During the truth or dare challenge, we learned a whole lot about each other and did some pretty silly dares. I learned that Willow's mother happened to be a Hatterene, meaning she was able to sense emotions as well as manipulate them. But that's why she was usually very quiet and stoic in nature, as too much emotion would make her go into a blind rage, much like a Hatterene would enter if they felt too many negative emotions, which was the downside of having a parent that was psychic and fairy type.

I also learned that Rhythmi was a halfbreed, but with her, her father happened to be a water type, meaning that Rhythmi had to have way more water than most people consumed, or else she'd end up getting dehydrated very fast. If she was without a supply of water after about 9 hours, she'd start to shrivel up and prune to death. And they were concerned at learning the fact that they'd end up aging to the point they'd become almost like vegetables in their later parts of their life, but I said something to them that they needed to hear, as I read up on it.

"I read something in a book about that stuff. If you happen to have loved ones, or you write it in your will early, you can have your suffering be cut short by telling your loved ones to put you out of your misery if it gets to be too much to handle. So if you end up getting to that point, and it's in your will, you can get some mercy about it rather than suffering," I said in thought.

"Uh... yeah... doesn't make me feel any better, though," Rhythmi sighed before then chugging some water from a bottle.

"Trust me, I know the pain that you feel," said Isaac, me seeing that he was still reading his science book. "My father was a Gallade, and thus, I can tell the difference between truths and lies... but in contrast, I can never speak a lie to anyone. And trust me, that makes life way harder, especially when it concerns my younger sister, Melody... she's fully human, and she's super innocent and sweet... but she also wants to know everything about me, so I need to be careful of what she asks me," Isaac said, me smiling at that.

"That's rough, buddy... having a little sister and having to know that your human dad isn't your real dad... at least you got a big brain fitting of a psychic type, right?" I smiled.

"Yeah, that's true. My IQ and height in centimeters are 163," he smiled.

"Pretty high, I will admit. My IQ never peaked past 90," I admitted. I then wrapped up the game after I had to stuff Keith's sock in my mouth for a total of 10 seconds and then, after, I went to the bathroom, washed out my mouth with brushing and mouthwash TWICE and then finally went to my dorm and read out my most recent letter from my sister, Beth... as well as another one from Grace! I read Beth's first.

"Dear Hush,

I've learned from recent experience that the Pokemon World has been getting a ton of interference due to Rainbow Rocket's numerous interdimensional portals, which have been popping up all over the place. But despite Rainbow Giovanni having been dead since our arrival, I've learned that they have a new leader, it being someone that happens to come from the Dragon Quest universe. His name is Rhapthorne, but don't worry, his power of dimensions and magic is heavily stunted in this universe. I've heard he plans to appear on the card battling scene alongside some new trusted generals. He plans to have his generals and himself become the champions of every single Pokemon Trading Card champion in order to get the funds to continue the Rainbow Rocket thing without anyone to stop them, as if someone wins every single tourney, they can get diplomatic immunity and own Cardopolis.

I have a new ally that happens to come from the Yugioh universe to proceed to that area with a team of different other card creatures to stop Rhapthorne in his tracks. You'll find out soon.

With warm regards, Beth."

I was stunned at how the big bad of the best Dragon Quest game happened to be the one in charge of Team Rainbow Rocket, AND that he was hoping to keep bringing bad guys to this world! And that he wanted to get diplomatic immunity by becoming the ruler of Cardopolis?! I was shocked and knew I needed to let her know some things about my situation as well, so I proceeded to write the letter with my mind in private as I brushed my teeth in the bathroom.

"Dear Beth,

Thank you for letting me know about this. I really hope this plan goes good. I've actually got some news too. Leah is able to destroy the Black Soulstone shards and we've managed to find one of three that are currently around the school, with this one being alone in the principal's room. Most likely it was carelessly placed in the box of brand-new Stylers when Kincaid wanted another sample. And I've also learned some private things about the main group of students as well as a newbie called Willow. Keith is actually quite the sweet boyfriend and he and I are kind of in a relationship, but it's private. We're taking things slow, learning more about each other as we go along.

