"One of the events stated in the prophecy as seen by Yogengyo has unfolded, and this should be the beginning of the next heavenly war," Khalua announced. "Vegeta has declared his resolve to rebel against the higher gods just for the sake of that mortal woman. We have to prepare ourselves."

The Destroyer Mercenaries were having a meeting amongst themselves in their part of the heavenly realm.

"Will there be any way for us to prevent the prophecy from happening even further?" Cheongju questioned. "Khalua-sama, remember that once the Destined Strong One reaches his full potential, a great and powerful evil seed will be reborn."

"We have no idea whether Vegeta would even try to save us all from that thing or if he would destroy the Multiverse with it given he has that much power to do either of that due to the Secret of Self-Indulgence technique, but I can see that the human woman will have a role in this war as she could become the central force in this heavenly battle. Just as the Orochi did with the Goddess of Destruction, Heles of the Second Universe, and the mortal warrior, Irang, there is a possibility that Bulma Briefs, while she could be a reason for motivation for Vegeta, could also be used against him. This is something that we should be wary of. We must do something to prevent this without riling up the Seventh Universe's God of Destruction even further. That bold declaration he made just now only proved that if we try to further piss him off, it would only make matters worse and he might just turn to the dark side and obliterate us all when the time comes. Look at what he did to Mago."

"So putting harm to the woman is a big no, considering that any harm done to her existence could trigger Vegeta's rage and destructive outbursts at any moment," Dara stated. "What else can we do?"

"How about putting them up to a test?" Bairee proposed.

"A test?"

Khalua nodded as he considered Bairee's suggestion for a while.

"I see. We will create two parallel worlds and put them in two separate realities where they have the perfect moments of their existence. However, the other doesn't exist in there. That way, both of them will be forced to choose between one another or what they truly want. Vegeta is the reason why Bulma lost everything, and if he truly cares for her and if he really loves her, he would let her go on his own."

"So, how are we going to do that?" Kira asked.

Khalua smiled, "I know exactly who can help us with that."

Chapter 37: Their Greatest Test

"Are you sure that it's the Orochi?" Whis asked Yonshir. Both of them floated in space as they looked down on Planet Earth.

"Yes. I believe it is the Orochi. I have no idea how it came back. King Mu supposedly obliterated it millions of years ago. I tried to look into the history of that war, but nothing was off. However, there has been a sudden lapse in space and time that's formed within the Seventh Universe but I couldn't tell exactly what it was about. I think this is the reason why I cannot see Vegeta and the Seventh Universe's fate any longer."

The Goddess of Reality, Time, Space, Yonshir, harkened back to what she had gone through a few moments ago when Whis left her to join Vegeta on Earth...

Yonshir was at the dining room within Vegeta's castle, serenely sipping her tea that Whis had especially prepared for her earlier when he invited her to talk about Vegeta's stubborn behavior. She put her tea cup down on her table and raised her head to gaze at the massive aquarium wall across her, filled with different kinds of water creatures that had stood there since Beerus' time. In her mind, she recalled the events that occurred within King Mu's Null of Void and the conversation she had with the guide angel about the God of Destruction of the Seventh Universe following that fierce fray.

Suddenly, she felt a rift appear in the fragment of space, time, and reality of this Universe and she was alarmed by it. She was able to see and hear Vegeta's newfound resolve as he declared it with fervent determination to his guide angel. She could tell that he was truly planning to fight back against the higher gods in order to bring changes into the mantle of becoming a God of Destruction. She shook his head and let out an exhausted sigh. That stubborn child. He was truly bent on his plans of rebellion, but this wasn't what made Yonshir a bit less worried, it was what followed that vision that has greatly alarmed her.

After that bold declaration Vegeta made with Whis, Yonshir eventually found out that she couldn't see Vegeta's future any longer. This, in turn, also made her blind to the upcoming events which would later occur in the Seventh Universe. It was as if she was watching a show about Vegeta's declaration of war through a television screen which suddenly got cut off due to an unexpected black out.

"What–What did just happen?!" Yonshir pondered to herself, panicking. While she could actually see her surroundings, she felt like she was suddenly blinded by infinite blackness. How was she going to make her observations now that she couldn't see the future of this Universe at all? Aside from that, who did this to her?

Suddenly, she perceived as if her mind and spirit were forcefully pulled into a deep, black hole, leaving her body soulless in the God of Destruction's castle. She tried screaming for help but her cries only echoed across the infinite blackness.

She sensed a puissant, yet baleful energy abruptly emerged somewhere near her location and it startled her. Was this Vegeta? Is he back already? She hasn't known anyone else with such an intense, menacing, and mighty presence. But–

"Finally, it is almost time…" a deep voice echoed through the darkness she thought she was in.

No? It's not the Seventh Universe's God of Destruction's voice nor his presence at all. If it wasn't him, then who is this? Who does this malevolent demonic energy, which suddenly appeared out of nowhere, belong to?

It seemed like she knew this presence from a very, very long time. Some millions of years ago. 'Finally, it's almost time,' the mysterious but obviously male, hissing voice coming from the terrifying presence said. What does he mean by that?

Remembering Vegeta's decision to fight against the multiverse level deities, Yonshir let out a gasp of terror. She recalled the prophecy of the gods associated with him. King Mu believed that Vegeta was the Destined Strong One of the said prophecy. It was said that once he reaches his full potential, something evil is going to be reborn. She doubted that this sinister being who had boldly appeared before her now was that entity Vegeta was destined to fight against in the future. It was someone else. Perhaps, a decoy? Or most likely, a powerful subordinate?

And from the blackness, her blinded mind got filled with images of the upcoming future of the multiverse's destruction. Neither Vegeta nor the Seventh Universe was there in the vision.

Back to the current situation, Whis nodded back to her after seeing the vision Yonshir showed him via telepathy. He turned his attention back to the planet Earth where Vegeta was busy introducing himself to his new summoner and telling her about the contract. Once he told the client to call him by his name once she had decided to follow through the request, Vegeta returned to where Whis and Yonshir were talking.

"What are you doing here now, Yonshir?" he demanded her, his voice annoyed and uninviting.

"Have you noticed anything strange going on in the fabric of reality within this planet, Vegeta-chan?" Yonshir interrogated.

"Yeah. It's not your doing?" Vegeta asked her nonchalantly.

"It's obviously not! Why else would I be here if I am involved in this?" Yonshir retorted.

Vegeta chuckled at her, crossing his arms over his chest. His demeanor quickly changed as he suddenly got serious.

"An island that's supposed to be non-existent suddenly appeared out of nowhere on this planet. The one who summoned me lives on this very island and according to her, her father, a fisherman, was found dead along with four other fellow fishermen in their village. According to what I heard from her thoughts and memories, it looked like the cadavers were drained dry out of their life force and almost completely decomposed despite their time of death being just mere two days ago. I tried to look into what happened by calling out into the souls of those who died. However, for some reason, I couldn't find any of those four souls."

Vegeta frowned as he continued, "The Client, Feiy Raisha, highly believed that her father was brutally murdered by his friends two days ago. She said that the villagers had been acting strange lately too. Whis, I have to descend there, make use of Kawaru, and make an observation. Find us a mortal shell we can use."

"I understand, milord," Whis nodded as he summoned his scepter and searched through his crystal for a mortal existence his lord and himself could use. When he finally found one, Vegeta grinned in satisfaction.

"Let's go, Whis."

Bulma opened her eyes in the morning when she was awakened by the sound of her smartphone's alarm clock. She lazily turned her blue eyes across her, still half-asleep, as she reached out her arm to grab at her smartphone to turn off the alarm and stared at the time display on its screen. It was already two minutes past seven in the morning. Groaning, she pulled herself up from the bed, stretched her arms in the air, and rubbed at her eyes while she scanned her place. It was still her typical, tiny, studio-type apartment, there was no sign of Vegeta or Whis anywhere. She frowned in disappointment, mumbling angrily to herself as she dropped her smartphone on her futon, "Liar. You said that you will be back when I opened my eyes in the morning, yet you're not here with me, you jerk."

Sighing, she got up from her bed and cleaned up, putting the futon, comforter, and pillows in a sliding cabinet where she stores them. After that, she went to the bathroom to wash her face by the sink. Once done, she opened the door and scowled in dismay again. She half-expected that when she opened the bathroom door, it would automatically transport her to Vegeta's castle. Of course, it didn't happen.

She walked up to her small kitchen to make herself some breakfast, turning the television on so she could hear some morning news while picking up her food. After eating so much last night, she decided to take oats, a piece of buttered toast, and a cup of her favorite coffee for breakfast this time.

"Magus Island? Are they serious?" she repeated when she heard of the news about the fishermen found near the Lacco Village. She raised an eyebrow with a disgusted look on her face, wondering if the news were even real or if it's some kind of a joke. She heard of the Urban Legend about the mysterious Magus Island on some documentary she watched on TV before. A mystical island home to uncanny beings that appears every 350 years. Everybody knows it was nothing but a myth.

But, being reminded about Vegeta's existence made her think that it could actually be possible. It must be true or there could be some origin behind it, just like the Legend of the God of Destruction. She went to her small dining table to eat what she prepared for breakfast while she pondered to herself curiously what was on that island. People say that beings who live there are demons or monsters, but those dead men's pictures from their identification cards being flashed on the screen looked human to her.

"I wonder what Vegeta will have to say on this," she mumbled to herself.

After breakfast and washing off her dishes, Bulma took her bath, dressed up, and left for work. While waiting for a bus to take her to the Ox-King's Sushi Restaurant, she heard her name being called by a woman's voice.

"Bulma-san? Bulma-san? Is that you?"

