It was a bright and sunny day outside, the sky was clear and blue with no clouds in sight.

And to Star, it seemed like the perfect day to teach her teammates how to play Pokémon Pingpong.

With a wide grin splitting across her face, the two-tailed monkey Pokémon bounded over to where the others were lounging about in the sun.

"Hey guys!" she called out to them as she approached. "You guys wanna do something fun?"

Rain lifted her head from her paws and tilted her head curiously. "What do you have in mid Star?" she asked the Ambipom with a mischievous gleam in her eyes.

Star laughed and gave the grey cat Pokémon an wide grin. "I was think we could all play some good old Pokémon Pingpong." She said as a means of explanation.

The other members of Team Heroes just gave her confused looks.

"Pokémon Pingpong?" Luna blinked owlishly up at Star. "What's that?"

Star smiled and bounced from foot-to-foot in excitement. "Pokémon Pingpong is a pretty simple game. All you do is hit this small pingpong ball back and forth and try to block the other person or Pokémon from making a scor on your side of the table." She explained as best as she could with what limited knowledge she had on the subject.

Once Star had finished speaking, the others all glanced to one another before turning to face their friend, ready to give her their answer.

"So, what do you say?" she asked them eagerly. "Wanna play some Pokémon Pingpong with me?"

Blaze was the one who answered her question. "Yes, yes of course we'll play Pokémon Pingpong with you!"

Star cheered and did a few flipped in the air out of pure excitement.

"Yay! This is gonna be so much fun!" Star cried out as she lead the way to the area where the game was set up at.

"So who's going against who?" Spark chimed in from her place on Star's head.

Star giggled quietly to herself at the Pikachu's antics and used her tails to set her back down onto the ground.

Star cleared her throat and turned to face her friends. "Oh, and one more thing before I get into the teams," she paused to take a breath before continuing. "No moves aloud. You can only use your paws, tails, or if you really want to, your head."

They all nodded their heads to show that they understood and Star smiled widely at all of them.

"Ok, so, here's how it'll go," she glanced over at Rain and Frost. "You two will be playing against each other." The two Pokémon nodded in understanding.

"Sounds good to me!" the small Froslass replied with a challenging gleam forming in her in her frosty-blue eyes.

"Me too!" Rain mewed happily while puffing out her chest. "And I'm gonna win," she added in a more playful tone of voce.

Star laughed at their playful rivalry before turning to the next team. "Blaze and Dawn will face off in a match." She nodded toward the Team Heroes leader with a small blush dusting her cheeks. "Will that be okay?"

"No problems here Star!" they both replied together, smiling brightly and giving her a peace sign which she gladly returned.

"Okay, so since there's only three tables, we'll have to alternate between teams," the Ambipom quickly explained, paused to let the new information sync in before she continued speaking. "I'll team-up with Luna, and then after a few rounds or so Spark and Ivy will go." She nodded to both Snivy and Pikachu, who both smiled.

"But what about Ghost, Melody, Seashell, Blizzard, Kindle, and Sirens?" Luna asked while pointing with her tail towards Mimiku, Sneasel, Dewott, Amaura, Delphox, and Lucario.

"They'll go in the next round." Star nodded to the six other Pokémon, smiling at them to let them know she hadn't forgotten them.
