"HI JOKER!" I scare the crap out of the pilot. Phasing through the floor is much faster than the slow elevator and more amusing.

"Ah EDI! Why didn't you warn me he was coming?" Joker fixes his alliance baseball cap.

"Your comments about my processors left me in an unhelpful mood." What did he say?

"Would the two of you get married already?" If only they knew.

"Please. Like that could ever happen. What are you doing up here Mr. omnipotent?" Jeff is teasing with me, but he's afraid like all the others. This is one of the main reasons I kept my secret. Socializing is a rare thing for me. Even with my people at the guild, I'm an odd man out.

"I'm not omnipotent. There is no such thing." I said.

"Dude, you can fly" he said.

"Yeah, I can. Give me the wheel" I reach over for the console. Normally I would have been pushed away, now Joker doesn't put up a fight. I sit back into my chair. I pout like a small hurt puppy with only three legs wanting to go to a great family before the shelter euthanizes me.

"Come on man, you don't have to be afraid of me. If it makes you feel better, I can't think of anything. What do you want?"

"I want my bones fixed" he rubs his legs.

"I would, I could. Besides you'll want the disability benefits later on" he'll need that to bring his robot girlfriend clubbing.

"Why?" He asks.

"Just trust me."

"Whatever. Hey, is there anything I should know?" He asks.

"Maybe. Do you have a sister and Dad living in a colony?"

"Yeah why?" Joker stares intensely at me.

"I don't know for certain, but it appears the game developers hinted something happens to them. Next time they call you, tell them to prepare a bug out bag and to be able to leave at a moment's notice. Pack survival equipment and rations. No electronics. It won't happen for a while, if at all" I said.

"Serious?"

"Serious."

"I'll do that. Thanks for looking out for me man" Joker lightly bumps my fist.

"Kinda have to. You'll the only one talking to me and that's because you can't run away" I said sadly.

"It hasn't been long since you blabbed about everything. How's Shepard dealing with it?" Joker asks.

"He's not speaking to me. I messaged Kaiden and told him my secret is out. He and Shepard talked but I don't know what about. I think the illusive man back stab and my bombshell pushed him over the edge." I feel slightly guilty, but I didn't have to tell anyone. It was my choice and if I want to, I could leave this universe and never come back. With how close I am to the end, might as well see it through.

"He'll get the over it. What about everyone else?"

"Garrus appreciates the redecorating I did and using time travel to save his omega pals, but he now waits for me to fall asleep first. Kasumi no longer cloaks since she knows I can see her. She took my tabletop water fountain. That was a birthday present from my mom. Uhh… Grunt wants to fight me at my full strength. He'll get hurt. Chakwas and Mordin want me to transform into other races and do some medical scans" I said.

"What about Tali?" Joker stops his work.

"I don't think she really understands what I am. Does anyone really? She and the other engineers love that I can copy whatever components or parts they are running low on. I make them pay me with compliments. High pitched imitating noise "oh ********* you're the best. We love having you around. You're so handsome. Can you do this for us?"

"You're making a killing" Joker said.

"Wait until we get a really expensive rare part and I make infinite copies" I said. Money symbols flash in Joker's eyes.

"Stop that. Inflating the money supply almost ruined my country" I said.

"I hate economics" he said.

"It's important to understand how your currency works. I'm going to go try talking to Shepard" I get up and walk to the elevator. Respecting Shepard's privacy is a good move right now. As I take slow steps, procrastinating the hard conversation ahead, I get unwanted looks from the staff. Kelly is much quieter around me. I hate being an outcast.

The elevator takes a minute to arrive to my floor. I get in and push the button and to Shepard's cabin. He'll have to grant access before it moves. The camera in the corner turns on its red light. I wave hello.

"Come on Shepard let me up."

"I can just phase through the door and barge in. Wait, do you have a chick up there? It will be rude for me to join. Unless? No not my style."

"Would you for the love of. Fine get your ass up here." The elevator ascends. The door slides open a picture of Shepard marveling at his fish is what I see. His arms are crossed. A vein protrudes from his temple, likely from his tight jaw muscles.

"How is ********* junior doing?" I refer to the fish I affectionately named after myself.

"He's doing whatever he wants and not caring about others. Takes after his father" he spits out.

"I'm the stepdad. His mother and I got married before he got born. Or hatched. Whatever. Shepard, please talk to me" I beg.

He turns to me "I'm really fucking pissed at you."

"It's not good to keep your rage inside you. Alright grab a gun and shot me. I can take it" I cover my crotch.

"I'm not going to shot you. I thought you were my friend. I relied on you for so many things. Did you laugh realizing it was meant for nothing when I died?" He said.

"No. I truly care about the way people are feeling and it hurts me to see others in pain. However, I also know how unavoidable it is. When you died, I was so upset I had rynecol."

Surprised "WHAT?! Garrus and I could never get you to drink. You're lying."

"I never lied, and I won't to you. Shepard, I grieved you and it hurt a lot. The energies I control enhance my emotion, meaning I feel them more intensely. It's really rare for me to have to do something to shove them down. I was that upset when you were attacked" I wipe away my tear.

"Don't expect sympathy from me" he said.

"I'm doing this because I owe you. You could have left me on the citadel after Eden's prime. Instead, you took a chance and gave me one of the best times in my existence. I could give you a planet full of gold and it still wouldn't be enough to show my gratitude for being a part of your group. Now things have changed and I'm all alone again." The waterworks are really actually up.

"I still didn't know what I'm supposed to do. Asking you to leave is out of the question. Not because of what you know or what you are. Things changed."

"Yeah. I think we both need time for things to settle. I'm going to go play biotic ball at the citadel. Message me on the omnitool if someone needs me back" I said.

"What are you on about? The citadel is millions of-" POP.

I teleport to the citadel. I walk around the alien civilization. Looking at all the beings enjoying their time. Despite being next to them walking the same steps as they are, I'm unlike anyone here. I'm unique and completely alone. An outwards manifestation of the constant loneliness I try so hard to suppress.