Bulma turned her head to where she could hear her name being called and found three beautiful ladies approaching her as they squealed in excitement, "Oh my! It's really you! It's been a long time! You remember us, right?" asked the lady in the center of the trio, who was grinning at her from ear to ear. She has pale yellow-colored hair and pale-blue irises.

Bulma recognized the three ladies as her former classmates in University, Mint, Mocha, and the girl who spoke to her just now, Vanilla Regin.

"Ah… yes, I remember you," Bulma responded sheepishly.

Who wouldn't forget Vanilla Regin, along with her friends, who used to be the biggest stuck-up brats and bullies in the entire College of Engineering of West City University? Vanilla was the only daughter of Saike Regin, the man who killed her parents and accused her father of stealing the patents for the Hoi-Poi Capsules, a breakthrough invention the esteemed Dr. Briefs created. Vanilla was someone who viewed Bulma as her rival, as much as Saike saw Dr. Briefs as his own. Bulma always felt that the Regin family was envious of them for some reason. They did everything they could to put the Briefs family down, in which they succeeded.

Now, look at how the haughty Vanilla was acting all too proud, flaunting her riches with her expensive clothing, accessories, and gorgeous hair style, trying to look like a dazzling beauty under that thick make up. Back then, Bulma always had an opinion that her so-called 'beauty' was nothing compared to her own, who didn't need to put that much effort just to look drop-dead gorgeous. After all, she used to be the heiress to the world-famous tech company, the Capsule Corporation. She had luxurious items at the palm of her hand, beautiful gowns and dresses used to frame the smooth curves of her body. She had the most expensive shoes designed by famous shoemakers, yet despite all the money she had, she was more humble than these three pretentious bitches.

Being reminded by the bitter feelings of how her life changed so much within three years when she lost everything that's precious in her life, Bulma wondered what these three girls were here for. She was worried that they just came here, especially Vanilla Regin, to mock her about how the mighty Bulma Briefs, the former heiress of the Capsule Corporation, had fallen.

"What are you doing here?" Mint asked curiously. Her long, teal-colored hair tied in a high ponytail on the top of her head. Her carmine irises bright.

"I'm going off to work, you see," Bulma answered.

"Really? Where?" Mocha, a brown-skinned woman with braided lilac colored hair asked.

"Uh…"

Bulma hesitated to answer at first. She never felt ashamed about her job as a waitress in the Ox-King's Sushi Restaurant, but for the first time, in the presence of these girls, she did. She had a feeling that they were going to laugh at her and insult her for it. Bulma tried to tell herself that there's nothing to be ashamed about her job, it puts food on her table and is a legit and good work. It was far-fetched from what she expected her job would be when she was younger, but it was the only place who hired her after that horrendous event of her life. She can't help but wish that she could at least work in a place where she could do the things she loved and use her actual genius talents such as tinkering with machines or inventing some crazy new tech. It was what she always dreamed of doing. But now, she had no other choice but to work as a waitress just because nobody would want anything to do with her.

She also wished that she could at least clear the name of her father from the accusations of stealing the patent of the Hoi-Poi Capsules from Saike Regin. There's no way her father would ever do that. It was a baseless accusation because Saike was just jealous of her father's success. If only she could know the truth and have any evidence against those accusations…

"Oh come on, don't be shy with us now. Everybody knows what happened to you so you don't really need to hide anything. We're all friends here now," Vanilla encouraged.

"Yes, Yes," her friends agreed, nodding.

Bulma wanted to say that she didn't really need their pity, but all she could say was a low, "Thanks."

"Hey, why don't you come with us? We're going to eat and stay at the Yonsei Hotel. Don't worry, it will be my treat!" Vanilla invited with a fake smile.

Why would Vanilla suddenly offer her that out of nowhere? Was she feeling bad for her? Wait, Yonsei Hotel? What's that? Is that something new? Why does it feel like Bulma had heard that name before when she actually didn't?

Bulma waved her hand and smiled, "Sorry, but I really need to go."

But Vanilla was quite persistent, "I'll pay you. Just come with us, okay?"

"Huh?!"

Vanilla suddenly grabbed Bulma's forearm and wrapped her arms around hers in a sweet manner. Then she dragged Bulma along with Mint and Mocha as they strolled towards this Yonsei Hotel Bulma was still trying to make any sense of.

"Where are you taking me?" Bulma asked Vanilla.

"I already told you, at the Yonsei Hotel!"

"Yonsei Hotel?"

"Haven't you heard? It's part of the top, massive, and world-class conglomerate in the world right now, the Elite Yonsei Group, and one of their five-star hotels was just newly built around the city!" Vanilla told her.

"Aside from that, they have several other prestigious companies and businesses specializing in mobile brands, telecommunications, military weapons, clothing brands, automobiles, gas stations, pharmacies, shopping malls, and Elite Academies around the world!" Mint continued.

"I heard that all of these businesses are owned by a single man who doesn't even make an appearance in the media despite his Super Elite status and the massive popularity of his conglomerate. I wonder why though," Mocha pondered.

"Really? I think I never heard anything about that before, although I know someone who has the same name… Wait– please don't tell me–" Bulma gasped.

"–Yonsei is a common name for a generational suffix. Although I find it strange that despite the ominous belief in the number four's meaning, it was received well around here," Vanilla said.

"I guess you're right about that," Bulma agreed.

"Still though, for someone like you, I can't believe you never heard about it. It's the next big thing after the downfall of Capsule Corporation three years ago! Where have you been living after what happened? Under a rock or something?"

Bulma wanted to say that she was serious about that. As much as she knows, a Yonsei Hotel or a Yonsei Group never existed until now. It was as if it just popped out of nowhere and became an instant big hit that everybody marveled about. She was beginning to suspect that Vegeta or Whis must be behind this trickery.

The four ladies entered the said five-star hotel, a group of four, massive, 44-storey luxurious skyscrapers painted in blue, white, and gold, overseeing the entirety of Central West City. They arrived at the reception to check-in into the executive rooms the hotel prided itself on as their Luxury King suites, which Vanilla generously (or more like, haughtily) paid for them. Bulma was still in disbelief and still confused because in her mind, this luxurious hotel wasn't here nor was it being built yesterday or on any other day. If she remembered, this was the exact location of a nightclub fire that killed 546 people twenty years ago and was an empty lot believed to be haunted by the ghosts of those who died in the fire since then. Nobody would take this piece of land and build a business building on it for that reason.

While waiting for the elevator at the lobby near the reception, Vanilla suddenly asked Bulma, "So how are you doing lately? I heard that Yamcha-sama dumped you because of what happened to you."

Bulma grunted, feeling a bit insulted at that, especially knowing that Vanilla once had a crush on Yamcha back in the day and even tried to flirt with him by becoming one of the cheerleaders for the Team Taitan.

Bulma snorted as she rolled her eyes, "Yeah, right! That's what he told the press. He didn't say anything about how he had an affair with Shona Pharee behind my back and I discovered it on my birthday? I was the one who broke up with him, not the other way around," she cleared through her gritted teeth.

"What?!" gasped Mocha in her utter disbelief.

"I guess you're right. He was cool and was pretty popular with girls. I can't really blame you for feeling insecure and jealous towards women like Shona. Oh well… It's good that you dumped him. You don't deserve that kind of jerk in your life. So, do you have a new boyfriend? Someone better than him?" Vanilla asked.

"Well… I do, but–"

"Really?! Who?! Introduce him to us!"

"Huh?"

"Aww, come on!" whined Mocha.

Vanilla suddenly had this bright idea, "Oh! I know! Why don't we invite our boyfriends too and let's have a quadruple date?"

"Yes, that's a great idea, Vanilla!!" Mocha and Mint agreed.

"Uh… He's not… He's not here, you see. He's a very busy man," Bulma tried to say.

"Busy? If he truly loves you, then he should find the time to spend with you. Plus, it's Sunday, girl! He should be available!"

How was Bulma going to tell them that her boyfriend was never off-duty because he is the God of Destruction of this Universe? What kind of job on Earth had that kind of schedule? A doctor? Or a Nurse? Maybe a policeman or a soldier in the royal air force? Yes, maybe she could tell them that her boyfriend is a commander in the King's royal air force fighting in a war somewhere? Would that lie be believable?

Bulma was about to open her mouth to say something when the elevator door opened and two people came out which made her eyes almost drop out of their sockets. There was Vegeta and Whis, wearing formal corporate attires instead of their usual clothes. So much for thinking of him as a royal air force commander…

"Oh, you're here," Vegeta said with a surprisingly gentle smile as he stepped out of the elevator, which made Bulma even more bewildered by his odd behavior. Gosh! That black tuxedo suits him greatly! He was followed by Whis behind him. Vanilla, Mocha, and Mint stared at him with their jaws dropped and eyes widened in utmost awe of his appearance as he approached Bulma. He's the most charismatic and good-looking man they had ever seen. He had an aura of sheer power, dominance, and enigma they never found in any man before. However, there was an eerie, intimidating, and dangerous air about him too, but who cares about that if that only adds to his irresistible hotness?

"Wha–what are you doing here?" Bulma asked him breathlessly, her mouth open in her bewilderment as she stared at him. She suddenly had lots of questions in her mind, but she was more relieved that he was here as if to rescue her.

He held out his hand to caress the side of her face as he peered lovingly into her eyes, "My apologies for not being there when you woke up this morning. There was a sudden meeting that I had to do. I've always been on graveyard shift and it was quite a busy night," he said with a wink.

Bulma stared back at him dumbfoundedly, asking herself if the odd effects of the food he ate at her house last night hasn't diminished at all.

"Do you know him, Bulma-san?" asked Vanilla.

Bulma nodded fiercely as Vegeta turned to the ladies, "Oh, I see you have quite the company. Nice to meet you. I am Vegeta Yonsei, and I'm Bulma Briefs' boyfriend," he introduced himself with a smirk that made the ladies fall for him even more.

