chupa's Deck, chupa! It's not cute at all, cabra!"
Cute? Ehehe! If I'm in his Deck, he must think I'm cute, hehe – Nonono, Yuhi! Now's not the time for that! Yuhi shook his head.
"Ewekai Barwoolmetz is an alien plant from the furthest reaches of the galaxy that grows sheep and then perishes, chupa! So Chupa sends it to the Graveyard to activate its effect, Special Summoning two Beast Normal Monsters from Chupa's Deck and adding one Magic Card to Chupa's hand, cabra!"
"THREE CARDS AT ONCE?" Yudias clenched his fists in bewilderment.
"Chupa releases the release fodder, chupa! Capturing the heart of the lonely chupacabra! Shaving the wool around his soul! Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan! Advance Summon, chupa!" (Level 7 LIGHT Beast/Normal ATK 2500 DEF 1600)
Instead of a second Meeeg-chan appearing, Meeeg-chan posed on her boyfriend's field.
"There she is," Mitsuko deadpanned. "Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan."
"Chupa sends the top five cards of Chupa's Deck to the Graveyard and activates the Magic Card Chupa added to Chupa's hand through Barwoolmetz's effect, chupa! Now, in the name of the true chupacabra, I drape this amaaaaazing power on Meeeg-chan! Equip Magic, Golden Fleece – Chrysomallos, cabra!"
Yuhi, Yuamu, and Yudias looked up simultaneously.
"Like how Chupa has permanently brought Meeeg-chan to life, Meeeg-chan equipped with this magic fleece will never leave Chupa's side, chupa! She can't be destroyed by battle or Trap Cards; also, during the turn it is equipped, Chupa can double the damage from one card to your Life Points, chupa!
"Battle and Trap protection. And a built-in effect to inflict a potentially large amount of damage to Yuhi? What a burdensome card…" Yuamu worried.
"Chupa's not done, chupa! When Chupa controls Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan, Chupa can activate the Magic Card Melomelo-Meeeg*Ewekai Princess Halation, chupa! Due to its effect, this turn, if Meeeg-chan destroys a monster by battle, you take damage equal to the original ATK of the destroyed monster, cabra!"
"But Jointech Rex and Meeeg-chan are tied in ATK values. Neither will be destroyed if Chupataro attacks!"
"No, that isn't it, Yudias," Yuamu corrected. "When two monsters in Attack Position with the same ATK battle, both monsters are destroyed. However, since Meeeg-chan is protected by that Equip Magic…"
"Only Jointech Rex will be destroyed…" Yuhi quivered.
"And Yuhi will lose Life Points equal to Jointech Rex's ATK…"
"And I'll take double damage cuz of Golden Fleece – Chrysomallos…"
"At last, you're starting to understand, chupa? Chuchuchu CHUPA! Obcinerate! Magical Sheep Girl Meeeg-chan's attack! MELOMELO-MEEEG*EWEKAI PRINCESS HALATION!"
"5000!" Yuhi fell to his knees. (Yuhi LP 4000 ↓ 0)
Meeeg-chan's Earthdamar-powered attack cleaved through Jointech Rex and spun towards Yuhi.
"This is bad! If Yuhi is hit by that –!" Yuamu cried out.
"YUHI!" Yudias screamed.
Yuhi's life flashed before his eyes.
"A WEAK EARTHLING, CHUPA HAS NO USE FOR, CABRA!"
"YUHI!"
"YUHI!"
Chupataro (the "good" one) ran into the fray to rescue Yuhi. Before the attack connected, he jettisoned from his robot, propelling himself at Yuhi and knocking both of them just beyond the fringes of the blade of light.
His robot, though, was annihilated in the blast.
The attack went on undeterred, Yuamu, Yudias, Zuwijo, Mitsuko, and the customers of Boiled Bagel Requiem scattering out of its way.
Meeeg-chan's attack struck the bakery, blowing it up. First, it was flattened by EX6! Now, blown up by the Magical Sheep Girl?
"Zuwijo! That was payback for what you did to Chupa, CHUPAPAPAPA CHU-PAPAPAPA!" Chupataro (the "evil" one) laughed. "Do you see, Mutsuba Town? Chupa is taking it back, chupa! Chupa's identity, chupa! This is the real Chupataro! CHUPA IS THE ORIGINAL, CABRA!"
