U.A's Pirate King
Youth can be a trying time, for anyone growing up. Especially in this day and age of heroes and villains, with 80% of the population possessing some uncanny power, known as a Quirk, while the minority of the population, were known as Quirkless. Life was especially hard for those in the minority. Those with Quirks, always looking down upon those in the minority, treating them as less then human.
Life was especially hard, for one Quirkless orphan, who spent every waking moment running in fear for his life. At the current moment, he was running through the suicide forest, having been dragged there by some local bullies from his school, and were using him as target practice for their Quirks.
The young battered, and beaten child was running for his life along the path, a limp in his step as he was running away from his abusers.
"There he is." One of the bullies called out.
The boy looked behind him, before he turned back to face forward, limping down the path. As he continued on, he cried out in pain, falling forward before gripping his shoulder, as something sharp came flying through the air, and cut it. Looking up over his shoulder, the young boy had no time to think, and without realizing it, ran off the trail the instant he was back on his feet.
Running into the forest, he looked back, as more projectiles were sent flying for him, noticing how the bullies refused to follow him off the beaten path. He didn't stop, even as the projectiles were no longer able to reach him, he continued running. It wasn't until much, much later that he finally stopped. The sun had already begun to set, the young boy was tired, and bleeding out.
"I finally… lost them…" He huffed, leaning against a tree.
Looking around, the young boy couldn't help but feel like he'd made a huge mistake, and would have had a better chance standing up to his bullies, instead of surviving the Suicide Forest.
"It's okay Kami, you've been in tighter spots with your teachers locking you in the gym supplies shed." He told himself, crouching down, and hugging his legs close to him.
Leaning back into the roots of the tree, Kami tried swallowing his fear. He was scared, but it wasn't like the orphanage hadn't done anything like this before. Leaning hard against the roots of the tree, Kami's eyes widened when he heard cracking, and the trunk of the three behind him fell. This sudden absence of solidarity to support him, took the child by surprise, before he found himself rolling back down a tunnel, with multiple sharp rocks and roots cutting his arms, legs, and face. The role continued on for what felt like a while, but was close to a minute, resulting in him landing on the ground with a heavy thud.
"Ow." He groaned, before reaching up and feeling his cheek. Bringing it down, Kami looked at his palm, and saw blood had pooled there. "Oh no."
The boy was starting to get worried now. He didn't know the first thing about first aid, outside of applying Neosporn and a bandage. Getting up on shaky legs, Kami looked around the dark cavern. Surprisingly, it was well lit with what looked like natural light on the end ceiling. Taking two steps forward, Kami was in awe that something like this, could be under the root systems of the Suicide Forest. The child stopped however, when he saw the frightening sight of a skeleton, with an afro, wearing a dusty old suit, with a top hat, and a violin case in its arms, just sitting there, with a purple cane against its shoulder.
Kami was freaked out by the sight of the skeleton, but then his eyes traveled up to what the skeleton was leaning against, and his eyes widened, as he gasped in awe at what he saw.
Behind the skeleton, there were nine pedestals, each of them with their own totems on them, but none of the writing on the pedestals were eligible anymore. On the farthest left, there was what looked like a ships helm wheel, with a tattered kimono behind it. The pedestal next to it, had a big round green hat, with a pink front and lip, and a white X on the forehead part. The third had a bag, with a large slingshot leaning against the front of the pedestal.
The fourth pedestal had three katanas leaning against it, with what looked like a golden piercing hanging from each of the hilt guards. The fifth and center pedestal, as well as the biggest, had what looked like a captain's cloak, as well as a jolly roger with a straw hat, hanging from a flag pole. The pedestal after that, had what looked like a golden rod with a grip, resting on top of it, and a dead tree of some sort behind it.
The seventh pedestal, had a chef's hat, and a well taken care of chefs cleaver in front of the hat. The pedestal next to it, had a stack of old looking books, with glasses resting on the top of the stack, and seemingly spotless. The ninth and final pedestal, had a pair of robotic pink and blue hands, with what looked like a star design on the both when pressed together.
