Blackwolfen: Here is the next chapter and for now the last one for this year. Don't worry we will continue next year ;) Adding the Villains was planned and the sequel will happen soon after this story. Speaking of Nightmares I kinda feel bad for Alicia. Sure her Friends are there to help her but she still is not sure if they win or not. Well there is only one way to find out. To see what the next Chapter brings.

Gemwing2012: It took quite a while to figure out some scenes and how to best describe Granny's house. If we'd ever do a spin-off to the fic, it would be interesting to explore the darker depths of Toon Town and what the villains do out on the streets whether it involves causing trouble or just going about like normal people

LexieLuthor98: Yeesh, I can't blame Alicia for running off like that after her nightmare, it's pretty scary thinking your friends turned on you. But thank goodness for Death and the other two wolf characters for standing up for her before we got there. Also...what's with all the villains roaming the streets? One would think they'd have better things to do. Anywho, we got the big game coming up...let's hope we're ready for it.

Nataliepthatsme: looks like practice is going really well! We should be ready for the big game in no time! I do appreciate granny talking about some of the toon's back story. It helps with understanding her love for them. Nightmares are really horrible especially when you think everyone is against you. I hope Alicia knows we are a team and are on her side no matter what

Signing Alicia was the only one on the basketball court in the gym. Her friends might have encouraged her to continue but she still felt sadness inside her.

A small tear runs down her cheek she wiped away every time she tries to think clearly. But once her eyes fell on her friends with their loved ones, Alicia felt lonely again.

Oh, how much she wanted to have her husband with her. He would help her if he was here. But he wasn't like the rest of the characters from the book.

"Oh Lu… I need you…"

Just as she wanted to give up being a coach she felt something behind her that felt familiar. Confused, she turned around but there was no one.

No Toon, her brother or her friends. All of them were on the side court talking with one another.

She wanted to sigh again but then she felt this feeling again from before.

It's like her husband was behind her. She didn't see him. But she felt him nearby.

"My love, I know you feel sad but don't give up!" These words were enough for her to not only wipe away her tears but also to awaken the beast inside of her.

Like the Eye of the Tiger she was ready to fight those Monstars with everything she had.

But unknown to her, one of the Dreamstones members saw something behind Alicia.

It was hard to describe but it looked like a transparent Silhouette of Alicia's husband.

It couldn't be the Devil from The Cuphead Show. He didn't have a red nose and the pie-cut pupils in his yellow eyes are black instead of red. The horns aren't that long and Alicia looked happy.

"Is that… Ali's husband?" Katie wondered in disbelief as she rubbed her eyes to make sure they weren't playing tricks on her.

But it wasn't as the transparent silhouette strokes Alicia before it disappears.

Katie shook her head in confusion and disbelief as she turned away, bewildered as she muttered, "That was weird. Really need to get more sleep afterward…"

"You okay?" Vale (who was back in his normal form) asked in concern.

"Y-yeah, f-fine." Katie stammered in reply with a shaky smile. "Guess all this training's just exhausting work. Nothing like a nice warm shower, a hot meal and a good night's sleep afterwards can't cure. By tomorrow, I'll be right as rain."

Suddenly some Toons and a few Anime characters stood in front of Alicia asking her to be on the Team.

One of them was Popeye and Roronoa Zoro from the Anime One Piece.

Goku from Dragon Ball Z stepped forward as well although he was disappointed that he would be unable to fight Monstars.

"Sorry, G-Man, but this is a basketball game not a martial arts tournament." Katie explained. "We can't risk getting disqualified if we resort to fists or anything else that doesn't have anything to do with basketball."

"I see…well maybe my expertise will help out!" Goku winked.

Katie giggled as Kaichi rolled his eyes, muttering under his breath, "Saiyans…"

Mario and Luigi from Super Mario Brothers Super Show stepped forward as well.

"We've dealt with King Koopa multiple times," Mario stated. "I'm sure Luigi and I can help knock those Monstars back to where they came from."

"Sounds good." said Alicia and hands them over some of the spare uniforms Princess Peach got them.

Sonic from Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog came speeding over, showing off.

"World's fastest hedgehog at your service!" Sonic beamed.

Lola and Ms. Chalice stepped forward.

"And if all else fails, you can be sure we'll turn on the charm!" Chalice winked.

"Alright, everyone head in the locker rooms and change clothes before we start the training." Alicia ordered while Fawkes landed on her shoulder.

She pets him on the head before he flies off her shoulder and lands on a basketball hoop.

"You got it, Ali!" Sonic exclaimed, giving a thumbs-up.

Alicia smiled and hoped the training would go smoothly without any trouble.

The Toons and Anime Characters that wanted to be on the team walked out of the locker room wearing the uniform Alicia has given them.

Surprisingly they fit all of them no matter the size differences.

"Way past cool!" Sonic smirked as he looked himself over.

"Eh, not too shabby, Mario?" Luigi beamed as Mario smiled.

"You said no swords right?" asked Zoro.

Alicia nods.

"You just need to take the ball away from a member of the rival team, pass it to a teammate and throw it through the hoop of the rival team's net." Natty explained.

