Summary: While training for the magic tournament, the mages of Fairy Tail meet someone new. This person has a great secret which must be discovered by himself. Many new enemies and dangers await in the darkness. Even another dimension is revealed. It is time for the next adventure. An adventure that will change the course of history.

Naruto grumbled a little and opened his eyes. He could see the blue sky and even an eagle. Something didn't seem right. The eagle didn't move a bit in the air.

Naruto straightened up and looked around. He was still lying in the crater that had been created during the fight against the woman. Naruto held his head for a moment. A wave of memories hit him, and it wasn't exactly pleasant.

After a few seconds, his head calmed down and he opened his eyes again. 'When everything is at a standstill, it means...' Naruto looks over his shoulder and sees an old acquaintance. It was the man who had hired him for the book.

"You've changed," the man said. He looked closely at Naruto and could feel exactly the power emanating from Naruto. Last time, Naruto was definitely not as strong.

"I came across someone from my past and it seems to have unleashed a hidden power inside me," Naruto said. He stood up and turned to the man. Naruto was sure that this man is one of the strongest mages around. There had never been anyone in the history of magic who had been able to stop time completely.

Whatever that magic was. Naruto was glad he didn't have the guy as an opponent. Otherwise, he would die without even realizing it.

"That explains the demonic power," the man said and walked up to Naruto. Naruto looked down at himself and narrowed his eyes. 'Do I really have a demonic power?' Naruto thought to himself and then looked at the man as he walked around Naruto.

He walked around Naruto once and stopped in front of him again. His usually annoyed face was very serious at the moment. "Wherever you got that extra power from... You should never use it. It could influence you and control you," the man said.

Naruto frowned and just nodded. He could still remember when he briefly awakened this power at the end of the fight against the woman and used it. He could immediately feel his thoughts changing. He'd be doing himself a favor if he never had to use that power.

However, he also became stronger in general. By awakening his hidden magical powers, his normal magical power had also increased. He would train his own powers as before, and not the powers of the creature who gave him that power.

"I'm going to go back now. Stay alert, there's a lot going on in Fiore right now," the man said, then snapped his fingers. Before Naruto could say anything, he suddenly disappeared, and time seemed to run again.

Naruto gasped briefly once, propping himself up on his kneecaps. He took a deep breath and straightened up. He wiped his forehead once with his hand and removed some sweat.

'It looks like my body hasn't gotten used to this change yet. I should go back to the hotel and rest,' Naruto thought to himself. He started slowly and walked up the crater.

He also thought of all the new memories he had received. He was from a village that was surrounded by a large forest and was right on a massive rock face. He didn't know the name of the village or what all the children were called. All he knew was that the woman from his past was called Satsuki Uchiha.

He didn't know the full connection to her yet, but he and she seem to had something together at some point. The feeling from her lips to his was very familiar. It was almost hypnotic. He couldn't move at that moment.

Naruto felt Lucy and the others running towards him. He sighed and just kept walking. The mages of Fairy Tail would arrive soon enough. He didn't want to make a big effort now and just went back to the hotel so he could sleep and maybe went to the hot springs afterwards.

After 2 minutes, Naruto stopped briefly because he felt a magical power right behind him for a brief moment. He looked over his shoulder and saw nothing. There was only the path where he was currently walking on it and the trees or shrubs at the edge of the path.

He looked ahead again and shook his head. He began to walk and after a few seconds saw all the mages of Fairy Tail. He smiled slightly when he saw Lucy and the others. He didn't even know why.

Maybe it's because Lucy was there. Maybe because he'd already made friends with a few of them. Maybe there was another reason. The only important thing was that he was happy to see the mages of Fairy Tail.

His body seemed to react and became weak. It seems like his own body only stayed strong until Naruto saw Lucy, Natsu, Erza, Gray, Levy, and Wendy. Naruto's smile disappeared and his eyes rolled back. He became unconscious again and fell over.

This time he didn't hit the hard ground. A gentle breeze caught his body and let him glide gently to the ground. Wendy had used her magic just in time to create a cushion of air under Naruto.

"How is he?" asked Gray. He took a sip of his drink and looked at Lucy. A day had already passed and so far, Naruto hadn't woken up again. They took Naruto back to the hotel and put him on his bed.

