Meanwhile, in the Almia region, a little girl with a Celebi look to her was waking up from a very peaceful nap and looking around the place with her eyes shut, seeing everything with her mind's eye instead. And she smiled happily as she then proceeded to get dressed into her regular clothes, before then hearing a voice.
"Excuse me, are you Hush?" said a small, spritely voice, almost like it were a fairy. Hush then sensed for where the voice came from and then found that it was on her bedstand, her then looking at it with her mind and being surprised at what it was.
"Oh? A little Celebi? Only five inches tall? How very cute," Hush smiled with her mind, which the tiny Celebi then smiled at her after.
"I see why she called you Hush, then. May I please speak to my mother?" she asked, which automatically made Hush open her eyes, which was what the Celebi part within her was in control of, but only for a little bit at a time. And after seeing the tiny Pokemon, the mouth started to move.
"Sprite?... Is that truly you, dear?" she asked, the little tiny Celebi smiling and giving a small hug to the giant girl in comparison.
"I thought I'd never see you again, momma," she smiled, the mother within the teenager then getting the chance to hug her daughter for the first time in over 2 years.
"How are you here?... I thought I told you to stay in Fiore," she said in concern.
"I was told you were still alive by a Ranger named Beth... and I now know you're combined with Hush in Almia... I traveled here just to see and hug you for the first time in ages," Sprite smiled happily.
"I can see your thoughts, and I'm actually surprised about who you needed to hide from in Fiore... to think that Gruntilda is in this world as well... how confusing," Hush said with her mind, which made Sprite confused at her statement.
"You mean you know of her, too? She's nasty and vile, and I saw her shouting at a Quilava for just existing," Sprite frowned.
"No surprise, Gruntilda is the nastiest witch in the world she came from. She's also got tons of magic... but if what your memories state is true, she must be drastically underpowered after arriving to this world... you overheard her saying that stuff? I'd like it if, when you go back to Fiore, you tell Beth about what you heard her say. It'll be a good thing to know she's not as strong as she usually is," Hush smiled, which Sprite nodded at happily.
"Before I go back, can I ask if we can share breakfast together?... I promise to come back every so often to see you again, mommy," Sprite smiled, me smiling at that.
"I'd love that, Sprite. Just be careful on your travels, we've foreseen something that will happen in Almia shortly after Hush were to graduate from Ranger School. And I don't want you to be in the crossfire," the mother Celebi warned her child, which Sprite nodded at.
"Okay, thanks for telling me that, mum... so when are you going to school?"
"In just a few months, and I'm going to be a ranger, just like Beth. And I'm going to be amazing. I'll only speak with my mouth and open my eyes if I get really mad or serious or if Celebi wishes to see something," Hush smiled as the duo then finally went down the stairs and went to meet up with the quiet teenager's parents. They were smelling flapjacks with butter and syrup.
After a good night's rest, I then woke up to see that Emolga was already awake and that she'd already gotten Joltik out of her body, but that there were a few droppings that were being cleaned up by another Ranger and that the Joltik was currently taking some of Emolga's excess electricity before then latching onto the other Ranger.
"Thanks for the extra zaps, I'm gonna head back to the forest after a quick rest," the Joltik spoke, me smiling at that.
"You didn't mention to me that your Emolga ate a Joltik for fun. Did you know of that?" the ranger asked.
"Yes, and only because the Joltik comes from the Forest. Just escort him back to the forest path and he'll find his way home," I smiled.
"Right... I'll keep quiet about this, so long as you help clean up Emolga's droppings in the future," he said, me nodding at that.
"At least there's a positive. Her pellets don't smell," I smirked as I then went to the main part of the base and saw that Spenser was there and that he was anxious to see me.
"Good to see you, Beth. I've gotten a message from Cameron that he wants to meet with you in Summerland to give you a gift. But because of how far the trip is on foot, and due to you now being at Rank 7, I have another mode of transportation waiting upstairs. Follow me," Spenser said, me then following him up the elevator and then speaking my mind.