"Yep, and we will train now." Alicia added.

She then turns to Katie and Lexie.

"Wanna play as the rival team?" asked Alicia until she noticed the big shadow behind her.

It was not the Devil. It was one of the members of the Monstars. The green one named Bang.

"Oh, not that guy!" Kaichi moaned. The Sprigon was still sore with the jerk flicking him and Tweety while insulting his friends hours ago.

"How did they get in here?" asked Alicai herself trying to ignore the green giant smiling at her with a seductive smile.

"Hey! Back off!" Katie snapped as she got in front of Alicia, holding her arm out. "She's already married! Just leave and go crawling back under whatever rock you came from!"

"Oh shut up!" said Bang shoving Katie away before he focused himself on Alicia but she stood no longer in front of him but next to Zoro and Popeye.

"Ey, ya heard the lady! Back off!" Popeye said, rolling up his sleeve.

"You heard the sailor!" added Zoro grabbing his swords.

"Kate! Are you okay?" Lexie asked in concern as she and Natty hurried over.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Katie answered as Vale and Goku helped her up.

Suddenly the other Members of the Monstars entered the Gym.

"You've got to be kidding me!" Natty groaned, facepalming.

"I'm guessing that these guys are those aliens we have to go up against." Andy spoke up.

"Yep." Kaichi answered, deadpanned while Mugman nervously nodded.

"Tell me about it." Alicia said, annoyed while rolling her eyes. She then glared over at the Monstars, demanding, "What do you want now?"

"In case you haven't noticed, we're in the middle of training here!" Lexie added while Aya hissed and Ash growled at the Monstars in warning.

Fawkes flew down and landed on Alicia's shoulder, screeching at the Monstars.

"Don't you creeps have anything better to do like training yourselves?" Natty asked.

"If so, kindly take your leave and let us be!" Katie demanded. "We don't have time to put up with any nonsense with bullies like you!"

"Oh but we're here for training," said Pound grinning smugly.

"For what? To be even more ugly and stupid?" Kaichi snarked.

Lexie, Natty and the Cups laughed at this.

"Good one, Kai!" Lexie giggled.

"Hmm no, we want to see how good you are." Bang added.

Before any of the Dreamstones could tell the Monstars off, Alicia had an idea.

"Wait, maybe we can use that." She said,

"What do you mean, Al?" Lexie asked in concern.

"Well, let's show them how good we are." grinned Alicia.

"Are you sure about this?" Vale asked.

"Don't worry, this is just to see what we're up against and we can better form a strategy for the game." Katie reassured him. "We should trust Alicia on this."

"And never mess with a demon queen." Alicia said.

"Alright, let's do this!" Natty declared.

Alicia turns around to the Monstars waiting for an answer.

She smiled and said, "We accept your challenge."

"And don't think it'll be an easy win just because we're girls!" Lexie claimed, crossing her arms.

"Well, we accept it." grinned Pound.

"Bring it on." Katie simply said with a glare.

The Monstars grinned and walked to the other side of the court while Alicia and the others prepared their team. She breathed in and concentrated before she told the Toons on which position they should be before they could walk on the court.

Off on the side lines, Granny is sitting on a bench, knitting red and blue pom-poms and handing some out to Molly, Webby, Gosalyn and some of the female Toons, who will be acting out as the Toon Squad's cheerleaders. Granny had just finished some pom-poms for herself and gave them a couple of practice waves.

"You ready?" Natty asked, determined.

"Sure, let's kick some butts!" Alicia said.

Lexie smirked while Katie cracked her knuckles.

Goofy walked up to Alicia and Blanko.

Both stood in the middle of the court looking to the anthropomorphic dog as he looks to both of them and asks if they are ready.

Alicia nods while Blanko looks confused for a second before he nods as well.

"What an idiot." thought Alicia while she focused on Goofy.

Typical of him, he wanted to toss the basketball in the air but he suddenly slipped on his shoelaces and almost fell down to the floor.

But with some lanky movements of his legs he tosses the ball in the air before her lands in the audience.

In Seconds Alicia transforms into her wolf form and uses her feet to jump in the air to grab the basketball.

Blanko didn't have any problems with reaching the ball since he was the biggest of the group.

But to his surprise Alicia was faster and uses her Ultrahand ability to grab the ball and tosses it over to Lexie.

Bang and Pound dashed towards her but she quickly tossed the ball to Katie.

Bupkis charged at Katie, who had turned into her dragon form and shot up into the air and tossed the ball over to Natty.

"Here! I'm free! Hand it over to me, Nat!" Cuphead said.

"Go long!" Natty called back, tossing the ball to him.

He grabs it and uses the opportunity to toss the ball into the hoop before Nawt can stop him scoring a point for the Toon Squad.

"YES!" Katie cheered as she did a backflip in the air while Bupkis groaned.

The ball landed on the floor before Goofy grabbed him and handed it over to Blanko.

"Alright, focus guys!" Alicia said.

Before they could continue playing, Pound smacked the ball out of a surprised Blanko's hands as he grunted, "You chumps just got lucky since that was just a practice run! When the real deal starts, you won't be so lucky."