Bulma turned her head towards him in surprise. He turned his head back at her and winked once more. She tilted her head in confusion.

Vanilla cut their eye to eye contact when she asked, "Yonsei? You? Please don't tell me you're–?"

Vegeta turned his head on her and smirked back, "That's right. I'm the President and the owner of the Elite Yonsei Group," he confirmed.

Bulma's jaw dropped while the three ladies let out long, wide gasps, covering their open mouths with their hands in their disbelief. This man is the richest guy in the world right now, and he is Bulma's boyfriend?!

Vanilla's smile eventually turned into a sneer of utter jealousy when Vegeta turned his attention back to Bulma.

"I need you to come with me for a while. We will return to them later," Vegeta whispered to Bulma, who only nodded back at him, still shocked and speechless.

"So, have you ladies checked in already?" he asked the three other girls.

"Uh… yes, yes." stuttered Vanilla, Mocha, and Mint.

"Oh, alright then," Vegeta told them. "You may go ahead to your rooms, Bulma and I will meet you soon. I will make reservations in the Sky Restaurant for lunch and we will see you there. If you wish to invite your partners for a date, you are welcome to do so. Whis, kindly return to this woman the amount she paid for my beloved. I will personally take care of hers."

"Yes, sir," Whis nodded politely. With that, Vegeta took Bulma's hand and told her to follow him. Bulma wasn't able to say a word as she walked next to him and found everyone working at the hotel bowing down to him like he was their boss. He took her out of the hotel and led her into a lavish car that was brought to him by one of the security guards who got off immediately, and opened up the door next to the driver's seat for Bulma to enter. She simply entered the car without a word. The said guard who drove the car to the entrance bowed down to Vegeta as the God of Destruction went to the driver's seat. Vegeta ignored the humble human and got into the car, strapping in Bulma's seatbelt and then his own.

"Woah, is this really Vegeta? Why is he suddenly being a gentleman to me now?" she thought in astonishment as she stared at him wide-eyed. She saw his jaw twitch as he silently snorted while he started the engine and drove off.

"Well, aren't you going to ask me anything?" Vegeta asked her with a slight annoyance in his tone and without looking at her. Despite that, Bulma saw that he was smiling in amusement as he stared at the road ahead of him while driving.

"Sorry, but I'm kind of confused right now. What are you doing?" Bulma stuttered breathlessly.

Vegeta rolled his eyes at her, "Tch, can't you see that I'm driving this primitive piece of junk?" he responded in a sarcastic way. This air car looked far from being primitive and a piece of junk though. It was actually the latest and most expensive car available on Earth at the moment.

Bulma hissed, "No! I mean, why–? What–? When did you–? Ugh… I don't even know where to start. Just explain everything to me and I think you know what I'm talking about since you can hear my thoughts anyways."

"Hm, alright," Vegeta conceded with a slight chuckle. "Whis and I considered staying on this planet and taking human identities in order to mingle with your society and make observations of what human life is like, while of course, staying with you. We are also investigating an anomaly that appeared on this planet three days ago."

"What is it?"

"Something that shouldn't exist appeared on this planet. As of now, I have little to no idea what it was. I am currently spending a day getting used to this mortal shell and once I have taken over this existence completely and perfectly, then I can go and investigate this matter."

"Mortal shell? Take over?"

"In order to take on a mortal identity as a human, we used a divine technique we called as Kawaru, a substitution ability that allows us to force our own existence into a mortal being's shell by absorbing their energies of existence and replacing their cores with ours so that other mortals would recognize us as part of their world. This way we can conceal our divine nature and abilities under a mortal presence until we let go of it or when we invoke our full power. Typically, this technique is used by the God of Destruction and his guide angel to investigate a world that's on the brink of being destroyed and whose fate depends on my divine judgment. This time, I'm taking on the identity of Yokori Ayanami Yonsei, the sole young master and owner of the Elite Yonsei Group. The original owner of this existence was going to die yesterday so I took over his existence and now became him."

"So you're a mortal right now?"

"Kind of, but not really. To a typical mortal, aside from you, Whis and I would appear to be normal humans. You can only tell the difference because we've already influenced you, and I expect that your workmates in the sushi restaurant where you work could also tell that. Although they are still completely unaware of what we truly are. Aside from that, any other being who is gifted with powerful supernatural senses, like Shamans or Spirits, would instantly know who and what we are."

"Hmm… I see. I guess it's like you've hypnotized others into thinking you and Whis are humans," Bulma said.

"Hn… You could say that."

It was quiet between them for a while. Suddenly, Bulma broke out with a laughter she tried to stifle as much as she could. Vegeta gave her a weird side glance when he heard her thoughts reminiscing his behavior towards her since yesterday after his fight with Mago. Also the fact that he kissed her before leaving for his job and the way he called her by her name on his own accord and as his beloved… Bulma couldn't help but squeal and feel overwhelmed by euphoria and excitement.

"What's so funny?" he asked.

"That's the first time you called me by my name genuinely," she pointed out with a huge smile and a red face.

"So? What about it?"

"Are you starting to feel a little friendlier after what happened between us?

"Hmph! Don't get your hopes up too much. It doesn't change the fact that we both live in different worlds," Vegeta told her.

His cold and nonchalant response made her excitement go down.

"Yeah, right. I'm just glad that you're addressing me by my name now instead of 'woman'. It gives me the impression that I have finally gained your respect. Thank you, Vegeta," she told him with a smile.

Vegeta simply shrugged his shoulders and snorted back. A typical response from him.

"I didn't know you could drive. You're actually doing good," Bulma complemented.

"I don't. I just learned how to because of Yokori's knowledge about this," Vegeta cleared.

"So you get to absorb everything he knows, too?"

"Yes, everything about him and within him."

"Woah… Won't that feel a bit too overwhelming in the head?"

"This sort of thing isn't a problem for me. I've been doing this for 1,500 years. There have been things more overwhelming than this. Don't worry about it. It doesn't bother me anymore."

"I see. So where are you taking me?"

"To get you some clothes. I wouldn't want you looking so pathetic right in front of those bitches. You can go ahead and choose whatever you want, consider it a payback for the clothes you gave me back then," Vegeta told her.

"Ooooh… I guess you have a lot of money now, huh?" she teased with a wide smile.

"Hmph! Have you forgotten about the black card? It's exclusive for a divine being like myself and it works anywhere in the multiverse!" he snorted.

Bulma pouted, "What?! You have that much money all this time and you let me pay for everything?"

"I don't remember asking for that. If I recall, it was you who offered to give me everything because you were hoping to save your world from me."

"Ahh… I can't believe you. For a god, you're quite stingy," she huffed.

Vegeta chuckled, "Hey now, isn't that worth it when I chose to spare your little mudball from my divine destructive wrath? You should be thanking me instead of calling me that."

"No, you are so cruel, you ruthless, evil, jerk!"

Vegeta smirked back at her, "Ooh, did you just realize that now?"

Both of them were laughing together. Once they stopped in the parking lot of a shopping mall, Bulma held his hand and leaned against his shoulder.

"Hey, don't get upset and impatient with me while I'm trying on some clothes. Human women take too much time choosing clothes," she warned him.

"Hm… Alright, but your friends are going to be mad if we're late for lunch," Vegeta reminded her.

"They're not my friends. I know they just want to mock me for losing everything," Bulma mumbled.

"That bitch who paid for you was Saike Regin's daughter, correct?"

Bulma nodded grimly, "Yes."

With that, Vegeta turned his head to her with a critical gaze, "Are you upset?" he asked.

Bulma didn't answer him for a while and Vegeta could tell through her thoughts that she was indeed upset. He wrapped his right tail around her waist as if to comfort her in his own way. Bulma felt his odd extra appendage snaked around her and she turned her eyes on him.

"If you're upset, you may go ahead and blame me. It's good for your mental health," he told her.

Bulma blinked her eyes to look at him in surprise. She suddenly laughed, hitting her palm against his shoulder, "Are you out of your mind?! Why would I blame you for that?"

Vegeta wanted to remind her that he was the deity responsible for the misery of mortals. It was because of him that she lost everything in her life. It was him who permitted Saike and gave him the will to kill her parents because he already planned to choose Bulma to decide the fate of humanity and the planet Earth for him on that day in his hopes of getting rid of her and their unwanted bond. Feeling guilty, he pulled away from her, letting go of her as he told her to get out of the car.

"Fine. Let's just go so we can eat lunch soon," he grumbled, looking away before he got out of the car. Bulma abided his order and followed him.

Vegeta accompanied her to an Elitist and highly prestigious department store owned by the Yonsei Group. He imperiously commanded his bowing employees to get all the customers out of the building, which baffled the gawking humans around. Bulma thought that despite being 'human', Vegeta's presence was still as intimidating and powerful as he was as a God of Destruction. When the manager of the store fearfully approached him and told him that his demands were impossible, Vegeta went to the nearest fire alarm and punched it with his bare fist, crushing it completely and causing the alarm to go off. All customers and most employees ran out of the mall, thinking there was a fire and leaving only Bulma, the baffled manager, and a bewildered saleslady Vegeta grabbed while she was trying to run for her life, alone. He ordered both the manager and the saleslady to assist Bulma, both recognizing her as the former heiress of Capsule Corporation.

Bulma tried on several fine dresses, accessories, and shoes, feeling a bit of nostalgia when she used to shop in a similar mall to this one and buy these things for herself in the past. She missed trying out all the branded and luxurious things and getting them easily. This felt like a dream come true to her. It was as if she was living the life she was always meant to have once more, thinking this could probably be heaven for her.

It would be nice if she could live this kind of life again. But she knew that good things don't last long. Bulma tried not to think about that and just took in the moment, after all, the God of Destruction was on her side and was ironically blessing her life right now.

