Chapter 2: It's Lonely Being One of a Kind (Reprise):
Jack's POV:
I was now faced with Father Winter. "First of all," I said, "Father Winter, you look really great for a man who's been around since the world began. I like your beard-"
"EXPLAIN YOURSELF, JACK FROST," says Father Winter.
I wonder if sprites can die. "Father Winter, I want to be human so I can be with Sapphira," I said.
"YOU WISH TO BE HUMAN," asks Father Winter, "NONSENSE!"
"You gotta hear me out," I said.
Jack: The happiness of being me
Is not what it's cracked up to be
It's lonely being one of a kind
With all the notoriety
The fame that nature gave to me
It's lonely being one of a kind
I'd like to be
Like everyone I see
Not special just an ordinary guy
Who falls in love
And leads the simple life
At least I'd to have a chance to try
The happiness of being me
Is not what it's cracked up to be
It's lonely being one of a kind!
I think that got to him. "I SEE," says Father Winter, "VERY WELL! BUT WHEN YOU ARE HUMAN, YOU MUST GET A HOUSE, A HORSE, GOLD, AND A WIFE BY SPRING! IF YOU DO, THEN YOU WILL BE HUMAN FOREVER AND IF YOU DON'T, YOU WILL RETURN TO US!"
"Wait, does it have to be at the same time, or is there a specific order," I asked, "I feel like I should get the gold first-"
"GGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOO!"
. . .
I then fell from the Winter Clouds and as I was falling, I was turning human. This is incredible... there's just one thing... can humans survive falling from the clouds?
To Be Continued