Alicia rolls her eyes.

"Sure whatever, Fatso!" she said walking back to her position.

"Yeah! So why don't Goon Stars just make like a tree and leave!" Lexie added as she, Katie and Natty got up beside Alicia.

"Let's make it fair and we play for three more rounds!" stated Alicia while Pound thought about it.

"Nah, we're good." Pound sneered. "We've got better things to do."

"Yeah, smell ya later." Bang jeered as he and the others began to take their leave.

Blanko took a moment to smile pleasantly and give out a happy wave at the humans and Toons, calling out, "Later, dudes!"

Alicia rolled her eyes yet again when she heard that.

Without another word, the Monstars exited the gym and left.

"The blue guy's surprisingly a nice guy." Katie commented. "He would have been okay to hang around with if he wasn't friends with such jerks and isn't on the rival team."

"But he is still a bad guy." Alicia explained.

"Sadly so true." Natty sighed.

Alicia looked outside and noticed it was dark. The sun was gone and the moon shines through the windows of the gym.

She yawned like a puppy. And she wasn't the only one as Ash and Duke followed suit.

"Sounds like somebody's tired." Lexie commented.

"Well, no wonder it's almost bedtime." John said.

"Yeah, I think we might need to turn in for the night." Liam agreed as he picked up a very sleepy looking Matt while Katie and Lexie each picked up Ash and Aya.

Fawkes landed on Alicia's shoulder and nodded off a bit.

"Looks like we'll need to find somewhere to stay for the night before we continue training for the big game." Katie stated.

"Yeah but where?" asked Alicia petting her phoenix.

"Good question…" Natty spoke.

"Perhaps you all like to stay over at my house for the night." Granny suggested.

Alicia and the others turned to the old Cartoon Character sitting on the bench.

"Really? You have enough space for all of us?" Alicia asked her and pointed to herself, her brother, the Dreamstones and their partners and buddys.

"Do not worry, lass. I can allow the lads to stay over at the mansion." Scrooge offered. "I'll have Duckworth and Mrs. Bleakly prepare the guest rooms ready for their stay for the night."

"Well, I don't know." Alicia said, a little bit worried.

"Hey, it'll be fine, sis." John spoke up. "We won't be too far off and it's just for one night. And that way, Granny has plenty of room for you and the other girls."

But Alice still looked worried as she said, "You know why John."

Lately she has had more nightmares than usual. Or vision. Or whatever.

"Hey, it's okay." Natty said in reassurance. "If you get any nightmares, we'll be right here with you."

"Guys I really appreciate it but I only feel more worried than before and I don't want you guys to have a bad nightsleep because of me having another nightmare."

"Or vision" Mugman added in.

"You mean like the one we had with you back in the hotel?" Lexie asked.

Alicia shakes her head, her wolf ears lowering. "No, something way worse."

"Speaking from experience, the girls and I had suffered something similar to some nightmares we had during our first adventure when we got pulled into our version of the Cuphead book." Katie said. "We were terrified that they could have been potentially visions but we managed to defy and overcome them when we came prepared thanks to the help of some friends."

"But you don't know what my nightmares are capable of." Alicia added.

She remembers what Cuppy had told her back in the book.

"Quadratus said your nightmares can also be vision."

That's what the young Cup said to her before she got married to her husband.

"Alicia, we may not know what these nightmares or visions are truly capable of but you are the TRUE master of your destiny." Katie stated. "Only you can decide on how things will go and you have the power to change events and see to it your path will lead down to a happier end."

Alicia sighs "I really wish I could believe you, Katie but most of my visions turned true. No matter what I did."

The Dreamstones looked at one another, at a loss about how to comfort Alicia and encourage her otherwise.

John noticed the silence and tried to cheer the group up.

"Well, we don't know if you get any nightmares today sis and even if, don't worry you can call me everytime if you need me." He said, putting his hand on her shoulder.

She looked up and saw his smile.

Alicia smiled too. And the Dreamstones smiled as well.

"So, shall we get going?" Liam asked while having a tired Matt in his arms. "This little guy here really needs to hit the sack asap."

"Sure we can go." John said.

The Dreamstones each hugged and kissed their lovers, wishing the good night.

"We'll have to see if we can get some breakfast in town first thing in the morning before we head back to the gym." Andy suggested.

"Sounds good." Alicia said.

"So all of you in the morning." Katie sighed, kissing Vale on the snout.

"Take care." Vale spoke.

John and the others followed Scrooge Mcduck and his family while Alicia and the Dreamstones followed Granny.

Soon the gym was empty and the lights turned off. Only the moon shined through the windows on the empty court with one basketball rolling around it.

The girls and pets followed Granny and Tweety through the town, the street lamps illuminating the streets. The place was silent, safe for the occasional yowling of stray alley cats and the metallic clanging of trash cans as they rummage about in the garbage for food.

Fawkes flew ahead and landed on one of the street lamps.

"Fawkes, come down there." Alicia said and stretched her arm out.

The phoenix obliged and swooped down, perching on her shoulder, cooing.