But at what cost?

Vegeta's jaw dropped as he stared in astonishment at Bulma, who sauntered back at him wearing a new look. She donned a silk purple dress that fits perfectly against her wonderful curves. She had high heeled stilettos on her feet and was holding a leather handbag in her newly manicured hands. Her blue hair was newly cut from the salon, a nice bob cut that framed around her oval shaped face, Her sky blue eyes sparked with a wonderful light, full of life and joy. Her make up was simple, yet her appearance was elegant and angelic. For some reason, he could imagine her as a princess walking right towards her waiting prince. She was the most beautiful woman he had ever laid his eyes upon and no one could ever compare to her. He rose from the seat where he waited and held out his right hand for her to reach. She held his hand and approached him. Once she was in front of him, she wrapped her arm around his and whispered in his ear, "Are you alright? You're all red."

Vegeta suddenly coughed, and he pulled away from her. Bulma laughed as she chased him to rub his back. "What? Did something get stuck on your throat?"

"Shut up!" he retorted, pushing her hands off him.

She grinned, "So… How do I look?"

Vegeta's face turned redder as he peered at her up and down and then, he cleared his throat, looking away from her as he mumbled, "You're… You're looking fine… I guess."

Bulma giggled as she smiled at him. He grabbed his arm and pulled him in front of a full body mirror.

"Look at that, we do look like a good couple," she complemented. Then she turned to fix his collar and his necktie.

Vegeta stared up at Bulma while she was doing that. He heard her thoughts earlier while she was choosing her clothes and began to wonder what it would be like for her if he didn't approve the contract Saike Regin willingly signed with him. From the moment he saw her three years ago, he knew he had already chosen her to decide the fate of this world for him. Despite the challenges she faced after losing everything in her life, she stayed resilient and continued to live. Most humans would rather kill themselves after the pain and humiliation she suffered within these past three years, and yet she remained strong. She chose to humble herself, to work as a waitress in a sushi restaurant despite her great intellect, and to live in a small, shabby apartment rather than stay in that oversized mansion where she used to live for most of her life. She did say she endured a post-traumatic stress disorder after her experience around people being killed, he even saw her frequently get nightmares about it, but whenever she saw him appear in her dreams, all of her fear would eventually melt away for some reason. It was weird that she called the being who gave her misery, the reason why she lost everything that terrible day, and the one who could destroy her and her entire world with a single thought of his as her comfort. He always thought she was a fool to trust him and think of him that way, but deep inside, it made him glad that he could provide her that comfort and sense of safety. He hoped he really could always protect her and make her happy at all times while she stayed by his side.

…Despite knowing that he won't be able to do so being a God of Destruction himself.

"Let's go back to the hotel," he told her. She agreed with a nod. He took her hand in his, intertwining their fingers together as they walked side by side back to the parking lot where they left his car.

While Vegeta was driving back to the hotel, Bulma noticed his quiet behavior and she wondered what he was thinking about. At that moment, she wished she could hear his thoughts the way he could do with hers, too. She felt that was kind of unfair.

"Are you angry that I teased you earlier?" Bulma asked.

Vegeta looked back at her, finally distracted with those thoughts lingering in his chest for quite some time, "What?"

"Your earlier mood changed. Are you angry?"

"No," he denied, turning back his attention to the road.

"Then why are you being so quiet?"

"I was thinking about something."

"What are you thinking?"

Vegeta hesitated at first. He wouldn't want her to know that he was feeling upset about her earlier thoughts about her past and current life. He wasn't exactly mad at her for it, he can understand her frustrations. Mortals would feel that way after losing everything they had and it's only natural for them to blame others for their misery, even though they were indirectly meant for him. He was just unlike them when he was a mortal himself, that's why he reacted with such apathy after he lost his kingdom. What he was particularly furious about was the fact that it was because of him that she was feeling that way. It was because of him that Bulma felt that those girls at the hotel would mock her for losing everything. And he was also painfully aware that it was his fault.

"You mentioned earlier that those bitches only invited you to the hotel just to mock you. Why is that?" he asked.

"Well… Those three girls were egotistical brats. Since I met them during College, they were always trying to show off. Vanilla viewed me as a rival, she had a crush on Yamcha back then, so she's a bit jealous. Even though they're known bullies in the University, they didn't try to cross paths with me because my family was the richest in the world. They actually tried to befriend me because of that but I wasn't interested in them. I don't like them at all as much as they don't like me. After what happened and knowing their ego, I'm sure they will just mock me about what happened in my life and how my relationship with Yamcha didn't work out in the end. They made it look like they were inviting me for lunch, but I could tell."

"You weren't wrong about that, though," Vegeta told her.

"Wait–you knew?!"

"Do you think it was a coincidence that you met me there?"

"Yes, I thought you said you took on the President's identity."

"Yes, and that is to spite those friends of yours."

"Huh?"

"You should have seen how Saike Regin's daughter was seething with jealousy when she learned that I'm your boyfriend. If you only saw that, you would have laughed instead of gawking back at me like you had no idea what was going on."

"I knew it! Ugh! Those bitches never changed at all!" Bulma began to seethe.

"That's why we're going back there to take their ego down a notch," Vegeta declared, his voice suddenly cold. "I'll teach them a lesson they'll never forget. I won't let a mere trash mock the mortal I personally chose to decide the fate of this world without consequences."

Bulma suddenly became afraid of what he was planning to do. For some reason, she could perceive a dangerous evil aura coming out of him and this murderous behavior suddenly terrified her.

"Uh… Vegeta-sama, you don't have to do that, you know…" Bulma told him with a sheepish smile. For the first time, she called him with his proper honorific in her hopes of calming his destructive side down.

He turned his dilated magenta eyes to her, his face dark and looking deranged with that wide, creepy smile, "Or do you want me to destroy them now?" he suddenly asked her in an even colder and more detached tone.

"Vegeta-sama! You should take a hold of yourself! Please don't destroy them for my sake!" she panicked.

Bulma always thought that Vegeta was a tsundere kind of guy, and she would always find him rather cute whenever he acted like one. However, it was at this moment that she learned that there's also a possibility of him snapping into a yandere mode, and considering the intensely massive destructive power he held at his fingertips that's capable enough of destroying this entire Universe, she was aware that he won't have any problem killing anyone or annihilating anything for her sake.

"I have no idea what a tsundere or a yandere is, but yes, you were right about that," Vegeta told her. His earlier scary look was now calm and serious. "I already gave you my word, that I will do anything it takes to protect you no matter what. If anyone would dare hurt you or take you away from me, I will not hesitate to kill or destroy them."

"Ah yes, you did say that. But really, you don't need to kill or destroy weak and powerless humans for my sake. I'm fine," Bulma assured him with a sheepish smile.

"Fine," Vegeta relented. He blinked his eyes, the destructive reddish-purple glow of his irises fading back to their normal, onyx hue as his crazed, murderous side finally relaxed. He smiled at her in a kinder, genuine way and said, "Then consider my first offer. I will try to deal with them in the most human way possible so you could at least, have some pride in yourself. Those egotistical bitches won't match my ego after all."

"So, what exactly are you planning to do?"

Vegeta smirked impishly, "I'll show them what Ultra Ego means and what the secret behind being self-indulgent is like."

"Huh?"

"I can't believe this. Bulma has a boyfriend who's that hot and rich?" sneered Vanilla at his friends. Her expression was seething with intense indignation and jealousy.

"I think it's just a lie. They look like they're just acting like a real couple. I mean, Bulma did say she never heard of the Yonsei Group before, although she did mention she knows someone with that name. Is it possible that he hid his identity from her and that she just learned that he is the sole owner of the Yonsei Group just now? I mean, she seemed shocked when he introduced himself as the President."

"Whether he hid it from her or not, what kind of man would fall for a nobody like Bulma Briefs? This is really unbelievable and it's annoying me!" Vanilla snarled.

"I didn't believe it at first. But that man seems all too perfect to be true. I've never seen someone as charismatic and as powerful looking as him. It's like he's a king," Mocha said.

"If it's true that he owns the Yonsei Group, then yes, he could very well be a King," Vanilla agreed.

"Nah, he feels more like a true king than King Furry himself, haha," Mocha laughed. "I mean, look at this. Sky Restaurant is the most elite restaurant in the entire world! He made his reservation just a few minutes ago and it was given to him immediately, for us alone."

They were the only customers in this highly exclusive restaurant located on the top of the Sky Tower, aside from Vegeta Yonsei's assistant who was standing along with the restaurant's crew.

"Hey, don't you think that Mister Whis Key is single? He's my type," Mint whispered, eyeing the tall, silver haired, gentle-faced, and pale-skinned assistant.

"It seems so," Vanilla said. "Oh, there they are! Hey, over here!"

Three men entered the restaurant, all wearing expensive looking clothes their girlfriends forced them to wear. The way they all strolled right towards them made the women flinch in disgust at how gracelessly and thug-like that was compared to Vegeta's enigmatic royal walk.

"So we're here. What do you want with us now and you interrupted us mid-game in Portnight?" the haughty acting, red-headed man in the middle asked, annoyed.

"Go ahead and sit down here, Rocky!" Vanilla hissed at him.

"Ah, fine," all three boys sat next to their girlfriends. The boy with curly hair sat with Mint while the dark-skinned guy seated next to Mocha.

"So what are we doing here? Do you even have enough money to pay for this restaurant?" asked Mocha's boyfriend, Braun.

"We got invited by the owner of the Yonsei Group for lunch," Vanilla replied.

"Really?! The owner of the biggest corporate group in the world right now?!" Braun gasped.

"Yes. We ran into an old classmate in College and met him after we checked in the hotel. It turns out that he's Bulma's boyfriend."