"This isn't stairs. It's an elevator," I smirked with my mouth, which Spenser smirked at.
"Sounds like someone's a smarty pants," he chuckled as he then led me and Emolga to the Dragonite Trainer, me smiling at him and his Dragonite.
"I'd heard that you were hoping to use the Dragonite ride to go to Summerland. But before you do that, you'll need to get Dragonite to trust you. And to do that, you'll need to catch her!" he smirked, me smiling at the pronoun.
"Gotcha, I'm gonna catch her," I smiled as I then went into the capture mode and waited until Dragonite stayed still after flying all over the room, before then circling her roughly 6 times before I then caught her, me smiling after.
"Good show, girl! I would've actually let you on regardless, but the rules are the rules," the Dragonite smiled, me smiling at that.
"Still, gotta prove my worth," I smiled, me internally cheering at how good I was getting at speaking English!
"Strange... it seems that with every rank you increase by, your English diction is getting way better. Maybe it increases along with your sense of justice?" Spenser asked, that making Magearna speak instead.
"I think you're right... I was made for help, for save others... so with more good deeds, our dission increase... though mine less so," Magearna said with a blush, me then speaking from the mind after.
"Still, the fact you're speaking regardless is quite the achievement, Magearna, considering that you couldn't say a word as a Pokemon on your own. Must've been from when they created you at first... I still can't believe that you were made after the first ever Pokeball design over 200 years ago," I admitted, her smiling at that.
"Yes... anyways, may you please fly us to Summalant?" Magearna smiled, which Dragonite smirked at with a giggle.
"Yes, I can. Open the hatch, master," the Dragonite smiled, the trainer then touching a button on his wrist and me gawking at how the roof opened up above us, Dragonite then having me and Emolga grab onto her and then had us fly through the air at quite a good speed of 30 miles an hour, us then being let off gently at the Ranger Base in Summerland, where I then saw Percy appear and for him to smile at me.
"Hey, I heard that you were going to get a gift from Cameron? I feel bad for you. He means well, but most of his gifts are quite useless," he admitted, me then going into the building with him and for Cameron to notice and smile at me.
"Ah! There you are, Beth! I wanted to show you something that I found! It's just for you for helping out Percy and for rescuing Aria yesterday," he smirked, showing me to the left and me seeing something that made me stunned. It wasn't the Aquamole like in the game... it was actually a put-together submarine made of tons of different individual blocks and even had a glass dome overtop, a trio of propellers underneath, two small wings on the side, retractable wheels, and it even had air tanks on the inside! But it did look to be a bit in disrepair, as it was missing some parts, such as a fuel source, the engines, and an actual driving apparatus.
"I think this might be a good time to say something important to you, Cameron," I said, him being confused at me as I spoke the rest with my mind. "I actually know that Gruntilda, the leader of the Go-Rock Squad, comes from another world entirely, filled with magic and her being a witch supreme. And this looks like it's her personal submarine, complete with a cauldron as the seat and the green and purple coloring," I smirked, which made Cameron surprised.
"You're serious? How would you know that?" he asked me.
"Because I actually come from a different universe as well... I was actually sent to this one alongside my family because of a Team Rocket science project, and at the same time, I can only assume that Gruntilda was sent here via the same reason. As for her, this is definitely her submarine, which comes from the third time she was defeated by her arch-enemies. And as for the things it needs to be repaired, it needs a means of driving the submarine, a couple engines, and a fuel source. If we could get those things, then this thing can be used to explore the depths of the ocean," I smiled.
"Ingenious! I'll ask my mechanic to get to work on repairing it, then! I'm so happy that you like it!" he smiled.
"I love it. Just wait until I tell Gruntilda that I stole her submarine and I can't wait to see the sparks fly! HEEHEE!" I smiled in English, which is when I saw that Lunick appeared from the door alongside Dedenne and he then saw me and Cameron talking.