"These… look like grave memorials." Kami said, before noticing the skeletons slouch, and cautiously stepped around the skeleton, to see it was leaning against a chest in front of the middle pedestal. "Please forgive me for what I am about to do."
Kami carefully reached for the chest, and gripping one of the handles, pulled hard on it, surprisingly pulling the chest free from behind the skeleton, allowing for the being made of bones to lean against the actual grave memorial. The chest looked big enough to fit him inside, if he curled up tight enough, and there was a lock on it. But it didn't look like it required a key.
"Is this a puzzle?" Kami asked.
Fiddling with the lock, Kami smiled when he found it was indeed a puzzle, one in which he had to slide the pieces into place to be able to unlock it. The pieces looked like they formed a single picture, and having a sense of familiarity of the image, Kami looked up, and smiled when he realized it was the jolly roger. Looking back down at the lock, Kami stuck out his tongue in concentration, before he smiled as he completed the image and heard it click, as it unlocked.
Removing the lock, Kami opened the chest, and inside found several items. Reaching in, he removed the items one by one, with one of them being another chest, small enough to fit a large apple inside it.
"I'll save this one for last." He said, setting it aside.
Looking at the rest of the stuff he found in the chest, Kami couldn't help but smile in awe. There was a stack of papers, that looked like wanted posters, which were covered in dust, but could easily be fixed up. One of the items was a golden lighter, another was an object that looked like a rather large hermit crabs shell. The fourth item looked like a book filled with papers, and opening it found they were music sheets. To his surprise, they were written in Japanese, or a language similar.
"Bink's Brew?" He pondered, before closing the book.
Putting the book down, Kami reached into the chest one more time, before he pulled out a straw hat, with a red ribbon wrapped around the base, and a book that looked like some sort of locked journal.
"These look so cool." Kami said, before turning back to the smaller box.
Picking up the smaller chest, Kami opened it, to find the contents were a purple fruit, with swirls on the surface, and a green stem.
"A fruit?" Kami questioned, sounding confused. "It doesn't look rotten. How long has it been down here?"
Before he could ponder on it any further, his stomach growled, reminding him that he hadn't eaten anything since breakfast, and his lunch was knocked to the floor, moments before his bullies dragged him to the Suicide Forest.
"I'm so hungry." Kami groaned. "The fruit doesn't look rotten, but it could be inedible."
Kami gulped skeptically, before his hunger won out, and he bit down into the fruit. He found the taste to be very sour, and it had the texture of an apple, while it was green inside. But he didn't care at the moment, as he just kept eating the fruit, until the stem was all that remained.
"For not tasting all that great, the aftertaste wasn't all that bad." Kami said, before getting on his knees, and clapping his hands together in front of the skeleton. "I deeply apologize for disturbing your slumber. Please don't curse me." He prayed, before yawning. "I'm sleepy, but I'm scare to sleep on the ground."
Kami looked around, before he noticed the empty chest he'd pulled from behind the skeleton.
"I could sleep in that like a coffin." He said, crawling to the chest, before pulling himself into it, and curling up real tight within the confines. "I'll put everything back once I've had some rest, and then make my way back to the surface. Not like anyone's actually gonna care that I'm gone." He mumbled, as he dozed off. "I wish All Might, would come find me."
As Kami fell into the world of dreams, pulling the lid over him and sealing the chest he was calling his bed, while humming what he thought the tune from the sheet music was, he was unaware as the skeleton turned its head, and looked at the closed chest with a twinkle of amusement in its lifeless sockets.
"Yohohoho." The skeleton quietly laughed.
~Musutafu Police Station~
"Morning everyone, wuff." The Chief of police said, coming into the precinct. "May I have all your attention please?"
The police precinct all quieted down as their chief of police was addressing them, and it sounded like an urgent, and important matter.