"Eh?! Bulma Briefs?! The former heiress of Capsule Corporation?!" gasped Leiri, Mint's boyfriend. "Woah. I never thought of that. Maybe their relationship was more private because people would have known it by now if that was true."

"I know, right?" Vanilla sneered in disgust.

"Maybe they're just new in the relationship. People tend to be more private about that, after all, I don't think Yonsei-san has ever appeared in the media even once. It's the first time I'm seeing him."

"You have a point. I guess he was being careful not to reveal his identity in the media after what happened to Bulma Briefs' father who owned the Capsule Corporation three years ago," Mocha agreed.

"I think that's good to know. At least, Miss Briefs would have a better life if she married him," Leiri was pleased to know the good news.

Vanilla slammed her hand against the table and hissed back at him, "That's what I was thinking about! I think she's just after his money!"

"Thanks for waiting!"

They quickly shot their heads to the direction where Vegeta and Bulma appeared and their jaws dropped in unison as the two sauntered towards them, holding hands like a perfect, royal couple. He pulled away from her hand to pull out the chair on the right side of the seat at the far end of the table where Bulma sat down graciously. Vegeta sat on the end of the table next to her, showing that he was the master, the king, in here.

"Our apologies for taking time. To make it up to you, I will pay for everything. You may eat anything and as much as you want for free," he announced as he took the menu Whis handed out to him.

Bulma stared bewilderingly at the menu the waiter gave her, looking down at the expensive prices of the food, "Woah. I don't remember the food in this restaurant being this expensive the last time I ate here with my family. Did Whis use his magic to raise the prices?" she thought, eyeing the guide angel standing behind his master in the corner of her eyes.

Bulma felt Vegeta's tail wrap itself around her waist and she turned her wide eyes towards him.

He grinned when he saw that he finally got her attention and he took the menu off her hands, "Don't look at this useless thing, my beloved. You are only allowed to look at me," he said.

Bulma bared her teeth at him as if to tell him to stop that. He winked back at her. She cringed away from him.

" What?! He's acting like a real yandere!" she thought. "Scary… It's creepy… Please go back to your usual tsundere mode please. That's much cuter and more lovable."

Vegeta blinked at her innocently, "What the hell is she thinking about? What the hell is a yandere and a tsundere?" he asked, not understanding what she meant about that.

They ordered their food, with Vanilla and her companions shamelessly taking the most expensive of the dishes while Vegeta offered Bulma the food he heard through her thoughts that she missed eating here, and as expected of him, Vegeta would have his favorite Maguro Nigiri, something which made Vanilla and her friends giggle.

"Maguro Nigiri? Isn't that too common and too simple to eat for someone of your elite and esteemed status, Yonsei-san?" Vanilla asked.

"Why? Maguro Nigiri might be simple but it is my favorite food and I don't think there's anything wrong with that," Vegeta answered. There was a bit of annoyance in the way he replied.

"Does that also apply with how you feel about Bulma-san?"

This time, Vegeta's anger began to boil. His eyes abruptly glinted with cold rage, yet he tried to remain calm and composed as any businessman in a human society would. "What do you mean?" he asked her, his voice icy.

"I'm sure you're well aware that her name isn't as high and mighty in the corporate industry as she did three years ago. I mean, did you know what she had gone through? She is a nobody now and I bet she only accepted you because of your money."

Bulma suddenly yelled back, "Hey, Vanilla–!"

"–and? What about it?" Vegeta cut Bulma off to respond to Vanilla in a cold, detached tone. His ebony eyes pierced unto Vanilla like they were icicles. Bulma quickly turned to him, alarmed by the way his voice sounded. It was obvious to her how he's trying his best to be civil, holding back his anger as he defended her honor. Under the table, she put her left hand over his right lap, tapping him as if to tell him to calm down.

"Of course, I am well-aware of what happened to her, so what about it? And it's not my money or my flashy status or great name or these companies I own that she's after. It's something more than that. Whatever that is is none of your concern but it's something I think you should be thankful for. I would love to make that bet with you, but I doubt that you would want to pay the price I would demand from you."

The girls were confused. Vanilla was utterly left speechless and bewildered. Vegeta smirked, knowing that he managed to break through the pesky woman's ego one bit. They clearly had no idea that it was because of Bulma that they still continue to exist in his Universe and while he wanted to tell her that. he decided to hold back his tongue and turned to the server who approached him with a tray in hand full of their orders. His anger was quickly forgotten when the waiter put down a plate full of Maguro Nigiri in front of him.

"What do you mean by that, Yonsei-san?" asked Mint curiously.

Vegeta simply gave them a smile, "Oh... You might learn about it soon enough."

Vegeta turned to Bulma and took her plate of Millésime Côte de Boeuf to slice it for her as if he was a real gentleman. Bulma told him through her thoughts that he really didn't need to do that for her because she wasn't crippled but Vegeta responded telepathically that he's only doing this to rile up Vanilla's already seething rage and jealousy towards her.

"Aww… That's so sweet of you, my beloved. Thank you," Bulma told him with a smile as Vegeta returned her plate.

Mint and Mocha squealed at how sweet Bulma's boyfriend was. Braun was the first to act so he cleared his throat and took Mocha's steak to slice it for her. Leiri did the same with Mint's. Meanwhile, Vanilla awkwardly waited for Rocky to do the same with her, but her boyfriend obviously ignored her and proceeded with eating once he got his food. Vanilla kicked Rocky's ankle and gave him a portentous glare.

"Why?" Rocky complained. "You can do it yourself! You're not crippled, you know!"

Everyone stared at them both. In her annoyance, Vanilla excused herself to the restroom. Vegeta chuckled to himself, hearing Vanilla's seething thoughts about how angry she was towards everything Bulma does.

After lunch, they decided to return to the hotel. Vanilla, Mocha, Mint, Rocky, Braun, and Leiri would stay on executive suites on the sixth floor while Vegeta and Bulma would stay on the President's own suite located on the thirteenth floor.

While on the elevator, Vanilla, who was already [trying to be] in a better mood than earlier, suddenly asked, "By the way, Yonsei-san. We noticed that this hotel has a complete number of floors unlike most buildings in the area where there are no fourth or thirteenth floors, which many consider as deadly or bad luck. Why is that?"

"I don't believe in superstitions," Vegeta replied. "And to be fair, considering my name, the fourth floor is actually lucky for my business."

"Ooh," everyone nodded in awe.

"I see that you are not a very superstitious person," Vanilla continued.

"Aren't there stories about how these floors are haunted by ghosts or something along those lines?" asked Rocky.

"Who knows? As far as I know, I am the only one my employees feared the most," Vegeta replied with a menacing smile. "Although, Whis once told me that he's been hearing a few rumors that a bloodthirsty demonic monster shows itself on the fourth floor during the witching hour."

The boys suddenly got excited. "Ooh! This could become a good content for my new vlog! I mean, do you mind us doing some ghost hunting around here?" Braun asked.

"Do what you want. But if you put yourself in any danger, the Yonsei Group won't be responsible for your recklessness."

"Great! Knowing that makes me want to play some games tonight…" Mocha murmured. "I know! Guys, why don't we play a truth or dare game tonight?" she suddenly suggested. "Truth is the typical rule, but if one chooses to dare, he or she must play a paranormal game or a ritual from Chillypasta!"

"That sounds exciting!" everyone except Bulma and Vegeta agreed.

"We will start before midnight, alright? Are you two up for it?" Vanilla asked.

Vegeta and Bulma simply stared at them, looking like they weren't sure about joining them. The boys laughed.

"Oh come on, guys. By the looks on your faces, you seem scared," laughed Rocky.

"Not really," Vegeta replied. "But aren't there supposed to be dire consequences or hefty prices to pay when playing such dangerous games?"

"And here I thought you said you aren't superstitious?"

"I'm not," Vegeta cleared.

"Then what are you so afraid of? It's just a game. You don't think that if we play the elevator game right now, we are going to be transported into another dimension, or if we summoned the God of Destruction, someone will appear to destroy us all, right?"

Vegeta grinned at that. Nobody noticed his sudden change of mood during the midst of that conversation.

"Speaking of that Urban Legend… the one with the God of Destruction. That one has become a trending topic again these past few days since the fire during the Dark Destroyers' concert. Do you believe that a God of Destruction is truly responsible for what happened there?" Mocha asked.

"That has been debunked already. The survivors said that it was Yami Shimono's doing. Even the investigators supported that claim," Mint said.

"Nah, I don't believe that shit. Because if it did, how come Yami didn't survive and Hikari did?" Braun exclaimed. "The theory is that the other survivor, Miho, made a contract with the God of Destruction to save Hikari by wishing for Yami to be destroyed. Miho and Hikari are best friends so it made sense."

"Hey Vanilla, that urban legend is also associated with what happened to your dad, right?" asked Rocky.

"How many times do I have to tell you that my father took his own life?" Vanilla sneered in irritation. "Also, let's not talk about that, okay? Be more sensitive about me and Bulma-san!" she angrily slapped her boyfriend's shoulder, causing Rocky to turn to Bulma's direction to mutter an apology for his snarky remarks. Bulma simply looked away with a frown and saw that Vegeta was peering at her in the corner of his eyes as if he was silently observing her behavior.

"I guess we must include that ritual to summon the God of Destruction among the list tonight. It would be exciting to know if this is true or not," Braun suggested.

"If the legend is true, then I hope I'll be the one to pick it up. I always wanted to get rid of someone who annoys me so much," Vanilla said through her gritted teeth.

Bulma turned to Vanilla, looking at her as if she had lost her mind. Vegeta's observant gaze at her lifted as he looked at Vanilla with the same look. He took Bulma's hand as if to comfort her and silently tell her that it will be alright.

