Author Note:
You asked for it, I shall now present the first chapter. Please let me know your thoughts; I'm seeking reviews for criticism and opinions on the chapter of the story. This fic will feature a Naruto x Kiana Kaslana pairing, and I'm considering adding Raiden Mei, Yae Sakura, and Elysia to the harem. However, I won't be including Bronya or Seele, as they will have a sibling relationship with the Naruto. If you're curious about how I'll add Elysia, you'll find out as the chapters progress. If you dislike this fic, please let me know as well. I might consider discontinuing it if there's little engagement from the readers. However, the statistics haven't been working for a while, which is also a problem since I wouldn't know how much engagement I would receive. If you want some other girls to be added to the pairing let me know, drop by a review and provide me some insights why you want them in the pairing. One last time, drop by a like, a follow and a review would be appreciated.
CHAPTER 1:
Journey's End
It felt like an eternity since she set out on the heart-wrenching journey to find her missing father. Each day felt like an agonizing stretch of time, filled with uncertainty and despair. With every step she retraced of his past, she hoped to uncover the smallest trace, a fragment of information that would lead her to him.
She immersed herself in the echoes of his existence, reliving his moments in an attempt to grasp the reality of his disappearance. Every place he had been, every person he had known—she sought solace in these fragments, desperately piecing together the puzzle of his vanishing.
Weeks drifted by like a relentless storm, leaving her drenched in the cold sweat of unanswered questions. The trail she pursued seemed to evaporate into thin air, leaving behind only the haunting emptiness of ambiguity. Her thirst for answers grew insatiable, a gnawing ache that refused to be quenched. In the quiet moments, when the world rested in silence, she grappled with the haunting notion that perhaps her old man had left her willingly. The idea that he might have chosen to abandon her clawed at her heart, a chilling specter that threatened to engulf her in a sea of abandonment.
Yet she couldn't blame him...
After all, she was a monster.
The fear of being forsaken gnawed at her soul, leaving her in a state of perpetual vulnerability. The echoes of her own insecurities reverberated in the silence, amplifying the deafening uncertainty that surrounded her.
Perhaps...she should forsake everything and just stopped?
Perhaps...giving up is the bested of options.
The moonlight bathed the shadow of a young girl, painting a silhouette against the ethereal glow.
Each breath she took seemed to carve through the frosty air, billowing in visible clouds as she staggered through the desolate snow-covered land, with her every step carved a temporary mark as she walked forward seemingly towards the unknown.
The frozen expanse stretched endlessly before her; a desolate canvas painted in hues of bone-chilling white. The silent witness to her journey, the icy landscape bore the weight of her solitude. Her footprints, like faint scars on the pristine canvas, told a story of resilience against the unyielding grasp of Siberia's cruel evening.
Her once vibrant blue eyes, now dulled by the relentless assault of bitter winds, reflected the weariness of a soul navigating the harsh expanse of solitude. The biting embraces of the unforgiving cold seemed to seep into her very bones as she slumped onto the frozen tundra, the ground offering no respite to her weary form.
The unforgiving terrain cradled her with an icy indifference, an unyielding reminder of nature's cruelty. Her breath, visible in the frigid air, mingled with the surrounding stillness, creating a haunting melody of desolation. As her body melded with the frozen earth, the air itself seemed to shiver, bearing witness to the harshness of her ordeal.
With each feeble attempt to rise, the tundra beneath her responded with a symphony of crunching snow, a bitter chorus echoing the struggles etched into the fabric of the icy wilderness. Her trembling limbs, once filled with vitality, now faltered under the weight of isolation. The silent landscape, indifferent to her plight, offered no solace, only a cold and unyielding embrace.
In this frozen expanse, where time itself felt suspended, she fought against the oppressive chill that sought to claim her spirit.
The moon, a distant guardian in the vast Siberian sky, cast its pale glow upon her silhouette, emphasizing the loneliness of her struggle.
The struggle was not merely physical but a profound clash of wills against the elements of coldness. Each heave of her breath, visible in the frigid air, painted a portrait of resilience against the icy grasp of the land. The very essence of her being seemed entwined with the frosty tendrils that reached for her, yet her determination remained a beacon against the encroaching darkness.
Ears twitching when she heard the ominous howl nearby. Recognizing the impending danger, the young girl gritted her teeth and clenched her hands, using them for support to stand as she mustered all her strength to rise back on her feet.