Lucy kept checking on Naruto and so far, Naruto hadn't woken up yet. She was genuinely worried about Naruto. He seemed to be sleeping, but so far, he hadn't reacted to anything. Even when Wendy healed him and he theoretically had all his energy back, he just didn't wake up.

Wendy had also hinted that Naruto was different than before. Something inside him seemed to have changed in the fight against the unknown enemy.

That would be the next problem for the Fairy Tail mages. Whoever fought Naruto was stronger than any Fairy Tail mage currently present. Even Erza wouldn't have stood a chance against Naruto's opponent. It just showed them how much time they really lost through those 7 years.

"Still unchanged," Lucy said.

"He's waking up again, Lucy! After all, we're talking about Naruto here. The guy is strong," Natsu said. After all, he had fought him briefly and Natsu knew right away that Naruto was strong.

"I agree with Natsu. Naruto is a strong mage. I don't know if I could win against Naruto right now," Erza said. She would certainly if she were 7 years older, but not at the moment. She needed to train a lot more and get stronger.

She's the strongest mage in Fairy Tail, and she was worried about that. There's someone in Fiore who was so much stronger than herself, and maybe even stronger than anyone from Fairy Tail. She's not the only one who needed to get stronger.

She needed to contact Makarov and inform him of this event. It could be that Naruto's opponent reappears at some point and targeted Fairy Tail next.

She wanted to wait for Naruto to wake up and ask him about it, but she couldn't wait any longer. She stood up, "I will contact Master and inform him of what is happening. I don't have a good feeling about it," Erza said in a serious tone.

Gray nodded, "Do that, Erza. We're waiting here," Gray said, and then he looked back at Natsu. Natsu also seemed unusually serious. Even Natsu had realized that he was far too weak.

After everyone had seen the scene of the battle, all the mages of Fairy Tail were speechless. They have never seen so much destruction. Everywhere there was destruction and large craters. The massive crater of the explosion and the bright light was unimaginably large. There could easily have been half a city inside.

Natsu would never admit it openly, but he was a little afraid to fight someone like that. He knew full well that he would have no chance against Naruto's opponent at the moment. That's why he's been training much harder than before.

Every member of Fairy Tail had generally realized that they had neglected their training far too much. Even before Tenrō, they should have trained a lot more. If every mage on Tenrō had been stronger, and the Dragon Slayers especially, they might have been able to defeat or expel Acnologia and thus not be frozen in time for 7 years.

They would all become much stronger. That's what everyone present swore to each other. Never again would anything like Tenrō happen, where almost the entire guild was wiped out. Natsu stood up, "I'm going to train again." He went out of the room and Gray sighed.

"I agree with Natsu. I'll see you later." Gray said. He also walked out of the room and followed Natsu to the beach. No one really knew what this spectacle had triggered in every mage of Fairy Tail.

Perhaps this change was already about to be triggered and after Naruto's fight against the unknown enemy, the change began to take effect. Whatever the reason, all the members had become calmer and more serious.

Lucy also got up and walked out of her room. She walked down the long corridors and made her way to the stairs. She wanted to go back to Naruto and check on him. She wasn't in the mood to train at the moment. Her thoughts were only with Naruto at the moment and she couldn't concentrate. Whether she would try to train or not.

She just hoped that he would wake up soon and tell who he fought there and why he just disappeared on the beach fighting Natsu. She had been really worried, and she was still a little angry with Naruto.

"Did you find him?"

"Otherwise, I wouldn't be here again."

The man frowned. "And?" He really didn't know why he was on this mission with Satsuki. After all, Satsuki could do this crap on her own. There was still a war at home, and he would rather be in the village with his family. But, as is often the case, the Hokage had of course sent him here with Satsuki.

Satsuki Uchiha stopped and looked over her shoulder. Her stoic face looked straight into the black eyes of Konoha's best strategist. "He lost his memories, and his power was sealed. I broke the seal that was on his body. However, it will take time for him to fully remember Konoha and reawaken his old power."

The man sighed. "Ok." He turned and walked off. It was clear that something was wrong with Naruto. After all, he's been missing for 4 years and if he remembered everything, he would have come back to Konoha a long time ago.

Earthland was a peaceful dimension, but even so, Naruto would never shy away from war. He was a hero in Konoha after many heavy fights. He was the only one who could handle the power of a Devil Slayer. Only he could actively use the power without losing his mind.

