Captain Anderson and Shepard's Mom gave a beautiful speech in Shepard's honor. Hard to believe the uptight spectre I knew was a wild child. I had more in common with him than I thought. Kaiden takes the microphone.

"Commander Shepard and I go way back. I first met him when we were stationed together at an asari base. I just graduated from biotic school, and we were bunkmates. Became best friends almost instantly. He was so fascinated by my biotics and how it could give our squad an edge in combats. Most people are somewhat afraid of biotics and what we can do, but not him. He would ask me to do all kinds of crazy things. I remember this one time, Shepard tried to sneak out and he begged me to use biotics to levitate him over the fence. It was the first time I used my biotics in a nondestructive way. He showed me I could be more than a weapon. I'm going to miss you buddy."

Garrus goes next.

"I first heard of Shepard while I was digging up on Saren's location. For those of you who don't know, I was a c-sec detective investigating Saren for crimes. The higher ups ignored whatever evidence I could find and every lead I got sent me down a path that was dead end or blocked by red tape. I kept my eye on Shepard and when the time came, offered my expertise. I didn't really think he would accept me since I'm a turain, but he did. I was in bad time of my life and Shepard gave me a chance to do something right, as well as bringing me to a better place. Thanks to him, I was finally able to bring Saren down, with a lot of help I admit. Now I'm lost and do not know what to do. Whatever it will be, I'll do in Shepard's honor. Spirits protect him."

Ashley's turn.

"Shepard saved my life on Eden Prime. It was the first time we came across the geth. My platoon was killed and had no training to deal with synthetic enemies. Shepard and Kaiden saved my life. Thanks to them I was able to do something special. I believed the commander helped me make my grandfather proud. I'll pray that you two enjoy the bar up there in heaven. God please take of them."

Tali's syncs her voice synthesizer to the speakers.

"COMMANDER SHEP…. SORRY!" She turns the volume way down.

"Shepard and his team saved my life from Saren and his men. I had just lost my best friend and was severally injured, on the brink of collapse. I was on my pilgrimage. I was frightened, alone, and thought I was going to die. Then they showed up and saved my life. Not only did people who I was thought didn't care if quarians lived or died save me, they offered me a place among them and work. Something quarians are almost never afforded, especially on the best ship in the galaxy. I feel so blessed to be a part of this crew and meet the most amazing people. Ancestor if he can't go to where Ashley says he should, please take him with you."

My time to shine.

"Everyone else has gave such beautiful speeches, I admit, I'm not going to be anywhere near as good as they are. Thanks for raising the bar so high. Anyway, Commander Shepard was a lot of things as you heard, now I get to share my side of the story. Shepard… wasn't the best boss. He didn't praise me enough, couldn't pay me, I ate what I found, and didn't appreciate my unique humor…" the crowd laughs. Seriously, I tell them my dead boss was a cheapskate and they laugh. Ashley notices my confusion.

She explains "You're a modern legend in alliance circles. Shepard would tell stories about your insanity to whoever would listen" I'm so moved.

"Well in that case, he was a crappy boss. Could have at least given me a raise, but Shepard is.. was an amazing friend, one of the best I've ever had. He gave me a chance, when he really shouldn't have. I had nowhere to go and didn't know how to move forward with my life. Shepard gave me purpose, and befriended me. We would hang out when we had down time, do stuff on shore leave, and help me when things got low. I didn't really have many friends for most of my life. Shepard showed me the light and I've made so many memories I'll hold on to forever. I owe him so much, especially since he busted me out of prison. I'll miss you buddy. You get some rest. You earned out. If I see you again, I'll stop irritating you. I promise" I leave the stage. Liara is up next.

Liara?

Where is she?

I look at the group.

I ask. "Does anyone know where she is?" They shake their heads.

We looked for her wherever we could. The hallway, her room, the bathrooms, lobby, and more. Liara is not in a good headspace as of now. I hoped she didn't do something stupid, and I mean very stupid. Tali tries to locate her omnitool.

"I'm not getting a ping" she said.

"Is it turned off?" I ask.

"No, I could track it if it was turned off. Wherever she is, she's not citadel space" Tali said.

"Where did she go?"