Also, three of my classmates happen to be halfbreeds, but I'm not going to say who and what their parents happen to be. All I can say is that I'm surprised that one is able to tell lies from truths, another is able to breathe underwater, and the last is able to manipulate and sense your emotions. But each have downsides, with the first being unable to lie about anything, the second needing water within a span of 9 hours before shriveling and dying, and the third having fits of rage if she's surrounded by too much negative emotion. When I become a ranger, I'm going to try my hardest to make some extra laws to give some help for all halfbreeds of human and Pokemon, even if halfbreeding is illegal.

Hugs and tickles, Hush."

After finishing the brushing and flossing, I then simply hid the letter in my pillow and fell asleep, but, since I didn't know what Kincaid would plot next, I asked Celebi a question in thought. If she could be in control of the mind vision for a change as I slept, just in case anyone were to come over to my pillow to snoop.

"I can do that easily, Jennifer," Celebi said to me and only me, which I smiled and fell asleep, me then going to bed...

When I woke up, I was shocked that it was because Celebi forced me awake and that, when I did wake up, it was with Celebi holding Kiki in a mental grasp, me gasping at how she had my letter in her hand and she was actually about to open it and read it! And that everyone else was asleep and that Kiki was prevented from speaking with her mouth.

"Tsk, tsk... reckless youth is my pet peeve," I said with my mind to Kiki alone, her wincing at me. "Thanks, Celebi. You, me, Kiki, let's have a chat in the girl's bathroom," I said, me then simply walking out of the dorms quietly with Kiki being held by Celebi's powers, meaning I had to use my actual eyes in order to manuever through the dark classroom halls. I then found the girl's bathroom and had our trio stay in the place as I then locked myself and Kiki in the girl's shower stall and spoke to her.

"Okay, Kiki. I'm going to have Celebi stop holding you with her mind. And when I do, you need to keep quiet and calm. I want an explanation as to why you were trying to snoop around my stuff. Okay?" I asked, Kiki gulping and nodding as best she could, me then having Celebi stop the telekinesis and for Kiki to sigh a breath of relief. She then began to shiver as I saw it. She was scared.

"I... I'm so sorry... M-Mister Kincaid... h-he... he said he was going to make you pay... he thinks you found a special item called a Black Shard... and he thinks you know too much about something involving him... I... I found out what it was when he took me to the basement... if I don't bring him back any evidence against you... h-he... he said he'd..." she sniffed in absolute fear, me frowning as I read her mind and saw it for myself. If she didn't bring him evidence about me being a bad student or that I'd either been plotting against him or that I stole the Black Shard, then she was going to be considered as a test subject for the big Black Soulstone that was currently in hiding in a secret location, right in the basement of the Altru Tower. And she might not escape with her life, considering that Malthael might be in that stone.

"I see what you mean, you didn't need to say it," I said, her sniffing at me as I then simply went ahead and did something. I proceeded to give her some falsified evidence. I wrote a second letter that was addressed to the Ranger Union, letting them know that I'd found and destroyed a dangerous black gem that, when a thief touched it, it made him possessed by greed and it held a dangerous creature within it. And that it was destroyed by me via me disintegrating it with my psychic mind. And that I also sensed two more in that school, both of them being in the building itself.

"Give him this letter as opposed to the one that I was having in my pillow. The one in the pillow has personal info about my friends, no blackmail against me whatsoever. I'll take any punishment he wishes to dish out, and I can call his bluff easily. If he does ANYTHING to mess with you, come to me first and foremost. He's a villain, and possessed by a monster of deceit. Do not do what he teaches you to do if it happens to be for evil," I said, her nodding at that.

"R-Right... I'm not allowed to talk about what he teaches... but it isn't nice stuff, that much I can say... he talks about how Pokemon are to be used for strength and power, and that if we tell Isaac that he taught us that stuff, he'd ruin all of our lives and send us to jail... but why?" Kiki asked.