The man looked over his shoulder and saw Satsuki following him. He narrowed his eyes as she looked to the side and looked stoically at her surroundings. 'It's still the question of why Satsuki came back to the village all of a sudden. Before Naruto disappeared, she had been with Orochimaru for several years. It was only because of Kakashi and Sakura that she was able to go back to the village and live there again.'

The man looked in front of him again, 'Whatever. I'll keep an eye on you Satsuki. You're hiding something from everyone. You may be able to deceive Sakura and Kakashi, but not me.' With these final thoughts, he became one with his shadow and simply disappeared.

Naruto looked out from the balcony. He just woke up and he was alone in the room. 'How long did I sleep?' In any case, he was completely rested. His body was no longer tense as it had been in the beginning, when he had reawakened his hidden powers.

He frowned and closed one eye. He could remember something from his past.

A white tornado formed around Naruto's right arm, and immediately after, he made a downward motion with his arm. "Wind Magic: Air Cutter!" A blade of wind shot out of the tornado around Naruto's arm and flew through the air.

The Wind Blade hit a massive fireball, splitting the fireball into 2 pieces. The split flames flew past Naruto, and when they hit a rock behind Naruto, there was a brief explosion.

Naruto stormed off, just like his opponent. He formed a sphere of pure energy over his palm in a sprint and held his arm in the direction of his opponent. "Energy Make: Spiralling Bullet's!" The Rasengan shot like a bullet from the palm of his hand, and immediately afterwards another Rasengan formed in front of his palm and fired off as well.

Naruto unleashed several Rasengan from his palms, and his opponent clapped her hands together in response.

"Lightning Magic: Thunderwave!" She stomped on the ground once, and a blue magic circle appeared under her feet. A wave of blue lightning shot from her body, knocking all the Rasengan away.

Naruto appeared behind her and made a deep kick. She jumped over the kick and countered with her own kick. Naruto raised his arm and blocked the kick.

"Do you like what you see?" she asked. Naruto could see her long, slender legs. How could he not? One foot was just pressing on his arm and the other leg was on the forest floor.

"Are you serious?" Naruto asked, grinning. He pushed her leg away and jumped away. He looked right into her red eyes with black tomoe. "I'll get you back, Satsuki. That's what I promised you," Naruto said.

Wind gathered around him and swirled around him as if a tornado were about to form around him. As he did so, a gray aura appeared around him. Satsuki grinned as well, creating a blue aura around her with blue lightning that appeared from time to time.

"You'll have to beat me first..." she walked slowly towards him and licked her lips "... And don't let yourself be distracted by something else again." Naruto narrowed his eyes and walked towards her as well. It was always the same with her.

'Why does this woman have such an effect on me?' Naruto and Satsuki stopped in front of each other, and Satsuki grinned slightly. Naruto looked directly into her eyes and before anyone could do anything, Naruto turned around and unleashed a strong gust of wind.

The gust of wind resembled a hurricane in strength. When Satsuki saw everything destroyed in a straight line by Naruto's wind magic, she licked her lips again. She took a step forward and hugged him from behind. Naruto's body twitched briefly, but he didn't resist. His eyes were still focused on the massive cloud of dust he had produced.

He could see a few mages being hit by his wind spell. He had always been one of the best sensor mages from Konoha. Even when other mages suppressed their magical powers with something, he could still feel them.

"Don't we want to help a little more?" Sasuke pressed her body against Naruto's and whispered it in his ear. Naruto looked to the side where Sasuke's head was and began to grin slightly. "Just don't think that our fight won't go on here."

Sasuke grinned and looked straight into his blue eyes. "I wouldn't want anything else."

Naruto and Sasuke both held their arms in the direction where all the mages lay in the long line of ruined landscape. A two-tiered magic circle appeared in front of them, with the outer magic circle being gray and the inner one being red. Both arms ran right next to each other and made contact.

"Unison Raid: Majestic Flame Destroyer!" A stream of flame shot out of the red magic circle, which widened into a wall of flame after a few meters and immediately afterwards a strong gust of wind streamed out of the gray magic circle. The flames grew larger, and the wall of flames became even wider than before.

