Authors notes:

Only Character pulls only, it's due to balance it out. AP gain is very hard. If the MC (Doktah) do an exercise, he will only get 1 AP. Currently his farming AP by healing, gaining him 10 AP per healing a person. Also the MC can use a Kamihime's weapon and powers while sitting inside of him, giving access to soul and Kamihime abilities.

About soul, I choose to fuse them with the MC instead of making them a character due to how they function. Souls are the leader of the party. But with the MC, their position can contradict his.

On the topic of Eidolons, I'm pretty scared in doing them due to their backgrounds. Eidolons are equivalent to endbringers and some are even more so. These are the ones who brought Ragnarok, destroying multiple worlds by their lonesome and the Kamihime universe had a lot of them. But I will try to.

Chapter 4

Hearing the Endbringers sirens made the entire hospital go in full blown panic mode.

People went berserk to know what's happening, forcing some of the staff to keep them calm. Fortunately, Brockton Bay wasn't the target of attack.

It was Canberra.

I then found myself being pulled away by Amy. Following her, I listened to her as she rattled various do's and dont's in an Endbringers fight as we walked. Meanwhile, I felt my two passengers anxiousness as I was about to enter a huge fight. Caspiel is understandably worried while Tsukuyomi had anxious anticipation and worry.

Not soon as we left the hospital, Strider arrived with his powers.

Clad in blue costume, he looked like a typical mailman with googles and hat. Strider is a freelance hero, commission in fighting Endbringers by transporting heroes and villains alike to the battlefield.

" We are going to Canberra immediately." He said as soon as he saw us.

I then felt my body lurch as we instantly teleported from Brockton Bay to Canberra in a blink of an eye. It was unpleasant but tolerable.

Strider had teleported us inside of a evacuation center outside of the city. I already see the patients waiting in various state of injuries due to the mass panic exodus to get away from Simurgh.

"Let's get to work, I'll take the serious ones while you get as much possible before combat starts." Panacea beside me as Strider teleported away.

"Roger, boss. Take care." I lightheartedly said to her as we separated.

Let's farm some sweet APs, baby.

This is the best day ever.

If someone in here is a mind reader then they would be offended by my thought process. I don't care though as I watch the AP come in bulk per healing wave.

AP can only gain by doing significant actions. My work in Brockton Bay only net me 5 AP per person healed but right now I'm getting double.

10 AP per person, my healing wave only hits about 7 people at maximum. That means my AP income per wave is 70 AP.

I'm rolling in AP right now.

After rolling Tsukoyomi, I was left with a measly 20 AP. But now, I now sitting pretty at 1100 AP and keeps getting higher.

I also managed to master Cassiopeia soul today but I hold off upgrading it for now. I'm still in the vicinity of an Endbringer fight afterall.

A few minutes after Strider left us and we went to work, the sound of combat exploded in the city as heroes and villains alike fought the hope killer.

Not soon after that, fallen heroes and villains arrived in various states. Some are still capable to fight again after a healing wave and some aren't as they lost limbs or unconscious. The unfortunate ones are those brought here only to be announced as dead in arrival. I hated the last one.

As the battle raged on, fighters came in droves. I already healed Armsmaster 2 times, with him going back to fray after making me salute for the man. As more and more combatants arrived in the Evac site, I felt my girls' trepidation. Caspiel's nature as a guardian is calling her to fight while Tsukuyomi is itching to fight Simurgh.

To be honest, I don't want them to fight Simurgh. I don't know how will they affect the battlefield. I also feared they would die in combat. This isn't a game anymore, this is real life.

But I have no right to stop them.

Excusing myself quickly for a potty break, I left the site for some privacy.

Entering an unmanned tent filled with supplies, I let the two manifest in the physical world.

Wind flourished as the two joined me. Both have expressions of resolute.

"You know what to do, stay alive girls."

"Take care, Doktah."

A simple gesture from Caspiel and there gone. Tsukuyomi moved, leaving behind a cloud of darkness as she used her element to speed herself up. Caspiel meanwhile took to the skies to challenge the Endbringer.

I simply watched as they went away. When I can no longer see Caspiel, I went back to my work.

Still need to farm more AP.

The defenders are having a bad time.

Fighting Endbringers are tricky. To fight one, you need to know the ins and outs of how they fight in order to effectively fight them. But even with that, death is most likely to come.

At the front and bulwark against Simurgh are the Triumvirate.

But like others, they are having a bad time.

Alexandria mostly as she tries to approach the winged Endbringer, she would be met with a huge mass of debris gathered by its telekinesis.

Legend and Eidolon meanwhile is forced to hit and run tactics while destroying as much debris along the way to deprive Simurgh of munitions.

Slowly but surely, the two slowly approached Simurgh within the whirlwind of debris around her.