A sense of foreboding overcame her as the howling wolves fell silent. Seconds later, the wolves whimpered in fear as the girl could feel the ground reverberated and a colossal shadow, cast by the formidable Honkai beast, loomed ominously over her.
When the moonlight draped its form into view, she could see the creature loomed large, a behemoth of formidable proportions. Its head, an amalgamation of bestial strength and primal elegance, bore the resemblance of a ferocious bull, complete with two razor-sharp horns jutting forth from either side. Yet, intertwined with this unmistakable bovine visage was a hint of mammalian grace, as a long snout adorned with additional horns framed its formidable countenance. As it traveled down its colossal frame, the creature's body defied easy categorization. A mysterious luminescence, reminiscent of veins pulsating with ethereal energy, traced intricate patterns across its form, casting a mesmerizing blue glow that seemed to emanate from within. Balanced on four powerful legs, the creature stood with an imposing and unyielding stance, each limb.
It roared with a ferocity that echoed through the icy expanse, a declaration of its unrivaled dominance. With a swift, determined motion, she reached for her holster, intent on retrieving the lifeline that was her pistol. However, before her fingers could clasp around its familiar grip, the beast lunged its massive hand, tearing through her backpack as if it were paper, and flung her violently towards a nearby tree trunk.
'Ughh…' the young girl groaned, the searing pain in her injured stomach.
Her pistol lay tantalizingly several meters away, just out of reach.
'C'mon Kiana! Move!' she shouted to herself, her eyes darting between the menacing Honkai beast and the distant glimmer of hope.
And as adrenaline kicked, without a moment's hesitation, Kiana summoned every ounce of strength left in her weary body and sprinted towards the elusive weapon.
The world around her seemed to slow, each step an arduous struggle against time itself.
"GROWRRR!" The ominous roar of the approaching Honkai beast reverberated through the air, the ground quaking beneath its relentless charge. In a desperate leap, she reached her pistol just as the beast closed in.
"Not on my watch!" Kiana's declaration pierced the frigid air, the moonlight casting an ethereal glow on her silver hair as she aimed the trembling pistol as she skidded across the snow-covered land and dodged the lunging Honkai beast before firing the gun.
Bang! Bang!
The gunshots echoed with a thunderous resonance, capturing the attention of other lurking Honkai beasts in the shadows. They became silent witnesses to the high-stakes confrontation between human and Honkai.
The bullet grazed the colossal Honkai, a purple spray staining the pristine snow. The beast growled, its fury intensifying. Kiana, despite a sprained foot, watched in confusion when it suddenly slammed itself to a tree near her, its shockwave sends a windy chill across the ground before she realized what it was doing.
"GROWWRRR!" The beast roared as it tore down the trunk causing the tree to fall towards her.
Kiana evaded it a little bit too late as her vision was shrouded by pristine white of snows before she uses her five senses and felt something approaching her, unlike before this time the Honkai Beast lunged by spinning itself, moving at a speed faster than before as she struggled to avoid each of its attack.
The beast used the momentum and altered its trajectory whilst the silverette recentered her focus on the Honkai, directing her pistol with steely determination and evaded once more before aiming towards its unprotected belly.
Bang!
Time itself seemed to hang in suspense as the beast was stopped in its attack, falling to the nearby tree, feeling the immense pain as its screamed send chill running down to her spine.
She managed to injure it!
She realized she could win.
However, she watched in agonizing silence as it leaped into the air, a monstrous silhouette against the bleak sky, its movements a cruel dance of impending doom. The air crackled with an eerie tension, and the clouds above seemed to weep in anticipation, mirroring the tears welling in the young girl's eyes.
The Honkai beast descended with malevolent grace, a cascade of ethereal tendrils cascading like liquid shadows. Desperation etched across her face, the young Kiana summoned every ounce of strength to evade, her movements a desperate ballet of survival. Each pirouette, each desperate lunge, was a fleeting attempt to defy the relentless advance of her inevitable fate.
Yet, unlike the relentless fury of the Honkai beast, human resilience had its limits. Despite the adrenaline coursing through her veins, the girl's breaths became labored, each inhalation a painful reminder of her mortality.
The once nimble dance of evasion gradually devolved into a weary struggle against the encroaching darkness.
Kiana's lips trembled as she fought to remain standing, her weary body betraying her valiant spirit. Every muscle screamed in protest, and the weight of impending doom pressed heavily upon her frail shoulders. The desolate land bore witness to the unfolding tragedy, its silence amplifying the impending sense of loss.
With a heartrending inevitability, the young girl succumbed to the exhaustion, her body collapsing to the unforgiving earth.