"As of this morning, at 06:00 hours, we've received a report about a young boy, having gone missing over 72hours ago." The chief said. "His name is Kami D. Sukehiro. He's at the age to develop a Quirk, but has been diagnosed as Quirkless. I fear he may have been kidnapped, by some rather heinous villains who plan on using him for unspeakable evils. His disappearance was called in by Rei Todoroki, Endeavor's wife. He's best friends with her youngest son, Shoto Todoroki, and didn't show up for their playdate the day before he was called in missing."
"Do we have any discernible features to go by?" One of the officers asked.
"According to description, he has short black hair, and always wears a white shirt, with green shorts." The Chief said. "We are to find the boy immediately, and procure his safety. That is all, you're dismissed."
"Uh sir."
The chief looked to one of his officers, and saw it was Officer Tsukauchi, holding a chest with three katanas tied to the lid, and a note on the front with tape.
"This was dropped off a moment ago. We don't know where it came from, but it's addressed to All Might." Tsukauchi said. "An' it feels rather heavy."
"Call for him, let him know it's urgent."
"Another thing." Tsukauchi said. "The chest itself, it seems ancient."
"That it does." The Chief said. "But do as I said, and call for All Might."
"Right." Tsukauchi said.
~Later~
"So you called me here, because there was a package for me?" A blonde, muscle bound mountain of a man questioned.
"I do apologize All Might, but I didn't have much choice, since we're dealing with a missing persons investigation right now." Tsukauchi said. "So I couldn't spare the time to bring it to you."
"I understand." All Might said, pulling the note off the chest. "This penmanship is rather exquisite. Almost looks like something from long before the Edo period. I wonder what it says inside."
"Hold up, do you hear that?" Tsukauchi questioned.
"Hear what?" All Might asked.
"Listen."
All Might, and Tsukauchi quieted down, trying hard to listen on whatever sound there was, before All Might heard it.
"Is that… snoring?" He inquired.
"It's coming from the chest." Tsukauchi said.
Quickly, pulling the blades from the ribbon tying the chest closed, All Might and Tsukauchi opened the chest, and they gasped when they found Kami lying in the chest, sleeping soundly, wrapped in what looked like a black jolly roger themed blanket, with some sort of coat folded up and being used as the pillow. All around him, there were an assortment of objects, with a sealed journal by his head, and a straw hat on his chest.
"It's Kami D. Sukehiro." Tsukauchi gasped.
All Might looked at the child, before grabbing the note he'd put on the table, and opened it.
"I found the child, deep within the Suicide Forest. I tended to his wounds, but he'll need some food and water when he wakes up. Everything you see in and on the chest, I bequeath to the boy. ~The Humming Swordsman." All Might read aloud.
"What was he doing in the Suicide Forest?" Tsukauchi asked.
"Let's wake him up and ask him." All Might said, before he shook Kami's shoulder. "Excuse me young man."
Kami's snoring stopped, as he began to wake, before he slowly sat up in the chest, and rubbed his eye.
"When did my ouchies get treated?" He asked, feeling the stitches on the cut under his right eye. "An' how did I sleep through a needle going through my skin?"
"We were hoping you could tell us."
Kami looked up, and turned his head to see All Might and Tsukauchi standing there in bewilderment.
"All Might?" Kami gasped. "You came to rescue me." He smiled.
"I'm sorry, but that's not accurate." All Might said.
"But… you're standing right there, and my injuries are all attended to." Kami stated.
"Someone else found you in the Suicide Forest, and treated your wounds." Tsukauchi said. "They put you in this chest, and addressed it to All Might."
"I crawled in here." Kami said.
"Why?"
"Because I was scared and tired, and wanted a place to sleep." Kami said. "I thought this would be a good place to sleep, before I tried making my way out of the Suicide Forest."
"What were you even doing there in the first place?" Tsukauchi asked.
"You wouldn't believe me." Kami said. "No one takes a Quirkless kid like me seriously."
"I will." Tsukauchi said, bringing Kami's attention to him. "My Quirk allows me to tell when someone is lying, so you can believe me when I say, I know you'll be telling the truth."
"An' I'm interested to hear this too." All Might said. "As whoever your mysterious savior was, they left you with quite a few valuable things, including these three katanas."