A massive wall of flame, 100 meters long and 30 meters high, moved at a rapid speed along the landscape, burning everything, it touched to ashes. All the motionless mages were all burned alive and all that remained of them was a charred corpse.

Sasuke, meanwhile, kissed Naruto's cheek and then turned his head towards her. His blue eyes shimmered gray momentarily, and wind gathered around the two of them. Sasuke grinned and pressed her lips to his. Naruto's eyes narrowed until he returned the kiss.

He turned to Sasuke and hugged her as she wrapped her arms around his neck, pushing his body harder into hers. The wind swirled more and more around the two of them before they both simply disappeared into the wind.

Naruto opened his closed eyes and looked down at his hands. 'Whatever is going on between this Satsuki and me is not normal.' Naruto looked out at the beach again and let his mind wander. He didn't know what to make of it.

From the looks of it, he wanted to get this woman back somewhere. Maybe to that village he'd seen in his memory fighting Satsuki? He didn't know. The connection between him and Satsuki was not normal. Fighting each other first and then becoming so intimate was definitely not normal.

He shook his head and went back to his room. He was currently wearing only grey trousers and his upper body was completely bare. He flopped down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling.

Naruto was smiling unconsciously. He finally had a lead. He finally knew something about himself. How long had he been looking for answers and never found any answers?

His past had always been shrouded in darkness to this day. Slowly, it felt like the darkness was finally clearing and some light was being shed on his mysterious past.

He heard the door open, so he sat up. Lucy walked in and widened her eyes when she saw Naruto. Naruto smiled slightly, "Hey Lucy."

Lucy's anger from just now was forgotten when she saw Naruto. His blue eyes were full of life, and he smiled like he had at the beginning. "You're awake," Lucy said.

"I'm sorry. Did I worry you?" Naruto asked.

Lucy walked up to Naruto, and this confused him a bit. She didn't say anything and just walked towards him. Naruto wanted to ask what's going on, and for good reason. He had never seen her like this before.

When she was with him, she suddenly hugged him, and Naruto was briefly surprised. He looked at Lucy in confusion as she dug her head into his shoulder. "Lucy?" Naruto asked. He's still sitting on the bed and Lucy was just standing while she hugged him. Her body was bent forward, but only her arms and head touched Naruto.

After a few seconds, Lucy moved away from Naruto. "Excuse me. I was worried and couldn't believe that you were awake all of a sudden. You've slept through more than a day."

"No wonder with what happened in the fight," Naruto said, looking at his hand, which he held up a little. He formed it into his fist and then looked at Lucy. "I owe you an explanation."

"Why did you run off on the beach?" asked Lucy.

"I can't quite describe it. I felt a magical power in the distance and then my body reacted on its own. I can't describe it. It was as if I had to find the source of this magical power. I couldn't resist this urge. It was way too strong," Naruto explained.

Lucy sat down next to Naruto on the bed and looked at him intently. Naruto closed his eyes and looked out the balcony. "I found the source of the magical power after a few minutes. It was a woman from my past," Naruto said.

Lucy's eyes twitched briefly, and she became a little jealous. So, Naruto hooked up with a woman from his past? Of course, that's great for him!

"I didn't realize that until she attacked me all of a sudden," Naruto said. Lucy looked at Naruto for a moment, a little shocked, but when he looked at her, her gaze became serious.

"I haven't been able to remember anything that happened before I was 16. I always wondered who I really was. I can only remember waking up in a forest when I was 16 years old and the environment around me was completely destroyed. It was as if a massive explosion had destroyed the entire site."

"I've been trying to find more about my past for 4 years. Last year I said to myself that it wouldn't do any good anymore and that's why I looked for a job as a bartender in Crocus. I never thought I'd find out anything about my past."

"While I was fighting this woman, memories came back to the surface. I can only remember very little, but it also triggered something else in my body. I had a hidden power inside of me and that's why I'm stronger now than before," Naruto said.

"We noticed that when we found you. You have become much stronger in this fight. What do you remember exactly?" asked Lucy.

"I come from some village that was surrounded by forests and was located on a massive rock face. Above the village, several heads are carved into the rock face. I can remember how I always ate there with 2 people and also some children. I believe that these are acquaintances or friends of mine. I don't know, though. This is all just speculation." Naruto paused for a moment and closed his eyes.