"Fine," Vegeta suddenly agreed. "Bulma and I will participate in this game. Let's do this in the Fourth Floor lobby tonight. I'm sure that it should be a fitting place for playing such paranormal games. I'm curious about this story as well. I also suggest the use of a lie detector device for those who would choose truth. If one is detected lying, they must do a consequence, which is to do a dare."

"That's a good suggestion, Yonsei-san! I think that would make the game more exciting!" Mocha squealed happily.

"Very well. I will provide the polygraph device. I'll bring it with me when we meet tonight."

The bell-like sound of the elevator echoed and the doors slid open. An artificial intelligence female voice announced that they are on the Sixth floor where Vanilla and her friends were checked in.

"Alright. That's settled then! We'll see you on the fourth floor before midnight!"

The elevator door closed. Even as they left, Vegeta could hear Vanilla's angry thoughts about Bulma and how everything she does has annoyed her since their College days.

"Hey Vegeta, why did you suddenly agree with that? I mean, if we play those games, are we going to be safe? I don't know which among those games and rituals are true or not, but…" Bulma asked.

"Most that's written in that cursed website have an origin of some sorts. Some were true, some were exaggerated, some were meant to summon something that shouldn't be brought into the mortal realm, while others can break through dimensions between another world or within Meido and Jigoku. Don't worry though, no creatures of darkness would dare cross my way. So even if the rituals were true, they won't get their way so long as I am with you. Unless they want to provoke the wrath of the God of Destruction and suffer the consequences of a divine destructive punishment."

"Yeah. You're right about that," Bulma agreed. "But you know, about what Vanilla said just now–"

"Don't worry about that. I am the God of Destruction, I decide through my judgment whether I destroy something or not. I have chosen you to help me decide the fate of this world. You and Maguro Nigiri are the reasons why humanity and this world still exists in my Universe. As I told you earlier, I am doing my own proper observation right now, which is why I'm here, so I can be with you more. You will be safe, I promise."

Those words provided her some relief. That's right. There's no place safer anywhere in the Universe but within the territory of the most powerful among the Gods of Destruction. She held his hand and she leaned her head against his shoulder.

"I don't exactly know why you're suddenly doing these nice things to me, but… Thank you, Vegeta, for showing me this good side of yours," Bulma told him with a grateful smile.

"Hmph! You're just lucky that this happened now that I can decide what to destroy or not. Back then, I couldn't care less whether my contractees or my targets were good or evil, or who the victim or the tormentor was. All that matters to me is strength. Strength is everything and I believe that life in this world is the survival of the fittest. If one can't keep up to my standards, then they should not exist in my Universe. This was my way of thinking, especially back when the Seventh Universe used to be the lowest Universe in rank, I had to do my job in order for me and my Universe to become the best and most powerful among the twelve Universes, even if it means mercilessly destroying the weak and the innocent."

"Even when I first met you, you still believed in that," Bulma said. "I wonder though, if you think about it now, how do you feel about it?"

Vegeta's eyes narrowed. He remembered there was this one time when a girl named Mirim, summoned him. The darkness in her heart intrigued him because it reminded him of his own. She was a narcissistic teenager, who was kind of similar to Chiaki Sanjou, but worse. She wanted him to get rid of another girl, a classmate of hers, Lisa, a quiet, timid girl suffering from being mentally challenged. Mirim, along with her friends, bullied Lisa every day for being 'abnormal' as she called it. Mirim made Vegeta remember the times when he was a mortal when he used to bully the weak and saw them as nothing but worthless pests in his sight. Due to his annoyance of them existing, he had cruelly destroyed them slowly and painfully, taking sadistic pleasure in their agony as he slowly showed them and mocked them for how powerless they were. Growing up under Beerus and Whis' guidance somehow changed Vegeta, so when Mirim agreed to the contract, he gave Lisa the mercy by making her destruction as quick and painless as possible. However, recalling Lisa's cries for help and his mercy knowing that he was there to end her existence made him think about it now.

"You were supposed to be on my side, not the other way around! Why? Why am I the one who's going to be destroyed? I did nothing wrong!"

Back then, he just simply didn't care. It was his job to destroy no matter what. But even Whis questioned his judgment after he ignored her pleas and cries of betrayal, and just as how he answered his guide angel when the latter asked him about his judgment with the Namekians, he simply replied with a detached tone:

"It doesn't matter. This is my job. She should be honored that she will be a sacrifice to this Universe's evolution."

Despite his emotionless response, deep inside, Vegeta's heart roared with utter frustration. This was the same feelings he had when he thought about the victims of his purges as a Saiyan invader. He knew these people didn't deserve what he did to them, yet he had to do his job if he wanted to survive, or in his case as a God of Destruction, if he wished to rid of the cursed voices of his people's torment in his head back then. But he was chained, bound to his duties by force. These made him immediately proceed with taking Mirim's existence, taking delight with destroying her slowly and painfully as his divine punishment. It was at this moment that Vegeta realized how cursed his existence was. Unless he found a way to either rid his heart of his feelings, or get rid of the voices completely, he must keep on destroying no matter what. He had endured more than a thousand years, gathered his strength until it was enough for him to break free from the chains that bound him to his damned duties.

Now, he was finally free. Yes, he's still the God of Destruction, but he can now freely choose which to destroy according to his divine judgment, whether he feels like it or not.

The elevator door opened and Vegeta and Bulma walked out of it to proceed to the President's personal suit. He didn't answer Bulma's question at first, making her think that maybe it really wasn't her place to question him about that. She found that Whis was already waiting for them at the door, and he opened the door for his master and Bulma to enter.

Inside the President's personal suit was actually the living room within Vegeta's dark castle which Bulma was so familiar with. He propped down on his throne-like chair and pointed at a door, "I'm sure you know where that door leads to, right?" he asked with a smirk.

Bulma blinked, confused at first. Then she realized that he must be talking about her apartment. She grinned from ear to ear, happily squealing, she proceeded to the door to take a peek at her apartment from there. She saw the paper bags she left on the car earlier sitting on the table.

"Come here, Bulma," he told her. She strode back to him. He held her hand and pulled her closer to him.

"You asked me earlier what I feel about the innocent souls I destroyed back then. I believe that it doesn't matter anymore. Those souls served their purpose as sacrifices to my goal in becoming Number One. It doesn't change the fact that they were to be destroyed in the end. The least I could do to give justice to their destruction was to immediately end the contract by destroying the target as soon as I'm done with them."

She gently caressed his face with her free hand when she saw the shame and regret he had on his eyes. She knew he didn't want her to pity him now, that was all in the past. What mattered now is that he is already a changed man.

"I know you had it in you right from the start. But I never thought you'd go this far just to make it up with me. I'm glad that we're all good and well now. I wish we could be more like this everyday."

"Yeah…" he agreed. "Although I can't say the same for your foolish little friends though. I absolutely hate it when one does my summoning ritual just for the sake of fun or wasting my time. And I'm sure the rest of the demons and evil spirits involved with other rituals won't take it lightly too. So long as I am around, I doubt they will come to harm anyone, but I'm sure that once I leave, they will start hunting down whoever summons them if the human makes even the slightest mistake. So it's not actually advisable for mortals to play such games. I tried warning them but they took it lightly. I say let them suffer the consequences of their foolishness if that's what would take their ego down. That's why I agreed for us to join. To make sure that they will pay for their actions."

It was 11:45 pm and Rocky, Brown, and Leiri were setting up vlogging gears directly to their chosen spot in the open space on the fourth floor. Video cameras with night vision features, light setups, and lapels. Vanilla, Mint, and Mocha were busy preparing some of the materials required in eight different paranormal games and rituals, such as paper, pen, pencils, scissors, cutter, a small dagger, salt, candles, matches, even chairs and full length mirrors they borrowed from the hotel with permission from Whis. Mocha was busy writing down a list of rituals with their instructions she would later cut down, roll and tie with a string and collect them inside a small box where players who chose dare would pick later.

Vegeta and Bulma arrived there together, with Whis following them with a portable lie detector device sold by the Yonsei Tech Group in hand. A round-shaped polygraph device that looked like a toy and can send slight electric shock in case a subject was lying. During the set up, the men tested the device just to make sure it was working well and they laughed when Leiri pulled his hand away after being shocked.

At midnight, everybody gathered around sitting on the floor in a circle. Rocky began his live vlog and started to share what this was all about, explaining where they are, who were their special guests, and the rules of the truth or dare game. Bulma took a peek on her phone to see Rocky's live video, only to be shocked that both Vegeta and Whis' appearance on the video were completely different from their actual looks. The God of Destruction appeared as a young and handsome dark-haired human male in his late twenties he could be mistaken as a model, while Whis looked like a tall but gorgeous silver-haired man with a gentle, almost womanly look on him. She tapped on Vegeta's arm and showed him the video, he chuckled as he responded to her telepathically, "Hmm… I think the Kawaru technique is working perfectly now. Good."

The game began when Rocky spun a water bottle on the center where everyone gathered in a circle. Vanilla and her friends clapped and roared in excitement as the bottle spun several times until it gradually halted with its cap pointing at the games first contestant, Mint, then Leiri who chose to do dares, then Mocha and Braun chose the truth in which they confessed something they're hiding from one another, and Rocky, who chose to do dare. Mint picked 'Read Tokino Jigoku poem out loud, a piece of poetry said to curse the reader to die within a week, Leiri led the Square Game in which he chose Bulma, Vegeta, and Vanilla as the other players to play with him this cursed game inside a room with four corners. Once that was over, Leiri picked 'the Meira-san' game that's similar to the Western Bloody Mary, and finally, Rocky did the Hide and Seek with Nightman game where he was supposed to play a solo Hide and Seek Game with an evil entity.

All the games failed to work for some reason despite them following the proper rules, not knowing that the mighty presence of the God of Destruction was interfering with the workings of the rituals.