"Those are the three swords from the pedestal." Kami gasped.
"Pedestal, like a grave pedestal?" Tsukauchi asked. "Why don't you tell us everything starting at the beginning."
~The Following Day~
"Well, his story checked out." Tsukauchi sighed, closing the file that had been filled with dozens of sheets of paper for the report. "Kami was diagnosed as Quirkless six months ago, which was after he lost his parents to a villain attack, seven months ago, and he's been abused by the other orphans at the orphanage, as well as the staff there, ever since. Security footage proves they weren't even trying to hide their mistreatment of him. Footage also shows they were the ones who dragged him to the van that took him to the Suicide Forest, with some of the other kids. They didn't even think to erase any of the footage, because they were so confident no one would ever believe a Quirkless boy about being abused."
"Either that, or they figured no one would care enough to investigate." All Might said.
"Then there's the report from Hound Dog, he definitely caught Kami's scent and the blood trail on the path of the Suicide Forest, before it goes off the beaten path." Tsukauchi stated. "The other kids were definitely using their Quirks on him, like he was their moving target for target practice."
"It's sickening to think that's how low humanity has stooped to treating those different from others." All Might scoffed. "Kami deserved better."
"How's he doing by the way?" Tsukauchi asked. "Has he had any trouble with adjusting to living with you?"
"He's adapting well. His appetite's a big one though." All Might laughed. "He said he doesn't know why that is, and that it's never been that big before."
"You think he's a late bloomer with his Quirk, or did the stress from his abuse cause it to manifest?" Tsukauchi asked. "Because it sounds like he might be developing a Quirk similar to Fat Gums."
"I couldn't tell you." All Might said.
"All Might, All Might." Kami said, running into the precinct, wearing the straw hat he'd been found with, while holding up a picture. "I drew this for you."
"For me?" All Might asked, taking the picture, and found it was a crude, yet childishly sweet drawing of All Might, fighting a big blue dragon, and winning in one punch. "That's very thoughtful of you little man."
"Kami, I've got good news." Tsukauchi said, drawing the boys attention to him. "Those bullies, who were mistreating you at the orphanage, are gonna be put away for a long time."
"Great." Kami said. "But, does that mean I can't live with All Might anymore? I know it's only been a day, but I like living with him. I feel safe."
All Might and Tsukauchi looked to the boy, before looking to one another.
"There's nothing that says you don't have to live with me." All Might said. "We'll talk more about it tonight at dinner."
"Yay." Kami cheered with a broad smile on his face.
"What would you like for dinner?" All Might asked.
"Ramen, beef ramen." Kami said. "With lots of meat, and cheese."
"I'll see what I can do." All Might smiled. "Now can you go sit by the entrance for me?"
"Okay." Kami said, running back to the bench by the doors, where he'd left the pencil and the paper he'd been given.
"He's a good kid." Tsukauchi said. "Was it smart for you to take him on?"
"Smart of not, we both know you couldn't do it. Your apartment's too small, and your budget wouldn't be able to fund his appetite." All Might said.
"I guess you make a fair point." Tsukauchi said.
Over by the doors, while All Might and Tsukauchi were talking, Kami was sitting on the bench, drawing the jolly roger from his blanket with a smile. He was happy when All Might had offered him a place to stay, after telling them everything that had happened to him. He like being All Might's ward, but he was worried it might end soon.
"Keep moving." One of the officers said.
Kami looked up, and saw an officer, leading away a restrained criminal, who looked tough as nails, and he had tattoos and scars all over his body.
"What are you looking at kid?" The criminal questioned, spotting Kami looking at him.
"Nothing." Kami said, going back to his drawing.
"Hey, leave the kid alone." The officer said, before seating him down on the other side of the bench, across the hall from the bench Kami sat on.
Kami just sat at his end of the first bench nervously, looking over to the criminal occasionally, while staying focused on his drawing. At the same time, the criminal, at the end of his bench, was sitting there quietly, stealing glances at Kami, with a thought coming to his mind.
Without a moments hesitation, and while activating his Quirk, the criminal broke free of the cuffs they had him in, surprising the officers watching over him.