"Aww, sounds like someone wants to cuddle." Alicia strokes his feathered head.

The Dreamstones giggled by the sweet sight while Aya was perched on Lexie's shoulder, purring and Daisy was snuggled in Natty's jacket pocket.

The phoenix saw the other companions and cooed at them before he rubs his head against Alicia.

"He really likes you." Kaichi commented.

"Well I'm partly his mother." Alicia added while Fawkes gently played with her finger.

He didn't bite her. He wouldn't dare to do that.

"Awww, that's so cute." Natty beamed.

"Aya and Ash sort of think of Liam and me as their parents in a way." Lexie chimed in as she petted a purring Aya.

Fawkes hears that and caws. Not because of the companions but because of something else.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" Katie asked.

"I thought I heard something." Alicia said with a shrug.

Shrugging the group followed Granny, Tweety Bird and Sylvester the Cat down the street.

Walking down further the group finally arrived at Granny's house. Much to Alicia's amazement, the house was out in the outskirts of town in a lovely little woodland area.

The house looked a lot like the one from the spin-off cartoon, Baby Looney Tunes in which most of the Looney Tunes are babies and Granny is their caretaker, complete with a charming garden, a white picket fence and a cute fountain in the driveway.

"Wow!" said Alicia with an open mouth.

Fawkes opens his mouth as well.

"It's lovely." Katie commented in awe.

"Oh thank you, dear." Granny blushed while thanking her.

The group followed Granny inside her house. To say the least, the group were most especially awed by the interior of the house.

And this is the home of a sweet old lady who lives with her pet canary?

"Whoa?! And this is a house?" Kaichi exclaimed as he, the girls and pets looked around. "This place is practically a mansion!"

Aya mewed and Daisy squeaked in agreement.

"You have a very beautiful home, Granny." Lexie smiled.

She then looked and saw an old photo of what looked like Granny with all of the main Looney Tune cast…as babies.

From left to right, Bugs, Lola, Sylvester, Tweety above him, Tasmanian Devil, and last but not least, Daffy.

"Awww how cute!" Lexie cooed. "So you really did raise all the Looney Tunes together?"

Granny chuckled and replied, "Indeed. And let me tell you, raising six children wasn't easy."

"I'll bet." Lexie nodded. "May I ask…?"

Granny seemed to know what Lexie was trying to ask as she sighed.

"Quite a few of them were orphaned. Bugs, Lola, and Daffy were orphaned as a result of overhunting, Sylvester was dropped off in a basket as a kitten, Tweety was kicked off his nest, and Taz I found wandering the streets."

"Oh how terrible!" Katie gasped.

"I know! Who leaves their kid out in the street?!" Kaichi exclaimed.

Lexie shook her head as she replied, "Guys, remember even though they can talk, they're all animals. Some things are just part of nature."

Examining the picture of Taz, she continued, "In fact, it makes sense Taz was abandoned; when a Tasmanian Devil is weaned, meaning they no longer need their mom's milk, their mom literally leaves them so the baby can fend for itself. It's just part of their nature."

"And people go rabbit and duck hunting all the time." Natty chimed in.

"That sounds sad but it's part of nature." Alicia said while petting her pet. She remembers her grandfather was a hunter and told her everything about hunting and how important it was to make sure every animal needs to be respected.

"Even so, there are some horrible people who just hunt for sport and treat animals like trophies." Katie spoke up. "Poachers either catch animals for their pelt or sell them to the highest bidder, not even caring about practically driving certain species to near extinction. And if there are any who are like McLeach from Rescuers Down Under, poachers would also be willing to kill off even the young or unhatched eggs to see to it that any endangered birds or animals stay rare."

"Oh, I know what you mean." Alicia said, rolling her eyes.

"I know, the poor things." Granny sighed. "Anyway, shall I see you all to your room?"

Alicia nodded as did the others and followed the old lady into a large room with four beds, four night tables, two large closets, a table with four chairs, a couch and an armchair and a balcony with a metal fence.

"Here we are." Granny smiled. "I do hope it's to your liking. The balcony has such a nice view of the forest. And I always keep everything nice and tidy should I ever have guests over."

"It looks great. Thank you." Natty beamed.

"It's perfect." Alicia added.

She looks at Granny, shakes her hand and says her thanks before hugging her.

"You're very welcome, dear." Granny replied. "If there's anything else any of you need, don't be shy to ask."

Time went by and the girls changed their clothes. Granny gave them some pajamas. Like with sports uniforms. The clothes fit them perfectly.

"Hmm, at least it's not pink." Alicia said as she looked in the mirror next to her bed.

She was sleeping next to the balcony.

"And the beds sure look comfy." Katie commented as she sat down at the bed further away from Alicia's.

"Well, they are." Alicia added, sitting on her bed watching outside the window leading to the balcony.

The moon was up and shining on the house. It was a beautiful night. She had to admit it but still she felt so lonely and hoped this feeling would be gone soon once they win the basketball game.

"Let's all get some plenty of sleep tonight since we all need to keep our strength up." Lexie stated as she climbed into her bed.