Finally, after what seemed like three hours of disappointment, the bottle spin finally stopped in Vegeta's direction.

"Our sixth contestant is our special guest for tonight's video, Vegeta Yonsei-san!" Rocky declared. "First of all, we would like to thank you for allowing us to do this special live content tonight and for giving us your time to join us in this game."

"Nah, don't mention it. I was only here to see if the rumors about those rituals listed among the dares were true, that's all. Turns out that all of them are disappointments."

"I see. Well, we shall see in the next dare whether it is true or not for ourselves. So, Yonsei-san, is it a truth or a dare?"

"Truth or dare! Truth or dare! Truth or dare! Truth or dare!"

"What else? Dare, of course!" Vegeta huffed haughtily.

"Woah! You're a brave one, sir! Please go on and pick one game from the Box of Dares over here…"

Vegeta took the box, shook it, and picked out a rolled piece of paper from it. He pulled the string attached to it and unfurled the paper, reading whatever was written on it. He showed Bulma the paper and grinned mischievously, saying, "See that?"

Bulma looked at him in awe as he surrendered the paper to Rocky, who announced the dare game. "It's Hakaishin-sama Onegaishimasu or the Ritual to summon the God of Destruction!"

"Ooooh!"

In the corner, Vanilla sneered in annoyance and disappointment. Now her chance to do that ritual to eliminate Bulma in this world is now over.

Rocky turned to his camera, speaking to the audience, "This is one of the most popular rituals right now and the most controversial and intriguing one, if I must say. If you guys heard of the news about the fire that happened during the Dark Destroyers' concert or have seen that viral video of the Massacre of the Pepper Village three years ago or have watched any of Jun Maeda or Yami Shimono's videos, this ritual should be familiar to you. It is said that if you wish to have someone disappear from your life forever, you can summon the God of Destruction during the hour of total darkness or the witching hour, specifically at 3:15 in the morning and pray for him to destroy that someone you wish to get rid off your life. It is said that if he hears your prayer, the God of Destruction will appear before you and he will offer you a contract in which he will do your wish and will eliminate that person you hate the most from their existence, but of course, in exchange for your own soul. So, Yonsei-san, do you have someone you would want for the God of Destruction to destroy for you?"

Leiri tapped his Braun's shoulder and showed him the comments flooding in their live video in licomico. One particular comment said: Did you just say that the President of the Yonsei Group is named Vegeta Yonsei?

Vegeta Yonsei? Where have I heard that name before? Another user responded.

Everyone knows the name of the Elite Yonsei Group but this is the first time I've heard of the full name of the president.

This is also the first time he decided to show himself in any media.

Waaah! He looks so cool!

Did you just say that he is Bulma Briefs' current boyfriend? She's so lucky. I'm so jealous.

Vegeta Yonsei… Where have I heard that name before?

Then someone with a username of keisakai33 commented: "It's the same name as the one associated with the God of Destruction."

What?

Ah! Yes! Yami did mention that in one of his vlogs, too! I think he even called out the same name during his concert, moments before the fire!

Really?

Was it a coincidence that the President of the Elite Yonsei Group picked up the ritual to summon the God of Destruction?

Braun and Leiri raised their eyes to stare back at Vegeta, who was looking in their direction with what it seemed like an evil smile.

"I do," Vegeta answered Rocky's question.

"Really? Who? Is it from a rival company or someone else?"

Vegeta turned his eyes to Bulma and chuckled, "I was told that some people looked down on my beloved following the tragic events of the Pepper Village Massacre. I think I would want those kind of people eliminated from their existence."

Was that a threat? Bulma thought.

"You're really in-love with her, huh? You're such a sweet, protective guy," Mint teased.

Vegeta proceeded to do the ritual in front of everyone, taking out a cutter to slice the tip of his finger and letting his blood drop into a floor. He closed his eyes and chanted, "Please, Hakaishin-sama, hear my prayer," repeatedly.

While he was doing so, the fluorescent lights above them begin to flicker, a cold gust of wind blew around them, and the door not far away from them slammed repeatedly as the floor seemed to shake underneath them. Rocky grinned exultantly at what they are experiencing right now, while Vanila, Mint, Mocha, Braun, and Leiri huddled together in fear, asking themselves what's happening.

"Guys! Look at this! Do you see this? It seems like something is finally happening!" Rocky declared.

Vegeta uttered a few unintelligible words that nobody understood, but it could be translated from the divine language as an imperious command, 'Play with them for a minute, but do not ever harm them. I want you to show them what fear is as my punishment for their foolish actions. That is an order from the God of Destruction, and if you do them more harm than necessary, I will destroy you myself!'

He was addressing whatever the dare-doers summoned during their rituals. Demons or spirits who crowded together in the corner of the room in fear of the presence of the destroyer deity, creatures the humans had no idea were present since they did their specific rituals.

After that, the lights shut down completely as if there was a total blackout, signifying that it's time to do the God of Destruction's terrifying order. Utterly confused at what just occurred, Vanilla and her friends looked around. Vegeta and Bulma were gone.

"What happened? Where are Yonsei-san and Bulma-san?" asked Mint.

"Does this mean that the God of Destruction took them somewhere? It must be true, right? Yonsei-san would have met the God of Destruction by now!"

"Woah! I can't believe it! The Urban Legend about the God of Destruction must be true!"

Rocky turned to his camera, which could have caught the events that took place. He started to talk to his audience about what happened, and showed them that there were no signs of Vegeta or even Bulma anywhere around them. However, Braun and Leiri who were checking on their phones for the comments were still baffled at the fact that some of their viewers were telling them to run away.

"Rock, we've been reading some of your comments here and some are saying that Yonsei-san has the same name as the God of Destruction. What does that even mean?" Leiri asked.

"Really?"

"Hmm… come to think of it… I think I heard that name somewhere before," Mocha muttered.

"They said that it was the same name Yami Shimono called out before he died."

They checked on the video of the said last concert of the Dark Destroyers and there they found out that in his last moments, Yami Shimono did call for someone whose name was also Vegeta Yonsei, asking him to destroy this world for him, before he started screaming in agony.

"It must be some kind of coincidence. Anyways, shall we continue?"

While they were about to restart playing the truth or dare game, something caught Vanilla's attention. She saw a shadow figure with what looked like flame-shaped hair and pinkish red eyes peering at them through the darkness not far away from them.

"Uhm… Rocky. What is that?" she asked her boyfriend anxiously.

"What?" Rocky asked with a disgruntled tone, pointed the camera at where his girlfriend was pointing. "There's nothing there, Vanilla."

"No," Vanilla whispered to him. "Someone–or something rather, is staring at us."

Everyone looked at her and then turned their eyes to where she was pointing. However, no one else can see what she was seeing.

"It must be your imagination. Are you feeling guilty just because Yonsei-san said he would want anyone who hates Bulma-san erased from existence?"

"I'm not!"

Sensing that something sinister moved within the blackness, Vanilla looked back over her shoulder with a terrified gasp. It was there that she noticed that the terrifying creature was getting closer to her. It looked like a rabid, bloodthirsty monster to her. A bloodcurdling, growling sound seemed to emanate from its seemingly chiseled chest. Was that a demonic monkey beast?

Vanilla hitched in fright, stumbling towards her friends and grabbing Rocky's arm. Her face obviously stricken with utter horror. Rocky turned to her, quite annoyed, before he harshly pulled his arm away from her grasps.

"Vanilla! Stop this, would you?! You know we're currently on live right now," he hissed at her ear.

They heard a wooden door creak open and they turned to see another shadowy figure of what was known as the Midnight Man. When they realized what that thing was, they quickly ran away in fright, trying to escape the evil entity chasing them.

"Candle! Candle! Light up the candle! Hurry!" Mint screamed as they rummaged through their things in panic. Lighting up a candle within a certain amount of time is the way to end the game with the Midnight Man. However, the creature was approaching them closer and closer. They began to panic when they realized that the Midnight Man wasn't alone. And as the beings of darkness loomed closer to them, the girls began to scream as they pressed themselves against their boyfriends' bodies.

The lights suddenly flickered on and everybody looked up with squinted eyes to stare up at the bright fluorescence in the ceiling. Those monsters seemed to evaporate from the light as if it burned them. Vegeta and Bulma returned to the room, much to everyone's surprise.

"Where did you go? Did you meet the God of Destruction?" Rocky asked Vegeta, his voice shaking.

"What do you mean? Bulma and I went to the nearest fuse box to fix the flickering lights," Vegeta told them.

"You scared us! I thought you disappeared out of thin air and met the God of Destruction!"

"Tch! Do you actually think a God of Destruction will really appear before me? Don't be ridiculous," Vegeta huffed, repeating Rocky's words in the elevator just now. "By the way, what the hell happened to you? Why do you all look so pale?"

They simply stared at each other before Rocky snapped out of his fear and laughed. "Hah! Of course, I was only kidding! Anyways, let's continue with the game, shall we?"

Vanilla was staring at Vegeta suspiciously. Did something just change in him? Why does he suddenly look different to her? Also, that hair…

"By the way, Yonsei-san, we're receiving some comments in the vlog saying that you have the same name as the one associated with the God of Destruction. Isn't that a good coincidence?" asked Braun.

"Ah… Really? Now I think I know why my employees seem to fear me," Vegeta smiled.

"Yes, yes! It must be a good coincidence!" Bulma agreed with an awkward grin.

They gathered around in a circle once more, and the bottle began to spin, ending with its cap pointing at

"Our seventh player is Vanilla! Is it a truth or a dare?"

"Truth or dare! Truth or dare!"

Traumatized by what she just experienced within the closed space that Vegeta temporarily sent them during the ritual to summon the God of Destruction, she willingly chose the one thing she knew she thought would be easier for her.

"Truth!" she declared.

