I'm in a fantastic mood today! The timing for everything I'm required to do happened just perfectly. No one bothered with my morning meditation which enhances the flow of energy throughout my body. It wasn't my turn to cook breakfast and it was a bit of a time saver. I say a bit because Tali wanted me to make her pancakes. I created a copy of the ones made on the original Normandy, but she wished that I made new ones. The ones I formed from the energy of my soul apparently weren't good enough. I asked what was wrong with these ones. Tali sheepishly muttered "I like it when you cook for me." Yeah, I had to make fresh pancakes after hearing that. Out of curiosity, I saved myself a piece and tasted it as a quarian. It wasn't bad. There was a slight unique flavor I enjoyed. My bet is something in the turian flour. I wonder if there is turian butter. Now I am imagining a Garrus cow. Would the white or black parts be armored?

Afterwards, miscellaneous chores were few and easy. Grunt is now cleaning his own tank. It was time for our little krogan to grow up. Amazingly, he's still growing. I'll have to sew him new pajamas. Dinosaur ones. I don't care how stupid you feel I'm getting pictures! Interruptions were minimal. No one asked me questions about the meaning of the universe, or what I should do with my life, should central banks be abolished? YES!

Currently, I'm in my room. Garrus is somewhere. To pass the time, I'm tending to my bonsai tree. He's been such a good little tree. I planted him from a seed and watched him grow these last few centuries. Since I barely spoke to anyone today, my expression generator needs exercise, pumping musical hums as leaves are pruned. Who would have thought grooming plants would be so relaxing.

The door opens and a smell of potent perfume glides its way into my nostrils. A splash of white and black borders my peripheral vision. AH Man! I was in a high vibe state and now it will be lowered to deal with her. I swear the multiverse hates it when I'm enjoying myself.

I ask "What is it now Miranda?" quiet. I sense a disturbingly low vibrational energy radiating off her. Without hesitation, I turn to her. She's about to break down in tears.

"PLEASE help me! My sister is in danger. Our father might be after her. I know I haven't been the greatest to you and I don't deserve it, but she is all I have! I'll do anything" Oh it's that loyalty mission.

I casually say, "Yeah sure I'll help." Please leave. I want happy time to come back. I brush away the dried leaves from the table.

"Really! I'm in your debt. Thank you! I'll rest easy knowing you're there. It's a relief since you know what happens" Miranda wipes her tears away.

"Ehhh…."

"What?" Miranda sounds concerned.

"To be honest, I thought your loyalty mission was kinda boring and I don't remember much. Off the top of my head, you'll meet a friend. Also, TALK TO YOUR SISTER" Sorry I didn't mean to yell so close to you Mr. Bonsai. I pat his upper soft leaves.

"You said you knew everything that will happen."

"No! I said I know most of what can happen. You didn't really interest me. When I played the game, I didn't trust you. From the player's perspective, second in command of a terrorist organization, you could have secretly had a leash on Shepard or something. It wasn't until the end we realized you can be trusted.

"There are no such control measures. I suggested it but the Illusive man was firm in his choice to bring back Shepard the way he was" she said.

"Can we just call him Jack?" I asked.

"I think it's stupid too. It became a habit at this point. The ship will be heading to Ilium soon. Thanks again so much for helping me. I know I don't deserve it. If you think of anything, let me know. I'll leave you to your hobbies" Miranda said.

"Bye Miranda" I said.

"Bye Miranda" The many leaves of the bonsai tree shake with each syllable.

"It talks!"

"Nah. Just screwing with you. Also, here you go" I hold out my fist. Miranda's cupped hand catches all the little surveillance bugs. Get reaction is a mélange of shock, embarrassment, and disappointment.

"So… you the things you said."

"Like I said, technically true. I knew you would think that, but my words have different meanings. People should listen carefully when I speak" Miranda is furious. Her fists sing crunching noises from the death of metal insects.

"Don't look at me like that. You're just mad our relationship would have been age inappropriate but in a different way. I could be your grandpa a hundred times over. What to expect with your daddy issues" Miranda nearly chokes me. I'm not a big fan. An ex wanted to try it and in the search of novel experiences, 4/10.

Miranda leaves and I return to my miniature tree.

"Sorry bonsai buddy I know you don't like bad vibes. I don't either but she's super mean. I think its sexual frustration" a few minutes of trimming and humming pass when I hear another knock at the door.

I shout "I'm not indecent."

"Wait what?" Tali said.

"Never mind. Come in. What's up?" I put down my trimmers.

"I know you've been busy asking anyone's questions and well… could you tell me what happens to my future?" Flashforwards her of finding her father's lifeless body. Then a flashback of my promise to not let anything bad happen to her.

"Fuck. Tali, could you call your father?"

Tali unsure how to react. "I can but he's busy with work on an important project. I'm only supposed to call at scheduled times or if there's an emergency. Is this an emergency?"

"Yes"

Tali instantly calls up her father. He doesn't answer. Tali calls again. This time he answers.

"Hello daughter. I'm in the middle of something. Why did you call? He asks coldly.

"Well um. Dad. This is *********. The human I told you about" Tali directs the camera towards my handsome face.

"The spectre? He looks too young."

"HA!"

"No that's Shepard" Tali corrected her dad.

"Oh. This is the one you-" Tali cuts him off.

"Father!"