Aya had jumped onto the bed and started to knead at the sheets, purring before curling up to sleep.

"Goodnight." Natty yawned while Daisy rested in the little hamster cage Granny had conveniently placed down for her.

"See you all in the morning." Katie replied, snuggling down while Kaichi curled up on her pillow.

Alicia watches everyone falling asleep. She herself on the other hand couldn't sleep at all.

You could see her worried face as she looked from the others peacefully sleeping in their bed outside the balcony. Her head was filled with a lot of questions she couldn't answer on her own.

"Will we win?"

"What happens if we lose?"

"Will Cuppy and the others be captured too when we lose?"

Alicia couldn't imagine living without her husband, her friends and her godparents.

They were her family too.

"Don't worry we will win this and soon everything will be normal." Alicia thought to herself as she lay down in her bed, trying to get a good night's sleep.

Hours went by but it was still night outside.

Everyone sleeps inside Granny's house.

Granny lays in her own bed with Tweety's bird cage next to it.

The small bird wears a small nightcap.

In the other room were the girls.

All of them were fast asleep with their companion next to them.

Aya snuggles in Lexie's arm. Daisy nestled peacefully in the hamster cage next to the bedside dresser next to Natty's bed. And Kaichi sleeps next to Katie's cheek

Almost everyone was asleep.

Except for Alicia and Fawkes.

Both were still awake and couldn't really sleep.

Well Alicia tried to sleep but everytime she tries to sleep she gets a nightmare haunting her dream.

"Guys, please let me explain!" Alicia tried to say while Katie, Lexie and Natty gave her a hurtful gaze.

The reason was they lost the basketball game.

"How could you let us lose?!" Lexie snapped.

"Some team captain you are!" Natty accused. "We were counting on you to lead this team to victory! And now look what happened!"

"You have failed us." Katie said coldly.

"Guys please let me explain. I…" Alicia gets interrupted before she could finish her sentence.

"SILENCE!" Katie roared as she suddenly transformed into a larger and more demonic version of her dragon form.

Much to Alicia's shock and horror, it looked similar to Cynder's corrupted adult form when she was controlled by Malefor in 'The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning'. If she had Maleficent's coloring and her icy blue eyes were now a burning blood red.

Alicia shook in fear, not knowing she transformed into her demon form.

"You had failed us when we needed you the most!" Katie snarled. "Cuphead, Mugman, Bugs, Mickey, Darkwing! Every single toon of all ages are now slaves to those arrogant aliens! And we're going to be married to the Devil and his minions! All because of YOU!"

Scared, Alicia couldn't hold it anymore and turned into her wolf form, trying to run away from this nightmare illusion.

But before she could do that two figures appeared in front of her.

It was a Phoenix with black feathers with flames at the tip and a winged wolf. The Phoenix morphed into Lexie, but she was completely different than normal. She had pale skin, elf-like ears, and flaming red hair.

"Thanks to you, I lost Liam!" She raged, burning tears down her face. "He was my only love and now he's gone! It's all your FAULT!"

She then took out a sword and pointed it at Alicia, pure, sadistic hatred in her burning orange eyes.

"Lexie, please let me explain I'm-"

"There's NOTHING to explain!" She snarled. "We should've known better than to trust a DEMON! I should've known better! And now you'll pay…"

Alicia's pupils dilated in fear as she turned around to run away from Lexie and Katie, who had transformed into a demonic form similar to Alicia's.

The demonic Katie had black fur all over her body, save for the mildly light gray-skinned hands and feet with claws and she had a long tail with a spade-shaped tip. Her hair is now pitch black, long horns, white as bone, sported atop of her head and her ears are pointed. Her blue eyes had turned a burning blood red as they regarded Alicia with pure contempt.

Her basketball uniform had turned into a sleek, elegant obsidian black shoulderless gown that reached down to the floor with a blood red collar, a blue gem brooch in its center, a red ribbon-like sash with a matching gemstone buckle and long, flowing bell-shaped sleeves. Atop of her head is a gold crown with a diamond-shaped purple gemstone.

Alicia kept trying to get away from the demonic illusions of Lexie and Katie but Natty stood before her.

"And where do you think you're going, traitor?" She asked, her tone hard and cold.

Alicia gulps. "Natty…"

Natty was garbed in a beautiful red sleeveless ball gown with black lace highlights, a petal folded collar, black lacy gloves, a spades brooch, and red earrings. Her hair tied in a high ponytail, a gold crown with a rosegold gem was placed on her head and her eyes were no longer brown but red.

"I can't believe I trusted you." She growled. "It's because of you I lost my true love, Andy! He was the only person who truly understood me!"

Alicia wanted to say something but she knew it was no use. She dropped to the floor and curled up like a puppy.

Tears ran down her cheeks while she cried,, "It's not real! It's not real! It's only a dream! It's only a nightmare!"

She says over and over again until she wakes up.

Sweating Alicia sat up from her bed and looked around.

It was still night time and the girls slept in their own bed.

"Thank god that was only a nightmare." Alicia thought to herself.