"Okay. Since you chose the truth, it will be the previous player, Vegeta Yonsei-san's turn to ask questions. Vanilla, proceed to the lie detector device and place your hand on the top of it. You are to answer three questions and if you are detected lying in any of your answers, you are required to do a dare game."

Vanilla walked towards the device and hesitantly put her hand against the top of the polygraph device. Vegeta stood in front of her, observing her fearful actions.

Suddenly, Vanilla pulled her hand away from the device and declared, "I can't… I can't do this anymore. I'm sorry."

"Why? Don't be such a party pooper. We haven't even started yet and here you are already avoiding the questions. That won't be fair for everyone here," Vegeta grinned impishly at her.

"He's right. Don't be such a coward, Vanilla," Rocky urged her.

"Fine," Vanilla muttered with a roll of her eyes. "Let's just get this stupid game over with."

Vegeta chuckled, "Right. First question: You are the only daughter of Saike Regin, right?"

"Yes."

"Second question: Earlier, you did mention that your father took his own life. If you truly believe that a God of Destruction doesn't exist, then why do you want to summon him to get rid of someone who annoys you?"

"I just… I was just curious, that's all. I don't believe in urban legends! But if there was a way for me to make someone disappear from this world, I would gladly take a risk."

"Ohh… I see. Now, for the third question: Do you know how exactly your father died?"

"He shot himself. There was a viral video of him shooting himself with the sniper he was holding in his hand."

Suddenly, the room just darkened and then, it was only Vanilla and Vegeta who were in the room. Everyone else seemed to vanish around them. Vanilla noticed this and she uncomfortably pulled her hand away from the lying detector device, direly wondering what just happened.

"And do you believe that the reason why he took his own life was because the Briefs made him do it? Is that why your hatred towards Bulma only grew and you want to get rid of her?" Vegeta suddenly asked. She quickly looked back at him, glaring at him fiercely.

"Hey, you only have three questions!" she roared at him.

Vegeta smirked an amused one, "I know, but I don't usually obey the rules of the game. I have my own rules and I control the game now."

Vanilla sensed that something about Vegeta just changed and she unexpectedly felt something within her chest jolt, making her gasp in trepidation. She suddenly stepped back from him, asking him carefully, "What do you mean?"

"You chose truth, right? Then I shall reveal the truth to you. I am Vegeta Yonsei, the God of Destruction, the deity responsible for death and devastation of all that exists in this Universe."

"You..? You are the God of Destruction?" Vanilla asked.

"I've been sensing your desire to destroy Bulma Briefs, just as much as how your father wished to destroy Trunks Briefs. Three years ago, Saike Regin made a contract with me in his desire to kill and destroy Trunks Briefs by his own hands. He was a coward and lacked the will to do so, that's why he made a deal with me to give him that will by allowing me to manipulate his dark desire for destruction. However, he abused that will I gave him and killed not just Doctor Briefs, but all the people in the Pepper Village. Because of that, I had to step in and punish him for his foolishness.

"Yes, he did shoot himself after he massacred all those humans, but it was I who pushed him to do so. It was easy for me to manipulate the darkness within mortals' hearts, and I used that to bestow him the divine punishment for incurring the God of Destruction's wrath and throw his soul into the deepest pits of hell where he continues to suffer for all eternity for the sins he had committed according to my divine judgment."

Vanilla stared at him, completely stunned by his revelation as if he had suddenly grown a second head right before her eyes. Vegeta could tell that she wasn't believing anything he was telling her. Normally, he would show off his powers just to prove her who and what he was, but he decided to just let her be, for now.

"You don't believe me, do you?" he asked her with a devilish smirk. "Fine, believe what you want. Just leave Bulma alone and I will let you be. Don't follow your foolish father's steps, woman, or you might just end up incurring the wrath of the God of Destruction as well. And I promise you, you wouldn't want to see that," he warned her. He snapped his fingers in the air and then suddenly, the darkness got sucked out by a flash of blinding light.

In reality, everybody was staring at Vegeta and Vanilla as they stared at each other silently. It was as if they suddenly froze there for maybe, like five seconds until Vanilla blinked her eyes and shook her head as if to snap herself out of her ridiculous thoughts or daydreaming. Vegeta simply turned away with a cold demeanor and walked back to where Bulma was. Vanilla stared at him, addled as she tried to make sense of what just happened. Was she imagining things just now?

Before Rocky could continue the game with their last player, Bulma, Vegeta suddenly cut in and called for a break. He said that he suddenly got hungry and everyone also agreed so the boys decided to get something for them to eat. They agreed to buy a box of Boneless Fried Chicken in a nearby 24-hour Fried Chicken restaurant and a few drinks at the convenience store. Confident that it's safe to leave Bulma with the girls now, Vegeta decided to join the boys so he could choose his food. With them gone, the girls decided to wait.

Mint and Mocha noticed that Vanilla's earlier mood had changed so they asked her what was wrong. Vanilla ignored their questions as she gazed at Bulma suspiciously, wondering if Bulma knew something about Vegeta's true nature or if she ever summoned him. Vanilla suddenly realized that she left her phone in their room so she asked Bulma to accompany her, telling her that she wanted to speak with her alone about her boyfriend.

Vanilla left Mint and Mocha confused while Bulma hesitantly followed Vanilla to the elevator.

Vanilla pressed the fourth floor button. Bulma raised an eyebrow at her. Why was Vanilla pressing that? They're already on the fourth floor.

"Whoops, sorry," Vanilla uttered shakily with a forced smile, pressing the button for the second floor instead.

"So, tell me how you and Yonsei-san met each other," Vanilla urged her.

Bulma looked back at her with an odd look, "Huh? I met him in the Pepper Village once during one of our donation drives," she replied.

"Really? What's he doing there? Oops, I forgot, I should be pressing six," Vanilla uttered.

"I don't know. I believe he just passed by. I accidentally bumped into him."

"Oh, really?"

"Yeah."

"That's such an odd first meeting, huh? When did you start dating him then?"

"After Yamcha and I broke up. I found him in my house the following day, saying that he was there because I accidentally called him. I had no idea what he was talking about. I was too drunk to remember," Bulma was saying, Vanilla laughed at that. She pressed the second floor button instead of going out once they've reached the sixth floor.

"Hey, why didn't we get out of the sixth floor? Aren't you guys staying there?" Bulma suddenly asked.

"Huh? I just remembered I forgot it on the second floor. We were there this afternoon, you see," Vanilla said. "So, what happened after that?"

Bulma stared at Vanilla suspiciously when they reached the second floor. She thought that Vanilla would be getting out, but hesitated for some reason, before she pressed the button on the fifth floor.

"Earlier, Yonsei-san felt a little strange to me. I don't know if it was because Leiri and Braun read the comments in Rocky's live vlog saying that he has the same name as the God of Destruction, but during our game of truth or dare, something changed within him. Tell me, are you aware of his true identity?"

Bulma awkwardly chuckled, "What are you saying? That he's the God of Destruction?"

"Don't play dumb with me now. How did you manage to get his favor?"

Bulma smiled sheepishly at her, playing ignorant, "I don't know what you're talking about…"

The elevator door opened and Vanilla suddenly pushed Bulma against the right wall, she hissed at her to keep quiet, clamping her hands over the anxious blue-haired woman's mouth when Bulma was about to demand what she was doing to her, "Shh… Quiet down," Vanilla ordered her with a wicked smile. "We are now playing the elevator game. At this point, no matter what you do, don't you ever look back nor say a word until I say so."

"What?! Elevator Game?!" Bulma thought. She believed she heard about this game on the news about a woman who disappeared for several days and was said to be playing this game. The woman was later found dead inside a water tank, which according to investigators, was impossible to access. So that's why Vanilla was pressing random numbers in the elevator panel.

"I'm so sorry for dragging you into this, Bulma-san. But if you want to survive, you should do what I say."

"Are you crazy?!" Bulma wanted to say.

"Now, matter what happens, if you feel a woman enter, do not look nor speak. Do you understand?"

Bulma nodded fiercely. Vanilla told her to face the wall and she did. Suddenly, the lights within the elevator began to flicker and they sensed that someone, or something, walked inside the elevator, but for some reason, the unknown presence felt incredibly malevolent to Bulma. Vanilla slowly reached out to press the button on the first floor.

The elevator unexpectedly blasted upwards instead of going down to the first floor. Vanilla began to curse and cry out incessantly as she randomly pressed any button on the elevator. Bulma thought that despite her plan, Vanilla never expected for this to happen.

The elevator door opened when it finally reached the tenth floor.

Vanilla and Bulma peeked out. Outside the elevator looked like a crimson-dyed world, which made Bulma think if it was some sort of closed space. Both girls hesitated to step out of the elevator for a while, then suddenly a distorted female voice from the unknown entity suddenly asked them, "Where are you going?"

Bulma and Vanilla screamed in horror.

Vegeta halted his steps when he sensed that something just went utterly wrong. He was walking on the sidewalk, holding two boxes of boneless fried chicken in each hand. Rocky, Braun, and Leiri were busy laughing and talking to each other to notice his sudden change in demeanor.

He turned away from the loud boys and left the two boxes of food on the streets as he leapt into the sky and landed on the top of one of the four skyscrapers of the Yonsei Hotel.

"Whis! What the hell just happened?!" he harshly hissed. Whis appeared next to him out of thin air.

"What do you mean, milord?" his guide angel asked. Vegeta turned his fierce glare towards Whis angrily, what does he mean by that?

"Didn't you sense what just happened?! Bulma just disappeared again in this world and along with Vanilla Regin! And it's not just her ki just like last time..! It's–!" Vegeta shouted.

Whis blinked at him, puzzled. "–Bulma Briefs? Vanilla Regin? Who are you talking about?"

Vegeta stared at Whis in utter disbelief. What the hell is happening here?