I touch the screen and send a crumb of my energy in. It will travel along the radio waves or whatever omnitools use and track his exact location. "Hey Rael, do you want to explain how you've been using the geth parts Tali has been sending to reconstruct geth and test weapons on?"

Tali is shocked "Father you haven't!"

Rael is momentarily speechless. "How did you know this?"

My particle is there. Go time. I open a wormhole and travel to the other side of the screen. Rael is shorter than I imagined. I grab his pointy shoulders and literally kick him through my doorway. A couple assistants try to stop me, unfortunately for them, a simple gesture sends them away. The geth units are bound in some kind of lock, convulsing every few seconds. I sense they're in pain which enrages me. I walk over to the computer streaming the wannabe Skype and ask Tali how to free them. Rael ordered her not to, ignoring him, she points to a big switch on the wall behind me. It's that easy?

"Be careful" she said.

I angrily pull the switch, accidentally ripping it off. The geth units collapse to the floor. I walk over to a dark blue one and kneel down to it. Rubbing it's back, attempting to comfort them. It looks at me. The light inside makes it seem innocent like a child.

"Hey, the pain is over. You all get to go home now" I open another portal and send them to Rannoch. My soul somehow knows where the scene with Tali picking up a rock is and they're home. Concealing my appearance, I send the rest of the quarian staff to the location Tali would have been tried for treason. The ship is a lifeless floating hunk of metal. Preferable to what it was. I head back to the Normandy and bravely confront the situation I made.

"I don't understand anything that just happened, but do you have any idea what you've done! My life's work-" An unfairly weak open palm chest strike throws Rael back into the wall.

"You shut the hell up! What you did to those geth makes me sick to my stomach. Be grateful you'll still alive to feel an inadequate amount of pain. You have no idea how much I held back" unconsciously, a formidable intimidating aura invisible to the eye yet clearly felt envelopes the air close to me while I look this heartless bastard in those cowardly eyes. Tali steps between us. Her small hand on my chest gently pushes me away.

"*********, I don't know why this has you so upset but knowing you, it must be for a reason. You're an honorable and equable man, but this is my father. Please let me deal with this." Tali said. I calm down.

"YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS GETH COMPONENTS ARE FATHER! *********, Give us the room" always and always listen to an angry woman. I head out, wait I forgot something, turn around, walk pass the furious glares projecting from Tali, and grab the bonsai tree.

"I know you don't like fighting. Daddy loves you and is taking you somewhere nice."

"WHAT THE-" the doors close. I'm already regretting my choice, but I keep my promises. So much for a nice day

The commander ordered me up to his cabin for a chat. I grumble at the complaining he'll do. Shepard has been through some rough crap, I'll let him vent.

"********* is it true you kidnapped a quarian admiral? Specifically, Tali's dad?" Shepard asked.

"..."

"Look I know you do your stuff for reasons, but kidnapping Mr. Zorah is going to cause me a lot of problems and he says his project on the geth was of the utmost importance. Why did you do it?"

"I was keeping a promise" I said.

"What promise?" He asked.

"Swear you won't tell Tali? She's already in a bad mood and I don't want her getting even more upset" I said.

"We'll see. How does it involve Tali?"

Hesitantly, I explain "what was supposed to happen was a geth sympathizer would have freed the geth resulting in everybody on board dying, including Rael-"

"That's would have been horrible, but wouldn't this make Tali happy? "

"No wait, it gets worse. The quarian admirals would want someone to blame and use the tragedy to bolster public support for a war with the geth. Never let a tragedy go to waste. Tali could have been convicted of treason and banished from the fleet."

"Oh shit! As much as she likes it here, she loves her people. Losing her only family member and becoming an outcast would have destroyed her. I see why you did it, but was it really necessary to become physical with him? That seemed excessive and out of character for you" Shepard asked.

"I was good friends with robots in other universes. Even helped a couple ascend. You could have said later in the game 'if the geth were human, I would have told the alliance.' Whatever happened was bad. I'm not sure exactly what happened, and it should stay that way to mollify my intense seething rage." Deep breath in. Hoooold. Exhale slowly.

"I'll be honest, this is going to cause me some problems, but I think you did the right thing. Take some time to calm down before we help Miranda. I'm going to have to figure out what to do with Rael or how to explain how he ended up here. Any ideas?" Shepard's question is rewarded with a shrug.

"I'll come up with something or blame Zaheed. Until then keep your distance. I don't plan on telling him your secret, although Tali certainly will" he said.

"I promise I won't punch him if her comes near me... hard" I can keep that one.

Shepard comments "You're not usually this violent."

"People don't usually make me this mad. I need the bonsai tree to calm me down. I'll be in the dining area. Grab me when it's time to find Miranda's sis. May have to ask her out just to annoy the aussy brunette. Unless you want her? It's your universe. You get dibs."

"The thought is appreciated, but I'm not going to dig my own grave. Duty calls. See you in a short bit" Shepard politely kicks me out of his cabin. I should show him the cabin I built my bare hands. It's next to the mansion I built with my supernatural powers. I carved it from a single piece of solid bedrock carried to the surface, solely to screw with the locals. Conspiracy theorists think an alien built it. It was a project to pass time. While it is nice, it felt ostentatious and not for me. Elitist ********* was so not me. Zen ********* is where its at. Oh I should give the tree a tour. Make sure he knows it safe here. I need to make sure to skip Zaheed's room.