"Freeze, don't move."
Kami's eyes were instantly on the scene, before he gasped and cried out in panic, as the criminal grabbed him by the neck, and wrapped his arm around him, in a vice like grip, opening some of Kami's old wounds, and held him hostage.
"Nobody move." The criminal said.
"Drop the boy, now." One of the officers said, as they pointed their weapons at the criminal.
"I don't think so." The criminal smirked. "Here's how it's gonna go down. I'm gonna walk out those doors, a free man, and if anyone tries to stop me, this boy instantly gets a hole melted right through his chest."
"Lower your weapons." The Chief said, coming onto the scene. "We do not negotiate with villains. Drop the boy and surrender."
"Who's gonna stop me?" The criminal questioned.
"I am." All Might stated, standing behind the criminal, forcing the man to turn around before he gasped. "Because I am here!"
"All Might?" The criminal questioned. "Not another move, or this boy is dead."
"I would ask, that you unhand my ward." All Might stated.
"All Might." Kami cried. "It hurts."
"Everything will be okay." All Might said.
"Did you not hear me? The brat's gonna die, if you don't back off." The criminal said.
"Detroit…" All Might began to chant, before he vanished in a blur of speed.
The criminal looked around, trying to find All Might, but was unable to, until he turned directly to the right, just as All Might's fist came crashing into him.
"SMASH!" The hero cried out, hitting the criminal in the face with a punch.
The force of the punch sent both the criminal and Kami flying out the precinct door, and into the streets. The criminal landed hard on the ground, unintentionally throwing Kami through the air into the busy roads, causing him to get hit by a car, and bounced off it like a rubber ball, before he landed on the arm of the Lady Justice statue just outside the steps of the precinct.
"Kami." Tsukauchi called out, looking for him.
"Up here."
Tsukauchi looked up, and his eyes widened in shock, when he saw Kami hugging the arm of the Lady Justice statue.
"Somebody get a ladder, and restrain that villain." Tsukauchi said, as he ran under the statue, ready to catch Kami if he fell. "It's gonna be okay buddy."
"I've got him." All Might said, jumping into the air before grabbing Kami, and coming back down. "Are you okay my boy?"
"I think so…" Kami said.
"Uh… All Might." Tsukauchi began, his voice filled with disbelief.
All Might looked to Tsukauchi, before he looked to Kami, and saw his arms were stretched up. He looked up, and his eyes widened in shock as well, when he saw that they stretched all the way back up to the Lady Justice statue's arm, still gripping it tight.
"I think he might have unlocked his Quirk." Tsukauchi stated.
Kami looked up, before gasping as he let go of the statue, with his arms snapping back.
"That was cool." Kami said.
"So… what do we do now?" Tsukauchi asked.
"Well… first I'm gonna get his Quirk registration form, updated." All Might said. "Then… I don't know what."
~Years Later~
"Yo hohoho, yo hohoho Yo hohoho, yo hohoho. Yo hohoho, yo hohoho Yo hohoho, yo hohoho. Gather up all of the crew, it's time to ship out Binks' brew. Sea wind blows, to where, who knows? The waves will be our guide. O'er across the ocean's tide. Rays of sunshine far and wide. Birds they sing, of cheerful things, in circles passing by." Kami sang quietly, walking through the streets of Musutafu. "It's a bit strange being back in Musutafu. But Dad did say we had to move back here for his work."
Kami smiled as he went down the street. It had been around ten years since he'd first unlocked his Quirk, and nine since All Might had officially adopted him, and named him as his son. He loved that he was All Might's kid, and that he'd managed to awaken his Quirk. Though, being the #1 Heroes son, did come with some perks and benefits to it. But he didn't care. All he really cared about, was how he was gonna use his power to become a hero, worthy of All Might's pride.
The young man, now in a middle school uniform, was walking home happily. He found school to be boring, and uneventful. He wanted to do something new, and not sit around in a boring old classroom. Atop his head, he wore the straw hat he had found all those years ago. He could barely remember what had happened back then, but he knew it involved a skeleton, and a treasure chest full of stuff he found.