"Oh, Beth! I didn't expect to see you here!" he smiled.
"I came to get this awesome sub as a gift," I smirked in English.
"Looks like you're learning how to talk again!... Anyways, Cameron, I happened to see a strange totem in the set of ruins in the jungle. Any clue as to what it is?" Lunick asked.
"Ah, that's the area for the Heroic Trials. If you hit a secret switch on that totem, then you can test your mettle against the tests of a hero. Joel, Spenser and I did them back in the day, y'know, when I was still in my prime. But there exists one rule. Never ever complete the fourth and final trial, because the legends say that if all four are completed, a horrible calamity will happen to Fiore," Cameron said, me smiling at that.
"What do you say, Lunick? Want to test our heroism?" I smiled.
"I'm in! I hope we do well in that test!" he smirked, us then getting a quick breakfast before we then headed out into the jungle. We proceeded through the thicket until we happened to see the big Snorlax resting by the area that led to the Gyarados lake, me looking at the big palooka with a smile.
"Ah, that's gotta be living the dream, huh? Just sleeping all day and night, only getting up to eat, and then going right back to sleep," I smiled, Lunick looking at me in surprise.
"I didn't know you thought like that. That sounds more like something Cameron would say," Lunick said with surprise.
"Hey, I said that he's living the dream. I never said it was MY dream," I smirked. "My dream is to be able to get some off time at some point for one reason. To go back to the lab that we were sent to and try to salvage any information about how my family was sent here from another universe. Maybe I could even see if I could look at other universes from it, or even bring in extra help in case bad guys other than Gruntilda have been sent here?" I asked, which made Lunick confused.
"You mean that Gruntilda, the leader of the Go-Rock Squad, comes from another universe? How do you know?" he asked, me speaking my truth.
"Because of something that should be kept secret from everyone except for our Ranger allies. My family comes from a universe that has a ton of these things called video games. And I happen to know that Gruntilda comes from a game called Banjo-Kazooie, her being a stereotypical witch with ugly looks, green skin, and rhyming every time she speaks. And she's also got magic up the whazoo, which includes flight, fire conjuring, mind control, a blast of magic that can kill you and separate your soul from your body, and even a brain inventive enough to make a beauty-transfer pod, a slew of mechanized monstrosities, and even that submarine that Cameron found for me," I said, us having reached the relic before Lunick stopped me.
"Wait... Gruntilda made that submarine? Wouldn't it be dangerous, then?" he asked.
"Not really. She did have weaponry on it when she used it, but that specific sub does not have a single weapon on it. The only problematic thing would maybe be the propellers, as it may harm underwater Pokemon. But if I simply ask, I'm sure I could get the propellers to have some kind of protection so they don't hit any Pokemon," I smiled back.
"You know, you start talking in complete sentences, but then you resort to your mind translator around the halfway point. Is there a reason for that?" Lunick asked me.
"I'm trying to train myself even harder, as I've found that, with every rank I increase, I can get better at speaking. I'm trying to speak in bigger sentences so I can finally be back to how I used to speak," I smiled as we then entered the jungle relic and I then inspected the mural, me then finding a small indent on the center of the giant stone tablet, me pushing it with my Capture Styler and, upon doing so, the path was immediately opened up for us!
"Okay, then here comes the moment of truth. Time to have some fun turning into a hero," Lunick smirked as we went down a whole slew of stairs in a cramped corridor, Dedenne speaking as we walked down.
"This dark staircase is kind of creeping me out... maybe I can light the place up slightly?' he asked before then making some light with his electrical cheeks, just in time for us to reach the bottom of the stairway and for us to enter a dimly lit cavern, seeing only a few torches around that lined a path for us to travel through.
"Okay, we're here, now let's do some challenges," Lunick smirked as we then proceeded to go through the place and we went to the water trial first. I had to be perfect or risk hurting both of our butts from a big fall, so I had to hope I didn't end up getting hit by any of the water blasts from the Gyarados awaiting us.