"He's trying to groom Isaac into being a puppet, by the sounds of it. But we need to find cold hard evidence against him, which we can't really do at this time, as he and Isaac are very dedicated to a secret task. If Kincaid has his way, all of Almia and beyond will be threatened by darkness... don't speak a word of this and ask Lamont if you can transfer to Ms April's class. She teaches ranger and operator stuff WAY better than Kincaid does," I said, her sniffing and nodding at me.

"Okay, thanks," she sighed in relief as she then left the bathrooms alongside me, but only after I sensed outside for anyone. No one at all, so I had our duo exit together and then, at the dorms, I silently went into my room and pretended to be asleep while Kiki went down the stairs with the fake evidence in hand. And just to make sure, I used my mind to check my letter... and yep, it was mine, as it said 'Dear Beth' as opposed to 'For the Ranger Union'.

When I woke up for class the very next day, Kincaid was quick to stop me before I was to go to class and tried to get me in major trouble with Mister Lamont with the letter I provided to Kiki. But I saw that he twisted all the words to make me sound like I was accusing Mister Kincaid about being a horrible person and that I needed to be expelled!

"Tell me, Kincaid, what kind of horrible person happens to try and threaten his own students?" Lamont asked, which Kincaid gasped at. "And then, being demanded to find evidence, or they'll essentially be tortured? Kiki told me everything and I do believe that I should run a MUCH tighter shift at this school," Lamont said.

"Y-You can't believe her! She's conspiring against me just as well!" Kincaid shouted angrily.

"Does that also include Ponte, Jillian, Belinda, and the rest of your students aside from Isaac? Because they all came forward alongside Kiki and told me that you're not teaching the right ideals of what a Ranger should be," Lamont said, Kincaid growling and smacking his fist into the desk. "Do that again, and see where it gets you. You've already lost your job, if you vandalize school property, you can be jailed," Lamont growled, which Kincaid then growled angrily.

"You can't fire me! AUGH! That tears it! I WILL have my revenge, just you wait, you little pixie shit!" Kincaid shouted at me, which I then frowned at him angrily and decided to say something to him.

"If I'm pixie shit, you're the one who tried to throw it at the wall and see if it would stick. And it didn't, so I win," I frowned at him, speaking the whole thing with both my mouth and my eyes open, me then responding by simply using telekinesis to pick him up and slam him into the walls at least three times before slamming him into the ground. "And you didn't stick either, it seems. How depressing," I frowned, him then growling and getting out of the room angrily. And I then looked from afar and saw he was speaking to Isaac again. Telling him to continue work on the device without him and to NEVER allow anyone into the basement. And that if he did find out that someone besides Isaac was going to the basement, he'd kill them!

"I... Okay, Mister Kincaid..." Isaac said, me seeing he was actually afraid at that statement and I then heard one moe sentence from Kincaid.

"And if you try and weasle out of this, your sister will pay the price," Kincaid said, me frowning at how he just made Isaac so scared, he immediately rushed into the basement and locked himself in there!

"Lamont, I need to do enact a new rule from here, because I overheard Kincaid's true colors," I said with my mouth, which Lamont came to my side in surprise. "Kincaid told Isaac to continue work on something secret in the basement while the madman was fired. And if he found out that anyone aside from Isaac was in that basement, that he'd kill them... and if Isaac refused or didn't deliver on the project, that his little sister would pay the price," I said, Lamont gasping at that.

"W-We need to call the-" he was about to say before I halted him.

"NO! Don't call anyone. Kincaid has helpers who can spy for him, I'm sure of it. If he sees that anything is awry, then the whole school could be killed, Pokemon included! We need to do this differently," I said, me then breathing in and sighing out. "From here on out, I'm going to request that a trusted staff member stand guard of the basement and prevent anyone from going down there. As for Isaac, he's pretty much secluded himself down there in fear for his sister's life. So, to make sure he doesn't starve to death, I'm going to try and talk to him with my mind... see if I can convince him to emerge from there to get food and drink if I delivered it to the top step," I said, Lamont sighing at that.

"That's... probably the only safe plan we can do... how are you so wise?" Lamont asked me in surprise.