"I wonder if this power I have is connected to that fruit I ate, and isn't actually a Quirk." He pondered. "Eh, who knows?"
Returning home, Kami unlocked the door with a smile on his face, and a skip in his step.
"I'm home." Kami called out, before he bopped himself on the head. "Duh, dad and I are living in separate apartments. So there's no one to call that out to."
Heading into the living room, Kami's smile remained when he saw the jolly roger hanging up over the television, with the Captains Cloak in a display case. Along one of the walls, were about ten picture frames, each of them containing one of the ten wanted posters that had been in the chest, with one of them being of that skeleton he'd pulled the treasure chest from. He especially like the poster of the young man with the white flowing hair, and the broad smile on his face, with the scar under his left eye. Made him feel a special connection to him, and he liked how they had the same middle initial in their names.
On the coffee table, was the locked journal he'd been trying to open for years. He'd tried practically everything it took to get the journal open. The one thing he hadn't tried, was an all purpose key that thieves use for breaking and entering into peoples homes.
"Not like I can just buy one of those. At least not without someone thinking I'm a thief." Kami said. "I just wanna be able to read what's inside. But that's not gonna happen anytime soon. Perhaps I should head back out and get ingredients for my dinner tonight."
Changing into his normal clothes, Kami left the apartment, and went straight for the shopping center. He much proffered his style of clothes, over his uniform. His clothes consisted of a pair of sandals, with a sleeveless shirt sporting an All Might design, and a pair of matching basket ball shorts, along with his straw hat.
As he went through the shopping center, Kami wondered, if there was anything he might need to get for his dad.
"I know he can't really eat physical foods all that well, but still I think he at least deserves something special. I mean, given what the day is." Kami said, carrying his groceries over his shoulder, before an explosion from a nearby alley drew his attention. "What in the world?"
"Kami."
The teen turned around, spotting the man in question he was talking about, running up to him in a huff. He was far different from the man he knew ten years ago, but that didn't matter. Heroing was a dangerous occupation, and the injury that caused All Might to become this skeleton of a man, was the result of the job.
"Dad, what's going on?" Kami asked.
"I caught… a villain earlier… in a bottle of soda." All Might said.
"Soda? Does that mean his body was made of soda?" Kami asked, imagining a villain with a body made of soda, in a costume resembling a soda bottle.
"No you moron, he was made of sludge. I trapped him in a soda bottle." All Might stated, chopping him on the head.
"Ow, okay sorry. So what's the matter?" Kami asked.
"I think this is his doing." All Might stated.
Kami turned back to the scene happening, before he and All Might went to check it out. There, they saw a villain made of sludge, with a hostage in his grasp.
"It's him." All Might gasped.
"Have you reached your heroing limit?" Kami asked.
"I have." All Might stated.
"Right, guess it's up to me." Kami said, moving his hand up his arm as if rolling up his sleeve.
"Kami, be careful. Your provisional license expires in a week." All Might said.
"Don't worry, I'll…" Kami stopped, when someone went running past them, to the scene of the villain attack. It was a young boy around Kami's age, with green hair, and freckles on his face. "What the?"
"Oh no." All Might gasped.
Kami watched as the green haired kid ran straight for the villain, and the hostage. Kami was surprised when the kid threw his bag, and blinded the villain with his All Might themed pencil case. But it's what the boy said, that really hit home for the father and son duo.
"Kacchan, I couldn't just stand there, and watch you die." He stated, his words ringing with All Might and Kami.
"He's got the true makings of a hero." Kami smiled. "I like it."
Throwing his arm back, Kami stretched it out all the way across the street, clenching a tight fist.
"Gum-Gum…" Kami chanted, before throwing his shoulder forward, and sending his outstretched fist, straight for the villain. "PISTOL!"
Just as the villain was recovering from the green haired boys attack, Kami's outstretched fist came flying right at him, and struck the villain in the face. With the grip of the villains on the hostage gone, Kami's arm snapped back into place, before he jumped back, and stretched both out, as he pulled himself back, just as All Might's body was shaking, while pouring out steam as it grew muscular.
