A/N:
Just a heads up there will be a number of modded weapons mentioned in this story because let's face it the vanilla fallout 4 guns are kind of trash barring a few exceptions anyway yes there will be shipping no this is not a Harem story. I might try a Lemon at some point but I'm not too sure on how confident I am on writing sex scenes.

Chapter: 1 A Dream of Dogs
Celestine Lacross, High Queen of Eostia was running for her life through a dark forest being pursued by a large black dog, its fangs glistening an eerie white in the dark and eyes glowing a bright fiery red. Fear is all that consumes her, as her lungs burn with every breath she takes, her legs starting to feel heavy from the constant running. But she keeps running because up ahead she sees a light that leads to a clearing where she hopes to find safety. However just before she reaches it she loses her footing and hits the ground hard with a thud.
Celestine tries to get up only to find herself now face to face with the beast staring at her, licking its teeth preparing for the kill.
She can only stare in terror as the beast inches closer and closer to her.
"HELP" She cries praying that someone would hear her. "Somebody Please HELP?"
The Black dog was now standing over her, its jaw open revealing its sharp teeth that appeared looking like an evil smile on its face as it slowly began to lower its head towards her throat. Celestine's eyes began to water as she closed her eyes and awaited her end to come.
"Bark Bark". Celestine's eyes snap open just in time to see another dog jump in and bite down on the Black dogs back causing the beast to yelp in pain from the sudden attack.
Wheeling around the black dog was now facing its attacker. Now free from being under the beast, Celestine crawled to a safe distance before getting a better look at her four legged savior. To her surprise it was a smaller dog compared to the larger black beast that had chased her. It had mostly brown fur except for a large dark brownish black spot on his back and around the snout and ears. She then noticed the two combatants begin to size each other up both waiting for the other to make the first move.
With a burst of speed the brown dog was the first to make its move. The Black dog counter charged the brown dog in return but when it tried to bite its opponent it missed due to the brown dog being faster and so was able to dodge the attack and counter by biting one of the black dogs hind legs and leaving a bloody wound. The Black dog snarled in pain. It then turned and grabbed the brown dog by the neck and threw it at a nearby tree with a loud crack.
"NOOO" Celestine cried out in fear at seeing the poor animal harmed.
The Black Dog, believing that its opponent was defeated, brought its attention back to Celestine and prepared for its final strike. It began to charge at her in a full sprint. Just as it was about to pounce on top of her; there was a loud crack of thunder and the black dog was struck by an unseen force sending it sprawling to the ground.
As the beast tried to get up the Brown dog had recovered and had now pinned the black dog down before delivering a final bite and snapping the black dogs neck and ripping out its throat ending the creature's life.
Celestine let out a long sigh in relief but quickly realized that the Brown dog was now approaching her. Not knowing if her savior was another threat she squeezed her eyes shut once again bracing for the worst only for it not to come. Taking a chance she slowly opened her eyes only to be met with the Brown dog now sitting in front of her, tail wagging, tongue sticking out panting and looking at her with big brown eyes and pointed ears standing straight pointed towards the sky. To her it seemed that the dog was waiting for her to do something.
Taking a deep breath Celestine stuck out her hand and said. "Thank you. You're a good dog for saving me."
The dog then sniffed her outstretched hand before standing back up and getting closer to her face. Celestine was then caught off guard when the dog gave her a big wet doggy kiss. Her eyes were now wide open with surprise of what had happened. The dog had licked her; the creature before her that had just viciously killed the big black dog was in fact nothing more than a well behaved, happy, and goofy dog that came to her aid when she needed it most.
Without thinking she reached out and hugged the dog's head as she started both laughing and crying at what she had been through. Suddenly the dog turned his head in the direction of the light that led to the clearing. He then broke free of Celestine's grip and ran off towards it. Celestine, not wanting to be left alone, got up and followed the dog into the clearing.
Upon entering the clearing she was met with the bright rays of the sun and a field of flowers. In the middle of that field she saw the Brown dog now sitting next to a tall man wearing a dark blue coat and a tricorn hat. The figure soon turned to face her but to her dismay the gentlemen's face was shrouded in shadow. Just as he raised his hand towards her a bright light engulfed both of them.
