Upon arrival to the Sekra Range, I proceeded through the place and caught some Pokemon such as a Piloswine, a Kangaskhan, an Altaria, and a Tangela. And after going far enough, defeating small grunts on the way, I managed to actually cuff two of them and simply had them lay on the ground, knowing that the other rangers would be coming in soon. And if others in their group saw them, even better for a distraction! After going up the mountain to the point I was getting tired and resorted to the jet feet, I then gawked at how the Charizard from prior was flying overhead and he then proceeded to char a ton of trees!

"Charizard! Hold on!" I shouted, him growling at me as he then landed on the ground and roared angrily.

"AUGH! I'm still in pain! Just stay still and let me burn you!" he growled, me then avoiding his fire flume, proceeding to have Emolga zap him with a Zap Cannon attack, which paralyzed the big dragon for long enough to let me circle him 14 times, more than enough for a capture! And after doing so, I then calmed him down from doing so and then sprayed him with my ONLY Full Restore, him then sighing as I also saw that his left leg wasn't healing something that I only just then noticed. "Ah, I see what the problem here, is. Your ankle's been twisted and possibly broken a foot... and it seems that the Full Restore doesn't heal it," I frowned, me then seeing the sight of Aria appear from the west, her sighing afterwards.

"Whew, thanks for catching him. He almost busted my Styler," Aria admitted.

"I don't know what your current job is right now, Aria, but this Charizard needs urgent medical attention. His leg may be broken, and the Full Restore isn't fixing it," I said, her nodding.

"It's the one from the jungle ruins, isn't it? The fourth challenge?" Charizard snorted and nodded with smoke coming from his nose.

"Yes, can you help him out?" I asked, her nodding at that.

"I can assist right now, in fact. I have spare medical supplies and I can do fix him up good as new," she smirked, Charizard then sighing as he simply laid down.

"You're going to be okay, Charizard. She's trustworthy, I promise," I smirked at him as I petted his head.

"I am in your debt once again, hybrid friend... go save the world," he smirked, me nodding as I then went up the giant amounts of stairs up the cliff, me then going to the waterfalls and using the jet feet in order to get to the other side, me then releasing the Pokemon in my group as I proceeded to find the cliff wall that would lead to the hidden base. I then went up nearly the entire cliff wall before I then heard the sounds of the elevator come up, me then hiding myself on the cliff wall as I heard a voice.

"Argh, this is one of the worst jobs I've ever taken. Being forced to search for a ghost girl loose in the Sekra Range... doesn't that green goblin know I'm terrified of ghosts? Why did I have to be stuck with this gig?" said the voice of a random grunt, me staying down on the bottom before then hearing something next to me, a little bit of creepy giggling.

"Heeheehee! Don't worry, they'll never catch me," said the voice of none other than Pico, me looking to my right to see the half-visible ghost girl was simply floating right next to me.

"Okay, time to go and find her, or whatever," he said, me then smirking as Pico went through the cliff face and then, right as soon as the Grunt was about to climb down the wall, not only did he see me, but at the same time, Pico made a creepy sound.

"BWWWWAAAAAAHHHHH! ! !" she shouted like a Raving Rabbid, which managed to make the guy so spooked, he ended up falling off the cliff and needing to catch a Gligar to prevent himself from breaking any bones on the fall down!

"Good job, now they're going to be onto us, Pico," I frowned, her then gasping at that.

"How did you know my name?" she asked.

"Two reasons, actually. One, I learned that you're being hunted by Gruntilda as a source of magic power. And two, because... I saw your adventures during the time of Venti, which included your adventures with Leon, Amber, Dylas, and especially Dolce," I said, her then gasping before then sighing. "I uh... I'm sorry, probably shouldn't have said that..." I apologized after.

