Whoa it finally came down to this moment. After everything we've been through, oh what a sad day. I say my goodbyes. It's time. As much as I will cherish my time here, this no longer serves me. My gratitude for all that he has done knows no bounds. All my possessions are erased. It's time to move on to the next chapter of my life.

Garrus says "would you leave already? I hate chick flick moments. Why do you make everything so dramatic?"

"IT STIMULATES MY GENERATORS!"

"You're going to be less than five minutes away." Garrus reminds me. So close yet so far.

"Don't act like you won't miss me." I said as I wiped the nonexistent tears from my eye.

"I'm just glad to have my own room. I'm sure you will too. You can do whatever weird stuff without me watching." Garrus said.

"You dirty turian."

"You know what I mean. I'll swing by and see your setup after I finish some more calibrations. Eew still feels weird around you." his shoulder blades retract.

"Alright. It won't take me long since I have the design in my… I actually don't know. Point is it won't take long. I'll just need to make space."

"You'll be fine as long as the hammerhead isn't blocked." Garrus said.

"Oh crap that reminds me. I'll have to install a lock. What can stand up to a biotic blast or a krogan?"

"Should I ask?" Garrus raises an eyebrow.

"I didn't tell you this, but Jack does drugs in the hammerhead. I'm worried she'll break in and do drugs there. I don't want her low vibe activities to contaminate my living space." I explained.

"How is she doing? She's actually strange lately." Garrus said.

"She's trying to stop her cursing right?" I replied.

"Yeah. She'll be halfway through pronouncing it and get mad at herself. It's kinda funny if her biotics didn't flare up." Garrus said.

"She came to me and asked me to help her feel emotions her trauma cut her off from as well as other stuff. She needs to build up her discipline before she learns more advanced stuff, or she can cause herself and others a lot of pain." I explained

"Do you think she can do it?" Garrus asked.

"Yeah. She has the most potential out of anyone on the ship. Maybe even exceeding my own." I said.

"Seriously? Her? Not Samara?' Garrus asked.

"Samara is exceptionally disciplined and has tremendous control, however Jack excels in raw power. Jack's childhood was horrendous, constantly on drugs, fighting, raging out, etc. When she escaped, her drinking, sex, yadda yadda, her body and nervous system had accumulated so much damage and she was still that strong. Biotics or no. If she learns to control herself, she'll be a beast. But that's a whole other obstacle course. She absolutely hates giving up drugs and drinking for even a week, but she'll make progress. I don't expect perfection right away." I said.

"Good for her. Is Tali interested in learning your abilities?" He asked.

"No. She said and I quote 'I'm so happy I don't want to risk anything to tamper with this.' God I love that woman." My flow center feels euphoric.

"I'm happy for both of you. Go make your love nest." He said.

"Funny an alien bird says that." I said.

"I don't look like a bird. I have no feathers or wings." He looks at me with a strange bird face.

"The fans just said that. It's probably your beak like mouth." I said. Garrus touches his lips. Oh no I hope I didn't create an insecurity. I wave Garrus goodbye just before giving him a life-without-me-gift-basket, to help fill the void, and head to the cargo bay. Now that there is a large empty space, I can bring back something I left behind. Out of respect to the crew, the hammerhead will be visible from both the entrance and the loading hatch. While placing it behind the hammerhead would use the space more effectively, I decided to have it to the right against the wall. If the eye robot thing damages this, I can easily repair it but will still be mad.

With a wave of my hand, I recreate my grandfather's RV. After my grandma died, he had to leave and decided to travel the country for a while. It's nice. Spacious living room if the sliders are pulled out. The loft holds all my videogame consoles that have been hacked to contain every video game I've ever played. PS1, GameCube, original Xbox, everything that has ever been released since the moment of my first death. And now the new consoles they have here. Oh, I should invite Legion here.

I remember the time my Grandpa and his dog would sit at that couch and tell me about the places he's been. He looked happy. The smell of his vintage cologne is still here. I lay down on the Queen-sized bed in the back left of the RV. Oh god I forgot how good this feels to really stretch out. Naps here after a day at the waterpark was the best.

Knock knock.

Oh, this is worth getting up for. Urr..HMPH. one sit up is too many. I hoist myself off the bed and welcome my guest.

"Hey Tali, wanna hit the road and explore the world?" I pull her inside.

"I didn't know humans migrated like quarians." She takes my hand and I pull her inside. Her head swivels around taking in the alien surroundings.

"People of my time who had these would go on road trips for vacations."

"You just drive around for fun?" She asked.

"We listened to music when we drive, also stop at historic places, diners, this is what I took with me for touring the country's waterpark." Oh crap I forgot a wet towel is drying by the window. How rude of me not to clean up before bringing my girlfriend inside. She better not think I'm a slob.

"This looks in great shape for being over 100 years old. The carpet looks so soft, and I love the wood." she said.

"Actually, this was probably around six when my grandpa bought it and I just make replicates. It's how I got away with no maintenance bills or having to pay for gas."

"Gas?"

"Liquid fuel."

"If it's a liquid, why do you call it gas?"

"I… I have no idea. We'll I didn't invite you here for talking about gas."

"Oh? Why did you bring me here?"

"You know how I prefer not to have eyes on my when we're getting close?"

"Hmmp…"

"Let me put on some music. Don't worry there are supports under the RV frame to prevent it from rocking."

"Oh! And why would we need something like that?"

"Because we are going to DANCE!" led lights of all colors fill the small space between us. The most cheesy disco music I've ever heard plays loud enough to vibrate Tali's mask. A couldn't last thirty seconds and had to turn everything off. Sometimes I can't even take myself. Instead, I put something more fitting for what I've had in mind. A slow dance song. I offer my hand out and the most beautiful girl on the dancefloor actually takes it. Twirling her hand above her head, forcing her to spin into my chest. Tali's heavy helmet rests on my sternum while we dance. Side to side imperfectly causes us to circle around the space and I accidentally slammed my hip into the kitchen countertop. It hit the worst spot. The pain wasn't a problem so much as the incredibly weird blunt numbing sensation pervading my side. I couldn't help but laugh at myself.

Tali helps me up and pulls me close. Her hand pulls the polyethylene veil away from her face and I get to see a smile that could warm a frozen planet. Her large, dilated eyes imprison me. Tali's lips against my own are unbelievably soft. Her sweet taste teases the tip of my tongue. She smells like a mountain of a thousand different flowers blooming at once. The shutting down of thoughts to fully focus on the sensation of her warmth being me to heaven.

Suddenly, the door opens, and Shepard is here. Instinctively I force Tali's mask back on. Her immune system shouldn't be exposed to more than one person. Thankfully the way she was positioned was away from Shepard's view. My girlfriend's face is meant for my eyes only.

I shout "Where are your manners?"

"Sorry I didn't think you guys were having a moment. Put a sock on the door handle. Anyways we're nearing the station. Everyone is going. Get ready and meet in the conference room.' Shepard closes the door awkwardly. He's not used to the push button to close. These youngsters and their automatic doors these days can't even use a twist knob.

"Well at least we had a nice moment." she said.

"I swear some supernatural force hates it when I'm having a really good time."

"It was just bad timing. Thanks for all this. I'll cherish this memory and I do you. My cherished human." Her words ignite a raging fire in my cheeks.

"I never seen you blush like this. I think I found your pet name." she said.

"I think so too."

"I should grab my shotgun. Meet you up soon my cherished." she presses her fingers against my crimson cheekbone.

returning the gesture, I said "I love you."

"I love you more."