Meanwhile, outside of the relic, the four members of the Quads were getting a message from their ugly, yet somehow sexy boss in Gruntilda.
"Eeeheeheeheehaa! Well, it seems that the rangers are going for a trial?
You should go in there and do something vile!
Force them to complete the fourth and final test,
And then I'll come in to capture a volcanic beast... darn it!" Gruntilda groaned in response to realizing she didn't rhyme as well as she could've. "Just get in there and mess with them! Once the final test is forced to completion, I'll join and attempt to capture the Entei with my new and refined Capture Styler! And Clyde? You'll be in charge of being the guard."
"Peh, fine. I still don't get why I can't be the one to catch the Entei, but I can still catch something strong in there," Clyde complained as he then went into the place along with his siblings, which Tiffany was still concerned, especially after seeing what the Magearna Ranger was capable of doing on her own with that nasty arm cannon.
"M-Maybe this isn't that good of an idea... what if she blasts you to bits? She completely trounced my find in Registeel, if we try to attack her, it'll just make her angrier," Tiffany said with concern.
"Calm down, Tiffany. I'm telling you that whatever she's capable of doing, that Gruntilda girl is capable of way worse. We both saw what she could do, we need to do this to protect our pop," Garrett frowned at his younger sister.
"Regardless, we have our mission. We'll have some lackeys guard the door to the fourth and final trial. And we'll go in and anger the Pokemon champion of said trial. Once we do so, we'll give the all-clear and have Grunty come in and do her work," Billy said with seriousness, them then proceeding to the area in question as they happened to see the duo of Rangers going into the 2nd trial. They had to be quick about it.
All three of the trials we went through were quite easy and entertaining, with the only issue being how Flygon was by far the hardest of the three to capture, due to his insanely fast flying speeds and his immunity to electric attacks. Regardless, we then went out of the place and I suggested something to Lunick.
"Hey, how about we go check out the 4th trial? Not to complete it, but to check up on it?" I asked, Lunick smiling at that.
"Sounds good to me, but we should probably resort to your being able to talk to the Pokemon to calm it down, just in case. I'm positive that if we did a capture of the Pokemon that it'd count, so try to talk to it instead, try to find out what would happen if the trial is cleared," he said, me nodding at that as we then went to where the two researchers had appeared to out of nowhere and that the door was now clear for us to go into. And when we did, we then saw that the rules pillar was destroyed and that the words were barely visible from the damage. We then went ahead and we saw that the Quads were ahead of us... and I actualy witnessed them do something horrid to the Charizard. They were whipping him!
"HEY! STOP THAT!" I shouted, the four then looking at me with a smile.
"Pokemon a-go-go! If you're in a hurry, stop in your tracks!" Garrett said, me then responding by immediately taking the capture styler out of my arm and aiming my arm cannon at them, giving a small, tiny warning shot to Garrett's foot before he could finish his solo. "ACK! Hey! Watch where you point that thing!" he shouted at me.
"I could say the same thing to you, abuser! How would you like it if you got a whip cracked on your backside?!" I asked him in anger, which the Charizard was definitely pissed, but they'd actually hurt it to the point it couldn't actually move!
"We're just doing our job. And we don't need to explain ourselves to you at all," Billy said, me frowning at him and then shooting a small shot right at his guitar that was in his hand, absolutely demolishing it and for him to gasp in shock.
"I can also have this set to a paralyzing shot, making you numb to the point you can't move at all. So here's how we do this. You four clear out of here, but not before you drop those whips, drop your stupid instruments, and stop hurting this innocent Pokemon!" I growled, them then frowning at me as Tiffany then did one single string of her Styler and I saw that Charizard was immediately under her control! The Charizard was then forced off the ground and, with tons of wounds all over his body and his wings, he was forced to fly at me, me then going into his mind and speaking to him.