"It's fine... I just didn't expect you to know that about me... may I ask if we could stick together? I feel I can trust you in case that green wart bag sees me," she said, me nodding as she then proceeded to do the impossible and hide in my shadow, her appearance coming from it instead. I then went to the base itself and, before going inside, I proceeded to have Emolga use a thunderbolt on the Grunt at the bottom of the rock wall, just to make sure he wouldn't follow after us. And after assuring he was paralyzed, we then went inside and, afterwards, I then gave the information to Elita.

"Contacting Leader Elita, I am in the base. Look for a large, lonely boulder on the western cliff face of the waterfalls. There's a secret button hidden on it," I explained.

"Good job! Now it's time to go through the base and cause a distraction by making them see that you are there," she said, me nodding as I proceeded to go to the alarm system and saw that the alarms were set to go off the moment you stepped on ANY of the tiles! And there was a passcode in order to get past everything, it being another 6=digit code. And this one was giving a hint as to what it was.

"To turn off the alarms, you idiot dolts:

Give the release date of Nuts and Bolts!" the rhyme said, me smirking at that. No one would know that EXCEPT for those she actually trained to know, or me, because I knew the date, as it was as simple as my photographic memory. I then input the code as 111108, me smiling at how the alarms then were disabled, allowing myself, Pico, and Emolga to go out into the alarm-tile areas and move through the area with zero issue! And after passing through all of it, I then got to the other side, where I saw another grunt was only then reingaging the alarm systems, me smirking as I then proceeded to tackle her into the alarm systems, therefore making it short-circuit to the point that the alarms were blaring everywhere!

"ACK! You stupid ranger! Now I'm going to be fired for sure!' she groaned, me smirking as I then proceeded to go to the next part of the area, right before the big door closed up. And once I did, I then started to run through the complex, making an absolute mess of everything in the process by not only demolishing the place and wrecking the furniture, but also from Pico making creepy messages with ketchup in place of blood, and all for the prospect of being a spook. Such messages include. "I'm here, now scream", "It's time to play a game", I'm going to get you", and my personal favorite. "I WANT YOUR BABY TEETH!"

"You're really getting into this, I can tell, Pico," I smirked.

"Oh crud, I just met you and I didn't even ask your name yet," she smirked.

"I'm Beth Woods, and I'm actually in a similar situation to you, Leah, Quincess, and Humba-Wumba," I smiled, her gawking at that. "The only difference is that my world knew about the outcomes of each of the worlds you girls came from."

"Far out! So, does that mean you know anything about how Dolly's doing?" she asked.

"That is something I don't know, considering that you were brought here instead of being in your world of origin and staying there... but don't worry, I'll protect you," I said, her smiling at that as we then went further into the complex and eventually found Lunick in the areas where the road would lead to the Quads, him proceeding to have a Sneasle chop up a fence for us.

"Oh, hey there, Beth! I got to help out, too! Let's find those bad guys together!... Wait... who's the ghost girl?' he asked.

"I'm Pico, and miss Beth is protecting me from Gruntilda Hagmush Winkybunion. And yes, that is her full name, use it and she'll be mortified, heehee!" Pico giggled as we then went through the first door and we saw that Tiffany was there and, get this, she had captured a Volcanion! I immediately proceeded to shoot the violin while her back was turned to me, which made her gasp as she was sent to the ground from the blast and she then gasped when she saw us.

And Vokcanion? After realizing it was freed, he immediately rushed out of the place by going out of an escape hatch behind her, which Tiffany looked at me in fear.

"Don't even think about it, or you're going to be charged with resisting arrest and fleeing police," I said, her then noticing my shadow and then smirking a wicked grin. And I then knew I had to do something fast.

Right before Tiffany got out a small device, I tackled her to the ground and proceeded to wrestle with her, Tiffany managing to get a few punches into my human side before then shouting in my ear.

"I WILL CATCH HER! I NEED TO SAVE MY BROTHERS!" she shouted, me then screaming from the pain of her shouting in my ear, which was more than enough time for her to push the button on the device and for me to then gasp as Pico was then literally dragged out of my shadow and she looked to be fighting a force of impressive suction!

