"Princess? Princess, you awake?" Adrien whispered. "Hm," came the reply. Adrien rolled over and sighed. It was Christmas, and Marinette was still deeply asleep. "A coffee scented perfume? Yes, please." Adrien looked at his wife, and giggled. Marinette loved her coffee, and could be cranky and slow without her morning coffee. Wait, that's it!

He would go downstairs, get the coffee brewing, and then scope out tree! Brilliant plan, Agreste. Suddenly, there was loud sound, coming from one of the small hammocks that Marinette had strung up for Tikki and Plagg, their Kwamis.

Oh, cheese and crackers, Plagg was snoring as he held a wedge of cheese tightly with both little paws. "Love, can you lower the purr?" Marinette asked, sleepily, rolling over and hugging her pillow. "That's not me, its-" Adrien spluttered. "Thanks, I love you."

Ah, that was more like it. "Love you, too, my sweet Bugaboo." Adrien carefully got out of bed, scooping up his clothes and his Kwami and headed for the bathroom.

"Is it morning?" Plagg yawned, then saw the mound of cheese in front of him. "Wait, I don't care! Cheese!" Adrien laughed outright, as Plagg snarfed down the food. "Easy. Save room for breakfast, buddy."

He smoothed his green sweater, and carefully brushed his hair. Okay, he couldn't wait anymore, he flung open the bathroom door, and hurried quietly downstairs.

And there it was, the Dupain-Cheng Christmas tree. "Ahem, Adrien?" Plagg flew in front of his face. "Aren't you forgetting something?" "Oh, right. Get the coffee brewed, and then stare at the presents."

Was coffee more effective then a alarm clock? Because soon, Tom and Sabine (Marinette's parents) were coming downstairs, closely followed by Marinette, who looked adorable in a red sweater with a Christmas tree on it.

"Who wants pancakes for breakfast?" Sabine asked in her gentle way. "Ooh, me! Me!" Adrien said, and Nikki zoomed up to Mama Cheng. "Can you make chocolate chocolate chip pancakes?" she squeaked in her excitement. "Of course. And Adrien?" "Yes, Mama Cheng?" "Thanks for making the coffee, dear." Adrien smiled softly. "Anytime."

Marinette laughed as she sat on the couch, watching Adrien gently shake some of the boxes. She wrapped herself in her pink soft blanket, grinning. "Adrien, we'll open presents right after breakfast!" "I know, I should be patient, but the suspense is killing me!" "Ah, so its not curiosity this time?"

"My Lady, you are clever this morning," Adrien stood up, walking over for a kiss, and a pound it. "I am known for having good ideas from time to time. But your the pun master, and have taught me well." "Your Cat Noir! Not a Jedi!"

"You don't know what Plagg and I do while your at sewing class!"

"Breakfast!" Sabine called. Marinette laughed again, as Adrien was first to the table. Oh, this is what Christmas morning should be like. Good fun, and laughter, followed by sticky fingers from syrup.

After, they opened presents, ending Adrien's suspense. As each gift was opened, the mound of wrapping paper grew.

Before the annual watching of a Christmas movie, there was a wrapping paper fight.

Snowed swirled outside the windows, but inside the Dupain-Cheng's, warmth, love and laughter were to be found.
