The characters and the plots belong to Dolphinheart99, who wrote the entire original story, and to their respective owners. I got authorization from Dolphinheart99 to take some elements of her stories. I therefore own nothing, minus the names of my OCs. And for anyone wondering why, I explicitely asked for Dolphinheart99's consent to pick up elements of her stories and adapt them with mine, as I did with DieHardBrendan with his.
BTW : I sign this fanfic to the brave defenders of Ukraine. Glory to Ukraine, glory to heroes.
Introducing: Maurice Compte as Colonel Felix Carillo, a Mexican Naval Infantry officer who is both competent and incorruptible.
Carlos Bardem as Colonel Pablo Vargas, an uncorruptible Colombian Naval Infantry officer.
Leigha Hancock as Maple Jones (Hunger Games character), Sophia's sister
The following morning, Ava, her father, Barry, Hoskins, Lex, Claire, Lowery, Vivian, Savannah, the Mitchell brothers, Wu, Karen, Ben, Tim and his US Marines were standing in a school circle when the elevator dinged. The doors opened, revealing none other than Colonel Felix Carillo and some of his troops, all of whom were porting kitted-out M4A1 carbines and class 4 body armor in addition to having a Beretta 92FS pistol in belt holsters. Suddenly, some more of Carillo's men appeared by opening the door to the helipad. And Ava trusted Felix for one simple reason: he was incorruptible, since he knew Mexican law enforcement was riddled with corruption. Ava also trusted Felix's troops because he hand-picked them for both their skills and incorruptibility. Fortunately, Felix had plenty of troops to handpick since the Mexican Naval Infantry was the least corrupt law enforcement organization in Mexico.
"Felix!" Ava said. "Fucking glad you could bring all of your guys to Nubla!"
"I couldn't evade the opportunity to help the Gradies who are my friends as far as I know." Felix replied before turning to his men, "Muchachos. Meet Ava. Ava, my troops."
Ava fist-bumped the Mexicans one after another while Tim and his men shook the Mexicans' hand before the USMC 1st Lieutenant got a radio call. Heading for the radio operator, Tim put the hearing device to his ear and replied with either affirmative answers or requests to say again before turning to Felix and his men. Tim then whispered something in Spanish to Ava and Felix to let them know he was to be redeployed elsewhere to assist Georgian troops in dismantling Mortem's cells and labs. Felix and Ava nodded before Tim and his men went to the helipad, where a US Army CH-47F Chinook was waiting for them alongside two US Army UH-60M Blackhawks.
Once Tim and his men boarded the big helicopter, Felix turned to the rest of the persons in the control room. Ava didn't lose time introducing Felix and his men to everyone else minus her father, who knew Felix from SEAL training. Owen had indeed been trained in Coronado, where Felix Carillo also happened to have been trained as part of military exchange programs between the US Navy and the Mexican Navy. Felix shook hands with everyone, including Savannah and her stepbrothers.
"Sorry, Felix. But we got a job to do. We are first to rescue Rick Sommers' wife and daughter. They are hospitalized at St. Mary's Hospital in Janesville, Wisconsin. But I bet Mortem have at least one spy there to make sure they are permanently ill." Ava told her Mexican contact.
"Si. But we have to call the FBI first. Even if the American authorities allowed cross-border operations." Felix enquired.
"No need. Masrani and the CIA warned them already and sent a picture of Ava and your outfit. The CIA, the FBI and the DEA will send a joint team to arrest the spy and help you out." Claire said.
"Perfect. Now, let's go! Vamonos!" Felix said as Ava packed up her M4A1 carbine and a Mexican Naval Infantry uniform to avoid being identified as an American teenager.
After Ava got dressed, she saw Rick Sommers being handcuffed and watched by two security members and Hoskins while Lowery gave Felix and his troops a tablet showing blueprints of St. Mary's Hospital so that Felix and his troops wouldn't get lost. Hoskins then took the teenager apart and leaned into her ear as she adjusted the helmet provided to her by Felix and his men.
"Ava. Just be careful. Mortem father and son are dangerous." Hoskins pleaded.
"I will." Ava said before joining Felix and his troops as they went down the stairs.
After moving downstairs, they arrived at the lab where everyone was wondering what Mexican troops were doing on Isla Nublar. But people were even more surprised that those troops were wearing balaclavas and facemasks to conceal their face, not knowing they were actually getting ready for a rescue operation.
In the meantime in the control room, Owen, Lex and Barry prepared their equipment to be ready to help Ava out if she needed help before Lex prepared her body armor and her Glock 19 pistol before the quartet loaded up and took some rifles Owen retrieved from his armory. They then loaded up their weapons when Owen called another contact of his family's. And said contact also happened to be an incorruptible man, but unlike Felix, the man was a Colombian Naval Infantry officer. Savannah and Zach overheard the man being named Pablo and having his troops ready to help. Owen then texted his daughter about Pablo and his men.
In the USAF C-130J Super Hercules cargo plane, Ava got her father's text and showed it to Felix, who smiled. Felix also knew Pablo due to the two of them having trained in Coronado alongside Owen. Ava also trusted Pablo for his incorruptibility, knowing her father had requested Pablo's help many times to dismantle drug trafficking rings as well human smuggling organizations. And Pablo despised the Mortem father and son as much as Owen did.
Meanwhile, Claire was at the pier to welcome new employees named Greg Suarez, Tricia Wilkins and Sophia Jones as well as the latter's sister Maple. As she held the sign, Zara looked through the crowd and compared the faces with those on the mugshots. And four young people, aged from 17 to 21 appeared on the pier, where Zara saw them.
"Claire, here they are." Zara said her boss and friend.
"Nice work Zara." Claire said as she saw them too.
Just as Sophia and her sister Maple were having a conversation with Tricia and Greg, they saw a woman matching Claire Dearing's mugshot on their cellphone. They approached the Park Operations Manager, who extended her hand. Maple being the friendly and social girl she was, she caught Claire's hand.
"Claire Dearing. You must be Maple Jones. There are your sister Sophia, Tricia Wilkins and Greg Suarez. Welcome to Jurassic World." Claire told Maple.
"Yes, I am. And you got everyone's name correct." Maple ecstatically said.
Suddenly, Maple and her sister heard some helicopter noises. Raising their eyes, they saw four dark helicopters before Greg took his binoculars and saw these were two US Army specops MH-60K Blackhawk helicopters escorting two MH-47 Chinooks. Claire then saw Barry, Lex and Owen appearing behind her before tossing a red smoke grenade in the grass. A few seconds later, the helicopters landed several meters away from the trio after the MH-47s turned around. Just as Sophia and her sister looked at Owen, the latter fist bumped a Colombian man in his 50s carrying a M4A1 carbine. The man was followed by several men dressed in camouflage uniforms with the Colombian national flag onto their sleeve and also carrying M4A1 carbines.
"Hi, Pablo. Knew you'd come." Owen commented.
"Si. Whe I heard my Commodore saying many organizations wanted those two Mortem sons of bitches dead, I could only volunteer. So did my guys." Pablo said.
"Barry, Lex. This is Pablo Vargas. Pablo, Barry Sembène and Lex Murphy. She wanted to make a name for herself through her own efforts." Owen introduced.
Once Pablo shook hands with everyone, Owen went to Claire and passionately kissed her before letting go and joining Pablo and his men in the MH-47s which then took off. Claire smirked despite her worries the man she loved would never come back home. Zara put a reassuring hand on her friend's shoulder while the Jones sisters, Tricia and Greg were briefed by security officers about what was happening.
