Darkness, Do you know the saying when the past always comes back to haunt you and bite you in the literal ass. Well, they were right, you can't run forever; there's always a shadow stalking you in the night.
How do I know this, well I've been trying to break free of my fucked-up past. Yet, for some reason, the past keeps restraining me from creating a better future for myself and my older sister.
My name is Fayenyra Mikaelson, I know a weird name; you can thank my mother for that. I come from a long of the tales you hear about creatures that go bumping in the night.
The school behind me is for people like me, well, or should I say werewolves, vampires, and witches. The Salvatore School has no limitations in accepting any kind of breed.
"The Salvatore School, which resides in the heart of Mystic Falls, is no typical school. It's a home for those of us who are different, who are lost, who are alone. It's a haven where we are taught how to control our abilities, our instincts, our curses. Where we can be ourselves without being scared of being judged.
I recalled the first time I set foot on its premises. I shivered as a flower caught in the wind, anxious. But when I walked through the entrance, it gave me an overall feeling of belonging which I had never experienced before. I was at home.
There, I came across a wide range of different species, all with their own story, difficulties, and afflictions. Several were born with supernatural abilities, whereas some were cursed or transformed against their will. We equally had one thing in common, though: we were all seeking to discover our way in a world that didn't understand us.
Yet within this secure sanctuary, my heritage seeps back in, as an enigmatic ghost that refuses to depart. The choices that I made in the life I have taken haunt me every day in my conscience.
Though, I have my sister with me who tries her best to keep me from sinking into darkness. Even, she battles with her inner demons, her dark previous past.
We hold on each other close making sure the other doesn't sink below to the ground. We keep our fire going, blazing high.
But, what happens when our fire begins to blow out and an even bigger fire comes our way? Would we burn in the flames or would we triumph our way out of it?
I guess you'll have to wait and see, for this is just the beginning of a long road ahead. You might want to make yourselves comfortable, for this story is a stony ride.

It was a late night at the Salvatore school, Fayenyra was in her dorm sitting on the bed floating objects in the air with her magic, her eyes glowing a bright lavender color, her fingertips flashing out.
She started to spin the objects around the room like a Ferris wheel.
Suddenly, a gulch of wind filled the room, the windows opening wide. Piles of leaves and branches began to fill the room causing her to lose focus. The objects started to shake in the air before losing their balance disperse around the room.
Fayenyra shut the windows close with a wrist of her hand, glancing around the room and seeing the damage she had caused to her dorm.
She lifted the broken pieces of the flower with her fingers immediately fixing them. Once cleaning up, the young Mikaelson girl made her way over to her desk, grabbed a book, and took a seat on the edge of the bed.
Opening the book, she began to flip through the pages trying to find some answers to her strange powers. Her special abilities were not like witch magic, they were more advanced and strong. Almost, like chaos magic which she feared not wishing to have such power like that.
As Fayenyra continued to flip through the pages, she landed on an illustration page of a blonde-haired man wearing a golden armor suit, a crown on top of his head pointing a spear to another man that looked like a Titan.
She directed her eyes to the lower bottom of the page staring at the tiny description of the photo and reading it out loud. The almighty King of Gods vs Titan, during the titan-gods wars.
The young Mikaelson closed the book, almost wanting to snort at the ridonculous of the mention of gods and titans. Such beings like that only resisted in folk tales, there was only god himself who was the lord's savior.
She was disrupted from her thoughts when she heard a knock on the door. " Lizzie, if that's you trying to play another prank on me you'd better go before I turn you into a pumpkin head.
The door opened. Hope strolled into the room fully dressed in her school uniform. She closed the door behind her and made her way toward her sister and said. " Hey, how would you feel about going on a little road trip?"
Fayenyra glanced up at her sister and said. " Is it to another country such as Paris?"
" No " The older Mikaelson replied.
The young Mikaelson signed out in disappointment, wanting nothing more than to get away from the school for a while. " Then, I'm not interested."
Hope shook her head at her sister's tone and took a seat on the bed beside her. " Look, Dr. Saltzman needs our help."
" Doesn't he always? " Fayenyra said, scoffing knowing Dr. Saltzman only thought of them as weapons to use, he didn't give a damn about them; they were the daughters of the man he hated.
" Look, there's a newly transformed werewolf in town. He needs our help, " Hope said. " His foster parents are going to try to force him to cleanse his sins in front of god."
The young Mikaelson girl tilted her head up at her sister, seeing her eyes pleading. " Why do you need me, you're far more capable than I to handle it."
Hope smiled at her sister and said. " Because I may need some backup to back me and you're my little sister.
She rolled her eyes at her sister's words and replied. "I am not that little, you may be a few inches taller than me but that doesn't mean I'm small.
" I'm still the eldest, " Hope said. " And, I could use your help, please.
The young Mikaelson girl signed and said, " Alright, fine I'll go.
" Good, we leave now, " Hope said, tugging her sister up.