"Charizard! Snap out of it! If you move too much at this state, you're going to die!" I shouted, the Charizard growling and then sending a flume of fire at me, which I boosted out of the way as Lunick looked like he was about to send out his Styler and I shouted back at him. "Don't capture him, Lunick! I want to do this with words!" I shouted, him then gawking and holstering his Styler, me then flying myself to Charizard's backside and him then roaring at me angrily.
"GET OFF OF ME! THE PAIN!" he shouted in fury, me then speaking to him as I got a Hyper potion from my belongings.
"This might sting a little, but you'll heal instantly!" I shouted before I then sprayed the potion all over his wounds, him then roaring out a giant flume of fire from his mouth in response to the burning pain on him, before then crashing into the ground on one of the platforms, him then seething as he then stood in place and looked at me in anger.
"Charizard! What are you doing?! I command you to burn that ranger to ashes!" Tiffany shouted, the Charizard growling angrily and not doing a thing for her.
"It hurts to disobey her words... I need to put effort into NOT listening to her! You have no choice, you need to capture me!" Charizard shouted, me then dodging out of the way of a Fire Blast, me then sighing at that and then going to Tiffany and slamming my flying body into her, which she gasped at as she then actually dropped her violin and, before she could grab it, Emolga sent a Thunderbolt attack at it, which made it explode into at least 19 pieces, the Charizard then gasping out a flume of smoke and me then looking at the Quads in anger.
"I will say this one more time, you tacky jerks! Put your arms down, or I'm going to drop you all to the ground," I growled, that making the remaining ones do just that and run off in an instant, but then Billy spoke to me as he rushed down.
"It's already too late, you idiots! The fourth trial was completed when Tiffany captured him! It never said anything about one Ranger doing it alone! So long as the four trials are done in a 24 hour time limit, the calamity will happen! You've already lost!" Billy shouted, them managing to escape in the process, but Lunick looked shocked.
"Is that... they just abused the Charizard for kicks and giggled, didn't they?!" he asked in shock.
"Rgh... they were not mincing their words... the volcano will now activate and Entei will be reborn... you'll need to escape before the lava comes through," Charizard said with concern, me frowning at that statement.
"Not on your life, Charizard. We know what they're going to do. They're going to try and make Entei under their control to destroy Summerland and blame it on the Rangers! If they succeed, they plan to be the new rulers of Fiore and eventually the globe! We need to stay here and get Entei to safety before that happens," I said, him then smiling a toothy grin before then wincing a bit in pain.
"You truly are a fine hero... be careful of possible rockfalls... you'll have three minutes and counting before the volcano activates. I recommend getting to a high vantage point," he said, me nodding as I then led myself, Lunick, and our partners out of the room and for us to see that the Entei statue was now completely missing, me then grabbing onto Lunick.
"Little guys, grab on and hold tight. I'm going to have us hover closer to the ceiling," I said, them nodding and clinging to our clothes and bodies as I then hovered off the ground further and waiting in the air as I saw it happen. In place of the water, lava poured out of the cracks in the ground and in the walls, going into the water, solidifying it, and creating enough space for new lava to be in the place of the water! Numerous rockfalls fell from the ceiling and blocked off numerous pathways around the place, and finally, the place became flooded with fire type Pokemon! And the biggest one of all appeared out of thin air on the pedestal in place of the statue!
"No way! Is that an Entei?!" I heard Aria shout, me seeing that she looked around in shock as the Entei then bounded towards the northern cliff face, me then gawking at how I saw Gruntilda then enter that very same alcove, me rushing our group that way minus Aria, feeling she'd be safe on her lonesome. I flew our group through the cavern twice over in time to see Gruntilda bring out her own Super Styler in the form of a broomstick, me then shooting a blast at it! But Gruntilda heard the blast fire and managed to retreat the stick in time for the blast to miss it and instead hit the wall! I then wasted no time and proceeded to capture the Entei with my Styler, needing to be careful not to hit any fire pillars that he summoned! And once I captured the Entei, Gruntilda only then tried to capture it with the Super Styler, her then gawking at how it wouldn't work!
