An orange tom sat in the middle of the four trees clearing, his fur rippling in the light breeze. The tom was large with long ginger fur and a muzzle with deep scars etched into it, along with glowing green eyes.

He let out a low growl,

How dare she be late! She was the one who told me to meet her here.

The tom only had to wait a couple minuets longer when the cat he was meeting prowled out of the bushes. It was a she-cat with long dark blue tabby fur and a plumed tail.

"RainFlower, you're late," Growled the orange tabby, standing up and approaching her. Rainflower gave the tom a look of scorn and sat down beside him.

"Where you going to start without me?" hissed RainFlower, watching as the tom's fur pricked with anxiety; the blue she-cat was obviously the boss in this situation. The tom mumbled his reply, his eyes fixed on RainFlower's, which were narrowed to orange slits. The she-cat sat down next to the tom and watched as he forced the fur on his shoulders to lie flat.

"Have you gotten rid of BrakenTail yet?" the tom asked

" We must wait, TallFlame," her voice was icy with cold calculation. Tall flame looked at her, confusion glittering his green gaze. What does she mean, we can't wait any longer!

The she-cat continued on "I must make WaspStar believe I am the only cat that could fill BrankenTail's roll in the case of.." she unsheathed her claw and starting cleaning the sharp daggers.

"Untimely death," she paused, watching his reaction intently. TallFlame knew they were going to get rid of BrakenTail but kill him? He didn't know that RainFlower planned to kill him.

"Yes... But how do you plan to kill him," TallFlame questioned her. RainFlower let out a low chuckle,

"It's easy, I bring him prey every sun high while he shares tongues with the leader," TallFlame shrugged

"So?"

"Well, it would be awfully easy to lace it with something," her silky mew rung out through the clearing, echoing off the bushes.

"Why do you need me then?" TallFlame asked, almost wishing he hadn't. He didn't want to know.

"I need supporters in other clans," she explained, glancing at him with her sharp orange eyes.

Support. Anger rose in him like a fire, burning at his heart. TallFlame would never follow any cat around, never be a follower. He knew he had to teach her a lesson but he couldn't help but feel... Scared. RainFlower was dangerous, she was cold and heartless.

Ill help her... for now.