"I'm part psychic type mythical Pokemon and I am much more mature for my age, sir... if we don't do this as safely as possible, Isaac may be in the most danger of anyone else at this school... as for who will teach the kids of Kincaid's class, how about you have Ms Leah do it instead? She's learned enough to be a substitue for Kincaid for the rest of the schooling process, almost a week and a half. And by next semester, you should find a new teacher that can replace Kincaid that's much better," I smiled.

"Of course... what are you going to say to Isaac?" the principal asked.

"The right words that he needs to hear, and I need to be the one to do so via telepathy. If anyone goes down there, they're asking for a death wish... have Kaplan be in charge of the watchguard duty, okay?" I smiled, him nodding as I then exited the office and then proceeded to the basement's blockade, me then sitting down on the ground and speaking to Isaac from afar. "Isaac... can you hear me?" I asked, him then gasping and looking around in fear. "Don't worry, I'm not in the basement. I'm above it... I'm speaking to you with my mind from afar," I said, him then gawking before then sniffling. "I heard everything... I know you're scared, because I am, too... we both know the issues that are at risk, but I can promise you that I've found out a means to protect everyone, including your sister," I said, him then speaking with his mind.

"How can you be so calm?... I was just told that if I don't finish this dastardly machine, that my sister's going to die! And if I let anyone down to the basement, then they'll get killed, too!" Isaac said in fear, me sighing at that.

"And that's why I've told Lamont, and we agreed to make some special rulings in place... from here on out, I'll have Ms Janice place your food on the top step of the basement and I'll give you a ring for you to get a bite and some water to eat and drink via telepathy. Mr Kaplan is going to serve as a full-time guard for the daytime for protecting the basement and, when it reaches nighttime, I'll have Pico watch over the place, since she doesn't need sleep, as she's a ghost. I'll let her know of the situation so she doesn't go snooping down in the basement... Miss Leah will be teaching Kincaid's students in the meantime and, when it comes to the upcoming internship day, I'll have it so that the teachers protect the basement via the top of the stairs... only when the school year finishes will you give me the two stones so I can destroy them. And, when that happens, I'll give them some fake evidence saying that the stones were destroyed during an accidental backfire in the final experiment, where you tried to use the stones at maximum power to see what would happen," I said, Isaac nodding at that in private.

"O-Okay... y-you promise that Melody will be safe? I worry about her the most," he said with concern.

"I promise that Melody will be safe. And if anything happens to her, I will take full responsibility," I said, Isaac sighing in relief afterwards. "Now, I'm going to fetch you some breakfast and place it at the top of the basement, same with some Orange Juice. You'll need a hearty meal in order to focus, even if it's a tool used for evil. I'll save you, too at some point, I promise," I said, him sighing.

"I sure hope so..." Isaac sighed. I then simply got him his preferred breakfast in a bacon and egg sandwich, mixed with orange juice for a drink and three miniature cheese wheels on the side. I placed it on the top step and, after waiting a bit, Isaac then emerged from the darkness of the basement and picked up the food with a small, sad smile. "Thank you..." he sighed before then taking the food along with him to the basement... we still had a week's worth of schoolwork in order to get to the end of the year, so I proceeded to simply mail my letter to Beth in the school mail bin before then arriving at class at least half an hour late.

"There she is! Where were you?" Ms April asked in surprise, me noting that Leah wasn't around.

"I had to do some emergency stuff including Mister Kincaid... new rule, nobody at ALL goes to the basement. Lamont's rules, not mine. It's for everyone's safety," I said, the group being confused at that.

"Why? Is there a reason?" Keith asked.

"Let's just say, Kincaid gave a very, VERY dark threat. If someone goes to the basement other than Isaac.. cckkkk," I said with my mind as I then made the visual of my finger going across my throat, the group then gawking as I hushed them with a shush. "Don't say a word about it, got that? After all, Kincaid may have some spies at the school," I said, them nodding as I then had our group get to classwork, me needing to play catch-up for the first time since arriving at the school. Thanks for nothing, Kincaid.