Celestine's eyes snapped open as she jolted forwards. Breathing heavily and drenched in sweat she quickly took in her surroundings seeing that she was back in her bed chambers. Taking in a breath she then flopped down back on to her pillow as she tried to comprehend what her dream was. 'What could that vision mean?' She thought to herself. Her train of thought was then broken when a knock was heard at her door.
"Your Majesty, have you awoken?" A female voice called from the door.
"Yes… yes I am, I'll be out in a few minutes." Celestine answered.
"Very well your Majesty." Replied the same voice.
Celestine sighed as she climbed out of her bed and started to prepare for the day ahead. Her thoughts still lingered on the dog and its master. 'Who is He?' was the only question that kept running through her head.

Boston Wasteland: May 15 2292
The Castle Minutemen HQ
It had been five years since the Fall of the Institute at the hands of the Minutemen and life was starting to change for better. With the institute gone, General Garret Madison the Sole survivor of Vault 111 still had his hands full, from dealing with raiders, super mutant attacks and Gunners continuing to harass settlements, and the newly formed United Territories of the Commonwealth government constantly breathing down his neck with requests for minutemen support.
"Uhhh." He moaned. "Why is there still so much paperwork?" asking nobody in particular.
Garret knew that being the leader of an army was going to be tough, but he never imagined that it was going to involve this much paperwork. Even during his time in the US army he never had to handle this much, then again he never got any higher than a corporal so it didn't surprise him the difference in workload, then again he was also building an army from scratch so problems were an inherent thing. It wasn't exactly the paperwork alone that he found frustrating; it was usually the same damn thing everyday, ammunition request, casualty reports, status on settlement security, recruitment quotas, new uniform request, and request for more security teams for the construction companies that were rebuilding or repairing the infrastructure of Boston. Of course he did have help but unfortunately his poor secretary was herself over burdened with her own workload.
"Well would you look at this!" said a rough scratchy voice. "The Great General of the Minutemen was reduced to a glorified paper pusher."
Garret looked up to see the ghoulified face of the president of the Commonwealth John Hancock.
"Mr. President, to what do I owe this pleasure?" Garret asked as he stood to salute his commander and chief and friend.
Hancock chuckled at his friend's military stiffness. "Well for starters you can cut the Mr. President crap. I didn't come here just to hear one of my closest friends call me Mr. President for the millionth time today." Hancock then took a seat opposite of the general.
Garret relaxed and retook his seat as he cleared his desk before placing two glasses on the desk and a bottle of scotch. He then poured himself and Hancock a glass.
"So" takes a sip. "You clearly came here for something other than a drink and to reminisce about the past?"
"Can't pull one over on you can I." Hancock said with a chuckle.
Taking a swing of his drink Hancock started. "The main reason why I'm here
has to do with the Congress and railroad reconstruction Bill. There's a vote on the floor to begin funding the restoration of the Boston rail lines all around the commonwealth." He said, before taking another sip.
Garret leaned back in his chair in thought at the president's words. True a rebuilt rail line would make moving troops and supplies a lot easier as well as bolster the local economy. But at the same time it would also take resources away from other project specifically military ones such as project big gun which was the production of a new artillery cannons to be equipped by both the 9th and 11th field artillery companies, it also meant he would half to assign more and more units and even the precious few Vertibirds to both guard and fairy the construction crews to and from the construction sites.
"(Sigh) I don't suppose I could convince you to try and get congress to hold off on this project for a while longer could you?" Garret asked as he finished his drink.
"I can try but most of the Congress have their hearts set on it and they're not going to back down so easily on this." Hancock remarked.
"Damn it. Don't they understand that we're still dealing with multiple threats out there in the wastes." Garret growled. "We might have secured Boston but we're still dealing with other problems. I've had to have Colonel Garvey patrol the borders of the Glowing Sea ever since we pushed the super mutants out."
"Yeah I remember that, boy was Strong pissed about that." Hancock replied. "You think he's doing alright? I mean don't get me wrong I know that not many of us liked the big guy, but at the end of the day he was still one of us."
Garret remembered that day. Though he himself found Strong to be annoying at times, he didn't like the fact that he had to betray him for the sake of the commonwealth. But still Hancock was right, Strong was one of them. He still remembered how he'd stormed off after being told that the super mutant clans had to be removed from the Boston area.