"HELP! S-SHE'S SUCKING ME INTO A RELIC!" she shouted, me then attempting to attack her, but it was too late. We watched in horror as the artifact, it being an ancient-looking snowglobe, managed to suck Pico into it and Tiffany then proceeded to run out the door, tackling Lunick to the side of the room in the process! I immedaitely picked up my partners and rushed after Tiffany, following after her the whole way into the throne room, where I was shocked to see that not only was Billy there alongside Tiffany, but Gruntilda was as well, and she had Pico in her grasp, the now diminutive spirit looking afraid for her life and trying to smack her way through the glass to no avail.

"Well well, my little pretties. Looks like I have the advantage! Now I must be on my way. Billy, dear, do stop them from following after me. I've got plans for world domination to attend to!" Gruntilda snickered as she then proceeded to jump down an escape hatch, me gasping at that and growling at Billy.

"Look, it's nothing personal to you or the spooky kid, rangers. If we didn't do this, then Grunty said she'd kill Garret and Clyde. She showed us that she has them shrunk in a jar," he said, me frowning as I then called up a boss.

"Joel, come in. I need you to prove that Garret and Clyde are at the Fall City Ranger Base along with Gordor, if you will," I said, me then putting it on speaker and for the response to make the duo of siblings in front of us gasp.

"Guys, we're okay, trust us. We got caught by the rangers at the factory this morning," Garret said and for Clyde to speak after.

"And we were told that, if we tell them any info on Gruntilda, we'd be given community service at the most," he said, which made Tiffany and Billy to gasp before then growling.

"Why I... THAT STUPID WITCH LIED TO US! WHAT HAVE WE DONE?!" Tiffany shouted in anger as she then slammed her foot into the ground, me frowning at that.

"Well, only one thing to do now," Billy frowned as he then got onto the horn of the PA systems and spoke into it. "Attention all members of our squad! It's time to take action! Gruntilda has been lying to us from the start! She's only in this for herself, and none of us! First order of business, grab your belongings and your Pokemon and clear out of this place. The self-destruct sequence will begin in 15 minutes! If anyone is here when the blast goes off, you won't survive. Countdown starts now," Billy said as he then proceeded to set the timer, me then getting a message from Spencer in the process.

"Lunick, Beth! I managed to secure the prototype! I'll assist in getting the Pokemon out of here, you focus on going after Gruntilda! Show her not to mess with the Rangers, the Pokemon, or our beloved Fiore!" he shouted, me nodding at him and looking at Billy and Tiffany with a frown.

"Go to Fall City's ranger base ASAP. You'll be taken into protective custody. If Gruntilda manages to siphon magic from Pico, she'll be almost unstoppable. We can handle it from here," I said, them nodding at me.

"If you succeed in this, we'll take any punishment you want to give us! But know that we will rise again, as a new group, for peace," she said, me nodding at that. Lunick and I then rushed out of the complex and into the escape hatch, Emolga then beginning to sniff the ground in order to track Gruntilda's tracks. And after following the trail for long enough, we found ourselves at the exterior of the other side of the mountain, me gawking at how it had a staircase that would lead us to the very top of the mountain, right at the entryway to the final temple battle area!

"We got to get up there as fast as possible. Hope on, Lunick, I'll fly us up there," I said, him nodding as he wrapped his arms around my waist and I proceeded to fly our group the whole way up the tower and to the very top, me then doing it a bit extra and flying the whole way to the top of the temple to see that Gruntilda had already set up her finished organ and that Pico had since been contained inside of a containment pod that was proceeding to siphon her magic into a mechanical witch hat!

"HEY! GRUNTILDA HAGMUSH!" I shouted, her then gasping and growling at me saying that.

"HOW DID YOU LEARN THAT?!" she growled at me.

"I told them, you green gremlin!" Pico growled, Gruntilda then snarling and proceeding to play on her organ, me then gawking at how, after she did so, a trio of Legendary Pokemon appeared in front of us, me seeing that, rather than it being Entei, Raikou, and Suicune, it was instead Cresselia, Regidrago, and Regieleki!