Time slowed to a crawl, as if the universe itself mourned the impending demise of a courageous soul. The Honkai beast, its majestic form casting a suffocating shadow, descended upon her with a predatory patience.
As Kiana lay on the cold, unforgiving ground, a haunting silence enveloped her. The only sound that permeated the air was the haunting tick-tock of an invisible clock, counting down the final moments of her existence. In that poignant silence, she closed her eyes, shutting out the nightmare that unfolded around her.
For the first time in her life, fear seized her heart. It wasn't the fear of battle or the fear of the unknown, but the chilling dread of an imminent, solitary demise. The realization dawned upon her—a cruel epiphany—that this time, there was no one to rescue her from the clutches of the encroaching darkness.
No one…
No one…
There's truly no one by her side.
This time, she was truly alone.
Alone in her final moments, abandoned by the comforting embrace of salvation, she faced the abyss with a profound loneliness that echoed through the desolate land. In the throes of despair, Kiana grappled not only with the terror of death but with the unbearable solitude that accompanied her tragic end.
In that fleeting moment, tears streamed down Kiana's face.
'Sorry papa… mama… Kiana…' her thoughts resonated with apologies to those she held dear.
Her nascent journey, barely weeks old, faced an abrupt and uncertain end.
What used of her undeniable strength, if she couldn't even stop a Honkai Beast by herself?
If only she had been stronger...
As death about to reached her a second later, she drifted into a poignant reflection of the past.
"My sweet baby girl, I am proud of you Kiana… Kiana Kaslana."
Breath caught in a cascade of memories as she recalled the very scene where she earned herself a name and a surname by her father.
"Ohh yeah, today is your birthday…happy birthday Kiana! What would you like to eat today? Ahh, I know, why don't we try making a pizza…ugh but I don't have a clue in making one hehe!"
Scenes after scenes playing inside the young girl's head as she found herself immersed in each of them until the very one where she truly cried out loud.
"Ich liebe dich, my beloved daughter."
The distant memory of a mother's soothing voice added to the melancholy symphony playing in her mind. It was a voice that once promised safety, now reduced to a spectral reminder of a warmth she could no longer embrace.
"Papa! I want to save her! She will be my younger sister! Hehe c'mon lil sis, I can't wait to show you the beauty of the world!"
Her lips twitched as she begged to the heavens.
"I don't want to die!"
The beast was inches away from crushing her little and fragile body before a blinding golden light interrupted its descended, a heel sends it flying as the kick propelled a shockwave that caused the entire tree around them to collapse, and the entire tundra to trembled under his might.
As the golden light faded the young man carried her bridal style as he looked down at her with a gentle smile on his face, swiping his hand on her eyes to rubbed the tears away before caressing her hair as a sense of comfort.
"You did well, Cecilia's daughter."
"W-who…?" escaped her lips as adrenaline kicked off exhaustion claimed her as she watched him staring at her in silence, his hair swaying in the air, despite not knowing who he was she for some reason feels comfortable in his arms.
The little girl scrutinized the appearance of this caring stranger from head to toe, noticing his azure eyes. His spiky hairstyle featured a subtle cascade, with a single, striking spike standing prominently at the back. He was dressed casually, wearing a mixture of a black and orange jacket, a T-shirt, and sporting a form of mesh armor underneath his open jacket. Completing the ensemble were a pair of black sandals.
"Watch kid, I want you to learn…that your struggles aren't in vain. I will finish your job."
Then, with cataclysmic force, hell unleashed itself.
The landscape transformed into a crater, the Honkai beast's blood the sole trace, erasing all signs of its formidable existence. The echoes of a battle waged in the heart of Siberia's unforgiving night lingered, a tale of resilience against an unstoppable force as she fell witness to his might, watching in the battle unfolds that does not graze him at all.
All that whilst she was cradled in his arm!
She was immersed in them as if an action movie unfolds transpired in front of her eyes, her excitement died down however as she found solace that she was saved and slowly drifted to sleep.
The man sighed, his gaze lingering on the young girl for a moment as he chuckled softly.
The girl shared some distinguished feature like Cecilia…ugh and well maybe a mixture of Sixfried?
The man fixed the strands of her unruly white hair and draped his orange cloak around her, then enveloping her cold body with a warm, soothing blue chakra for more assurance. Afterward, he departed from the desolated, destroyed land, leaving behind his fleeting footprints before the snowstorm consumed them whole as if the world witness nothing but echoed from a ghost.