"GACK! It's YOU?! What the heck are you doing here?!
Can't you just let me bring everyone fear?!" she asked in anger and in rhyme.
"Not on your life, Winkybunion!" I growled, her then gawking at me.
"How did you know my last name?!
The only ones who would... have played my game...
YOU COME FROM THE REAL WORLD?!" she shouted in anger, that making me stay in place, completely stunned at how she not only revealed the BIGGEST part of the secret to Lunick, but also completely obliterated the fourth wall!
"You what?! What do you mean 'real world'?!" Lunick asked in shock.
"Oh, didn't you know, little twerp?
She's from a world where you're nothing but a derp
A character in a fictional game
Not a care in the world except personal fame," Gruntilda growled, me frowning at that and getting mad.
"That is absolutely not true, and you know it! I played those games to have fun and immerse myself in a world that wasn't my own! And you are the absolute last person I'd want to immerse with in any which way! What I don't understand is what the heck you're doing in this world instead of in your own, or heck, even the game factory from the last installment," I growled, her then snickering at that.
"Oh? You mean that factory where I was forced to make games?
A simple money maker, but it was very lame!
I just usurped the LOG and took his powers
To invade another world, my finest hour!" she cackled, me frowning at her as she then proceeded to use one of her numerous spells, it being one that I was surprised by. Her magical barrier! She then ran full-steam ahead at me, which... I was confused at, but I made my group avoid it all the same before she could slam into us.
"HEY! Where's your flight, ya hag?" I asked, her then stopping in place after and giving me a nasty glare, which I still felt was much more sinister in her new, hot form instead of her original ugly form.
"I don't need to explain myself to a ruiner like you! I'm outta here! Next stop, world domination! I already know my Styler can capture a Legendary with ease with Tiffany's capture of a Registeel, and I know of another one that I can capture in this region! I'll catch you like a cold, never!" she sneered before running down the path, leaving me, Lunick, our partners, and the Entei to stay in the room alone.
"What... was all that?" I heard Aria ask, me gawking at how she was actually hiding on the other side of the cave and out of sight of Gruntilda completely.
"Um... how much of that did you happen to hear?" I asked her.
"Enough to know that you're way too different than the rest of us... tell the whole truth, right now. You know something that we don't, right?" she asked, me sighing at her in defeat.
"Before that, I need to release Entei... Entei, be careful from here on out. That ugly witch is sure to try and capture you in the future... and sorry for completing the final trial, I had no control over that," I admitted.
"It is quite alright, hybrid hero. I needed that wake-up call for awhile... I've been trapped in stone for almost 500 years, and I need to meet up with my brothers in Raikou and Suicune. We'll try to forge a plan to defeat the green one from afar... until then, farewell," he said before then bounding off out of the ruins and proceeding to go to the podium in the center and give a loud roar of pride, causing a few more bits of lava to spew into the place, as well as more water? Maybe he was making the place more habitable to the Pokemon rather than just a volcano? Regardless, he then bounded off faster than we could see, me knowing he'd be safe from Gruntilda for now.
"Okay, start talking," Aria frowned, me sighing at her.
"Okay, yes... I come from a world that not only knows everything about Gruntilda's reality... but also this one. This adventure was called Pokemon Ranger, and it was SUPPOSED to be Gordor who was the main villain, him being the father of the Quads and a former colleague of Professor Hastings... but I still need to know how Gruntilda got here to this world when she was from another universe entirely... I know my reason was because of Team Rocket meddling, but Gruntilda is not only completely different in looks, but it seemed... she had weaker powers than before? She'd NEVER have ran off with her shield, she would've flew out of range with levitation and fired spells of fire at us. She could even use a special spell to kill another person and remove their spirit from their bodies as a separate entity... she could've very easily killed us if she had full access... so she must be more limited in her arsenal in this world," I said, needing to use the mind machine for all of it, as I needed to think my words for now.
