"I don't want to stay here, understand? I'm coming with you!" Edward said to me once we were back in our room alone.
The ride back to his home was terrible. Nobody uttered a word. Edward kept giving silent death glares to everyone, including me, and that's all about it!
I wasn't exactly sure why he was so pissed off at me! I mean, I agreed that I shouldn't have accused him of cheating on me, but I had my reasons to feel insecure! He wasn't even trying to understand my point of view!
And I still hadn't figured out everything he mentioned when he was blasting at me.
If he had issues with me, he could have said them out loud?
Wasn't the point of our 'relationship' all about being transparent?
"I don't care about this wedding or anybody else!" His voice interrupted my thoughts.
"But I don't want to miss your sister's wedding!" I replied.
"I don't care about fucking wedding," he said.
"Yeah, because you're angry at her right now!" I said, "You might regret it later if you miss her wedding. I don't want you to do that."
I didn't give a damn about his family, but I didn't want him to have any kind of regrets later. It was his sister's wedding, for God's sake!
"You're pissing me off right now!" he said.
It seemed everything and everyone was pissing him off right now. He had every right to be mad at everyone, but still, I wanted him to stay calm and attend the wedding. I wasn't sure how his parents and family would feel if he skipped it!
They might dislike me more than they already did! Well, I shouldn't be giving a damn about what they thought!
"Edward... I know you're angry, but you need to calm down a bit. Let me go. I think we need to clear our heads a bit. I needed to figure out a lot of things," I said.
"Oh, everything is clear in my head," he said, "If you want to figure something out, we can do it together."
"Edward... Please!" I said.
Why was he making it so difficult!
We needed to talk, but first I needed to figure out what exactly I wanted to talk to him about. I had a feeling if we had any serious discussion now, we'd just end up making it worse than it already was.
"Okay, fine!" he said, "If you want me to attend this fucking shitty wedding, then we can move to the hotel. I don't want to stay here."
"No... Please try to understand!" I said, "We really, really need some time apart from each other."
He glared at me.
"Okay, but I have one condition," he said, "You are not leaving the town. I want to come and talk to you whenever I want."
"Okay," I sighed.
"You need to understand that I'm really sorry about what happened," he said as he took me in his arms, "I didn't expect them to go to this extent."
"That's okay..." I said.
"It's not!" He said.
Yeah, it was not, but I didn't want to drag it right now!
"I will get going now," I said.
He sighed again.
"Come... I will drop you to the hotel. We can spend some time together," I said.
"No, I'm good." I said.
"Okay..." he said, "I need to talk to everyone anyway! I guess it might be better if you're not around at that time."
"Edward..." I said, "I'm fine! I don't want to make a mess right now!"
"I know what I need to do," he said.