The eldest Mikaelson snapped her fingers changing her sister's pajamas into a purple cozy jogger outfit. " Now, you're ready."
The two sisters walked out of the room making their way downstairs, out of the school building, and on towards the courtyard where they saw Dr. Saltzman loading up his van.
Dr. Saltzman glanced up and saw the two walking towards him. " Fayenyra, nice of you to join us."
Fayenyra nodded at him, she got in the back passenger seat and buckled up.
Dr. Saltzman and Hope got in the front side, buckling up tightly. The car soon started making its way out of the parking lot of the school and onto the main road.

" You sure this is the place Dr. Saltzman," Fayenyra asked, as the car came to a stop in front of a church.
" Yes, I'm sure " Alaric answered back, exiting the car with Hope
Fayenyra exited the car making her way toward the church, where she saw a dark-haired boy sitting on the church's steps.
Hope noticed her sister staring at something and she turned her head to see what she was looking at. A smile formed on her face when she saw a similar face standing in front of her.
" Landon " Hope breaking the silence between the three of them,
" Hope," Landon looked at them confused, not expecting to ever run into her again.
His face got more confused when he turned his head and saw Fayenyra" Fayenyra" He said.
Fayeneyra rolled her eyes at him and said. " That's not how you say my name, doofus's head."
" Fay " Hope said, scolding her sister at her choice of words.
" You three know each other, " Alaric asked.
" Yeah it's a long story " Hope answered not taking her eyes off Landon.
Suddenly their attention went on to the church where they heard a boy screaming in pain.
Fayenyra recognizes the scream right away, a scream that a werewolf would make when they transformed for the first time on a full moon. She remembered going through terrible pains last year when she had triggered her curse by killing her attacker.
A man who had assaulted her, she could still remember glimpses of that night. Her running into the forest, the man chasing behind her tackling her to the ground, stripping her clothes off and her trying to fight him off. Her magic had gotten out of control to the point she had set the entire forest on fire. She could still remember hearing the men's screams and seeing his flesh being burnt off.
The next morning, she made her way back to the school never telling anyone what happened; not even her own sister and intended to carry it to her grave.
Now a year later she was still getting used to being a werewolf and learning how to cope with her trauma.
" Dr. Saltzman " Hope warned, continuing to hear the screams getting louder.
Landon stood up from the steps and turned to look at the door not knowing what was going on.
Alaric held his crossbow and bag of weapons and walked towards the door.
Fayenyra and Hope followed closely behind him. He pulled at the door handles only to find it locked.
" The doors are locked ". He told them.
Hope lifted her hands and said. " Dissera Portus " opening the door up.
Landon stared at her in shock at what he was witnessing and was about to speak up until Hope cut him off.
" You're going to want to stay out here cutie trust me, " Hope said, walking inside.
" Wait, hold on, " Landon said, about to walk in until Fayenyra pushed him back.
" Look, stay out here for your safety, " Fayenyra said, sternly staring at him, before walking inside following behind Dr. Saltzman and her sister.
Once she entered, she saw a priest holding a cross in front of the werewolf boy who was beginning to shape-shift.
" Shut down the exorcist, would you? " Alaric asked the two girls who turned to each other.
" Silencio " Hope said, waving her hands up high and immediately closing the priest's mouth
Fayenyra's eyes glowed lavender lifting her hands she directed her eyes at the priest and the couple getting inside their mind, they glowed for a moment before dropping to the ground.
Alaric and Hope went to work chaining the new werewolf up. The boy began to growl as he started to shapeshift his fingers transformed into large claws.
Fayenyra looked on curiously and was impressed at how easy it was for him to turn, it took hours for most newly transformed werewolves, but in his case, it was quicker.
Hope and Alaric began to wrap the chains onto the wooden floor of the church while Fayenyra waited on the sideline.
" Fayenyra secure the chain around him, " Alaric instructed her.
She snapped her fingers transporting the chains from Dr. Saltzman's hands to around the boy's neck securing him, stepping back a little she saw a fully transformed black werewolf.
Fayenyra glanced at Landon who was standing a few meters from them. He watched the wolf closely, clearly confused and shocked.
He cleared his throat and said. " What is that?"
" It's a wolf, what else would it be? " Fayenyra said, sarcastically.
Hope shook her head amused at her sister's sarcasm, she glanced back at Landon smiling at him sadly.
Fayenyra turned to look at Dr. Saltzman. " What, now."
Alaric glanced up at the young Mikaelson girl and said. " We return to the school."
" I'm not going anywhere with you people, " Landon said, staring at them in shock.
Fayenyra turned around walking towards the Kirby boy slowly.
" Stay back, I'm warning you, " Landon said. " I know kung po."
" She won't hurt you, " Hope said, reassuring him.
The young Mikaelson girl lifted her hand, summoning a herb of lilac butterflies towards him, and knocked him out cold to the ground.
Fayenyra glanced down at the boy in slight pity, summoning a blanket over him, and wondered what would happen next for the human world and supernatural world didn't blend well together.