"She said something about a factory, and a log... you know what that's about?" Aria asked.
"LOG stands for Lord of Games, the overseer of video game creation in Gruntilda's world of origin. She must've somehow stolen his powers and came to this world with those same powers, or, at the very least, teleported here with them. But if that were true, she'd also have way more strong abilities than she would now, as she'd be able to pause time for everyone but herself, make things appear out of thin air, and, again, levitation... and though I'd love to explain more about the differences, I'll only say this. Just because I knew of everything, it doesn't mean that it'll happen the exact same. For example, Registeel wouldn't have been caught by Tiffany, we wouldn't have multiple squad members captured, I would've never found a 5-inch Celebi in the forest, and the Quads wouldn't have whipped a Charizard to the point it couldn't even move a muscle," I said with anger at the last bit.
"I see... so, the calamity part... you didn't do it on your own, did you?" Aria asked. Lunick responded for me.
"No, that was a loophole. Tiffany caught the Charizard and the rules, according to the Quad's leader, stated that each trial needed to be completed once each in 24 hours for the calamity to happen. It didn't need to be us, any of the Quads could've captured that Charizard and blamed it on us, but they wanted us to capture it to make it more believable. And we only managed to save Entei in the nick of time, as if we hadn't have caught him before Gruntilda, she would've tried to use him to destroy all of Summerland and everyone on it," Lunick said, Aria gawking at that.
"I... apologize for thinking wrongly of you, then... we should get out of here and give the message to Cameron and the others about what happened. And that Gruntilda is trying to go after areas with Legendaries in them," Aria frowned, us then leaving all at the same time and proceeding back to Summerland with a bit of tension between us. I needed to make it up to all of us for not saying the whole truth, so I simply said one thing as we got down the giant ivy wall.
"Just so we're clear, I didn't say the whole truth at first because, if I did, everyone would think I was crazy. Would you have really believed me if I said that I knew what to expect right out of the gate? Be honest, both of you," I said, them frowning at that.
"Tsk... yeah... you make a good point... even now, I still have trouble believing it... but after seeing that lady? I believe everything about this. No human alive has green skin except for that witch, so I believe all of it now... but how does she know about the 'real world'?" Lunick asked.
"Because her world is more aware of its existence being a video game than anything involving this one. The closest that happened was when a main character battled the creator of the Pokemon multiverse, Arceus," I explained.
"I got it... so it's like when a comic book character actually makes jokes about how they're in a comic book? But in this case, it's a game character?... Just tell me one thing. You didn't see me or anyone else in the nude, right?" Aria frowned.
"The games were rated for children and older. Do you really think that a 5-year-old would play a game and see a naked person in it? Only in a backwards world would that happen at all. Pokemon games never go into explicit territory, and even if they do, it's more along the lines of dark subject matter like death or some of the criminal organizations' misdeeds, prime example being Team Plasma of the Unova Region," I said, that making Aria spit on the ground after a scoff.
"Augh! Do not even mention the name of that horrid syndicate! Not only do they abuse Pokemon, they planned to rule the world by making everyone defenseless and stealing their Pokemon!" she growled.
"Indeed. If they would've succeeded, they would've even stolen all the Pokemon that were in the PCs," I said.
"Despicable, indeed... regardless, I won't say anything about this to anyone, but you will tell me that this adventure has a good ending... right?" Lunick asked.
"Only if we can manage to defeat Gruntilda, which requires us to do three things. One, halt all productions of her Super Styler replicas. Two, steal back the Super Styler prototype she's been using as the basis. And three, completely destroy all of her new and improved Super Styler variants, including the one she was going to use on Entei. And after all of that is done, we need to arrest her and put her into prison, and get round-the-clock surveillance for her," I frowned.
"A tall task, but one I'm willing to assist with," Aria said.
"Us too! We don't want to be ruled by that green goblin!" Emolga shouted in anger.
"Yeah, what she said!" Dedenne said after.
