Chapter 2: There Must Have Been Some Magic in That Old Silk Hat:

Frosty's POV:

They all saw me coming to life. "There must have been some magic in that hat," says Didi.

"Magic," asks Hinkle, "my hat?" He then takes the hat and I'm just snow again. "If this hat is magic, then it's mine!"

"But what about Frosty," asks Didi, "you know, the snow man the hat brought to life?"

"I didn't see any of that," Hinkle lies, "I didn't even hear the snowman say, 'Happy Birthday'."

"Then how do you know that happened," asks Didi.

"Look, the President," says Hinkle.

"Huhh?" All the kids look, and Hinkle runs away.

. . .

As Hinkle walks, Hocus Pocus takes the hat and hops away with it.

. . .

"Maybe we did imagine it," says Ben.

"No, I know he came to life," says Didi.

Then they saw Hocus Pocus place the hat on my head and I came to life again. "Happy Birthday," I said, "hey, I said my first word! Could I believe..." I then checked to make sure. "Yeah, I'm alive! Kids, let's have some fun!"

. . .

We then played some winter games in the school playground.

Hinkle's POV:

I was walking, but then I realized something... where is my hat? Hocus Pocus must've taken it and gave it back to that snowman! I guess that's what I get for getting a rebellious rabbit. No one makes a fool out of me!