Then something unexplainable happened.

A solar eclipsed occurred mid combat.

The defenders watched in panic and curiosity of what is happening. There is no solar eclipse schedule today. Is this one of Simurgh's doing? Questions piled up with no answers.

The Simurgh was also curious but ignored the phenomenal event. Her network is telling her it's unnatural but it's just a celestial phenomenon, it would affect her plans.

Until rained blackened arrows from high above.

The defenders pulled back away as a veritable rain of death shredded the Simurgh. Her wings got torn as multiple arrows fell from the dark sky, shredding her tough body like Swiss cheese.

The attack was localized to Simurgh herself. The defenders cheered at seeing the Endbringer take a literal downpour of attacks even under the darkness of the Eclipse.

But Simurgh is no simple Endbringer.

Using her precognitions, the Endbringer started predicting the attack patterns and started weaving between attacks and escaped.

Some of the capes who saw Simurgh pulled a bullet hell matrix style move had their jaws dropped.

Escaping the area of effect of the attack, the Simurgh started retreating. It had sustained to much damage for today. All of its wings are torn and shredded, her lower torso is gone and she had multiple holes in her upper torso. Her injuries had turned the Simurgh into nothing more than a floating torso of a woman.

For the first time, Simurgh was severely injured. The time to attack was ripe. The Triumvirate immediately went for the kill.

Simurgh already saw them and had done preemptive actions. Using the destroyed buildings, she lift them with her telekinesis to meet the defenders.

Much to her hidden surprise, her telekinesis was slowed down. A wind force is slowing her telekinesis. This allowed the Triumvirate to weave pass the obstacles she used safely and cross the distance in between.

With the Triumvirate on her heels, Simurgh screamed.

It was a loud and powerful scream than her normal one. Alexandria crashed down, Legend overshot and crashed far away and Eidolon thrashed in the air as his ears bled.

Using the distraction, Simurgh retreated. But before locking on two individuals that interfered with its objective.

Down below, hidden along the destruction, a plum haired girl in kimono frowned as the beast left. She can shoot it down but the beast would surely expect it after it dodged her barrage under her Eclipse.

High above in sky, a winged small girl sighed in relief as the Endbringer was repelled away, Canberra is safe and won't be quarantined like in the original.

I hit the motherload today.

In just one day, I earn over 10,400 AP. Thats the largest amount of AP I ever had.

I no longer regret in sending the off. Most of my income today came from them.

Tsukuyomi first attack where she threw a barrage of arrows under her domain, the solar Eclipse, netted me a whooping 8000 AP. Meanwhile, Caspiel's supportive spells that protected and helped the Triumvirate got me over 1000 AP.

The two have returned to me secretly after the battle.

Tsukuyomi is currently beaming with pride after finding her total AP income. She is also requesting a reward when we get home. I also praised the downtrodden Caspiel who is sulking and pouting quietly.

Caspiel your always be my best girl.

But that's not the highlight of the day.

It was this.

In participating an Endbringer fight, you now have the rare chance of rolling the Eidolon Gacha.

Please note that Eidolon gachas are rare and will only appear in the system after a significant event.

An Endbringer fight is truly significant if this is my reward.

If I would compare an Endbringer to an Eidolon, it would be like a toddler to a child.

Eidolons just have very vast amount of powers and flexibility. They are also capable of learning and improving their power and skills, turning them into true monsters.

It was given as they are the personification of disasters and phenomenas.

And now, I will have one in my grasp.

But I don't want it. It is because of 2 reasons.

1. Behavior

If the Eidolon I is uncooperative when I roll, then I would be unleashing an Endbringer level threat in this world.

As much I want for this world to burn with how many shitty people are here, I kinda live here for the moment. I'm not going to burn my home down for the sake of greed.

2. Team composition

I still haven't have a full team of Kamihime. I still needed 4 more before it's a full team.

So I choose No, much to the girls dismay but accepted my reasons.

They might be strong but even the two of them would be hard pressed to deal an unruly Eidolon.

Instead I rolled for 3 SSR Kamihime.

Rolling...

Rolling...

Rolling...

Congratulations! You got...

Chapter end

Notes

1. Why Simurgh didn't see Caspiel and Tsukuyomi until at the end?

A. Because Kamihime are divine beings. Simurgh is incapable of simulating or processing divine phenomenon or the supernatural.

2.Why did Tsukuyomi's attacks easily pierced Simurgh's natural defense?

A. Kamihime's are equipped to deal with Eidolons, beings who could recreate Ragnarok.

PS. I found Scion the most underwhelming space whale ever. Motherfucker is so fucking dumb that he needed humans to fuck around and find out to gather data and develop his powers.

We already knew humans are the worse species to be given power.

Like holy shit, didn't he see us that we are the only species who actively seek conflict against one another.