But even if it was a nightmare she couldn't just go to sleep now.

No, she wasn't ready for another one.

So, she did the one thing she always did when she had a bad dream.

Going for a walk.

So she slowly stands up from her bed, grabbed her jacket and shoes before she heads out of the room with Fawkes, down the stairs and out of the front door to explore this part of Toon Town.

She needed to clear her head and calm herself down from that nightmare. She knew her friends wouldn't think of her like that, but the fear still lingered.

Fawkes cooed as he perched on her shoulder.

"Come Fawkes let's take a walk shall we?" Alicia asked him.

As Alicia had left the house, Natty stirs before she sleepily lifts her head up to notice that the bed that Alicia was sleeping in is now empty. Fully alert, Natty sat up in bed in shock.

She looked at Katie and Lexie. Both are still asleep before a sudden shake on their shoulders wake them up.

"Guys! Wake up!" Natty cried. "It's Alicia! She's gone!"

"W-wait, what?!" Katie gasped as she shot up in bed, accidentally startling Kaichi awake.

"Maybe she just got up to go to the bathroom?" Lexie suggested, rubbing her eye.

"No, her shoes and jacket are gone, too." Natty said in concern. "I think she must have left the house."

"In the middle of the night?!" Lexie exclaimed. "With the possibility that you-know-who is out there, planning to make a move to nab her?!"

Katie quickly grabs her boots and jacket as she claims," C'mon! We've got to go find her!"

Lexie and Natty nodded and quickly grabbed their own boots and jackets before all three girls made a move to exit the house.

Meanwhile Alicia walked down the street with Fawkes on her shoulder.

She still tries to ignore the nightmare but her head was showing her the demonic versions of her friends.

Fawkes knew something was wrong with his master and coos in concern nudging her with his beak.

"It's okay Fawkes." Alicia said but the phoenix knew she wasn't okay.

The two walked past a small park not knowing that a certain someone was sitting on a park bench thinking about something.

"Ugh! How am I going to get my hands on one of my brides when they're with their idiot friends all the time?!" The Devil groaned. "It's not as if they would be that foolish enough to wander off out in the open at this time of night."

He sighed and heard a familiar voice; "Fawkes, come back here!"

"Huh? What's that?" The Devil muttered, perking up.

He knew that voice very well and looked behind a tree.

The eyes widened in enjoyment as he saw Alicia walking down the street passing by the small park, several small stores and a few bus stops to look around town.

"Well, if it isn't my beautiful Alicia! And she's all by herself. Perfect!" The Devil smirked. "And she looks so lonely. Perhaps this would be my opportunity to give her a little moonlight company. If only getting my lovely Katie alone at this hour could be this easy."

Unknown to Alicia the Devil teleported away and appeared not far away from her. Smirking deviously, he creeps over towards her from behind.

Alicia heard something and stopped before she slowly turned around. Her eyes rolled in annoyance as she saw the Devil behind her.

"Hello, darling." The Devil greeted, waving his fingers at her.

Fawkes landed on her shoulder rolling his eyes as well before he screeched at the Devil and his feathers burned like phoenix do.

"Not you again." Alicia said, annoyed.

"Yes, me again. It's so good to see you again on this fine evening." The Devil replied seductively. "I must say that you look just as beautiful in the moonlight."

Fawkes cawed at him again like he was saying "Stay away from my mom!"

Alicia on the other hand decided to just walk further hoping he would ignore her or at least not follow her. Unfortunately, the Devil just teleported in front of her, blocking her path.

"And where do you think you're going?" The Devil asked. "I just wanted to talk to you and maybe take you out on a moonlight stroll at the park."

Alicia just scoffs and walks past him again while Fawkes glared at him with his yellow eyes. But the Devil didn't take a hint and grabbed her arm with his tail.

"What the-?! Hey!" Alicia exclaimed.

"Ah, ah, ah. You're not going anywhere but with me." The Devil sneered, pulling her back.

Fawkes almost fell off Alicia's shoulder as he did that but thanks to his wings, he floats in the air.

"Will you stop doing that and leave me and Fawkes alone?! I'm not in the mood right now!" Alicia growled trying to free herself. But the Devil was stronger.

"Oh, I can't do that. You're too lovely to leave alone." He answered.

Alicia rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Fawkes screeches more.

"Oh, beat it, you fiery buzzard!" The Devil snapped. "Can't you see I would like to have some time alone with my bride?!"

"You idiot, he's my pet and companion!" Alicia said angrily.

The Devil rolled his own eyes. "Whatever."

He continues to snuggle with her. But unknown to him three canine characters walked up to them. Two walked on two legs while one on all four.

"What's going on here?" Legoshi from the anime Beastars spoke up.

"Looks like we have someone here who doesn't respect a woman's privacy" Balto from his movie of the same name stated.

"Think we should do something about it?" Legoshi asked.

Death from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish thought for a bit and nodded like Balto did.

All three walked up to the Devil as Legoshi and Death tapped both Devil's shoulders.

"Wha-?! Oh! What now?!" The Devil demanded, turning his head to glare at those who were interrupting him. "What do you want?!"