"Dad, are you sure?" Kami asked.
"I am. What kind of hero would I be if I didn't risk it all, to protect those I've sworn to defend?" All Might questioned. "On your signal."
"Gum-Gum…" Kami smiled, before he jumped off the ground, and sent himself flying. "ROCKET!"
Flying over the crowd, Kami went flying straight for the duo of students, before he reached his arms out, and literally wrapped them around the boys like they were ropes, as he flew over the villain, and pulled them both free from danger.
"NOW DAD!" Kami shouted, before he made impact with something big, soft, and bouncy right before a giant pair of hands clasped down around them, with Mount Lady grabbing the three of them.
"Detroit: SMASH!" All Might shouted, suddenly in front of the villain, and throwing an uppercut.
The force of the strike, caused the villains liquefied body to splatter everywhere, as a tornado formed in the alley. When the tornado died down, everyone there was in shock, before they all looked up, as it started raining, to see storm clouds had rolled in, in the currents of the tornado.
"He, changed the weather." One of the heroes said.
Kami just sat in Mount Lady's open hands, a broad smile on his face, while one of his hands held his hat down.
"Hehehe. He's the coolest ever." The rubber boy smiled.
"Hey, you there. Straw Hat." Mount Lady said.
"Yes?" Kami asked, craning his head back to look look at Mount Lady.
"Did you call All Might, your dad, a moment ago?" She asked.
"Oops. Sorry, but could you forget I said that? It wasn't meant to be public knowledge." Kami said, turning around and raising his hand to face level, while bowing his head a bit.
"That's not exactly something you can just choose to forget you know." Mount Lady stated angrily. "Jeez."
"Kami."
The teen looked down from Mount Lady's hand, to see All Might standing there, looking up at them.
"Yeah?"
"You're grounded." All Might stated. "For blabbing that secret as your cue."
"It's true?" The entire crowd, plus the Pro Heroes, questioned in shock.
"Fair enough." Kami sighed. "But can I at least get some meat on the way home?"
~2Days Later~
"Why'd we have to wake up this early?" Kami groaned, following the skinny All Might to the beach, out of his truck.
"Because we're meeting someone I believe, could be a real asset to society." All Might stated, as they stopped at the trash filled beach. "Plus, you're gonna help with cleaning up the beach."
"Fair enough." Kami sighed. "So, who are we meeting?"
"All Might, sorry I'm late."
Kami turned to see who had called to them, before his eyes widened, when he saw who was there.
"Oh, it's you." Kami said.
"Kami, meet Izuku Midoriya." All Might said. "Starting today, I'm gonna be training him."
"To handle One-for-All, when you pass it down to him right?" Kami asked.
"How do you know about my power?" All Might asked.
"Well I did learn a thing or two when I was kidnapped by that villain who put a whole in your stomach six years ago." Kami said. "So yeah, I'm aware of your powers origins and how its transferred."
"Did he give you anything else?" All Might asked.
"Aside from what he told me, I don't think so. He did put his hand on my face though, but started cursing up a storm, questioning me about why his Quirk wasn't working on me." Kami stated.
"Interesting."
"So, if you don't mind me asking, what is your Quirk exactly?" Midoriya asked Kami, after the initial shock wore off.
"Oh, my Quirk is called Gum-Gum!" Kami smiled, hooking his finger on the inside of his cheek and pulling, causing his cheek to stretch out incredibly. "My entire body is made of rubber, and I can deflect blunt objects, like bullets."
"Which he tested without consent from an adult." All Might stated.
"But sharp objects are still able to do me harm." Kami said. "I have been working on a new technique though. But I'm not ready to test it out, until I get into U.A."
"An' that's why Young Midoriya's here. While you're gonna be building muscle to gain more focus and control over your power, he's gonna be working on sculpting his body to be able to handle One-for-All's power. You've both got ten months before the Entrance Exams, so do your best." All Might explained.