(Flashback)
Three years earlier
Location: Red Rocket Gas Station
"Look Strong I'm sorry but it's what has to be done!" Garret said in a sterntone to the super mutant who stood in front of him.
"GRAH HUMAN BREAK STRONG'S TRUST. Human just like all the others." Strong roared back.
It had been going on like this for the last twenty minutes. The Sole Survivor and his companion Strong had been arguing over the fate of the super mutant clans in and around the boston area. For the last month most of the super mutant groups had either been whipped out or had fled to the glowing sea to avoid the same fate, all that remained were the mutants in Trinity Tower.
"Strong I'm sorry but it is what it is, your brothers are just too dangerous and violent to be around humans and ghouls. And you damn well know it." He said to the green giant trying to make him see reason.
Strong glared at the solo survivor. He had always followed him since the day he rescued him and Rex from the top of the tower all those years ago, he trusted and respected the human. But now that trust was being tested to its limits. Strong knew Garret wasn't wrong, he and his kind had always attacked humans whenever they had the chance.
"Human already taken other clans home's. Why no leave Strong's clans alone?" He asked.
Garret was silent for a second. He knew why the super mutants had to go, especially if the city proper was going to be the new capital and its factories were needed to help get the young country on its feet. Plus all the buildings would make great living space for the new citizens coming to live and work in the Commonwealth.
"Sigh… Strong I can't give you an answer that you would like or understand. So I'm going to give you two options, either A: you take your brothers and leave the tower and go find somewhere else to live, or B: I order my artillery to flatten the tower which would kill all your brothers in the tower. Do you understand what I'm telling you?" Garret finished with a heavily firm tone.
Strong face went from anger to one of shock and remorse. He knew it would be pointless to keep trying to argue. He clearly saw that the human wasn't going to relent.
"Fine Strong will take brothers and go find a new home." Strong said as he turned to leave.
(Flashback Ends)
"Hello… Earth, calling General Madison your President wants to know your thoughts?" Hancock asked as he waved his hand in front of Garret's face.
Garret suddenly snapped back to reality and realized that he had gotten lost in thought about what happened to his old friend. "Yeah sorry just thinking back to that day is all." He said before downing the rest of his drink before standing up.
"Hey I'm gonna head out and go see how Shauns is doing with the other scientist at the Vault 88 Research Center and see how that new secret project of theirs is going." He said as he made his way to the door.
"You gonna take a Vertibird down there?" Hancock asked as he got up from his seat.
"Nah, I think I'll just walk down there with Dogmeat. We've been stuck here for the last couple of days and we could both use some exercise." Garret said as he opened the door. He then gave a loud whistle and then in a short second later Dogmeat came running from around the corner before stopping in front of him. Garret then reached down and gave the dog a pat on the head.
"Well you be careful out there. God knows Preston, Danse, and Ronnie would raise all kinds of hell if you wound up dead and I could have prevented it." Hancock said with a chuckle.
"Hey, it's me. It's gonna take a hell of a lot to kill me." he laughed as he placed Savoldi's hat on his head and left the office.
Garret always did prefer to wear the old stetson militia hat given to him by Joe Savoldi over the tricorn that had come with the uniform. As he stepped out into the courtyard he took in the sight of how the Minutemen had grown from a broken and shattered militia group to a now newly formed and battle tested army. He looked around and saw new recruits training to become soldiers, dressed in their new dark blue army fatigues and combat armor and armed with new M16 and R91 assault rifles along with a few laser rifles. Things sure had changed from the volunteers who would show up carrying pipe weapons, old family rifles, or those terrible combat and assault rifles that the pre-war army dumped into New England during the war with china.
As he made his way to the exit of the fort he noticed the guard at the front gate was wearing a suit of minutemen painted T-60 power armor and was armed with a mini-gun. Seeing him approaching the guard raised his weapon in a salute to his general, to which Garret returned with a salute of his own.
Once outside the gate, he held up his pip-boy and selected his custom modified M16 service rifle called Freedom Maker which then materialized in his hand as he and Dogmeat began there walk to vault 88

Okay this is my first attempt at writing a Crossover fan-fic so bare with me on this.
Anyway I hope you all enjoyed it. I look forward to expanding this story in the future or I'll crash and burn and abandon the story. Who knows anyway, have a nice day.