Legoshi and Death gave him an angry glare while Balto spoke up, "Yes, can you leave that woman alone she clearly doesn't like or love you at all!"

"And what are you going to do about it if I don't?" The Devil sneered. "I'm the Devil and I can do things however and take whatever I want! And there's nothing you mongrels can do about it!"

Balto growls in anger while Legoshi builds up his anger, fluffing his fur up. But Death had an idea and stood in front of the other two holding his sickles in both his hands. The Devil simply raised an eyebrow in question at this.

"Well…" Death started giving the Devil a sinister look. "I'm kinda like you Diablo if it comes to taking whoever I want and all."

He points one of his sickles at the Devil, warning, "But unlike you I respect every mortal and only take lives that end soon!"

He growled just like Balto and Legoshi.

"But you!" Death said with a threatening voice. "And your so-called minions don't respect any mortals!"

"So what?!" The Devil snarled. " I'm. The. DEVIL! Mortals are supposed to fear me! It's in my nature to make people miserable and suffer torment!"

Alicia flinched as he roared almost in her ear.

"And I'm Death! What's the difference?" Death asked, giving Balto a sign to move behind the Devil.

"Difference?! I don't care about differences! And don't you even dare compare yourself to me!" The Devil shouted. "All you do is stand around being creepy, whistle an eerie tune and pester that Spanish-speaking cat in that musty musketeer get-up in that movie you're in!"

"Well, aren't you two known to take every mortals' souls with you?" asked Legoshi.

The Devil struggles to counter before he answers, "He doesn't make any deals with them! How does one get a mortal's soul without making any deals?!"

"But Death collects the souls fairly when they pass on to the afterlife." Legoshi reasoned.

While the Devil argues with the two wolves, he doesn't notice Balto walking up behind him to free Alicia by using the same trick he and Jenna did to run away from Steele.

But they needed some fire first. Luckily Fawkes helped with that and burned up in flames. The flames then reached and burned the Devil in the butt.

Since he is the King of the Underworld, the Devil is immortal and cannot be reduced to a pile of ashes so easily but the flames of a phoenix was still strong enough to inflict pain upon him.

"YEOWCH!" The Devil yowled in pain as he lost his grip on Alicia, who quickly elbowed him in the gut for extra measure. "Oof!"

Alicia falls to the ground before Death offers her his hand to help her stand up.

"Thanks." She thanked him.

"No worries, Señora." Death answered.

Alicia was glad to be free from the Devil's grip. But he was still near her and was boiling with anger as he saw Alicia talking to the three wolves, thanking them for rescuing her.

He wanted to be the one Alicia was talking, hugging and thanking. Not three canines.

His patience had run out.

"GIVE ME BACK MY BRIDE OR I'LL BURN YOU ALL!" He roared in his terrifyingly demonic voice as he literally burst into flames of rage, getting out his trident fire at the wolves. Even his pupils had turned into bursts of flames.

"Oh damn!" Alicia said as she hid behind Death.

"Uh…. Should we-?" Legoshi asked but the Devil interrupted him before he could finish his sentence.

The Devil fires a fireball from his trident. The fireball barely missed Alicia and the wolves, burning a tree into a crisp behind them..

"I think we should run!" Balto said, frightened while Alicia nodded.

She and the three wolves ran away as fast as they could. But Alicia tripped over a small rock and fell onto the ground. She tried to stand up but the shadow eclipsing her told her the Devil was behind her.

She looked up and he grinned at her with his seductive smile he always has if he saw her.

"Leaving so soon, my sweet?" The Devil crooned.

She backs up trying to get away from him when suddenly… A magical blast hits him, throwing him back.

"Get away from her, you creep!" Natty yelled as she was wielding her magic wand.

Lexie has summoned her butterfly-like angelic wings, holding her paintbrush and Katie has gotten out her Keyblade.

"You'd better back off, Ol' Scratch Butt!" Lexie snapped.

Alicia looks happy and a bit scared to see her friends coming to help her.

She still thought about the nightmare but her thoughts disappeared as Death suddenly lifted her up in his arms while Balto and Legoshi walked up to him.

"We will bring you somewhere safe first before we help the other girls fight Diablo." said Death

But Alicia declined.

"N-n-no, it's okay." She said with a stuttering voice.

Natty and Katie casted a Thunder spell, zapping the Devil similar to how he gets electrocuted upon making contact with the impenetrable invisible sweater while sputtering in pain.

"Ow!" Balto said, flinching.

Lexie then turned invisible and started to beat the tar out of the Devil. From the perspectives of Alicia and the wolves, it was practically more like the Devil was beating himself. It sort of reminded Alicia of how Patrick tried to make SpongeBob look tough so he could enter a tough guy bar.

The Devil reeled back, groaning while holding his head until he felt something — someone — grabbing him by the scruff of his neck like one would with a cat and lifted him up. The same force then turned him around and… kicked him into the air, throwing him off into the distance.

"I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!" The Devil yelled as he was thrown back into the darker section of Toon Town.

"What the…." Death said confused.

"Uhhh…." Legoshi couldn't close his mouth.