"As for the woman..." he opened his eyes, "Her name is Satsuki Uchiha. I don't know exactly what this woman has to do with me." Naruto didn't mention the kiss or his relationship with the woman. He couldn't describe it, but he didn't want to make Lucy angry.

He had just noticed it briefly. When he had only hinted at Satsuki, she immediately became angry for a brief moment. He liked Lucy and would hate to make her angry.

"She's definitely from the same village as me," Naruto said. He got up and went to the balcony. Lucy followed him, looking at his face as he leaned against the railing and looked out to sea.

"Tell me, Naruto, don't you remember anything else?" Lucy asked. She didn't know exactly how to say it, but she felt like Naruto wasn't being completely honest with her at this moment.

Naruto shook his head. "I wish so. I would like to know how I ended up in the forest back then and above all what this hidden power inside me is. All I know is that I got it from a giant creature."

Naruto held his head for a moment as another memory from his past surfaced.

"Why me? I never wanted to be a Devil Slayer!" Naruto yelled to an old man. Naruto looked like he was 8 years old. He had learned the reason most of the village feared and hated him.

"You were the only one who took on that power and didn't go crazy, Naruto," the old man said. He sat at a desk and wore a white robe and hat. On the back of his clothes was Hokage in red kanji characters.

"Did my parents really have no choice?" Naruto asked with tears in his eyes. He just couldn't believe it. His own parents transferred the demon's sealed power to Naruto as a baby. He always had weird dreams of a huge fox with nine tails and red fur. He could control fire and produce huge orbs of pure magic that destroyed everything and everyone.

"Unfortunately, no. This was the only way we could ensure that the Nine-Tails remained sealed," said the Hokage of Konoha.

"So, I've been suffering all my life because my parents couldn't find any other way and they transferred the power that came out of the seal to me?" Naruto got angry and a red aura appeared around him, and 6 whisker marks appeared on his cheeks and his eyes turned blood red with a black slit.

"WHY ME? I NEVER WANTED TO HAVE THAT MAGIC! I DON'T HAVE ANY FRIENDS AND NO ONE DARES TO DO ANYTHING WITH ME!" The red aura began to change and shortly after, Naruto was engulfed in red flames.

"CALM DOWN, NARUTO!" the Hokage yelled, unleashing his murderous lust on Naruto. Naruto calmed down a bit when he felt this tremendous magical power from the strongest mage in the village. A white aura pulsed around the Hokage momentarily, and his gaze was threatening.

"Naruto!" said Lucy. Naruto blinked a few times and looked at Lucy. She looked at him a little worried. "Are you okay? All of a sudden, you looked like you were elsewhere with your thoughts."

Naruto nodded, "Yes, I'm all right," Naruto said. He looked down at his arms, 'It looks like I didn't have the best childhood,' Naruto thought to himself. His younger self seemed desperate and completely devastated. Naruto could feel these negative emotions clearly. This old man seemed to have been the leader of the village when Naruto was younger.

'So, my parents gave me this strength when I was a baby.' Naruto frowned briefly. He would like to know who his parents were and how this incident happened. The old man had also said something about a Nine-Tails. Could this be the demon that was sealed somewhere in the village and whose powers Naruto got?

Naruto couldn't say. He feels like he'll remember it all soon. More and more memories were coming out. He had learned more about his past in the last 3 days than he had in the last 4 years.

However, these had always been only short memories. He just had to keep waiting and try to understand everything.

"What magical powers does this Satsuki have?" asked Lucy.

Naruto looked at Lucy and then sighed. "In battle, she used Lightning Magic and Fire Magic. I don't know if she uses any other magic," Naruto said. He wondered why he wasn't telling the whole truth. At least he still knew about Sasuke's weird eye magic. After all, she briefly became much stronger at the end when she got those weird eyes. It was almost like a power boost when Naruto had to explain it. Similar to the moment when he briefly awakened his Devil Slayer powers.

"Ok," Lucy said. She looked at Naruto, opening her mouth until she remembered Erza's words.

"If you find out anything, you'll have to tell us directly, Lucy. The safety of Fairy Tail could be at stake."

Lucy no doubt had feelings for Naruto, and she would like to explore them further with him, but she loved the guild as well and that's why she had to go now. She got some answers to everyone's questions.