"As you can see, my little pests
I am now the wicked witch of the best!
Legendaries obey my every command!
And with them, all of Fiore will be damned!" she cackled.

"LANGUAGE! This is a children's game!" I growled at her.

"Not on my watch, you little brat!

Now, watch this witch's next attack!

Cresselia, show them the power you possess

And give all of Fiore a long, shallow rest!" she sneered as she then proceeded to play the tune on her organ of the final boss theme of the first game, me growling as I proceeded to capture Cresselia via Emolga zapping her with Zap Cannon and, afterwards, I circled her about 12 times and caught her instantly, Cresselia then disappearing in a flash as Gruntilda growled.

"Hmph! You seem to be better at this than I thought.

But now you'll be kicked right in the plot!

That's a horse joke, but a dragon is your foe.

Send nuclear blasts at Fall City, Regidrago!" Gruntilda shouted. But before Regidrago could do just that, Lunick's Dedenne rushed in and proceeded to use Dazzling Gleam on the dragon type, which was enough to blind Regidrago! And after he was blinded, I proceeded to loop him about 13 times, but before I was finished with my loops, the dragon-type Regi, in its blindness, pointed his gun right at Gruntilda's organ!

"NO!" she shouted before hitting the deck! If she were even a second too slow, Regidrago's blast would've demolished her as well! Now the Ultimate Styler was busted, along with half the cliff wall behind us! I then finished catching Regidrago and, after this, Regieleki looked to be... furious. Thunderclouds raged above us as Pico was finally freed from her machine and, before Grunty could grab it, Pico stole the magic hat machine and absorbed all the magic it stole right back into her! "CURSE YOU, YOU STUPID LITTLE-" she was about to shout before Regieleki then growled angrily.

"FURY! MUST! DESTROY! WITCH!" it shouted like a robot before then locking its sights right on Gruntilda and proceeding to try and send out an attack her with Thunder Cage! I then immediately rushed in and pushed Gruntilda to the side, me then shouting in pure agony as I took the full brunt of the attack and I felt like I were being electrocuted on all sides by the painful attack!

"Rgh... GRAGH!" I shouted as Gruntilda looked at me in fear, me then growling as I then proceeded to, in my pain, grab my Styler and for Magearna to come out of nowhere.

"Stay strong, Beth! Don't wimp out now!" she shouted, her then proceeding to send out our Styler and wave it around like it were a paintbrush, evading all of Regieleki's attacks flawlessly until, after circling it a total of 12 times, the titan of electricity was captured and its rage had subsided, me then finally taking a knee as I felt like I were ready to just pass out.

"I... I don't believe it..." Gruntilda gawked before Lunick went to the witch and then proceeded to cuff her. "You pushed me out of the way of an attack that would've killed me. How stupid are you?" she asked, me then managing to pick myself up, but only from Pico coming over and giving me her small frame as a crutch of sorts.

"O-Oh... and how can you be able to touch me? No one is able to, not even other Pokemon," Pico said as I then sighed and panted.

"I'm not just a hybrid of human and Pokemon... not a hybrid of Beth and Magearna..." I groaned as I then wearily put my thumb to a forced smile. "I'm a Ranger of Kindness. I'm not going to let anyone die for any reason, even someone as nasty and vile as Gruntilda," I said, her then growling at me.

"You dare call me ugly?!" she growled.

"Oh no, you're not ugly," I said, her then looking at me in confusion. "You already made sure that your outward appearance looks hot as heck... by basically deforming an innocent Gardevoir... to the point she needed put out of her misery... your outside may look gorgeous for a witch... but deep down, you're nothing but disgust, vile, and hatred. If you really were beautiful, you'd make an effort to be courteous to others... not treat them like the filth that you are..." I growled, her then frowning at me. "And if you really think that I'm going to give a crap about you, I'm sure that all of your list of crimes will net you with the chair," I said, her then gasping at that.

"C-Chair?" she asked.