Fawkes landed on Alicia's shoulder as Death gently put her back on the ground.

She pets her companion on the head before her friends rushes to her. Lexie made herself visible again as she, Natty and Katie practically swarmed Alicia in concern.

"Ali! Are you okay?!" Katie cried. "We were so worried about you when you weren't in bed!"

Alicia didn't know what to say. Should she tell them about her nightmare? Or not?

She just lowered her head while Fawkes cooed in concern.

"Al? What's wrong?" Lexie asked, looking worried.

"I had another nightmare. And…" she sighs "It's worse than the last one."

Balto looked to her in concern. He knew what problem she had with facing one nightmare after another.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry!" Natty gasped. "What was it this time?"

Alicia sighs again before she told them all about her nightmare.

"We lost the game and you guys were mad at me, saying hurtful things like how you shouldn't have trusted me because I'm half demon and…" she wipes her tears away.

Fawkes cooed more and rubbed her head while Death and Legoshi tried to calm her down.

"And you turned into demonic versions of yourselves before you cornered me." Tears started running down her face as she said that.

Katie gasped in horror as she covered her mouth with her hands. Alicia was sure that the older girl even started to have frightened tears welling up in her eyes.

"What?! Al, that's ridiculous!" Lexie claimed. "We're your friends! We would NEVER say such a thing!"

"She's right! It was just a nightmare!" Natty added. "Even if — IF — we lose, we would NEVER blame you. It's understandable that you're worried but you shouldn't be so quick to doubt yourself. No matter what, you're our friend and we love you."

Katie nodded as she finished, "No matter what the Monstars throw at us, we're stronger together. As long as you have true friends at your corner, you have nothing to worry about."

"Yeah! We're with ya all the way!" Kaichi piped up.

Aya mewed, Daisy squeaked and Fawkes cawed in agreement.

"Really?" asked Alicia nervously.

"Yes." Katie replied.

"You know that we trust you, girl!" Lexie chimed in. "You had helped us in the past and we know that you're a confident and loyal friend through and through!"

"So don't you ever doubt yourself!" Natty added.

All three of them gathered Alicia into a great big group hug.

"Aww!" All three wolves said.

"Well, thankfully we helped Señora out." Death mentioned putting his sickles back in the sheets.

Alicia was confused like the others about his statement.

"What do you mean by that?" Alicia asked.

The others were confused too and wanted to know what the wolf meant.

"Well during the night all the villains roam the streets of Toon Town." He turned around and the group saw what he meant.

Nearby, the Joker from Batman: The Animated Series was walking past with his trademark grin, looking like he's already up to no good.

On the other side of the street appear some Pixar Villains like Charles Muntz from Up, Syndrome from The Incredibles and many more talking to each other.

Further away from them, Squilliam Fancyson, Squidward's insufferably snooty rival was running away, screaming in terror as he was being chased by an angry Steele, the main antagonist from Balto, who was leading Carface from All Dogs Go to Heaven, Roscoe and Desoto from Oliver & Company and Ferdinand, the main antagonist's obese Dachshund who moves around on a skateboard from the 1992 Tom & Jerry Movie.

Arrow, Rudolph's mean-spirited cousin and rival from the 1998 Rudolph movie, froze in shock, looking like a deer (pun not intended) caught in the headlights as he spotted Shenzi, Banzai and Ed from The Lion King eating at a scrap of meat nearby. Unnerved by this, the mean reindeer cautiously turned in the other direction and hurried away before the hyenas could spot him and decide on having him for dessert.

"Why did I even come down here in the first place?!" Arrow complained as he scampered off. "Mom said going out after dark when villains are wandering about wasn't a good idea! Why didn't I listen?!"

Meanwhile Blackbeard from the anime One Piece was laughing with Bluto from Popeye and the Flying Dutchman from SpongeBob SquarePants.

All three looked to another villain not far away from the three pirates.

It was Prince Charming from Shrek 2, walking down the path wearing his underwear instead of his pants because Shere Khan from The Jungle Book had torn them apart like a cat would do.

Over at a tree, Porkrind's shady regular, Jerry from The Cuphead Show! was doing some business with Gargamel, the main antagonist from The Smufs, with feline sidekick, Azrael at his side. Jerry pulled out a suspicious looking box from his coat and handed it to Gargamel, who was more than happy to hand him a huge sack of cash in return.

Meanwhile, Mugman's former piano teacher, the snooty Ludwig from the episode, Piano Lessons was strolling by, Ursula the Sea Witch from Disney's The Little Mermaid resurfaced from the lake, scaring him. With a seductive smirk, Ursula was seemingly flirting with Ludwig, which terrifies him, prompting him to run away.

"We see what you mean." Lexie gulped. "Sheesh, you'd think they'd have better things to do than roam the streets."

"Maybe we should get back to Granny's before we attract any unwanted attention." Katie said nervously.

"Yep, we should unless we want to talk with those guys." Alicia added.

"Let's get going." Natty stated.

The group walked back to Granny's house to get some good night sleep.

After all, the Ultimate Game is only one day away.