"Naruto, I'm going to leave you alone now. Get some rest and we'll talk tomorrow, ok?" Lucy asked with a smile. Naruto looked at her and nodded, "Ok. See you tomorrow," Naruto said.

Lucy hugged Naruto one last time before leaving. Naruto looked after her for a moment until he looked out to sea again. There was too much going through his head at the moment. Otherwise, he would have asked Lucy if he could come with her. But this was not the most important thing for him at the moment.

"Erza Scarlet?" Naruto asked. He was standing in front of Erza's room right now, knocking on her door.

"I'm coming." He heard Erza's voice and took two steps back. When the door was opened, Erza was standing there in her bathing suit. It looks like she wanted to go back to training right away.

"Sorry if I'm disturbing you. I need to talk to you," Naruto said.

A week has passed since that day. He could clearly see a change in the mages of Fairy Tail. They didn't seem as cheerful as before. Especially Lucy and Natsu.

Wendy was the only one who still seemed reasonably normal. "Come in," Erza said. Naruto bowed briefly and walked into Erza's room. He had learned from one or two conversations with Lucy why they were all so different than they were at the beginning.

Naruto was able to convince Lucy, but this is not enough. Naruto didn't want everyone to change so much because of him. He liked the mages of Fairy Tail. They were so cheerful and so kind. They were there for each other and right now they didn't seem to be themselves.

"What's it about?" asked Erza. Her expression was serious, and that's why Naruto sighed. Erza was one of the few members of Fairy Tail who was more serious than the others. But Naruto hadn't even seen her smile in the last week.

"You changed because of me, and I wanted to apologize for that," Naruto said.

"You don't have to apologize for opening our eyes. We already understood it after the incident with Acnologia. We neglected our training far too much." Erza talks openly with Naruto because she trusted him. He had personally told everyone his story and who his opponent was.

"That's all right, but you don't do anything else, Erza. I've been watching you guys for the last week. You just look serious and don't do anything but train. You should also do something else besides exercising during the day. It's okay to train a little every day, but you should also take it easy and laugh with your comrades again. I didn't see any of you laugh anymore," Naruto said.

Erza's eyes widened as Naruto showed her the pure truth. She thought for a moment, trying to remember where she was in the hot springs with Wendy, Lucy, Levy, and Lisanna. She was sure that she had talked to Natsu and Gray every day and would have laughed too. But she couldn't remember a single time.

"T-the..." Erza was speechless. She couldn't believe that she really had nothing but training on her mind. She really didn't do anything except work out. She completely forgot about her comrades in the process. That was the worst thing that could have happened.

"I understand how you feel, Erza. But doing nothing more than training won't do you any good. Magical power is all well and good, but it depends on your comrades. Haven't you overcome all the hurdles in the past because of your comrades? Lucy told me a few stories."

Erza looks at Naruto and he smiled slightly, "I envy you and the other Erza. You are one big family at Fairy Tail. I've always felt in my life that I could never have this family."

"Of course, I know you by now and have found good friends in you, but I don't have this deep connection with anyone yet. I just hope that one day I can have such a connection with someone as well," Naruto said.

"Oh damn. I'm sorry, I didn't want to talk about my wishes here." Naruto laughed a little nervously.

"Anyway, I'm going to go now. That's all I came here for. Sorry for the interruption." Before he could walk out the door, he heard his name.

"Wait, Naruto," Erza said, standing right in front of him.

Naruto looked directly into Erza's dark eyes and saw her smile for the first time again. "Thank you. I lost sight of something important, and you opened my eyes again." She walked past Naruto and opened the door. "You were wrong about one thing, Naruto."

Naruto looked at her confused, "You already have such a deep connection. Gray, Lucy, Natsu, Lisanna, Wendy, Levy, and I are all your friends. We all agree that you should join our guild. From our point of view, you are already part of the family, and our master would also like to get to know you."

Naruto's eyes widened for a few seconds and then began to smile slightly. "Thank you," Naruto said.

Erza nodded and gestured for Naruto to follow her. "Come on, we need to wake up the others," Erza said.

Naruto followed her, smiling. "I was able to open Lucy's eyes," Naruto said.

"That's what I thought. Natsu and Gray were supposed to be on the beach, so we should go there first," Erza said.

(A/N I hope you all enjoyed the second chapter from Golden Wind God. We will see each other again in the next chapter. See you!)