"Yes, chair. As in, execution. Only the worst criminals get put up for that," Lunick frowned. "And trying to rule the world and try to kill an entire city of innocent people? That would net you the chair, if Officer Jenny sees it as a fitting end," he growled.

"But there is another way, the only true way to get rid of a witch," I frowned, her then being concerned. "Which would you prefer? Being shocked to the point your nervous system dies followed by the rest of you? Or burned at the stake like the witch you are?" I asked, her gulping.

"Are you saying those are my only options? C-Come on, I can change, please," she said with concern, me frowning at her.

"You've had plenty of time to do so after being stuck under a boulder, even more time stuck as a skull, and yet even more time stuck in a video game factory. You've had multiple chances and you've yet to learn. But as I said, let the courts decide," I frowned, her then gulping and proceeding to get escorted by me and Lunick down the pyramid and to the lower parts of the temple. And when the remaining squad members saw that we had Gruntilda in cuffs and that she was actually crying, they all either ran for the hills or just followed us and gave up. By the time we finally got to the true entryway, we saw that Spencer was there alongside Cameron and Elita.

"You... You did it," Cameron gawked.

"You actually not only saved Gruntilda, but also saved all of Fiore!" Elita smiled.

"Consider this a mission accomplished, Lunick and Beth!" Spencer smiled widely. I simply chuckled before I then fell down and fell asleep.

After waking up, I had learned that Gruntilda had managed to be sent to prison and was currently awaiting trial for her crimes. And after enjoying some MUCH needed time off, I was called as a witness to the hearing of sentencing Gruntilda for her list of crimes, as well as being the one in charge of assigning the other squad members their punishments. In the end, after hearing everything that I had to say, alongside other victims such as Pico, Lunick, the other Quads, Gordor, and Humba-Wumba, we then got the verdict from the judge, who just so happened to be the mother of all of the Officer Jenny's in the Fiore region, which I'd learned was also a tradition across the Pokemon world. That the numerous judges of each region were relatives of the Jenny's the weren't Jenny's.

"Gruntilda Winkybunion, please rise," the judge said, which the witch then did so. "For the numerous crimes of Pokemon abuse, kidnapping, grand theft, terrorism, and plotting to rule the world, I hereby sentence you to burning at the stake," the judge said, Gruntilda looking down at the ground the whole time with a visible frown on her face as tears rolled down it as well. "Do you have anything to say before preparations are made?" And Gruntilda's response was palpable.

"I hate you all," she said.

"Very well. This court is adjourned," the judge declared as she banged her gavel and, afterwards, the preparations were made for Gruntilda to be burned in five days, but in a private manner so as not to scare anyone. And during the process, Pico then spoke to me after.

"You think that this may be a bit too dark?" Pico asked.

"I do, but it's just how the system works in this world. It's a whole lot different than your world of origin," I admitted to her.

"I understand... hey, I know it may seem stupid, but I thought you were awesome when you caught those Pokemon and rescued me... I want to sign up to be a Ranger, too," she said, me smiling at that.

"And your age?" I smirked.

"I'm actually 15 in appearance, but I've been around for over 3000 years," she smirked.

"Then you'll be able to join the class alongside my sister, Hush. I can even take you over to the Almia region when I get some well-deserved vacation days," I smiled.

"Oh yay! I can't wait! I heard from Humba-Wumba and that little Celebi that your sister's also a hybrid. Only that she's able to control time," Pico giggled.

"For one minute every five minutes, yes. And she's able to speak with her mind and see with it as well. Only way you'll get her to open her eyes is if you either really surprise her or really make her mad," I smirked.

"I'll try to do both, just to mess with her, heehee!" Pico giggled as she then proceeded to vanish into thin air... before then reappearing. "Um, which town does she live at?" she asked.

"How about we wait until tomorrow, when I can use a ferry instead?" I smirked, her smiling at that.

"You mean I get to go on a boat? I haven't done that since I was alive! I can't wait!" she smirked happily.
